I work on laptop for long hours and don’t have a comfortable chair. After having gone through severe back pain I have decided to buy this chair. I am feeling so good and I can say my back pain is almost gone. Very good buy for the people who sit for long hours before laptops.
Got this chair after having a car accident and messing my back up. It has a think cushion for those long 9 hour shifts. Tilts far back and to your liking. The lumbar support is great and can be adjusted anytime with a twist handle at the back. Headrest is good would have been better if can adjust it down and down not just up you can adjust the height for me the setting is perfect. Others would prefer to tilt it lower/down. But all and all it’s a great chai
I just received and assembled the chair so i can not speak for the longevity but it is well built with most metal parts and feels real sturdy. It was unbelievably simple to put together, and the comfort is impeccable. I managed to grab it for 119.99 Which is insane, im 6ft 1 and 100 kg and this chair doesnt budge its very tough and i recommend for Every one looking for a good budget Chai
I spent long time for comparision and finally choose this chair! High value deal and this is a very price comtitive office chair. Comfortable and real ergonomic chair which is highly adjustable for many parts. The 3D armrest made of plated steel looks high end and durable. Not many office chairs are having such expensive armrest.
Overall, this ergonomic office chair definitely worths my recommendation. And I will update after longer usage period if encounter any usage problems. So far so good.
Really great chair for WFH, needed something that gives good back posture/support as on the computer all day. Lumbar is good, headrest actually fits my head so my fellow short people this one is for you. Plenty of adjustability if you are short or tall, overall quality is good. Misses out on 5 stars as the arm rests are not very soft and the metal frame/wheels are really hard and easy to bump into which my toes have discovered
I am on my third office chair of this type in about as many years. I purchased this chair because the base is all metal, not plastic – the plastic seat support on the other chairs failed at the base. This one seems much more structurally sound. It is comfortable, but not what I would call plush. That said, I can sit in it for a day’s work – no worries.
Brought as a present, the chair is really good quality. The only negative was some of the bolts which were in a clear bag was a bit rusty? Like they had gotten wet inside the bag? Didn’t affect the chair but did have to clean bolts 1st before they went on.
The adjustable lumbar support is a game-changer. It molds perfectly to my lower back, providing just the right amount of comfort and support, ultimately alleviating any discomfort I used to feel after hours of work. The headrest adds an extra touch of luxury, allowing me to lean back and relax during those well-deserved breaks.
But what truly sets this chair apart is the 3D metal armrest feature. It’s like the chair was custom-made for me! I can adjust the armrests to match the height of my desk, ensuring that my arms and wrists are in a comfortable position while I type away. No more awkward angles or strained wrists.
And let’s talk about the rocking feature — a little movement goes a long way in maintaining focus and preventing stiffness. I find myself more engaged in my tasks and surprisingly more energized throughout the day.
The mesh design of the chair is not only aesthetically pleasing, but it also keeps me cool, even during those intense work sessions. I appreciate the thought that went into every detail of this chair’s design.
Assembly was a breeze too. The instructions were clear, and I had it set up within no time.
Overall, the Ticova Ergonomic Office Chair has truly transformed my work experience. My productivity has increased, and I no longer dread sitting at my desk for extended periods. It’s a fantastic investment in my health and well-being. I highly recommend this chair to anyone in need of an ergonomic and stylish office solution. Your body will thank you!
Kudos to Ticova for creating such a remarkable product that combines comfort, style, and functionality in one. This chair has made me a loyal customer, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!
The Ticova Ergonomic Office Chair has completely transformed my work experience, providing unparalleled comfort and support for long hours at my desk. The standout feature of this chair is its adjustable lumbar support, which allows me to customize the perfect level of support for my lower back. This feature has significantly reduced discomfort and strain, promoting better posture and preventing backaches. The high back design and included headrest offer added support for my neck and shoulders, ensuring proper alignment and reducing tension. The 3D metal armrests are a fantastic addition, allowing me to adjust them to the perfect height and angle for optimal arm and wrist support. The 130 rocking feature provides a gentle and relaxing motion, promoting circulation and easing any stiffness during extended periods of sitting. The only minor drawback I have encountered is that the assembly process may take some time and effort. However, the unbeatable comfort and support offered by the Ticova Ergonomic Office Chair make it an essential investment for anyone seeking a productive and comfortable work environment.
I’ll start with the positives: I have been using this chair daily for the past month. It’s comfortable, and the back and headrest provide great support. The lumbar support can be adjusted to suit you, I settled for the loosest possible as that feels the most comfortable. The tilt adjustment is great and the ability to lock the tilt in place is something I have used more than expected. I would definitely recommend this chair for those that WFH.
Now, onto the negative the armrests. Unfortunately they aren’t as adjustable as I needed for my build. I have long arms and narrow shoulders and found that the arm rests don’t go low enough or close enough together for the correct support. It was actually so bad that it resulted in me pinching a nerve in my shoulder as my shoulders were slightly raised and stretched apart when resting my arms. This is because the lowest setting was still too high, and the closest together was still too far apart. Leaning on these over the course of the first month took a toll to the point that a nerve was pinched and I could no longer sit and had to rest. I have since taken the arm rests off as a result of this.
I give the chair 4/5 as I had to remove the arm rests. If arm rests are a big selling point for you then I would look elsewhere. Otherwise very comfortable and adjustable.
Arm rests adjust in height, in how far forward/back they go, and in steps side to side which makes them great for different seating positions and supports my arms to comfortably use my keyboard and mouse in different positions at my desk. The rests are wide so although they are somewhat stiff they feel comfy since they disperse pressure across their surface. Just don’t expect to be able to lean your elbow onto them comfortably. They are arm rests not elbow rests. Adjust them to desk height and let them take the weight of your arms while you type, like an extension of your desk. They are very adjustable to accommodate this.
The lumbar support is the worst part of this chair. It is punishingly painful if you sit in the chair and adjusting it up or down, back or forth doesn’t help. It digs into your spine especially if you are thin and have a bony back. It actually hurts after a while, even if you try to sit ‘ergonomically’. Thankfully you can take the plastic lumbar support out and the chair is a lot more comfy without it, and if you need lumbar support you can stuff a small firm cushion behind the mesh where it was. I think the natural curve of the mesh back is supportive enough on its own though.
Overall I really like this chair, and the build quality is rather nice.
Easy to put together, solo assembly took about 20 minutes.
Seems nice and comfortable and reasonably sturdy, with good lumbar support. I guess time will tell.
All the parts are sturdy and the chair is comfortable. Took me 10 minutes to assemble it and the instructions are clear so it is easy to assemble.
I have been using this chair for a week now and feel so comfortable.
Reasonably-priced and fairly easy to assemble – pay attention to the diagrams or you will assemble it with the arms backwards. Would like more flexible adjustment on the backrest (a couple more available positions would be good). Decent range of adjustments otherwise. Used for several days now and I have been comfortable. Absolutely no wobble so far. Price was reasonable – worth it as long as durability stays good
Easy to assemble, came well packed and sturdy. Mechanism and hand rest are quite heavy like the expensive ones. Bonus, it has a tilt lock at several angles which is not mentioned in the description.
Spent a bit of time looking and comparing many chairs before deciding on this Ticova one. What a great choice. It was very easy to put together with just the supplied Allen key + bolts required and the spare bolt of both sizes was a nice touch.
It is well finished, sturdy and very comfortable to sit on for a full day working from home. And the lumbar support / headrest on top off the usual features simply add to the positives. Only 3 weeks use so far but it is light years ahead of any of my previous chairs.
Overall, a very high quality chair for 140 on prime day that feels like other 500 chairs I have had in the office.
Tried to buy a chair with better back and head support for working from home at a desk all day. The back support can be adjusted but mainly seems to just stick uncomfortably into your back. I’ve wedged a soft blanket between the back and the mesh to make it more comfortable.
The arms adjust nicely, but the chair overall feels like some kind of electric chair. Not sure if this is just because it’s more supportive but it feels less comfort-made and more torture-devicey.
I spend a good 8-10 hours at my desk 5 days a week and this has helped enormously with my comfort.
The chair is delivered in a well packed, smaller than you expect box. All parts are well packed and protected. All parts including allen key (with spares) are include, the instruction are easy to follow and it will take 30-40 minutes to build. You could do youself, but I needed help when slotting the chair onto the gas lift (final step)
The castors are not hard so on my laminate floor they are not noisy or super fast, so I feel safe and know this is not damaging the floor.
Some longer legged user may the seat shallow, but I like it that it slightly short of the knee so it doesn’t pinch. The seat doesnt slide – but that is usually on higher priced office chairs.
The seat pad 1 week in, is supportive, so time will tell. I like the mesh back and the 1 level to control gas lift and also back-release is a nice feature. That said once you have you seat height adjusted (flat feet , legs at 90 degrees) then you’ll probably never need to adjust. I’m 5’10” and its perfect for me.
The mesh back is cool (useful in the summer) and supportive at shoulders as well as the small of my back. I’ve done 10 hours at my desk every day this week, and I havent had any back pain.
Arms are use in terms of heigh adjustment if you want to support elbows (I generally dont), but also they slide back and forth (clickable steps) so that you can sit close to the desk (I do) without the arms clashing with the desk.
The reclining back I use a few time, but generally keep the chair locked. I’m 13 stone and leaning back it feels very safe. You can adjust the tension on the back, but it arrived set OK for me.
The headrest is possibly the only let down for me. Unless I recline or look slighyly upward then the headrest I dont seem to get any contact or support from. But this is a slight niggle – which isn’t important for me, may be how I have my desk and monitors set up, but to help others I have deducted 1 star for comfort.
To me its a fine task, for the money and a marke4d improvement from using a spare dining chair. The construction and build quality is good.
One thing that I really liked was not only in the box is a customer service number they also send a message via amazon to say “thank you for purchasing and any issues contact them”. It’s nice to have that offer of support from the supplier of this chair.
It is easy to assemble and comfortable. And the quality is good
Just assembled in around 35 mins, much easier if you have power a drill with Allen key attachment.
Clear instructions and it all went together without issue, the individual components appear sturdy and well manufactured.
Early days but very comfortable.
It’s a great looking chair with beautiful chrome plated base, it has a comfortable base with soft contoured padding and a wonderful mesh design for the backrest. The arms have easy ergonomic adjustment and the headrest is also quick and simple to adjust. Love the lumbar support, can adjust to preference but really helps curve your spin as you sit.
Price is reasonable, assembly was simple and easy with only two bolts and allen keys included and the finished product was very strong and sturdy. The chair also reclines quite far back which my previous chair didn’t do and it’s very easy to adjust the height with the hydraulic lift mechanism.
I think it’s a great chair and good value for money.
The chair is comfortable. However, tyres have difficulty on carpets.
20 mins easy assembly (electric screwdriver recommended). Feels sturdy and highly adjustable.
This is a great quality chair at an affordable price. So glad I didn’t buy a Secretlab, as this is a fraction of the price, yet the quality is still awesome
Update: initially I gave this a 1 star due to the chair breaking, but since the seller was quick to respond to the situation, had good customer service , and then sent us a replacement, I changed my review to a 4 stars.
Overall, the chair is a keeper at a reasonable price but would be even better with a slightly softer seat cushion.
My chair arrived today, and I immediately brought it inside and assembled it. It came with a one-pager assembly diagram that was clearly marked with the pieces and the letter that each bag of hardware was labeled with. (e.g. a screw from bag “D” is used to attach an arm rest) All of the hardware used the same hex wrench that came with the chair, so there was no fussing around to get things put together.
I have only been using it for about 10 minutes now, but it is so much better than my last chair. I am one of those who is working at home for the past several months, and this is a huge improvement for me. The chair is comfortable, ergonomic, with great support for my lower back.
We found them immediately to be much more supportive than the classic style of chair that you’ll find most places; the leathery/plasticky fabric that rips and just gets extremely worn out quickly. I appreciate how many ways these chairs can be adjusted, and these are quite comfortable. I think it takes some getting used to if you’ve never used an ergonomic chair at home (which I have not),
My wife loves hers and with our own Purple cushions, we’re having a much better time working from home right now with less back pain and neck strain.
The box was delivered by the USPS and had a hole in it. Also, three of the four pieces of tape on the long side of the box were broken so I initially thought I was getting a returned chair. However, nothing was damaged and all parts were there, new, and in the original packaging. All of the screws were in individual ziploc bags and lettered to correspond to the instruction sheet.
The included headrest was infinitely adjustable and made of cloth instead of mesh. It is very comfortable. I highly recommend this chair as a great value and plan on buying another one in the future.
Like many people today I am working remotely for the foreseeable future and wanted a chair that was better than my old “task chair” (not intended for full day of sitting). I researched a lot of chairs and settled on this one. It is SO comfortable. I’m in it 8-10 hours a day and have zero complaints about comfort. Everything is adjustable (arms, height, tension) so it’s great. It was easy to put together by following the instructions. I don’t have the headrest attached as I don’t need (I tried it out and it was comfortable) – the chair looks good with or without it. I actually like this chair better than the chair in my office at work (that cost over $1,000)! Very happy with this purchase!
I did have one issue where one of the wheels would not go into the corresponding hole of the leg. With that said, I emailed their customer service email and received a response within 45 minutes! Unheard of….a replacement part was ordered and they reimbursed me for the replacement.
As far as the comfort of the chair, it is very comfortable. As someone beginning 10 hour zoom days soon for weekend classes, this had to provide enough support so I could maintain my posture for the duration of my classes. In the short time I’ve used it, I can honestly say it keeps my back and neck properly supported so I can focus on my computer screen. I will update this review once I complete my first weekend of classes the end of August.
But as of now, I give it 5 stars for comfort, ease of building, and the wonderful customer service.
It takes about 30min to assemble the chair and it comes with gloves and extra screws. I only had issues with the holes on the legs being unaligned and the two wheels wouldn’t fully go in there sockets until I put a lot of weight on them. afterwards it was fine once there were in.
As a first impression of the durability the chair is stable and it feels like the armrest and cushion won’t show signs of wear and tear for a long time, but I have only had the chair for a week so I can’t say for sure this is the case.
Added a picture of the assembly instructions for those who so happen to not get one.
