keeps my tea hot all day
So it does what it should, keeps hot things hot, but much better than expected, hot tea made in morning, still steaming hot 8 hours later. Saves time and money than a coffe shop, time saving between kids drops offs at clubs rather than waiting in queues to by a tea/coffee.
Great Flask
I’m very impressed with this flask the tea was still piping hot 8 hours later. The only thing is it only has one cup but we bought a collapsing one so all good. But excellent product any easy to carry with the handle.

Bought to make feeding my baby easier. I checked the temp after 12 hours and it was still 74.5 degrees. Brilliant for night feeds and days out.
It’s huge though! Maybe not ideal for short trips out, could do with a 500ml one.
Bought 2 more to add to my hot water system
I use these flasks a lot in winter when I need to keep water hot for a long time. Now that I have 3, I am well prepared for next winter. Part of my reduced reliance on fossil fuels for keeping water hot.
I needed a flask to last me for a 9 hour shift at work and I was very impressed. It keeps my coffee pipping hot from start to finish. It also has enough room for 4 full cups in.
The only thing I don’t like is that they’ve made the handle out of metal, so it makes a noise hitting the metal body of the flask. I can even hear it making a noise in my backpack. That’s the only thing keeping it from 5 stars.
Keeps drinks hot very well indeed
I would recommend the 1.2 ltr over the smaller ones for hot drinks simply due to the larger volumes ability to retain heat better.

Best flask by far for holding hea
This is the second Thermos flask I have purchased (the other one I got from a supermarket) and they are by far the best for keeping water/drinks warm. Whilst other flasks only keep warm for a few hours this is literally still piping hot at the end of the day and sometimes even 24 hours later too. This size (1.2l) fills roughly 3 cups of a medium size and has been brilliant for keeping me topped up with warm drinks whilst at craft markets!
I wanted a flask that I could fill with hot water and take to work, so I could then make myself coffee in a separate small flask throughout the day. My only want, was a flask that would retain the heat. Safe to say this is awesome. As a test, I filled the flask at 16:00 when I went to work and then left the remaining water in the flask until I started work at 16:00 the following day… The water left in the flask was still hot enough to make a coffee. That’s pretty awesome!

You are probably looking for a new flask and wanting one that keeps your brew hot and doesn’t leak I was doing the same and has already tried a few flasks that I use on walks, but didn’t keep my brew warm over the full day at work. This flask was a little more pricey than the basic ones I’d searched through, but its a name I’m familiar with. So does it leak ? No it doesn’t (just make sure you fill it to slightly under the bottom edge of the stopper, or the stopper won’t be able to close fully as it hits the liquid. Does it keep warm all day ? Yes it does, it keeps it hot all day. In the video I’d filled it the previous morning (over 24hrs before) and had taken it to work and drunk at least half of the contents, brought it home and left it. Still plenty hot enough after 24hrs only half full after being opened several times the previous day ! Not only that, its a full metal flask so not going to shatter with a bit of knocking and banging in your bag/vehicle.
Kept the soup warm
Only used this once so far but was pleased with it. Kept the soup really hot for the five hours that was needed. Easy to pour. Easy to clean. No risk of breakage as it is metal. Looks smart too
Does exactly what it says
I got this flask so I could have a steady supply of hot lemon and ginger tea to nurse my cold and sore throat without having to run a kettle every so often. I read the reviews and the manufacturer’s claims and being the owner of a Thermos food flask that’s still going strong after 10 years, I decided to get the 1.2L Thermos flask.
It arrived on time and after washing it with warm soapy water, I filled it up with hot tap water for about 5 minutes while the kettle boiled. Then I emptied it and filled it with fresh boiled water. I topped it off with 2 more kettles between 8pm and 11am. Twelve hours later, the water is still steaming hot, even though it was only about a third full after my last pour!

This is great for taking to work filled with lovely fresh coffee or tea and stays warm all day. The water in my office is undrinkable so this was a perfect solution for me. I do pre-heat it with boiling water while making my drink up in a large pyrex jug and it works a treat. Really lovely quality too. One warning though, take care as the cup heats up and gets very hot to handle.
Forget Stanley, Thermos is king
Always had Thermos, tried the other brands but there is a reason thermos has been going so long! It does flasks so well. I’ve got the cup which is the best spill proof one ever, the food flask which keeps you scran good and hot. So this flask is a no brainer. Keeps my brew hot, like just made, hot for a good 6/8 hrs. I’ve never had the need to use it longer than that, but I guess it would go for hours more. I don’t know about keeping it cool, but I guess so. Don’t bother going cheap. I make tea at 6 p.m. for my husband to take to work, when he comes back the next day at 8 a.m. the rest of the tea is still hot, it starts to get warm around 1 or 2 p.m. Excellent brand

I really like this. I bought it because there is no fridge in the office and the guys only drink black coffee. So I fill it up with my tea. It keeps the tea hot which I like. One day I didn’t even use it and I checked the temperature the following day (I didn’t drink it mind) and it was still warm! The only thing I can fault it on is it is difficult to clean all the way to the bottom even when I got a specifically long cleaning brush.
Keeps cold and ho
Used this a few times now for days out. We have two, we use one for cold water and one for hot water. If you want hot water put hot water in it either over night or for an hour before you leave then empty it then re fill with hot water. Definitely does keep it pipping hot. If you want cold water I put water in it then put it in the fridge the night before. Even if you have them side by side with one hot and one cold it still works great.

Keeps things hot for long
I got this when I was ill with the flu and could barely get out of bed. I would make a big batch of soup/tea and keep it in the thermos by my bed. It stayed hot the whole day which was super convenient!
Fantastic flask hot drinks for once
Filled the flash with hot water, left it for 10 mins then emptied it and filled with hot water then left it 12 hours opened the flask and tested the water it was about 90 degrees so left it another 12 hours tested it just under 90 degrees in the hole I tested it every 12 hours for the next 2 days and after 72 hours it was still hot took it fishing the other day and the drinks where hot from start to finish 100% satisfactio
Drink keeps hot for hours
This is really smart, with a great paint finish. It pours well out of the half-opened stopper. It loses a star because it is pricey yet doesn’t have a second cup. Consequently you have to take an extra cup with you, which rather defeats the object.

Quality
This is a 100% quality well made product. I’ve already tried and tested it and so far it’s the best flask I’ve used. Obviously basic but does what it says on the tin. Single stainless steel cup and well insulated deep screw top robust seal – I would recommend plus this colour was cheaper than the others but still same product. Brilliant.

It's the daddy...
Feels indestructible. Got it for my wife, so had to be durable, and it’s been great. Easy to clean and reliably sturdy. There are definitely better looking flasks out there, but this won’t let you down if you need something to put up with a bashing!

Went hiking with this full of coffee, 2 perfect mugs after 3 hours and 2 more full mugs after 6hours that were still hot enough, not perfect but totally acceptable.
The one small complaint is the one cup provided on top of flask is black plastic on the inside and I don’t drink hot drinks out of plastic, reverse the materials and it’s a 6 stars

As it’s a large size, it would be better if it came with 2 cups as it could most likely be used by more than one person (although to be fair, I use it whilst working on my allotment for the day so one cup is ok for me – it replaced an older flask that did have 2).
The stopper with pouring ‘feature’ isn’t the best design but once you get the hang of it it’s ok.
It was very annoying though to buy this and then 2 weeks later get an offer to buy one for 5 less than I paid! Bit too late by then!!
OK if you make your hot drink before you fill the flask, but useless if you want to make a fresh Tea or Coffee later. I tested Flask by pre-filling with boiling water, left to warm up for a few minutes, then refilled with fresh boiling water. Ambient temperature was 18 C, and I used a thin thermocouple to measure a full flask. Started at 99 C, was 93C after 4 hours, 87 C after 8 hours, 82 C after 12 hours, and 70C after 24 hours. It would be colder if you had already drunk some. Leaflet with it states it is not dishwasher-proof, unlike description on website. Care & User Guide requires a magnifying glass to read.
This flask is perfect i use it to study take it in to uni and it lasts me all day, i was on black tea and oat milk or lemon for a month no problems. ONCE i used apple cinnamon tea only ONCE and now the seal stinks of apple cinnamon and i can’t get rid of the smell. It ruined my coffee as it seems to permeate through the flask. I tried scent free dish soap, vinegar, and baby bottle sterilising fluid and nothing shifts the smell and my drinks remain ruined. I finally caved and bought a replacement seal. Note to self not to use fruit tea in the flask.

Good quality flask by Thermos
Flask arrived in perfect condition ready to replace an old version that had broken. The design looks robust and will hopefully last many years. It is a very dark, navy blue colour. The handle is black, and the flask has a silver cup.
Fabulous Flask
This is a great product. Keeps liquids really hot for 18 hours plus. Once you get the hang of the screw top opening the pouring action is so useful as the liquid flow can be controlled. I found it useful whilst camping and on walking holiday. Not excessively heavy empty. Would buy another one.

This is by far the best vacuum flask I have ever had. Very lightweight and keeps drinks hot for at least 8 hours, depending on how full the flask is ( as it becomes empty then temp falls somewhat). Useful to be able to pour a hot drink without completely removing the stopper, i.e. retains the heat more effectively.

Excellent flask
Metal thermos flasks are amazing, they keep drinks hot for hours (we have had piping hot coffee out of ours more than 8 hours after filling it; if there’s any left the next day it’s usually still warm!) and they don’t fall over and smash like the glass ones do. Paid for itself after about two long trips with the savings on motorway services coffee.

Nice finish, very sturdy build quality and a useful handle. And most importantly excellent heat retention.
All in all an excellent flask. The only area its slightly let down by is it’s cup as it’s stainless steel on the outside but completely plastic on the inside which is a shame as it is a cost-saving measure which reduces quality significantly. I use a stainless steel mug that fit’s happily on the top but would have been far nicer if the supplied cup was just stainless steel ideally twinwall. All in all I’m very happy with this flask.

This keeps boiling water very hot for 24hrs. With the hike in power prices, I boil my kettle in the morning y and fill my flask. The next morning, I can still make a cup of tea.
For work, I fill with tea and can still drink it when I get home at night…..(I work 10 hour days).

I bought this flask for my boyfriend as he works early mornings, to make sure he had a drink that was always hot during the winter months. This flask certainly does just that! When I empty the flask at around 4 pm in the afternoon, his coffee is still steaming despite being made at 5 am! Definitely worth the money 🙂
