Received the watch and all good. Set up was easy and apps all worked well.
Battery was okish seemed to improve after a couple of charges and got a out a day and half out of it.
The top button got stuck in and then popped of so build quality needs improving.
Not a bad watch but not great either.
I was looking for an xmas present for my other half and as I already own a Pro3 was looking at Mobvoi as I’ve not had a any problems with the products before, and found this E3 model. It fitted all the things I was looking for, lightweight, waterproof, good battery life, and most importantly WearOS. It’s got the newest processor that’s out for smartwatches and it really shows with fast start-up and hardly any lagging, and as a bonus it’s compatible with the next WearOS due out later this year I’ve had a few smartwatches running other OS and there’s just nothing to compare with, 100’s of apps and very easy to pair with your phone (can’t comment on iPhone connections as i use Android). All in all a very good mid range smartwatch
I liked the way it was very touch responsive.
Lots of settings.Great connectivity.
Also readings are very accurate.
Battery with use about a day .
I purchased the TicWatch E3 Smartwatch for my 13 year old son as a replacement for his older semi-smart watch. Much of this review is from him, with some of my opinions thrown in as well! I myself have a TicWatch 3 Pro Ultra GPS, so will make some comparisons to that model.
Packaging
His word was “Slick”
Outwardly, the packaging of the watch was very similar to the previous versions, a high-quality box containing the watch, instructions, and charger, all packaged with care to ensure a flawless product on delivery.
Watch Design
Overall, we both think the watch looks very good. It has a metallic feeling casing, and flush glass with a small outer bezel.
The watch feels sturdy, yet at the same time quite lightweight for its size. The watch is quite thick, but not excessively so.
Tactile, not fiddly, can’t accidentally press them
The side buttons both feel robust and are unobtrusive even when bending the wrist (if you wear it on your left wrist like I do, some watch buttons can get pressed when bending the wrist). The buttons are not fiddly or loose, and you can’t accidentally press them with glancing blows.
Strap
The supplied 20mm soft silicone strap feels pleasant and has a quick-release system. However, he instantly swapped it out for his current 20mm strap in his favourite colour — orange!
Display
We both agree that the 1.3″ LCD display looks good, with sharp and vibrant colours and dark blacks.
There are variable brightness settings, and my son says “The brightest of the brightness is BRIGHT!”. He has it on medium brightness usually, it still pops and is very clear.
There is also an essential mode to greatly increase battery life, this will limit functionality to more basic features but greatly extends the time between charges.
There are many watch faces included as standard, with the ability to download more from the Play Store or Mobvoi app.
Apps
Most of the apps are fairly standard from a Google Watch OS standpoint. All the regulars are there like Google Fit, Phone, Memo, Calc, Alarm, Stopwatch/Timer, Weather etc. With the benefit of access to the Google Play store to download thousands of other apps.
His most used third-party apps such as Strava and some games all worked flawlessly.
In terms of the Tic built in apps:
He is using TicSleep monitoring sleep, as the watch is comfortable enough to wear to bed
TicZen and TicBreath can help de-stress
TicHearing can be used to measure the volume of an area, which he loves to use for fun.
TicPulse is used to monitor heart rate, excellent for exercise and runs, but he does not have it set to 24/7 monitoring in order to conserver some battery. Accuracy seems consistent with the Pro 3 and Pro 2020 models.
TicOxygen measures blood oxygen levels.
TicExercise has all the modes you would expect from an exercise tracking app — Run, Walk, Treadmill, Cycling, Freestyle, and many more including Swimming due to the IP68 water resistant rating. It can also upload to Strava, which is his exercise hub of choice.
A new addition to the Tic apps is Hearth Health, which can 24/7 monitor your heart activity to detect unusual activity.
All of this gets pulled into the TicHealth app which gives a nice overview of all the above functions.
Touchscreen and Hardware
Hi words were “Smooth, Instant, Accessible”
The screen is responsive to touch, I would say somehow more responsive than the previous models, including the more expensive Pro 3 Ultra! The Qualcomm Snapdragon 4100 platform, which is a powerful applications processor and ultra-low power co-processor, performs admirably and combined with the 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM it never seems to slow down or show any signs of lagging.
The usual connectivity that you’d expect such as Bluetooth 5 and 802.11b/g/n Wireless, with he addition of NFC, speaker, mic, and a whole host of GNSS technology (GPS+Beidou+Glonass)
Battery Life
With the 380mAh battery, he gets around 3 days before needing to recharge when using the sleep monitoring. He thinks without the sleep monitoring, it would get more like 5 days. But if you weren’t wearing it to bed you’d probably charge it nightly anyway!
Essential mode would extend this even further, if you wanted to remove some of the smart features.
UI
One word — “Smooth”
He’s a pretty savvy tech user already, but finds the UI user friendly, and can navigate around easily. All touches are recognised even when using very gentle touches, and no delays between presses and apps opening.
Charging
The watch includes a discreet magnetic charging clip. He did initially find it slightly difficult to line up, but no problem after I showed him the correct orientation. In a slightly different orientation to the Pro models, the charger clip cable runs the same direction as the strap, rather than from the side.
The charging from totally flat to 100% full can be done in a few hours, so popping it on the charger while in the shower or something can keep it topped up almost indefinitely (though you can wear it in the shower with its IP68 water rating!)
Conclusion
Best watch he’s had!
It’s a superb and very comfortable smartwatch that really shines in the TicWatch line-up, and the general smartwatch line-up for that matter!
Last smart watch was a Skagen Falster 2 which was terrible. Battery was charged overnight every night. Some days I’d get an almost full day. The next day a couple of hours. Back to the Tic watch. Good battery life. Still has half charge after a full day (points at Skagen). Useful set of features only downside, which cost the watch a star, is setting up the Mobvoi ID. It always says capcha has expired. After two weeks I’ve given up. Shame but it’s not why I brought the watch so more annoying and hence only four stars. Apart from that very happy with the Tic Watch.
My girlfriend liked the watch, battery life could be better that’s was the only flaw
The battery life on this smartwatch is awesome, it lasted for 3 days. I don’t use it for exercise tracking but mainly for telling the time, heart rate oxygen levels and counting my steps. It also has G pay which I find really convenient when out shopping. There are many functions for sport tracking which seem very easy to use via the app. Swiping up and down, left and right is very smooth and quick with no lag. The watch itself is very light and sits nicely on the wrist. If you are looking for a reasonably priced smartwatch with loads of battery and functionality this could be the one for you.
Good smartwatch, but poor battery life.
I use it during working hours (6am – 6pm), and will last a day easily enough as I have the display setting as ‘tap to view’. The first time I used the watch I had it as ‘shake wrist to view’ and it was touch and go that the battery would last the day.
Would recommend this watch as a good buy for the price but don’t expect it to compare with more expensive models
I’m not new to the smart watch arena, this is the third smart watch I have now owned over quite a few years.
I decided to buy this watch to replace my (poorly built) Huawei Watch 2 on which the strap clasp has just broken in less than 18 months.
With such a range of smartwatches to choose from (and reading many positive reviews) I finally decided to go for the Ticwatch E3 — and I’m not disappointed with my choice.
The watch was very easy to setup and works flawlessly with my Samsung Note 10 (no compatibility issues were found).
The Ticwatch E3 ticks all of the boxes for me at a really great price:
I haven’t got very wide wrists, so I wanted a watch that didn’t look too bulky (but could also offer good battery life). The E3 sits on my wrist without looking huge and the battery lasts for the advertised two days. The watch feels very lightweight and comfortable (helped by the soft silicon strap).
The operating system seems very sleek and quick — no stuttering or lag is evident when the watch is in operation (amazing for such a cheap smartwatch). There’s quite a few standard watch faces to choose from and this is bolstered by a vast selection of additional faces on the Google app Store.
I found the two physical buttons on the watch are very tactile. The lower button can be reconfigured to your own personal choice. Out of the box the lower button functionality is set to activate workout modes, but I have reconfigured mine to take me to the stopwatch function (which I use a lot for cooking).
I have found the workout tracking very accurate and a breeze to use. There are twenty workout training modes to choose from (in the E3 ‘TicExercise’ app), the only issue that I have found is that the sport I play (squash) isn’t included in the list — but this isn’t a big issue as the benefit of using an Android based watch is you can also use the ‘Google Fit’ app (also included on the watch as standard) which includes many more sport modes (including squash). The heart rate monitor works very well (and seems accurate when compared to my home blood pressure monitors heartrate output). Having the blood saturation monitor is an extra added bonus that I can’t believe that they have managed to add into the sleek watch form (and at such a good price point).
The inbuilt speaker and microphone seem to work well — calls taken on my watch have been very crisp and clear. The speaker has a nifty application that can be used to vibrate water out of the watch if you have submerged it.
The Ticwatch E3’s screen is very bright and clear and seems to work well in brightly lit surroundings. I love the round watch form factor and I am pleased that the screen fills the whole area (I’m glad to say that there is No ‘flat tyre’ screen on the Ticwatch E3).
So far I love my Ticwatch E3 and am really pleased with my purchase.

Im using the watch for around 5 days now and I got to say, it’s an excellent watch .
– Feels very fast and fluid
– Sleep tracker
– Pulse and Oxygen tracker
– Good quality build
– Around one and a half days battery life at normal use (checking my notifications, calls and maybe weather and such)
– Water proof (you can wear it while swimming but honestly I didnt try it yet)
I also own a TicWatch Pro 3 GPS and they are basically the same watch in terms of specs. Besides the obvious, main differences between them are:
– E3 has a slightly smaller screen but frankly I barely notice it.
– Both have great build quality but PRO 3 feels a little bit more premium.
– PRO 3 has an always on screen over the main screen and you get more battery life (1.5 days for E3, 2.5-3 days for PRO 3). On both you can greatly extend the battery life if you switch to essential mode.
If you want a more premium feel, go for PRO 3. If you are on a budget but you still want a good quality watch, go for E3. Either way, you will get a great watch.
One more thing I want to add, for all those looking for their first smart watch: the 4100 processor (found in both E3 and PRO3) is the only processor found in Wear OS watches that competes with Apple watch in terms of responsiveness and overall how fluid it feels. If you choose this watch or go for another entirely, do not go below the 4100 processor.
Hope it helps.
Absolutely fantastic watch. So many functions at a great price. You can’t go wrong with this watch.
– Diseo elegante y no pesa nada.
Desventajas:
Which Should it Be – Review”.
yeah this was difficult upgrade question over my Pro 2020, but frankly the Black Friday deal was so good, I couldn’t resist. Specs are better than the Pro2020 of course, and I needed for my small wrist something lighter and less prominent. the E3 is certainly that and more future-proof of course when wear 3 is finally ready. the whole watch is definitely snappier and faster and responds more quickly. for things like opening apps and google assistant. the battery is slightly smaller but we will see how this plays out in usage. I can be a bit obsessive about battery and use Strava a lot for cycling. the Pro2020 needed a bit of husbanding so this will be an interesting comparison.
I miss the dual display on the Pro series but dare not use AOD, at least not yet. proper sleep tracking is another fascinating tool. bit concerned about some of the build quality but realistically these things only have a relatively short useful life before becoming outdated . main worry is robustness of the glass screen. speaker and microphone seem very good. vibration too.
i think it cost me 88 after sale of my Pro2020 so not too bad.
I’m not usually the type of person who spends a lot on their smartwatch. The Ticwatch E3 is affordable and offers many features that I love. The battery life is great, the size is small, and it’s got NFC capability which makes it easier to use when shopping without my purse or phone. The watch got auto sleep tracking and it’s very accurate. The battery life is amazing and it syncs really easily with my phone. I love the touchscreen and all the features it has for fitness tracking, too. For a budget smart watch, it’s one of the best I’ve found!
Great smartwatch with abundant features for an attractive price tag.
5 Stars Overall. I thought I would treat myself to this watch as an alternative to the GPS Pro 3. I feel this one looks more formal. I have been pleasantly surprised with the build quality and features given it’s the budget end.
Battery life has been great, even with getting tonnes of notifications during the working day from colleagues skype messages, emails and WhatsApp messages the battery lasts a good full 3 days before needing a charge. The screen is bright and easy to see, yes it doesn’t have the auto adjustment but it always appears crisp and clear. I like that it goes off/blank until you gesture or tap the screen.
I have used the watch for several runs to see how accurate the GPS is and it has been spot on, picking up the signal very quickly and tracking my exercise precisely. Along with expected HR results which seems to track better than my Pro 3.
It is slightly thicker than the Pro3 which at first I could feel the difference but after a day or 2 I now don’t notice this difference and it certainly doesn’t feel clumsy. It is very responsive and smooth. The default size of text is nice with leaving a good portion to view at a readable size.
The only negative that I can find is the screen is not gorilla glass so once I have finished this I will be straight over to find a screen protector as I don’t want to damage my new toy 😀
So if you have got this far into reading this review I can assure you that you will not be disappointed with this watch. At 179 its great value for money, and if its on offer click buy now…
For a watch that is badged as a budget or mid range watch, the E3 ticks a lot of boxes that some of the more premium devices fail to tick.
Battery life is fantastic, although given the device is new this should not be a surprise, but given the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor included you would expect this to take its toll on battery life yet so far I am getting an easy 2+ days before I even feel the need to “top it up”.
The display is nice and crisp and again the processor helps here making the menus slide smoothly and the responsiveness is excellent. My ONLY criticism in this regard is the slightly large bezel around the display, I personally prefer the bezel on my Tic Watch Pro 3 which just adds some nice detailing to the design but that does not detract from how good this display actually is.
Sleep tracking seems on par with what I have come to expect from TicWatch and the plethora of companion apps to track all sorts of health and fitness metrics to keep even the most picky fitness buff happy with all the tracking available. My only criticism with regards to sleep tracking would be the size of the watch, to sleep in is a little uncomfortable but once you are asleep who really cares.
The second button is programmable to open what ever app you want it to and the double click feature on the same button can be used to launch GooglePay which makes it a great and quick way to pay for things when out and about, again a feature which TicWatch are really taking form earlier models and simply refining to make it seem even easier. I know that is more of a software thing but if you don’t have the second button (like lots of these watches) you don’t even have the option.
Overall this watch gets a big THUMBS UP from me, as someone who has used several TicWatch variants over the last couple of years they have once again hit the mark with this watch! I am really looking forward to what Wear OS 3.0 has in store and if the rumours are correct this watch will receive that update albeit not till mid 2022.
This is my 3rd Ticwatch and I must say that I am not diappointed at all.
I started with the Ticwatch 2, then to the Ticwatch GTX Fitness Smartwatch and now Ticwatch E3 Smartwatch Wear OS by Google.
The Ticwatch E3 Smartwatch Wear OS by Google is sleek in design and very light weight.
The setup was very quick and easy to do. The screen is good, it is fully packed with various features and it is quite fast.
Battery life is very good as I have been using it for the last 3 days without a need to charge.
The strap is made of rubber which means exercising with it is not a problem. It fits well to my wrist and you will almost not know it is there as it is very light in weight but a heavyweight in features.
It monitors the heart rate, tracks my sleep pattern and help to manage stress.
It also is water proof, can be used for navigation and connects easily to the phone to make and receive calls.
All features work well in the time that I have had it and I have no complaints at all.
Another excellent and pocket friendly watch from Mobvoi.
OVERALL:
This is an entry-level smartwatch but with high performance and with Wear OS! I love and I would recommend it to all users that don’t have a budget or don’t want to spend over 200 pounds on this type of device. With this TicWtach E3 you can track all your training and receive the phone notification from your wrist. It has an accurate GPS, is waterproof, and has good battery life.
DESIGN:
Rounded with good material, not an iconic design, but really robust. The smartwatch is probably unisex and in fact, I have bought it for my partner. I found the case thick, but after some days, you will get used to it. Overall the design, for the price sold, is more than ok.
BATTERY:
I was not expecting to have a good battery life, but I have changed my mind after I used it for a week. if you are not a user that gets 400 notifications, the battery can last over a day. You can recharge in one hour and the battery will back to 100%. I think this is one of the kill features of this smartwatch at this price.
SCREEN:
A good screen visible under the sun is important and this watch has a great LCD. I have noticed that is missing the auto-brightness which is important if you use it over the sun or at night.
SPORT and FITNESS:
After I tried for more than a week, I have gifted to my partner that is obsessed with counting the burned calories, steps, and tracking any type of training. The ticWatch E3 works really well because you can monitor the heart rate or the oxygen level. From my point of view is a premium feature to a smartwatch. I compared the heart rate with my ticWatch pro 3 and they have the same accuracy.
PERFORMANCE:
Usually, I am not talking about the chip used, because for me is more important to understand the use and the experience. The ticWatch E3 uses a Snapdragon Wear 4100 and I am impressed how good is the response over the touch. No lag, no delay when touching the screen and the new chip helps to have better battery life.
PRICE:
I think the price is the second more important factor for this smartwatch. I don’t think you can have another watch with the same specification. I have bought it for 179 pounds but I have seen that for the Black Friday is around 140.. Basically is gifted.
I really like this watch. It’s small, it’s light, it’s compfortable to wear, and it’s lightning quick. It ticks all the boxes for the features that I want from a smartwatch and is very competitively priced. It’s also been confirmed that this watch is going to get Wear OS 3, which is something to look forward to.
The battery life is excellent. I have 24 hour heart rate and oxygen level monitoring enabled, plus the always-on display and it easily lasts 2 days. Even if that wasn’t enough, my watch would automatically go into Essential Mode when the battery hit 3%, even with the automatic switch disabled, and when it would, I could get about one more day of use.
Thanks to the Qualcomm processor it really is quick. There isn’t any delay with swipes and gestures making it a pleasure to navigate round, I’ve included a video of just how smooth it is. The top button opens the App drawer, this has two rows of apps and are easily tapped. You can configure these to be in any order you like, but the speed and smoothness of the scrolling makes it easy to use. I like having a programmable hardware button, I’ve set this to open Google Pay. I find it makes it easier at the checkout when paying with NFC as I’ve usually got something in my hands at that point. The best feature about the NFC payment is I only have to put my pattern in once when I put on the watch. Once it’s on my wrist, it stays unlocked.
The range of apps from Mobvoi is great, TicHealth, TicPulse, TicExercise, TicOxygen, TicSleep, TicZen, TicBreathe, TicHearing and TicCare. The TicHealth app gives an overview of the other apps, and links up with the Mobvoi app on my phone.
All in all, I’m very pleased with this phone, it really does pack a punch and I would definitely recommend it.
Quality wearable. Tracks multiple activities. Good battery life, battery charges quickly. Watch has GPS to map your activities and provide greater accuracy. Great value for money.
I am used to the TicWatch Pro 3, and this felt very familiar.
The UI is improved, and feels a lot snappier! I’ve had the watch for three weeks and have not had a single moment when it felt laggy. That is a great step up.
Battery life is around 2~3 days for me (I keep cinema mode engaged most of the time though to prevent unnecessary screen wake-ups), and that is pretty good – again comparable to the Pro.
Functionality is pretty comprehensive – HR, SpO2, and all the other things you would expect. I have not missed the lack of GPS at all.
This watch is super snappy. There are no delays in swiping from screen to screen or opening apps and it’s a joy to use.
The CPU is a Snapragon wear 4100 and it’s paired with 1 GB of RAM. Once you have a proper CPU and enough RAM, WearOS shines.
I have enabled sleep monitoring, 24h automatic background oxygen monitoring and TicMotion to auto recognize exercise. The battery still lasts 2+ workdays, just as advertised, with moderate to heavy use. I do use the Battery Saving Screen, which shows you date, time, steps and battery level. I think I prefer it this way rather than using the always on screen (you still have that option if you want it).
The LCD screen is crisp, has vibrant colours and good visibility indoor and outdoor. It does not have auto-brightness, but it does have a shortcut for changing it in the quick settings menu (swipe down menu). I have it set to level 2 and not once did I feel the need to change it. Your mileage may vary of course.
The design is minimalist, and I love it. The curved glass guides your finger when you swipe and it feels just right. It is raised a bit above the bezel and that might make it a bit more prone to scratching.
Google Pay works as expected as does the calling feature. The voice of the other party does come out a bit tinny, but it does the job.
This is a great watch and if the rumours are true (not sure if it’s official or not) that this watch will get the upgrade to WearOS 3, it makes it an even better deal.
I already own a TicWath Pro 3 GPS, which is built on much the same core, I love it and wear it 98% of the time, the other 2% being when I do activities that I choose not to subject any watch to, or when I opt to wear one of my traditional watches.
Now I guess I’ll be wearing it less as I’ll be using this as well.
Despite being only a couple of millimetres different in size to Pro 3, the E3 looks and feels smaller and sleeker on your wrist, though to be honest, feel isn’t the right word, because I simply didn’t notice it being there, either in weight or pressure on my wrist when bending my wrist or general every day living.
I don’t know why, because there isn’t a hug difference in basic shape, but the E3 looks a bit more dressy and less rugged than the Pro 3, maybe because of the thinner body around the glass?
With all features (GPS, sleep, 24 hour heart monitoring etc) turned on, I’m getting about 2 days of use. That includes 2-3 walks a day totalling 4-5 miles each, and on weekends where I can easily walk 8 miles in a single walk with the activity tracking recording there appears to be no difference in battery life. When it comes to charging, I have to confess I prefer the original charging plate of the original TicWatch over the latter attachment, but it works if your sensible, and charging time is pretty quick, I haven’t timed it, and to be honest I usually keep it topped up by charging while I’m having a shower or have taken the watch off for some other reason.
I find the speed of operation of the watch great, the listing of apps is near instant, chosen apps load in a second or 2. Use of the apps is great, screen changes smooth, responsive and reliable. I find typing on the screen hard, but that’s because I can’t get on with the swipe between letters on any device, including phones and tablets and fingers are a little on the “blunt” side to easily tap away. But to be honest, when I’m out and about walking I don’t care to keep in contact with the world, when I’m at home or general living I have my phone – which are you going to use to send a message, your watch (by any manufacturer) or your phone?
Step tracking, distance travelled, GPS tracking, height gain, calorie burn, heart rate, blood oxygen measurement etc are all as accurate as the Pro 3, which is as accurate my Fitbit was, and the phone, so short of purchasing other specialist equipment to confirm 4 different devices accuracy I can only assume it’s correct.
I don’t use watch app at all, facebook messenger rarely, I do use Outlook, Slack and Teams daily. Notification of emails, meetings, messages form facebook, Slack & Teams all come through to the watch reliably, in fact often they appear there before the PC I’m sat at! Personally I find audible alerts and alarms generally very annoying, so I normally have the sound turned off an rely upon the vibrate function. The vibrate for alarms every morning, and alerts for meetings, emails, texts, activity updates etc is physical enough that you can easily feel it, even if out slipping and sliding on rough terrain in pouring rain with a coat on covering the watch.
So to sum up after 2 weeks of wearing the E3 almost non stop… it’s a great looking, comfortable, reliable watch, that tracks your activity accurately, has useful battery life. It does everything you would expect from a Smart Watch, and costs less than other brands & models.
Would I buy it again? Yes
I didn’t think that a watch at this price range would be much good, but I was very pleasantly surprised. While light, the watch feel very well made and solid, the screen is great, it runs smoothly, and is very responsive thanks to the new snapdragon 4100.
This watch feels good on the wrist, and looks good too. Setting it up to sync to my phone was easy enough, and it about 15 minutes I had it up and running. It took me a few days to go through all of the features and decide which ones I wanted to use on a daily basis. Apart from the usual Google Wear apps, t;he ones that really shine are the Mobvoi health apps – great for a walk, a swim or a workout. Whatever your preferred form of exercise this one has it covered. Also very useful are the sleep tracking and heart rate monitors, potentially able to warn one of a condition before it gets serious!
All in all, this is an excellent, fully featured smartwatch, at an extremely reasonable price. I love it!
So light on your wrist – battery life great and the colour essential mode looks much better than the mono coloured older versio
Bought to replace my Ticwatch E. The watch strap fits better with more holes so now doesn’t slide around my wrist. The text is clearer and I like seeing my steps and heart points really easily on the home screen. Everything is much clearer and easier to access. I can find settings and all other apps and change them easily. I also like seeing photos which have been sent me in the watch notifications instead of just text.
The battery easily lasts a day and a half with the always on display enabled. I charge every evening and have never had the watch die on me before the end of the day. The new processor is fast and I have never had any issues with lag or stutter after the watch was set up.
Overall, I would highly recommend this watch to anyone who needs a good daily smart watch that doesn’t break the bank, but still has all the features you would expect from a high class smart watch.
I had the Ticwatch Pro 2020 before this and really enjoyed it, I have since passed that on to my Son as it’s still running well. I decided to go for the E3 due to the Snapdragon 4100 processor and I’m glad I did. Everything seems smoother and quicker, no lag whatsoever. Battery lasts way over a day, I normally charge it for half an hour when I come in of an evening and it lasts all night with the sleep tracking and all through the next day until I get home again.
I have read elsewhere that people have said the watch is bulky, I disagree. I don’t have particularly large wrists and it feels very comfotable to wear.
I’m also pleased that Google have announced that this is one of the few Wear OS watches that will get the upgrade to Wear OS 3.
I’ve also tested the IP68 rating and gone for a swim with the watch on which is awesome as I’m a regular kayaker and this is a must have for me.
Overall I’m extremely happy with the watch and have been impressed by the Ticwatch brand with my previous watch and Tic Buds which I also have got on very well with.
This is the second WearOS watch I’ve had that’s had the Snapdragon 4100. I had the TicWatch Pro 3 until I killed it at work. Apparently they are not boulder proof! My wife bought this for me as an anniversary gift. It was cheaper than the TicWatch Pro 3 by 110 so I wasn’t expecting a huge amount from it in terms of performance but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I would say the E3 performs just as well as the TicWatch Pro 3. There’s no lag on the software. It’s quick to respond. The shape of it reminds me of the Samsung Galaxy Active Watch 2 which I had before. I quite like the smooth edges. The strap is comfortable to wear. I’ve been wearing it for a week now and I hardly notice I’ve got it on. Mobvoi seem to be very good at making comfortable straps.
I’m getting about 1 days out of a full charge which isn’t bad. It doesn’t have the always on display like the TicWatch Pro 3 has but there’s a display screen that comes up when you lift the watch and it’s very responsive. This displays the date, time, steps, heart rate and battery. I don’t think this watch has fast charging but it does seem to charge quite fast. There’s an essential mode where you can cut down on battery usage and I’ve just realised you can set that up to turn on and off during the night so I’m going to use that and see if I can extend the battery usage to 2 days.
The screen isn’t an AMOLED but the quality of the screen is very good. I haven’t had any issues with it. I haven’t noticed any difference compared to my TicWatch Pro 3. I think because the software is very fluid it gives the impression that it’s a smooth experience.
I love having Google pay on the watch. The Samsung watch I had didn’t support my bank but Google pay does. It’s really handy. It works great on the E3.
You can also make and receive calls direct from the watch as well as using the Google assistant via the mic/speaker. You can respond to text messages and view messages and photos sent via messages directly on the watch.
Mobvoi have included some new sensors too. They have an SP02 sensor and Vo2 max.
All in all I’m very impressed with this watch. Considering the price it works really well and it’s one of the few watches that will work with the new WearOS 3 update.
The watch has a really big screen which helps when you are using it to reply to messages and read them too. It’s very fast and have had no issues with it.
I’m able to answer calls and control music via it as well as the NFC functionality works as well too.
Great watch from Ticwatch and a great improvement from the previous versions.
Bought as a present for a Miband owner and he is using this New one since I gave it to him, so it’s a good proof that he prefers the TicWatch.
It’s precission is good and the battery lasts forever, specially when plane mode is active.
I’m a confirmed Ticwatch and Wear OS fan. I already have a Ticwatch Pro LTE, and a Ticwatch 3 GPS and wanted to add a Ticwatch E3 to my collection as well (actually my son now has the Ticwatch Pro LTE and loves it).
After the usual charging for a couple of hours routine, it has a simple but stylish design and the watch is extremely lightweight in your hand/on the wrist which is fantastic.
The charger is easy to use, magnetic and has a nice feel to it. There is no charging plug included but that’s OK as I use several multi-way USB chargers so it connected to one of those without issue.
The E3 looks and feels very nice on my wrist, it has a simplicity to the design and of course with the user customisable watch faces you can make it look as funky as you like in use.
I love the strap design and it is very comfortable too which is a bonus. Having a standard 22mm strap fitment it is easy to swap out the strap if you fancy something different – but for now the strap that comes with suits me!
I found the Ticwatch E3 very straightforward to setup after powering it up the first time, I have the WearOS companion App installed on my Samsung Note so it didn’t take too long at all to get going.
I happily spent some time playing with the settings between the phone App and on screen on the watch itself to get things to my normal day to day setup (I like to keep things reasonably familiar to make operating the watch super easy and not needing any thought).
I have played with most of the standard watch faces that come with the E3 out of the box and of course loaded some new ones too, and have currently settled on the ‘Pujie Black’ watchface for now (purchased via the PlayStore at a very reasonable cost). I do tend to change faces regularly when I feel like a change
I rarely carry a wallet these days and use contactless payment for most things. Rather than use my phone or credit card it is great to use my Ticwatch to pay for most things. A quick double press on the lower of the two buttons and GooglePay is ready to use.
In terms of performance this watch is very responsive, clearly an attribute of the Snapdragon 4100 processor used with the latest version of WearOS, incidentally it seems that the Ticwatch E3 should get the next release of WearOS (version 3) too when Google release it which is reassuring in terms of some degree of future proofing and possible new features. So operation and recognition of swipes and navigation around the user interface is slick and speedy. The screen is as noted, large and very bright and clear to use.
Battery life is very good, charging takes less than two hours from empty to full and with most monitoring enabled at maximum level I achieve two days of use which is more than enough for me. I don’t use sleep tracking though I have tested it and it seemed to give accurate results – I just don’t like to wear a watch when sleeping.
Regarding the fitness apps built in and downloadable from the Play Store, I’d recommend sticking with the Mobvoi apps rather than Googles generic health apps in order to make maximum use of the hardware capabilities of the watch. I find myself frequently making use of all of the main functions – heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO2) levels, stress monitoring etc and have readings set to log every hour where possible.
Use for quickly reviewing messages (including graphic/photo content in messages from WhatsApp etc is brilliant – avoiding the need to pull your phone out to take a look and it is even possible to respond to messages very quickly and easily if required. I find the message vibration alerts work well and get your attention without too much fuss or audible feedback.
I installed Strava and linked to my account and tested on a few bike rides – using the Strava app to both start and end my rides – as soon as end of ride is confirmed, the full route appears on my phone in Strava ready to review or send out to any friends which is great.
Exercise detection seems to work well, I have tested running (in the gym on a treadmill), cycling (both in the gym and out on the open road), and also swimming (in the sea, yes it’s November and yes it was cold – but cold water swimming is a ‘thing’ now so I do this when dragged down there!). After sea swimming I did rinse the watch in freshwater and ran the speaker vibration mode to ‘push’ and water out of the speaker and mic holes to make sure all was well.
I’ve used my E3 to take and make calls – which when riding my bike with my phone in a rucksack was useful, sound and mic quality was pretty good and certainly serves it’s purpose.
I do find myself using the Google assistant to set timers and alarms when cooking or undertaking tasks that are time dependent, a long press on the top watch button and then say what you need – it works well and again saves having to pull out your phone to do the same.
Summary: A well priced, responsive and stylish Smart Watch with a large display and running the latest WearOS system and compatibility with the next generation WearOS planned for release towards the end of this year. I love it, I’d buy it again and yes I would recommend that anyone should seriously consider the Ticwatch E3 when looking for their next Smart Watch.
I have to say I had the first ticwatch and I also currently have the ticwatch pro2 and I was surprised to say this is as fast if not faster than my pro.
The battery is about the same I can get nearly two days out of it.
Looking at the watch you would think it’s made from metal but in fact it’s a premium polycarbonate frame allows for a durable and ultra-lightweight finish at the right price point. You wouldn’t know I don’t think that is wasn’t plastic looking at it or even to the touch without someone telling you it is.
It has a 24/7 heart rate and blood oxygen monitor that is great to have and you certainly don’t find the oxygen monitor on most watch’s in this price bracket.
Being wearOS you can use google
Pay – I’m yet to set this up but will be trying this out soon.
For watch faces I just like to use the “normal” clock faces but you f you want it has a good selection on the watch and if you want more you can download them straight to the phone via the wearOS app.
All in all I think this is a great watch for most people and has all the options you really need and could say I recommend it.
I find the charger a little iffy, watch had to be placed snug and tight, fully charged in 20 minutes or if done properly.
I know this brand since 2020 when I purchased my first one, and now in my family everybody wear a ticwatch.
I like about this, that it’s very elegant and light, it’s amazing the screen dpi and looks really sharp.
I love the design, and all the stuff I can do with it, such like: Walk, Kayak, Spinning and the best of all is I can use it also with my suit for work.
It’s an amazing brand and watch and I recommend it!
For a smart watch under 200, this watch packs a punch. I also own a TicWatch Pro 3 GPS (Which is a fantastic bit of kit) and was hoping the E3 would be a good watch for my partner. I was expecting the E3 to be noticeably inferior, surprisingly however, you get a lot of watch for your money.
Starting with looks it is sleek and attractive looking. My partner has slender wrists and this looks good on her wrists. I have eczema and sensitive skin but a day’s continuous wear was comfortable with no irritation.
Under moderate use it feels very snappy and responsive. There is only a slight lag in calculating my heart rate and although perhaps gimmicky I do quite like the oxygen saturation monitor (which can be a useful feature particularly in these COVID days!). The step count matched my phone step counter and dare I say found it more accurate than my TWP3 GPS. The native mobvoi apps are user friendly, informative and well laid out particularly in relation to fitness.
The screen colours are vibrant and it is a joy to hold my wrist up and see the colours come alive when giving me information about the time my step count. It lacks the secondary overlay screen that other models have (which is a very useful battery saving feature), however the battery life was pretty good. Under moderate use I managed to squeeze 2 days worth of use from it.
I would recommend this watch to someone who is looking for a snappy, feature packed and good looking watch in the under 200 bracket without hesitation.
I will say this is one of the best budget smart watches that has got premium features. It is really worth more than the price. I have used 3 premium watches for the past 5 years including ticwatch pro 3 LTE but Ticwatch E3 almost matches them in terms features such as oxygen monitor, stress and sleep tracking, clear voice call with excellent microphone and speaker, good GPS, ticmotion( very sensitive to detect specific type of excercise especially when walking, running, swimming and cycling). I have worn it to swim for 30 minutes with no issue at all. The watch is user friendly and No regret at all.
I’m 66 years of age and this is the most pleased with any watch I’ve ever bought. Admittedly because I’ve loaded the ‘faces’ app and love creating my own dials. I haven’t got round to using all of the watches capabilities only making use of the sleep tracking – which I’d say is pretty accurate. I would say if you can get any sort of discount – as I did – buy it.
Really good watch. Great that it runs Wear OS, very easy to use and sync to my phone. I’ve had the E2 for awhile and there is a definite improvement on the battery life. It easily lasts a few days, including a daily workout. Sleep tracking works well and the alarm does a good job of waking me up in the morning.
Great watch, purchased for my dad. He loves it’s feature finds it easy to use and it’s built well, he says the fitness tracking helps to push himself further. It looks smart on the wrist whilst not standing out, the performance is miles better than other smart watches I’ve had. The screen isn’t oled but is still bright so no complaints there
Mobvoi TicWatch E3 Review:
Note: TicWatch E3 provided by Mobvoi for review, I do not have to return the product and all thoughts on the TicWatch E3 are my own.
First Impressions:
A very light smartwatch with a soft flexible silicone strap with plenty of adjustment. Quite a large watch overall, so definitely not an easy wear for those with small wrists and the thick profile makes the smartwatch hard to wear with shirts.
Design:
At 45mm in diameter and 10mm thick (my rough measurements) the TicWatch E3 is a big smartwatch. But this is nothing new in the smartwatch space and with all the features the E3 packs it’s perfectly acceptable and you will get used to it very quick. The overall look is understated with the dark grey colour and the watch is so light you barely know it’s on your wrist.
Display:
The product shots you see online do make the watch bezel look very slim however on first start up that wasn’t the case however at 0.4mm thick it’s nothing to get bothered about and helps prevent accidental swipes and gesture inputs. My only complaint is that the display isn’t OLED, despite this the colours are vibrant and the black are fairly deep even with the always on display enabled.
Battery life:
For my light usage the TicWatch E3 can easily get me through 2 days of use and that’s even with the always on display enabled, the 24-hour heart rate monitor and many of the other sensors. For those who like to have the screen brightness turned to max and have a bit more use of their smartwatch, I think you could comfortably get through a full day’s use.
By the end of my day, I’m still on around 20 — 30% which is enough for me to make use of while I track my sleep and in the morning before leaving for work, I can get from 20% to 60% is about 30 minutes.
The E3 uses a 4-prong magnetic connector and it’s fairly strong and accurate when connecting and I haven’t noticed any sudden warmup while charging.
Performance:
I’ve own a few TicWatch models of the years and this is by far the most responsive one to date. At the beginning I had maybe 1 or 2 stutters swiping between apps and I did have the E3 freeze on me after receiving a notification, but since receiving a few updates I’ve not noticed any performance issues.
Tracking:
The TicWatch E3 has a lot of different sensors and I’ve not even touched the surface on everything this device has to offer however my experiences with the auto sleep detect have been great and the results have been comparable to what I’ve seen from my other sleep tracking devices. The auto exercise detection is nice, but it has misread my random bursts of speed walking and running up the stairs as me starting an exercise.
App:
The Mobvoi companion app has a great UI and is very easy to navigate and visualise all the data that the E3 is able to collect. I initially had an issue with the watch not uploading my outdoor run, but after a few google play store updates this thankfully hasn’t happened for me.
Final thoughts:
Overall, I’ve really enjoyed using the TicWatch E3. I like the clean understated look, the lightweight build and comfortable soft silicone strap, though my preference is more a mesh bracelet or nylon strap due to my tiny wrists, which thankfully on the E3 is an easy thing to change thanks to the more common 20mm lug width and quick release spring bars.
If you haven’t used a WearOS smartwatch for a while and are still on the edge about them from your previous experiences I feel like the TicWatch E3 could be the one that gets you liking them again and with the promised upgrade to the next major release of WearOS at least you know your smartwatch investment won’t be considered out of date within the next 6 months of ownership and you’ll get to enjoy and whole new and improved experience of Google’s WearOS.
I am the previous owner of the TicWatch Pro 3 GPS which is an amazing watch but is nearly double the price of this watch. So moving to this watch was interesting.
You must remember this watch is considerably cheaper than the other tickwatches, with that in mind its an incredibly good smart watch and does EVERYTHING you would expect it to and more with a very healthy battery life.
Images: Watch on the left is the E3 watch one on the right is the Pro 3
What it does well:
– The System UI, apps and functions are smooth as butter, you can really tell the internals run very very well and can run anything you throw at it.
– Battery life is impressive for how good the specs are and what it can do and LCD screen that does not have the dual display found on the 3 pro. Very impressive.
– It has a cool colour essentials mode that really does expand the battery life.
– Smaller form factor and much more professional finish.
– 24 HR detection is cool and works well as well as integrating with google fit
– Sleep monitoring is impressive and is able to show the different mode of sleep you had been through.
– Google pay is awesome and works well with an app shortcut.
– Waterproof and great swimming modes!
What you looks due to the lower price:
– Battery life is good but not as good as its double the price brother pro 3 (as expected)
– The LCD screen has a huge bezel which I do not really like.
– The contract on the LCD screen is not as good as its brother the pro 3 and the contrast is not as good.
– Its quite a thick watch but its still a good size considering the internals and battery it packs.
– I am not a fan of where the charge port has been moved to, if you flip it over it’s now at the top of the back which makes it easier to accidentally disconnect when moved.
– You obviously do not get the battery saving dual screen which I quite like (but your buying a watch that is less than half the price).
Love the watches health and fitness tracking features – I seem to have to charge the watch regularly every day but once used to this it’s not an issue – good value watch !

CONFEZIONE /
– n.1 E3
– n.1 cinturino completo 20 mm
– n.1 cavo di ricarica magnetico
– n.1 manuale di istruzioni

This would be the 4th smartwatch I’ve owned
I’m coming from budget watches like the Amazfit and more recent higher end watches like the Huawei GT 2
I will compare this watch to the GT 2 since it was the last watch I owned in the same range.
First of the watch capability is superb and I seriously feel there’s not much this watch couldn’t do. The ability to record, call, text amongst other things, means that at time i don’t even need to take out my phone
It’s running Watch OS 3 and is one of the watches that will be in line for the latest OS once available.
The weakest part of the watch is probably the battery life and design. It does sit a bit bulky on the wrist and lacks that sleeker finish that the Huawei GT has.
All in all it’s a superb watch at a reasonable price. Would strongly recommend
(I’m using a custom strap which is why it looks different)
I’m a big ticwatch fan. Once more they have come up with a great watch. Battery improved from previous models. Lots of health features including heart rate oxygen and sleep tracking. Can compete with Samsung and apple at a fraction of the price.
Maybe I’m doing something wrong but the tracking of exercise and sleep is, at best, intermittent. I haven’t worked out why this is happening. When it does track it’s accurate, but on most days I have zero data recorded. I expect I’m at fault here.
The watch is so much faster than the previous one I had, it’s a joy to use.
I took a call on it recently and the caller said I was perfectly clear, it was the same on my end.
7/10 so far but will be better when I find out how to keep the tracking working.
I’ve had tonnes of Wear OS watches searching for the best & I think I have found a very close 2nd to the Ticwatch Pro 3 GPS but given the price difference can be forgiven.
Design
The Ticwatch E3 has a great design which looks elegant enough to wear with formal wear & casual enough to wear to the gym.
Performance
Smooth interactions & scrolling reminds you that you are wearing flagship specifications. The Ticwatch E3 uses the Snapdragon 4100 processor which is currently the best available for Wear OS.
Battery
It’s great to have a real SmartWatch that last all Day & Night to enable proper sleep tracking with additional batter power to spare. There is a low power display which helps to extend the life of the battery.
Extended Features includes:
24 hour heart tracking.
Sleep tracking.
Blood oxygen tracking.
NFC for Google Pay.
Waterproof for Swimming pools.
Mic & speaker to allow voice calls or Google Assistant.
Essential mode which puts the watch into an extra low powered state whilst allowing sleep tracking, step counting & time for multiple day (I think 45 days is quoted, I’ve used it for 7 days from 100% & still ended up with 83%).
Essential mode can also be timed which I use between 00:45 & 06:00 leaving me to charge the Ticwatch E3 twice a week.
Great product in my opinion.
He usado el NFC y funciona perfecto.
I wanted to replace my old Huawei watch sport 2 because it’s not going to be updated to the latest wear os version and also I wanted a more up to date internals and functions. All of them have been satisfied by the ticwatch. What I don’t like is the LCD screen instead of an AMOLED one. It definitely feels cheap even coming from the sport 2 but it seems durable enough and like the title says, it’ll do for now.
Superbe montre connecte.
I love this watch, easy to use, I can’t use the sleep as the battery life is so low, soon as it’s turned on it drops by 2%, with not touching or getting notifications by midmorning it’s on 68%. If you are looking for a long life battery this isn’t the watch for you.
Otherwise I like it.
his is a great smart watch very accurate tracking and love google pay contactless payment ,only small problem battery life you have to charge every day ,though i think thats the same with most smart watches.
I very like the design of this smartwatch, it’s classic and metallic feel. It’s comfortable to wear for sleeping which could help me to track my sleep. It’s nice to have a small magnetic charger, no plug is needed. It only takes less than 2 hours to completely charge. The battery lasts for two days.
It’s very easy to set up by following the instruction. This smartwatch has a great performance, it’s helping me track my sleep, monitoring my health. It also has an onboard mic and speaker which you can use to answer calls from your wrist which is useful. The GPS works well, it’s helping to track my work out and the distance monitoring is accurate.
Overall, it’s a great watch at a reasonable price and I definitely recommend this one !!!
The first one I received broke within 4 hours of turning it on. It wouldn’t turn on and would just buzz when I put it on charge. I sent it back the same day and received a new one the next day. It’s not very accurate and keeps thinking I have slept at random times throughout the day, but it’s pretty good otherwise. I can link up many different apps to help with structuring my work day and they (mostly) all work as intended. The strap caused a bad reaction on my skin – leathery and sore patches all around my wrist despite treating the area – and I’m having to buy a fabric replacement strap from another seller. I wish they’d add different strap types instead of just the silicone/rubbery one. The volume on alarms is pretty good, but the quality of calls is pretty bad. It’s battery life varies, but I can usually go a full 24hrs without having to charge it, sometimes a little longer depending on use. Overall, it’s okay, no major issues with the replacement watch performance.
Vorteile:
Dank Snapdragon Wear 4100 Prozessor zukunftssicher (fr das neue Wear OS Update)
Relativ leicht (48g)
Neuste Technik (mehr geht kaum)
Gute Funktionen wie die automatische Sporterkennung
Volle Google Untersttzung (Sprachassistenten — Text diktieren — Playstore — Wear-OS Updates)
I received this watch as a birthday gift and what a surprise it was. The watch was packaged nicely in the box with the manual and the charger. The watch came with some charge on it which was great and so I stuck it on.
I was amazed by how clear and bright the screen was. It was really fluid moving between different apps and every app opened up really quickly. I was able to go onto the Google store on the watch and download some different apps that I use often like Spotify etc.
As a fitness tracker it’s great and the Mobvoi companion app allows you to link your data to Google Fit which is great and I can track my workouts using the onboard GPS. It also has a microphone and speaker which allow you to answer calls on the watch which is great for me and the speaker is also very loud and crisp.
I wear this to track my sleep and it is not heavy or does not dig into me during the night. It is cool to see my different stages of sleep and I have been able to track when I fall asleep etc.
The body monitors on the E3 are also brilliant and I can track my heart rate, O2 levels and also my stress which is good. There is also an onboard app which takes you through some breathing exercises which is good if you need to calm down.
This is a great watch and at this price is a steal and I recommend to anyone and everyone.
This is a brilliant watch, and a small form factor. In my pics you can see i have larger wrists but it is still comfy and still looks good on my arm! I also have the Ticwatch Pro 3 GPS and both watches have the Snapdragon 4100 which makes it amazingly quick and fluid, especially flicking through your apps.
The E3 also has a GPS which is great for tracking your workout and used in conjunction with either the Mobvoi companion app or Google Fit it can be really good for weight loss etc. It also has NFC capability and allows you to use Google pay which is brilliant.
As it is a Wear OS app you obviously have access to a vast amount of apps and one in particular which I like allows me to use my Tesco Clubcard on my wrist. The E3’s processor allows me to bring it up really quickly which is amazing.
Due to its smaller form factor, it makes it comfortable to sleep with if you want to track your sleep. It also has an onboard mic and speaker which you can use to answer calls from your wrist which is really useful .
All in all, it is a great watch and is really fairly priced and is a lot of bang for your buck!
To be honest, I didn’t have super high expectation when I bought it. A friend of mine recommend to me. I need a sport companion and it’s price is very attractive. When I received it, I was surprised by how it looks! It is matching my old Apple Watch by any means! So sophisticated and well made in every single details! After a few days of use, it never lets me down! Fast, very clear screen, sensitive for touch; long battery life ( I can use it for whole day anyway). It packs in many smartwatch features. I like the health tracking app! Super useful. And thanks to Wear OS, many other features like notifications, Google Assistant and Google Pay. These are all easy to navigate thanks to a large display — it’s just a shame it’s LCD, not OLED. Of course, with this price, it is already very good value for money! I am very happy with it! 😉
The watch has a simple minimalist style. The watch body is made of plastic. The watch has rubber straps, which feels very nice and comfortable around the wrist. The LCD touch screen display is bright. Some people might not like the style, as this is a chunky watch with thick bezel around the display but because it is very lightweight, comfortable to wear and has a good touch experience, I soon stopped noticing it. I like the two push buttons on the watch, it is gives you quick access to apps and settings options. The bottom Push button can also be customised to access any app of choice. The watch also has a mic and speaker holes for google assistance and for making phone calls via Bluetooth connection to your phone. It does not have a E sim. The sound quality from watch speakers is nice and clear.
The built-in apps for heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring works very well. The watch sensors been giving me a good consistent reading. It also does all the health and fitness tracking you could want.
With all of the sensors set to run 24-hours, always-on display, and sleep tracking, I was able to get about a day and a half between charges. To help with extending battery life, you also have essential mode feature, which disables many power-hungry features, making the watch last for days/weeks. This mode automatically kicks in when battery hits below 5%. In this mode, the smartwatch continues to count the steps, measure the heart rate, and monitor sleep.
I’ve been using the Ticwatch E3 SmartWatch for about a month now and I have to say, I am very impressed with its smooth performance and battery life. However, if you can afford to pay a little extra money, I will advise to get the Ticwatch pro 3, you’ll get a watch made from better materials, an Amoled display, bigger battery and it also has the latest snapdragon 4100 processor.
This is a pretty decent little all round smart watch! If you’re looking for a midrange smartwatch packed full of features then I would definitely recommend it. With the watch running Wear OS this opens you up to a world of different apps that can all be used with or without your smartphone.
To wear it’s a very comfortable watch and felt a lot lighter on the wrist than i was expecting! The battery easily lasts 24 hours, so you do need to charge daily, but I find I do this when I get ready in the morning or whilst just sitting at my desk during the day. I even took this on a 2 hour ride, tracking on strava and it didn’t affect the battery at all. I compared the tracking to my Garmin Instinct and they were basically identical, so no complaints there at all! All the other tracking such as sleep, heart rate, oxygen etc are all fun additions too, the only issue i found was that i needed to set them all to track when i first got the watch up and running, but this was a one time thing.
I have also owned the ticwatch 2 and the E2 and this is a huge improvement on them both!
All in all if you’re looking for a smartwatch I would definitely recommend this one!
Hola!
The delivery speed is faster than expected.
A nice elegant smartwatch and easy to setup for use. Multiple language support and great to choose the watch face. Lots of different functions for me to explore. Good value for such useful smartwatch.
I’ve had apple watches for years but have moved to a Samsung s21 ultra, waited for the Samsung watch 4 but it’ll be 489 pounds so went for the new qallcom 4100s chip in the ticwatch e3..
It’s a great watch and unlike the apple watch it lasts a good 3 days including sleep tracking. Also it.syncs very well with Google fit which my Fitbit charge 4 didn’t do.
Very fast menu, great mobvoi app and I’ve replaced most of the apps with Google wear os versions. The strap was only ten pounds on Amazon and looks better than the black one that comes with.
Great all round watch and water proof for kayaking etc. Looks great and simple too!
Very happy!
Also durchaus krtige Nutzung. Also bevor man komplett ohne Uhr da steht, vergehen dann doch 2,5 Tage.
Bello, semplice, fluido e reattivo…. Consigliatissimo!
This smartwatch has a great performance. The processor and memory are the same of the flagship TicWatch. Perfect option for those who are not looking for a watch in stainless steel and with more advanced sensors, included in the Pro model. It is really easy to set up and connect to the phone. The magnetic charger has a similar size of a standard USB cable. The watch completely charges in less than 2 hours. The GPS works very well and the speed and distance monitoring is also accurate. In general, the health and sports monitoring sensors do their job and are quite useful. It is also great to have a colored screen in Essential mode. I am really happy with this purchase.
Minpunten:
– Batterijduur wanneer in smart mode.
This is the younger brother of TicWatch Pro 3 GPS with same hardware except the dual display and with a smaller battery (that makes it feel lighter actually) that lasts 1 day and a half in my case. If you are willing to skip the premium features like the AMOLED — LCD display (Gorilla glass) for the LCD (Glass fibre) rounded edge display (with smaller resolution) and to swap the posh strap for a black (comfortable though) silicone one while the case of the watch has a nice gun metal like colour (polycarbonate) while saving about 100 this is the right choice. I can confirm that the Qualcomm Snapdragon wear 4100 processor does a good job as the watch is snappy, so responsive with whatever you ask and provided you are connected to a fast speed internet, the assistants Alexa and Google Assistant (default) are prompt to reply. I like it a lot and because one of the reasons I bought is that I can’t wear my phone in my pocket all the time at work so it is nice to be able to answer from my wrist to the phone calls and the messages I receive on my phone while monitoring other notifications as well and I noticed that the letters on the display are slightly larger than on the Pro 3 GPS version making it even more easy to read even emails if I install Outlook on my watch. The GPS locks fast and I like that it can be used with Google Maps watch App. Another feature that I like is the NFC sensor that allows me to use Google Pay with this watch. I like the sensors that come with it, particularly the SpO2 one although I use the heart / pulse sensor as well that come very handy when tracking my sleep. The Mobvoi Sleep App seems to be improved (update/fix) but now I am addicted to Sleep as Android App and actually this watch helps monitoring the Heart Rate Variability with the above version App. For the people that still think that the TicSleep App has not been improved a lot, that is a nice alternative. Anyway, this is a Smart Wearable not a medical device. and I am happy with my E3 watch the way it is. In the pictures above one can see both E3 (left side) and Pro 3 GPS version (right side) – multiple watch faces also available to download either from Mobvoi or Google Play Store. In the example above for sleep monitoring I used Sleep as Android App.
A mejorar:
Very fast, sleek and well made smart watch. Especially for the retail price.
Wear OS is still a some way from being great and that lets it down slightly but as far as hardware goes it’s a great offering, at the price point. Hopefully the wear OS change with the upcoming release (which this watch will get) will improve matters.
Thankfully the Mobvoi baked in apps make up for what’s missing with Wear OS…..
sleep tracking app is really good and found the results very accurate (and near enough the exact same as my Galaxy watch 3).
Exercise wise it was also very good, however the HR took a minute or so after starting to settle down and after that was pretty accurate (again not that far off the galaxy watch 3).
Considering this has just been launched, and will receive many an update to iron out the small blips. Can see this being a great buy in the long run.
Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi:802.11b/g/n
Aggiorner man mano che ci saranno ulteriori considerazioni.
Mettetelo in carica.
I have already had an older ticwatch Pro and this is a nice upgrade. It’s lightweight but the watch interface is still big. It has a modern looking rubber strap which I prefer compared to the leather strap I used to have with the other one. It’s great for tracking sport and this one tracks the sleep cycles as well. A big win is the water resistance, now I don’t need to remove before swimming. If you appreciate clean android wearable devices, this one is a good choice
This is my opinion about the device:
Design: It doesn’t have any luxury material, but the plastic makes it feel light and asking several people around me, they see it nice, I have tested its resistance inside a pool, and all correct.
Processor: I think the most outstanding section of the watch, it feels fast, light and everything responds well.
Battery: With my use (I did the tests, making a couple of 5 minute calls, with the brightness at medium level, reading notifications and with the options of oxygen and pulse records activated), with that configuration the battery behaved as follows:
DAY 1
9:00 = 100%
18:00 = 75%
DAY 2
9:00 = 27 %
17:25 = 0 %
Software: Here different sensations, the default clock options work well, largely thanks to the processor, on the other hand, lacking to solve several translations of both the app and some clock options (as in time), I also noticed certain errors in the implementation of the Google assistant, comment that during my tests the watch was updated a couple of times, so it seems that they are giving support.
Display: Here I had a clear prejudice, not being amoled I thought it would look bad, but it is not so ,the screen has quality and looks good in full sun (I have put an example photo), it is clear that it would have been a plus to have amoled screen and automatic brightness, still , satisfied with this section.
Overall Opinion: I think it is a good device, it is clear that it would have bordered on perfection with an amoled screen, automatic brightness and more premium materials, but I felt comfortable with the device and I think if they are improving something the software is a recommended purchase.
I have moved to the Ticwatch E3 from the Ticwatch Pro. The fact that it’s my 2nd Ticwatch tells you that I think the brand is great in the first instance.
I went for the new one as I wanted the lifestyle monitoring – things like stress monitoring, breathing aid, sleep monitoring etc aswell as the usual fitness tracking.
The user interface is now silky smooth, there is no delay when you swipe, scroll or start an app – it just works beautifully.
The screen seems more vibrant and the text all looks clearer. Think the resolution must be a little lower than the Pro.
There is now a 2nd button on the Ticwatch, like my Pro had, which is great news. Pressing this brings up your fitness apps.
The magnetic charger has been shrunk right down which is nice – no plug is included which is a good thing, we all have hundreds of these things now, so good to see another one not being wasted.
The stretchy rubber strap is more comfortable than my Pro strap, meaning training with it on is a dream, it feels wonderfully light on your wrist too, I often forget it’s there.
Another biggy – battery life. I’ve had it on for 3 days, properly using it aswell, with bluetooth on and it’s still going. My Pro would need charging at the end of every day.
Sleep monitoring is superb – after a nights sleep it will tell me how long I’ve slept, how long I was in REM, Light sleep, Deep sleep and waking. On top of that it shows me what my heart rate was doing throughout and even my blood oxygen levels – fantastic! It then gives you a text based roundup of what your sleep has been.
Particularly like the TicZen app which tells me when I’m showing signs of stress and then fires up the TiCbreathe app which provides you instructions on how to breath to calm yourself – sounds like something you should just know how to do yourself right? But having the instructions come up on screen which you then follow really works.
It’s got the usual barrage of Google Fit options, workout options which you choose from based on what you’re doing, I don’t remember seeing HiiT before though, so think that must be new (though not something I’m in any shape for yet!!) You can now set it up for interval training which is VERY useful.
I love that it measures the hours where you’ve been stood up and move around in the day, as a way of shaming you to get off that sofa, however it does unfortunately not show you the floors you’ve climbed (as someone who counts up and down stairs normally, this was a bit of a loss)
I’ve not yet seen “essential” mode kick in, which happens when you’re down to the last 5% of your battery, and switches off all bar the essentials automatically – a great feature.
The speaker on it is comparable to my Pro, obviously not gonna make your music sound good but certainly good enough for a phonecall or the google assistant.
I’ve no real negatives to say about it. I miss the the always-on 2nd screen of the pro, I miss the automatic light adjustment of the screen which was handy when riding a bike, I miss the altimeter – but these are Pro features and I know that.
I believe it’s meant to have GPS but I can’t seem to get that to work without my phone, so I’m not sure on that.
Things I’d change – I’d like to be able to repurpose the swipe right as it’s fixed to Google Assistant which I personally never use.

Summary overall :
BUY IT – It’s a fantastic watch.
It’s light, it’s comfortable, it’s smooth as silk to use, it has fantastic features – all round winner.
Was will man mehr?
Leistung:
In alternativa comunque potete usare Google fit.
I have this smartwatch for few days now and I love it!
Came in a really nice box and it was really easy to set it up!
It offers a lot of great features like sleep monitoring, heart measurement, exercise tracking, step tracker. All of these features are really accurate and I am really satisfied with all of them.
In terms of battery, I’ve been using this with all the monitoring features on all the time and it lasts around a day. However, you can turn on the efficiency mode on which will save a lot of battery and last longer.
Last thing to mention is that mobvoi app is pretty cool, really easy to to navigate and find monitoring and tracking information for the day or for previous days.
Gps preciso, battito cardiaco e SpO2 perfetti
Consiglio vivamente l’acquisto a tutti
Positiv:
* Schlaftracking: Einfach sagenhaft!* 24h Herzfrequenzmessung
* Alle anderen, unzhligen Features wie Google Pay, Spotify… – super durchdacht und ich verwende sie regelmig.
* Schrittzhler sehr akkurat – im Gegensatz zu Samsung.
* Arbeitstempo 1a. Keine Ruckler, keine Verzgerungen dank Qualcomm 4100 Prozessor.
Fazit:Unglaublich gute Uhr. Fr mich DIE Smartwatch! Was man hier fr sein Geld bekommt ist echt top.
What an absolutely stunning watch. With a lesser obvious bezel than previous TicWatches, this has a very sleek design. The Snapgradon 4100 processor makes this watch VERY fluid and sleek.
I am in love with this, its replaced my Ticwatch Pro S for every reason!
Thanks!
I was saving up for the Ticwatch Pro 3 GPS and am so glad this watch was released by Mobvoi. It has all the functionalities at an affordable price.
It came quick within 2 days of ordering in a nice small package. Easy to set up straight out of the box. I was eager to try it out immediately, it fits snuggly on my small wrist.
I am amazed how fast and smooth the watch is performing with the latest snapdragon wear 4100. There is enough space for the apps to work flawlessly with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM.
The battery easily lasts me all day with normal usage, it’s convenient to quickly answer calls and read messages while on the go. Also I can now pay directly without getting my wallet or cards out.
You will not be disappointed with your purchase. I had a few questions before purchasing and Mobvoi were very quick to respond to my enquiries.
I was looking to replace my old Huawei Watch 2 as the heart rate monitoring gave up. I actually bought the E2 as it was on sale for only 70 , but from day 1 I regretted as it was very slow, and kept freezing as I was trying to set it up. I decided I would return it when this dropped last week and buy one of these; despite it being 100 more the feature increase seemed worth it.
The battery is better, although it is in that awkward not quite good enough for 2 days so you have to charge it part way through the day which defeats the point. This is with AOD off, a fairly minimal face, essential mode, from 1200-0700 and brightness set to 2. Brightness on minimum is fine indoors, but unusable outdoors.
The way the watch runs is MUCH better than the E2, and better than the Huawei Watch 2 I had prior. Everything is silky smooth, 0 hitches or stutters. The SD 4100 really makes a difference.
Looks wise, despite the rather large bezel, it is a quite nice looking watch. It is simple, and not cheap looking, despite being polycarbonate.
The strap is quite nice too, not super bulky like the one on the E2, but straps are of course extremely easy to swap out.
The suite of sensors and exercise tracking all works very well for my purpose, but I do not know if it works for the super fitness folk (I am merely not one of them).
Overall a very nice, mid-range WearOS smart watch, that may or may not get updated to WearOS3
