These are great, dash cam is great quality, easy to install and very straight forward to operate. The memory card has easy access if you need to take it out. After buying them for my family I bought one for myself. I didn’t need the reversing camera wired in as my car already has one but this is by far the best style dash cam on the market as covers both front and rear and takes up no additional screen space

Very easy to setup. Nice and tidy. The picture quality front & rear camera is very good in day light conditions. Picture quality is not so great on wet dark evenings as the car lights tend to blur the camera. You can still make out other cars.
This works really well and can view front and rear at same time although I find that distracting so only have it on rear view like a normal mirror would be but it still records both directions at the same time I am really please with it.
Thoroughly impressed with this dash cam. It has all the features you’ll need from it and does as it’s supposed to do. The front and rear video quality is excellent. It even includes a free 32GB micro-sd card which is very convenient! The only issue I’ve experienced is the product seems to be too heavy for my rear view mirror, so if you hit a bump or pot hole, the camera drops down obscuring your view, I’m looking to solve this with an aftermarket rear-view mount. That’s not the fault of the camera though. I’d certainly recommend this product if you are after a dash cam which attaches to your rear view mirror.

Easy to instal and set up I thought. I have the rear camera inside (as I have a reversing camera already as an OEM standard.
The picture quality is good and I definitely like the compact nature of combining with the rearview mirror, certainly better than attaching it to the windscreen.
Only driven in daylight so far, so can’t comment regarding night vision.
Only negative, is that I try using the second USB to charge my phone, and it evidently didn’t like it. The camera kept switching itself off and on. Remove the phone lead, and it works fine again.
Very easy to set up. Images from both camera’s are very clear. The rear view camera takes a bit of getting used to as it shows a lot more than the original rear view mirror.

Im not going to lie this is the best thing since sliced bread – easy to install & i thought id never be able to install it!!
Picture quality was – goodish, i wouldnt say its terrible!
Thing is its annoying how it loops record – so it gets to 3 mins & then record again (dont worry every single video is recored)
Only thing you need is a mechanical to install it in the brake light – but i managed to do it with a bit of tape – bit tacky but it works well!

When starting to look for a dash cam, I thought I would have to have a box stuck on the windscreen. I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered mirror dash cams, however a bit apprehensive as I had not seen one in action. Took the plunge however.
It was very easy to fit with the help of YouTube videos showing how to conceal the wiring.
It works very well as a dash cam capturing both front and rear footage,but the most impressive feature is the view from the rear camera shown in the mirror,it is crystal clear but a very wide field of view almost eliminating blind spots.

I bought this mainly for the rear view camera, to allow me to completely fill the boot with camping gear and yet still have vision out of the rear window. It works WAY better than I anticipated – the picture is incredibly clear, the view unimpeded in a 170 degree angle which totally eliminates the blind spot, I just feel like I’m getting much more information on what’s happening around me. A big improvement on peering through the rear window (and past the kids!)
It was pretty simple to set up – I watched a video on YouTube – it basically involves running the cables under the rubber door seals and positioning the camera and mirror unit. I attached the camera to the plastic trim just inside the rear window using the two tiny screws provided. Obviously this does put tiny holes in the trim but worth it!
The unit is incredibly simple to operate but has a few options/settings with regard to video recording, crash detection, picture quality etc. It’s very intuitive and responsive.
I always thought the idea of a car having cameras instead of mirrors (a la Tesla) was a bit gimmicky, but I totally get it now.
For 75 quid this is an amazing bit of kit.

The camera itself is fairly easy to set up and attach to your existing rear view mirror. It can a bit fiddly to get the correct viewing angle, but with a bit of jiggery pokery its quite stable.
The playback image can be quite hard to see if it’s too bright, but that’s owing to the reflection of the mirror. I found that flicking the mirror up to anti glare mode does away with this problem. Not a real issue since I’m not really wanting to watch the image while driving anyway.
The rear camera has more than enough length in the cable for a car or even large transit/mini bus. Great bit of kit, ideal for helping me reverse onto and with a trailer.
Haven’t wired it up to the reverse light yet so haven’t checked how well it turns on to rear view when reverse is engaged.
Haven’t got the hardwire kit yet so can’t comment on the parking mode.
Haven’t got the GPS antenna yet so can’t comment on the GPS functions.
As and when I get these bits of kit, I’ll update my review.

So first, I hate having traffic cams get in my line of site when I am driving, so I wanted to get one of these mirror ones. The Installation took me around 30 minutes and I am no expert with car electronics, although I will admit I work in IT and know my way around wiring in general that just made connecting the reversing light simple. First weekend we had it we did something a little extreme and drove for 11 hours straight from the south of England to Scotland, I have since owned and used it for a couple of months since then, so this is a review where it has been used lots. At first the reversing mode was annoying, but tap the powerbutton and it becomes just a normal rear view mirror, now I am use to it I would not go back. Video is nice and clear, front and rear.
This is my first dash cam or mirror. Built quantity is good and image quality is good.
On the down side. I left the mirror attached to power source over night and in morning mirror was really hot to touch. Still works fine tho.

The main reason I bought this camera was for the very long cable as it was to be installed in a van. The cable reached from the bottom of the back door all the way up along the roof of the van and to the rear view mirror area, so a perfect length!
It’s very easy to set up and the picture quality is excellent both front and back. The ability to swipe/up down on the screen to slide the camera view up/down is a particular highlight. My only concerns are that the exposure settings don’t seem to do anything and the interface is very very basic. We’re talking a one-colour, MS-DOS-style display! Otherwise very happy with it.
For that price it is really good dash cam. I cannot comment on longevity but u get a lot for money.
This a second one i bought for a friend who was impressed with mine.does the same has the carview 3 2.5k but with a pretty good 1080p HD camera,rear camera cable is long enough any car or SWB Van,also includes 32g sd card, advisable to get a hardware kit which automatically turns camera to parked mode,easy to fit and hides the wires .

Brought this item for partners car to replace his old dashcam. And with the added bonus with reversing camera which his old one didn’t have. His very happy with it so far took a bit of time to install as installed rear camera outside of car. But was still very straightforward and with everything in the box and a 8mtr cable had plenty to spare. Camera quality seems good on front and rear with digital adjustments at touch able to get in correct position.
Great product fits perfect on the 10″ car mirror. Really easy to instal.
Great all round, the only negative I have is, I was asked for my email for the warranty and for that I was offered a free gift which I took advantage of, but didn’t get a reply to say I have the extended warranty let alone my free GPS

Excellent dash cam mirror. Also the fact that it’s for right hand drive cars is brilliant. Install was extremely easy. Was up and running within 1 hour.
So far so good, mainly going to use it for 24h parking monitor, as I’ve had my wind deflectors stolen. I have tested it at a night time conditions, you can still see what’s in front of you.
Overall screen quality is good but rear view camera is not the best one.
Great camera. Hangs on mirror perfectly and gives great quality picture. Not had chance to install rear camera yet so can not make judgement on that.
Bought this to fit to a Ford Mondeo hatchback, there is a lot of cable, so much it would probably fit quite easily in a bigger car. Picture quality is very clear and bright, touch screen functions and setup is far simpler for this than other rear view mounted cameras I have used, almost intuitive. Installation was easy, but I would recommend getting trim tools for hiding wires, as there is a lot of it between the mirror display and the the rear camera. Overall pleased with this purchase and impressed with how the technology has improved. From opening the box to completing fitting, including hiding the wires with correct trim tools took a couple of hours – even with my six year old daughter “helping”.

Solid Dash Cam. Well made. works well & is fairly intuitive to operate. Am waiting for hard wire kit before full installation. No point in hiding wires the have to dig them out & do it again. Nice clear pictures.

I bought this dash cam following a less than satisfactory experience with a similar but cheaper version from a different manufacturer. This one however is streets ahead in quality and reliability (so far!) for just 20 more.
Image quality on both front and rear cameras is excellent, even in low light with sufficient detail rendering for number plate recognition even at a distance.
The saved images from the rear camera are the correct way around and not mirror image as in some others, yet the live image in the mirror is reversed. Perfect!
The supplied 32Gb SD card also works fine; some ‘cheap’ SD cards have insufficient Write speed to keep up with the live video recording of both front and rear cameras and hence looped videos are missed.
The front facing camera is on the right hand side of the mirror and hence adjusts well for use in RHD vehicles. There’s also an option to add a GPS module which inserts speed and location data to the recorded videos which could be useful in an insurance claim evidence for example.
Fitting was ridiculously easy with plenty of cable for both power and the rear camera. I’ve since hard wired the power connection as the exposed cigar lighter power supply looked out of place compared with the neat camera install. The only minor difficulty was that the mini USB connector on top of the mirror fouled the interior light unit. However, trimming excess plastic on the top and side of the plug has given sufficient clearance.
In my small rear engined coupe, the rear camera fitted well at the top of the rear screen but there was so much excess cable, I needed to run it back and forth along the side to take up the slack…
Overall, I’m very pleased with the device and really wish I’d bought this one first and saved myself some time!
For the price you cannot go wrong, great price of kit the camera quality is good and very easy to set up and use. The user manual is easy to understand and overall you really can’t go wrong.
I bought it so that I have a good rear view as there is no window to see through with a conventional mirror. The added bonus of having the recording facility is great.
I was after a dashcam which looked discreet without the hassle of removing it every time i left the car so i went for this mirror dashcam. It took me less than 30mins to install both cameras and i was impressed with the quality and sharpness of the recordings even at night. It is nice to drive round with that extra peace of mind knowing that your journey is protected by the mirror dashcam. I am going to get the hardwire kit now so that my car can be protected 24/7.

its was really easy to set up and use, tucking cables away was a bit fiddly but thats to be expected, and the tool they give you did the job nicley.
video was as good as you get on a tv, and taking a pic was ded easy (see pic), you will end up with lots of 5 mins vids when you look either on pc or the mirror itself, i like the fact it carrys on recording for a few mins after you park up handy for busy car parks , the view is very good so if anyone taps the car or hits it while your away you will have footage of it, the one really good thing that i was worried about is can you just use as a mirror instead of rear camera view and still be recording AND YES YOU CAN.
the only thing you have to bear in mind is that if your doing a long road trip get a bigger sd card as it seems to over wright after about 2 1/2 hours with 5 mins recording, but if your doing local stuff you will be fine with the sd card they give you, getting card out is ded easy and using the card holder provided is simple you just pop into pc and it all comes up.
dont think ive missed anything lol but overall i really cant fault it so far and the price is good too (i got this with birthday money)

Works very well, easy to install and clear image. Saved video is actually much taller than the mirror screen shows so bear this in mind when setting up.

Received product very quickly, first delivery date after new year. Very easy to install with long cable for rear camera which is great for L200 vehicle I fitted it on. **updated 27/04/2022. Still good kit, but their practice of keeping your data safe is poor. Approx 15months after purchase I receive an email from ThiEYE to give a review for one of their products I’ve not purchased. Mine and several over email addresses that this email was sent to is visible.
Soon after, I stared to receive security emails from various other sites where I use that email, stating there have been failed log in attempts. I emailed ThiEYE and they were not concerned. formal report to be made.
Great for the price. Used in Peugeot Expert van, plenty of cable to run the rear camera from the front to the back and even have some spare which I’ve bundled together hidden in the trim. The rear camera is great as the van has no rear windows and a bulkhead, now I can see what is happening behind when driving – it even covers the blind spots that the wing mirrors don’t pick up. The picture quality is really clear front and back, but obviously when driving down unlit roads at night with no other vehicles behind you the rear camera doesn’t pick anything up; but when driving where there are streetlights it’s clear. Happy with the purchase. Easy to set up, the screen clips easily to the pointless rear view mirror Peugeot put in a van which has a bulkhead and no rear windows.

I have tried to add some pictures, but there is some thnical difficulties.
I am not a techie but I managed to install all by myself on my car including the reverse light. You have to simply connect it to the positive wire.
I have Renault Megane 2010 which has really poor rear view. I was looking for a dashcam that could help with better rear view. I love the fact that the view that you last left remains when you turn on next time. This had helped me stay on rear view camera every time I start the car.
Much of the functions are quite as I wanted. Before this, I remember somebody hit my car from back side. I realised at that time a rear view recording camera is mandatory. Luckily the guy accepted his mistake but if he had not then how could i prove i have not hit him reversing my car?
Videos are quite good and I can see numbet plates.
When reversing it will automatically change to rear view with a more expanded wide view to which is really good.
I like the fact I can see date day and time with all formats including am/pm. Also you can add your number plate on videos which might be helpful when making a claim.
Video appears zoomed to adjust for full screen but it still covers a lot. Despite that it records a much wider view with both cams. I leave display all time on rear camera as I need that view. Front view you can always see yourself.
Records both videos in different folders and you can view directly on it.
Bought 128gb integral microsd card and it works perfectly.
The bad thing is rear view is poor in very dark. I cant blame it since my rear view mirror itself cant see anything in same dark. I assume its with all cameras in market. I have seen cameras that turn black and white and uses night vision but this doesn’t use it. Moreover, the shining headlights of cars behind you makes it difficult to see. I wish there was auto exposure control, it would have solved the issue.
Also imcludes a voucher to opt for either hard wire kit for 24 hrs recording, or GPS module or 1 year extended warranty. I will go for warranty as I need to ensure it works well.
I am quite satisfied for now. I am happy I got it. Will edit this review with experience in a few weeks. This one did the job. For the price it gives you much more than expensive Branded ones.

This dash cam has everything you need in one box to get going. There is a memory card, SD card reader, pry tool, mirror dash cam, rear dash cam and plenty of wiring. The user manual is very well written and easy to follow. Installation of both cams took around 30 minutes and was so easy to install. The touch screen is so responsive and the settings are very easy to navigate through and customise. The build quality of both cameras is excellent and of high quality. When starting the car the dash cam automatically starts and if the rear cam is connected then the view you get is through the rear cam. Adjusting the cams is super simple by just sliding your finger up and down the right side of the cam for each of the cameras, allowing for finer tuning of the views. By pressing the power button briefly the display will turn off (still recording) allowing you to use the conventional mirror but once you get used to the rear cam as your main display then the conventional mirror becomes redundant (my personal opinion). You have the choice of rear cam view, front cam view, split screen view, conventional mirror. Overall the build quality plus the quality of the resolution and videos are outstanding.
GPS Antenna
I added the GPS antenna because I wanted to be able to not only visually record my drives but I also wanted the additional data which shows the exact route you took along with the speeds that you were driving at. Very useful if you have been accused of speeding because the GPS antenna will record your exact speed. Installation was super easy as the pry tool was included and it was just a case of feeding the wire behind the car trim. Again the manual was very well written and easy to understand. Mounting the GPS receiver might take a couple of attempts before you find the sweet spot, so I recommend not sticking it into place until you have found the perfect location. The star for this is the GPS player that you can download for free because as you view the video footage you will see the map on the right-hand side showing you driving along the route with your speed.
Hardwire Kit
I added the hardwire kit because I wanted to take advantage of the additional settings of the mirror dash cam. These are time-lapse monitoring, motion detection, and parking guard, all of which are unique and very useful in their own right. The time-lapse monitoring allows you to take a single frame every 1, 2, or 3 seconds whilst your car is parked up. Motion detection will start recording when it senses motion around the car and stops after 20 seconds of non-motion. The parking guard will record any collision or impact to your car whilst it is parked up. The manual as always is well written and very easy to follow. Installation took around 30 minutes and was very easy to install. The kit comes with connectors that slot into the fuse box, you simply take out the fuse and plug the fuse like connector in its place and then insert the fuses into the head of the connector. You do not have to be fully conversant with electrical wiring as it is just a case of plugging the connector into the fuse that you are going to use. The power convertor box also has battery protection built in, so if it detects your car battery a certain voltage it will shut down the dash cam.
All in all these are quality products at very competitive prices and I would wholly recommend these products to anyone who wants a quality-built mirror dash cam that is super easy to install, looks stylish and most importantly records high quality videos.

After searching on the internet for over a week I came across Thieye car view 2 which had excellent reviews. I decided to buy it and I am not disappointed with my decision. Was delivered very fast and well packaged. The camera looks fantastic and fits perfectly on my car mirror. I have just loosely fitted it to test it out before I hard wire it in and I must say the clarity is absolutely fantastic. Very easy to set up. You also get a micro usb card included as well. If you are looking for a mirror dashcam then I would not hesitate in buying this one. Customer services are superb as well.
Best dashcam Ive ever had. All my other dashcams keeped on falling off the windscreen with the sucker. This dashcam comes with 170degree of vision front and rear and also comes with a reverse sight. Great dashcam and easy to set up
I have bought a 2nd one only hours after I had installed the first one. it really is that good. I found with the second fitting that the Pry Tool was really handy but I did need to use the back of a teaspoon to help with some harder area’s.
Now this one has been fitted inside a 7 seater 4X4 & you see in picture 6 that is what I’m left over (never A bad thing), so there is loads of cable to play around with.

Picture 3 – the camera has been set up in the right position for the forward facing camera. Sorry the mirror isn’t in focus on this picture but it is very clear. It’s just to show you what the driver sees & what the camera sees as well.

Picture 5 – All camera’s have been set up right but now that the rear camera if off & I look in my mirror to maybe use as a mirror. I can’t see through the car to look out of the back window.
This might put you off & there might be a way round this. Which I haven’t found out how yet, unless I lower the mirror down. Which you know you cant really do.
So what I have done is, leave the rear camera on all the time while I’m driving. Weird at first but the rear camera sees more of the back of the road than my mine mirror looking down & through the back window every did.
Wish they could of got the camera to be able to move down a bit more & I think the small problem would of been solved.
Everything you need in the box to fit & start straight away.
Easy instruction, Easy to follow the set-up’s on the mirror.
Two other people who have seen this working in my car already have said there getting one.
Can’t wait to add the GPS & Hardwire kit in both cars later on this year & try them out with the new fittings working.
Just one thing to ThiEYE. Great that you have made things easy to us users but maybe in the future you could add a few small cable ties to finish it off.
Apart from a very small problem, I still give it 5 stars.

After receiving a reply back (Email) from there tech guys (which only took a few hours).
There was something I didn’t know.
After setting it all up & getting your mirror in the right place. In my case the camera lens pointing as far down as it could go.
You then can go on to the touch screen mirror to change the angle of the lens.
Press your finger on the mirror and with keeping your finger on there move it up and down you will then see the lens moving.
Both cars sorted & can use the mirror as a mirror if needed.
In my package was a free gift. I choose hardwire kit in both cases. only took 2 days to turn up.
I don’t know about five stars they should get more.

I was a bit nervous to spend so much on a dash cam but watched some reviews and all seemed good so I ordered this product it arrived next day and it’s already up and running so easy to instal and the quality is amazing!
Was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this product. It’s very clear and gives you a wide angle as your driving making it easier to see more on the road. It’s not distracting you just kind of glance as you would a mirror.
Well worth every Penney.

This product has given me piece of mind, because now, I no longer need to scramble around to find my mobile phone if their is an issue on the road with another vehicle or pedestrian. The products design is slick. The instructions are easy to follow and I set it up very quickly. The Front and Rear cameras produce good visual quality and menu navigation is painless. It’s a drem come true.
Excellent gadget. Does exactly what you want it to do and with ease. The footage is good and easily view on and PC, MAC or even phone if you pop the SD can in one with the right software.
Only miner negative i can find is the the time and date are displayed on the right of the mirror and there’s no option in settings to turn it off. Can be slightly distracting and annoying when your car already has a time and date display.

This is a beautiful device. I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time. The mirror is fantastic. Touch screen …… All settings are displayed on the screen. Easy to use, the mirror is large and comfortable. The set has two cameras … behind the mirror and a camera separately on the back of the car. All components and wires are also included with the memory card. Everything will fit. Night vision – great, good video quality. When parking the car is very comfortable because you focus on the sounds. . A great thing that is a good helper for drivers. Thanks .

From camera mirror full touch screen nice large 10″, fits on top of existing mirror with strips.
Clear 170 degree wide angle and screen can be split with one touch , which will show back and frond camera in same time.
Other nice feature power plug has extra USB port so it I do t loose and power port , can charge my phone threw it while camera recording.
Came with 32gb memory card so no need to buy additionally. I just did a format once once it plugged in.
Overall nice camera with clear night and day time footage, it has loop recording and g-sensor. Also very long back camera cable , easily fits even long cars.
