Ottimo navigatore, ma per quanto riguarda i percorsi per camion di grandi dimensioni gli do un’affidabilit del 85%, consiglio di visionare il percorso prima del viaggio e non seguirlo a occhi chiusi, come detto in linea di massima affidabile ma alcune volte conviene fargli cercare il percorso alternativo e seguire la seconda opzione.
Sat nav is 2nd best to the latest model but this one for the price is a better choice for the price difference to the 6250 . Bought brand new off Amazon happy overall but came with Marks on screen like it was a referbished one….. shown in picture just taken out of box to do the update and connect WiFi to discover the marks , with the return policy I’d rather leave it , but not happy with marks apart from that 10/10

El navegador se corresponde perfectamente con la descripcin del vendedor, se ve un navegador de calidad y funciona a la perfeccin, cumple con creces sus funciones, una vez puestas las medidas del camin te lleva por donde tienes y puedes ir y una vez llegado a tu destino si el camin no puede pasar te avisa y te da la alternativa para que termines el recorrido a pie.

When you open the packaging and hold it you realise that it’s well made. The unit detaches from the holder rather than having to take the whole thing off the screen. It sucks power so have a constant connection. Traffic information is good, even alerting you of roadworks and temporary closures- when it’s working! Now and again traffic data goes offline. I’m a coach driver and work a lot in London and the unit plots a route based on the traffic information it receives. If traffic information isn’t coming in and you work in a city like this the effectiveness of it is severely compromised. However, It will get you there regardless and take into account the size of the vehicle you have. A couple of turns have been dubious but that’s London for you!
A couple of niggles, despite entering bus details it seems obsessed with HGV weight restrictions and plots a route accordingly, sending you a greater distance when you didn’t really need to. Also it doesn’t seem to acknowledge bus lanes when it plans a route. Reroutes you quickly (although it does sometimes ask you to U turn, as if!) Despite this it’s a great investment and it hasn’t let me down disastrously. But Tom Tom must endeavour to supply traffic updates consistently instead of an ‘unavailable, try later’ message. It’s the live information that makes this a gem worth having.
This product is useful for any professional driver giving more detail than those for cars.
Very good for trucks. Not so good cuz you need to pay for live traffic once a year. Garmin has it for free. It rarely crashes but you can count on him.

I bought this to use as a HGV driver because it can be programmed with vehicle specific restrictions, but I haven’t had a job using it yet-most vehicles have them built in. I have used it in my car, though, and it’s a brilliant bit of kit, always updating its info-it even diverted me away from a road traffic accident that had happened twenty-odd minutes before but which hadn’t even been announced on the local news.
Expensive but, in this case, you definitely get what you pay for.

I wanted a satnav for use in my Motorhome. Larger display and working with length, height, width and weight limits. After 3 months regular use I’ve not had any problems, and it HAS certainly avoided width limits I know about on my regular journeys.

Voice commands are tricky due to the noise of the lorry engine I would assume, if you are using an android phone you will need a fairly new one as mine didn’t work with android 4.1.1.
If you plan on using it as soon as you get it be warned it will take almost 24 hours to update over wifi.

I wanted a satnav that also takes into account of the size of my vehicle, as I regulary tow a caravan, and it is important that I can take account of driving on roads that are suitable for this.
It is well made and versatile and the new facility that allows the satnav to update itself on my drive or while travelling, which means that the satnav is always up to date.
I haven’t yet used it but if it does what it says it will be fantastic.

HGV DRIVER
Like any sat nav, don’t 100% rely on it as it’s only as good as the maps data, but if you drive an HGV especially doing multidrop this really is a good investment. Oh and don’t be fooled by these brands with built in TV, dashcam etc – it’s best to have one that does a single job and does it well.
This is the “TomTom GO Professional 6200 SAT NAV” which is designed for larger vehicles such as trucks, buses and vans. It is the perfect example that serves to prove that not all GPS units are created equal…
It features updates via Wi-Fi and can log onto hotspots on the move, it has many points of interest preprogramed in – again for larger vehicles but actually it is very useful as it tells you what parking can accommodate the size of your truck (etc.). Its compatible with Siri and Google and you can even connect your smart phone to it for message readouts. Build quality is excellent and while the unit is a bit heavy it does secure to your windscreen very successfully. The screen has adaptable brightness and can be seen even through the brightest glare.
It’s easy to use, has a simple interface, has plenty of features to take a little bit of stress out of driving and more importantly the information (so far) has been totally spot on. While you can get SAT Nav’s at one third the price, the speed that this unit responds, reroutes etc. combined with everything it can do makes this 6200 absolutely ideal and seriously worth considering.
This unit is designed for drivers of commercial vehicles, although it can easily be used by anyone, although the cost may put some off. The key advantage of this unit is that you can set it up with the dimensions and weight of your vehicle so that if you are a truck driver, it won’t try taking you down roads that your vehicle won’t fit down. it also allows you to input speeds to ensure that the estimated time of arrival is more accurate.
The display is large and clear and the touch screen responsive. Its perhaps not quite as easy to use as my original unit, but then there is far more on offer in terms of features.
Setting up a new route is simple, and it’s helpful to see where things such as fuel stations are along the route which is shown on a helpful line on the right hand side of the screen.
Connecting to wifi is simple and ensures that maps are up to date. It did take a while to download first time on initial set up, but then its better to have the maps up to date. This is an issue I’ve had with many built in sat navs which date very quickly.
Having the sat nav on the windscreen is a big plus in my opinion. Having driven a number of vehicles with a built in unit, I often find these are sited too low and it requires you to take your eyes off the road whilst trying to understand where exactly to turn. Not helpful as by definition, you aren’t sure where you’re going which is why you’re trying to follow the sat nav. Being mounted on the windscreen, this avoids the issue completely.
It is possible to pre programme a route into the unit, with multiple drops, although I haven’t tried this to be able to comment on simplicity.
The live traffic updates is very helpful. Again with many built in units, live traffic is frustratingly poor. I’ve often been stuck in a jam to be told 5 minutes later “warning, standing traffic ahead”. This unit seems much faster.
Overall, I like this sat nav unit. It does everything I need it to do, and does it very well. However, it’s not cheap, and think whether you do need the added functionality of vehicle dimensions as Tom Tom do make cheaper units.
I have used this along side much cheaper versions of Tom Tom and Mio Navman, the 6200 lost signal in Wales which the others didnt. It was only for a small area, but if I was delivering here it would have been a problem. One small issue in York, luckily I was in my car this time – not the best place for issues. I could offer an update if my phone had memory.
Wifi updates are easily and quickly done, I am unable to have the app on my phone as I dont have enough memory but sounds good.
I had to do a force reset to initially set up the unit, no great problem.
It is loud enough to be heard even at only half volume.
I like the way the way the screen ‘flows’ as you drive.
The voice is better than my Mio, but doesn’t make me smile with mispronunciation 🙂 especially owwwho as in A580.
All good so far, no weight/height/axle/length limit errors when in ‘Truck’ mode.
I turned off voice activation as when a Polish co driver spoke the satnav was asking for further instruction. (I have driven in Polish too 🙂 with his cheaper/older Tom Tom-no signal problem).
Only very slightly disappointed for the cost.
Como usuario que soy de automvil, mi opinin, no podr estar basada sobre experiencia de uso en camiones o por personas que pasen la mayor parte de su trabajo en la carretera.
Es un navegador, de pantalla grande 6″, esto es un punto a su favor, por supuesto, en cuanto a la calidad de fabricacin del producto y sus acabados, nada que objetar, todo perfecto.
La pantalla de 6″ tiene una resolucin de 800 x 480 pixeles y una densidad de 154 ppi. Estos datos, hacen que la visibilidad de los datos en pantalla, sean muy buenos. No hace falta fijar la vista, pues los mens son sencillos y los iconos grandes. Decir tambin, que la pantalla es retroiluminada y tctil, la presin para que responda, ha de ser firme.
Podemos personalizar las rutas y PDI, desde el ordenador, con la aplicacin MyDrive. Pudiendo programar tu viaje, horas de descanso y de conduccin. Como tiene wifi integrado, no necesitaremos conectar el TomTom al ordenador, mediante el cable, podremos actualizar datos de manera inalmbrica.
El aparato, lleva incluida una tarjeta SIM con datos gratis durante un ao, los aos sucesivos, hay que pagar la suscripcin. Mediante estos datos, el TomTom se conecta a TomTom Services, para tener datos del trfico, rutas, atascos. As no usaremos datos del mvil.
Nos viene en la caja, todo lo necesario para poder ponerlo en funcionamiento, el soporte para sujetarlo, cable y cargador de mechero, y la mencionada sim de datos. No necesitamos comprar nada para ponerlo en marcha.
La suscripcin de los mapas TomTom, nos dice que es para toda la vida, pero aconsejo leer la letra pequea en la web de la marca.
La interfaz de uso es muy intuitiva, fcil de configurar y de utilizar. Es compatible con Android e IOS, y podemos conectar por bluetoot con el mvil y recibir las notificaciones y avisos de este. Permite dar rdenes de voz, gracias a su micro integrado, y podemos usarlo como manos libres.
Buen Navegador, dedicado principalmente para profeionales de la carretera.
Creo que todos hemos probado o visto un TomTom en alguna ocasin, ya que es una de las marcas con ms nombre para GPS en nuestro pas. En muchas ocasiones, el nombre de la marca, es hasta un sinnimo de GPS. En esta ocasin he podido probar este modelo especfico para profesionales de la carretera que lleven camiones, autobuses o similares. Desde mi punto de vista, como conductor de automviles, ya que no he conducido nunca un autobs o un camin, os voy a contar mis impresiones sobre este navegador. Al ser mis impresiones, son totalmente subjetivas, y pueden o no coincidir con las vuestras. Supongo que otra persona se fijar en otros aspectos y no tienen por qu ser necesariamente los mos.
ME HA GUSTADO:
+Pantalla grande, 6 pulgadas. Se ve todo perfectamente. En otras marcas de GPS para camiones como iGO que he probado, los elementos de la pantalla son mucho ms pequeos, por lo que a veces te tienes que fijar ms a la hora de conducir, y esto supone una pequea distraccin que puede ser peligroso a la hora de conducir.
+Viene con todo lo necesario para ponerlo directamente a funcionar: soporte, cable, cargador, sim para conectarse a internet, etc. Por lo que no tendrs que comprar nada ms, al menos durante el primer ao como explicar ms adelante.
+PDI y rutas personalizables para camiones, autobuses y furgonetas, con la posibilidad de planificar estas rutas con la aplicacin MyDrive desde nuestro ordenador previamente. Esto realmente a m me da igual, ya que no conduzco un camin, pero reconozco que para el que lo haga puede ser muy importante, sobre todo por los tacgrafos y el control tan estricto al que someten a los transportistas con el tiempo de conduccin. Con este programa pueden prever y programar totalmente el viaje con anterioridad.
+Integracin con tu mvil. Te permite escuchar los mensajes del mvil, ya sea Android o iPhone, te lee los sms, los Whatsapp, tiene funcin manos libres y te permite usar Siri y Google Now. Quin de nosotros no ha estado conduciendo y entra un mensaje en el mvil y te entran ganas de leerlo? Pues con esto te evitas la tentacin de coger el mvil o la intriga de qu pondr el mensaje hasta la prxima parada, la distraccin de coger el mvil para leerlo, poder tener un accidente por ello, o que te pille la Guardia Civil y te ponga una multa y te quite unos cuantos puntos. Ya te lo lee el TomTom y listo.
+Conectividad WiFi. Al tener conexin WiFi, podemos actualizar los mapas del navegador sin la necesidad del ordenador. Ahora en los aspectos negativos, os hablar de los mapas “para toda la vida”.
+SIM de datos incluida en el navegador durante un ao. Esta tarjeta de datos la usa el navegador para conectarse por internet a TomTom Services y por tanto avisarte de los atascos y otras notificaciones sin la necesidad de que t tengas datos en el mvil.
+Radares de trfico y alertas de trfico. Ideal para evitar multas por un descuido con la velocidad o atascos, ya que el navegador te busca rutas alternativas para evitarlos.
NO ME HA GUSTADO
-Mapas para toda la vida. Y te preguntars, por qu no te ha gustado si es para toda la vida? Pues simplemente porque no es del todo cierto. En la letra pequea de la ficha del producto en internet podrs leer lo siguiente: “Para toda la vida significa para toda la vida til del navegador, es decir, el periodo de tiempo en que TomTom ofrece asistencia para su navegador con actualizaciones, servicios, contenido o accesorios. La vida til de un navegador alcanza su fin cuando todas estas opciones dejan de estar disponibles”. O sea, que te van a dar actualizaciones de mapas hasta que ellos lo crean conveniente. Cuando hayan sacado unos cuantos modelos nuevos y no les interese, dejarn de actualizar el tuyo, aunque el hardware de tu GPS lo soporte. Cundo ocurrir eso? Slo TomTom lo sabe. Si es para toda la vida, que al menos lo sea hasta que el GPS no soporte las actualizaciones por limitaciones en el hardware.
-Radares de trfico y Alertas de trfico slo durante un ao. En el modelo 6200 a secas, sin ser profesional, estos dos servicios se incluyen tambin “para toda la vida”, con las mismas condiciones que os he especificado en el apartado anterior, es decir, que no es realmente para toda la vida. El 6200 a secas cuesta 21 euros menos. Si este cuesta ms, por qu TomTom no nos ofrece estos dos servicios para toda la vida? Por qu el GPS es profesional y pretenden cobrarnos 50 euros al ao por renovar estos dos servicios? Totalmente de acuerdo que dada su utilidad, 50 euros al ao no es mucho por estos dos servicios, pero siendo el mismo navegador no entiendo este cargo adicional.
La pantalla tiene 6 pulgadas, con una resolucin muy buena para ser un navegador (800 x 480 pixels, con 154 ppi), se ve con mucha claridad tanto de da como de noche.
Es una pantalla tctil con buena respuesta, aunque en ocasiones he tenido que pulsar una segunda vez algn botn, posiblemente es cuestin de acostumbrarse y perder el miedo a pulsar ms fuerte.
Se nota que es un GPS para profesionales, da sensacin de robusted y fiabilidad. Desde la pantalla podemos crear perfiles con las caractersticas de nuestro vehculo, como tipo de vehculo, dimensiones, peso, mercanca, velocidad mxima, etc, en funcin de esas caractersticas el navegador nos gestiona las rutas y nos muestra avisos o prohibiciones de una manera personalizada para nuestro vehculo a lo largo de nuestro trayecto.
En sus mapas se identifican puntos de inters especficos para camiones y autobuses dentro de toda Europa pudiendo guiarnos directamente hacia ellos.
Viene incluidos todos los mapas de Europa (48 paises). Las actualizaciones de estos mapas son gratuitas para siempre, te dejan hacer actualizaciones gratis para toda la vida til del navegador GPS.
Tiene WiFi integrado, lo que nos permite actualizar el software o los mapas muy rpidamente sin necesidad de tener un ordenador, nicamente acceder a la red wifi y descargar las actualizaciones desde el propio navegador GPS.
Pilla muy rpidamente la seal GPS.
La conectividad via bluetooth con el movil es rpida y eficiente. Totalmente compatible tanto para Android como Apple. Permite funcionar como manos libres en llamadas y escuchar los mensajes que te llegan al movil, el navegador GPS te los lee. Escucha tanto tus SMS como mensajes de Whatsapp, Line y otras apps.
Tiene un micrfono integrado, lo que te permite dar ordenes por voz, por lo que facilita mucho su uso para ciertas ocasiones. Adems se puede usar Siri con Apple o Google Now con Android.
No tira de los datos del movil para obtener informacin y nos muestre datos de retenciones e informacion de trfico instantnea, de esta manera no tenemos sustos en la factura del movil por datos de itinerancia.
El servicio de trfico en tiempo real y el servicio de alertas de rdares de trfico (fijo, moviles y por tramo) se consigue gracias a una tarjeta SIM que tiene integrada. Esta tarjeta SIM no tiene costes adicionales, por lo que no pagamos nada por estos datos. Son lo que se denomina servicios TomTom Traffic y Rdares de Trfico, son gratuitos durante un ao, despues es necesario pagar una cuota anual de unos 50. Si no nos suscribimos despus del ao no tendramos este servicio de trfico en tiempo real y alertas de rdares actualizado. Es un producto caro pero merece la pena, en mi opinin yo habra ampliado la suscripcin gratuita por parte de TomTom a estos servicios a algo ms de una ao en vez de slo a un ao.
El interfaz es muy intuitivo y fcil de emplear. Responde muy fluido y la navegacin es muy clara. Es muy ligero, es muy fino y no pesa nada. Este modelo es de 6 pulgadas, es lo que necesitaba, no quera un armatoste y se ve con mucha claridad todo. Se puede guardar en cualquier sitio.
En la caja se incluye el cargador de mechero para el coche y el cable de carga USB, que es totalmente valido tambien para cargar tu movil con conexin microUSB. Adems el soporte magntico y un disco adhesivo. Es muy cmoda la colocacin del GPS en el soporte magntico; rpido y fcil.
La batera tiene una autonoma de alrededor de 1 hora sin enchufe, estos dispositivos estn pensados para ser utilizados siempre conectado al enchufe del mechero por ello no es un problema.

Se puede configurar el navegador GPS y las instrucciones por voz en varios idiomas, incluido el espaol.
Es resumen es un buen navegador GPS para grandes vehculos facilitando la tarea del conductor, nos proporciona informacin precisa en tiempo real de una forma detallada y sencilla, reduciendo peligros, costes y tiempo.
It’s updating as I write. So far impressed. Quality is good. But then it’s Tomtom. Will be interesting tomorrow when I use it live for the first time.
– The navigation combined with accurate and up-to-date traffic information is brilliant and second to none in my view. Countless times I have avoided traffic build up with this device, saving me a lot of valuable time.
– The tailoring to large vehicles also seems to work well – tested while driving a van, it avoided a narrow road that I would normally have taken.
– The 6-inch screen is very clear with a high resolution
– Lifetime map updates is good to have.
What is not so good?
– The traffic service is the best thing about this navigation device but you only get it for one year before you have to start paying – not good for a device that sells for over three hundred pounds.
– The device can become slow and unresponsive at times, which is annoying
I am so impressed with the new 6200 professional TomTom. Im not a truck driver and nor do i transport large loads but i can see the benefit that this TomTom would bring to those situations. it is fully customisable to the weight, size and type of vehcle you use. IF your using a standard car it still works well, the routes will automatically adjust & give live travel feedback. the verbal directions can be customised with a variety of languages and voice styles andthe information they provide is clear, precise & well timed.
Its easy to set up, the device comes partially charged but i reccomend conectiong it to a power supply to do an intitial update via your home wifi network. My only criticism is that this is a professional unit and doesnt come with a case or storage pocket for when you need to hide or store it.

Good quality sat nav I found easy enough to set up, good sized screen as well that’s pretty clear and in all lighting conditions too. Got plenty of little gadgets to set up the type of vehicle you are driving and works accordingly. No issues with it so far good sat nav.
Screen mount, really sticks to truck screen and is easily adjusted to suit screen angle. Magnet holds
SatNav strongly onto mount and makes it very easy to take off and put away.
My Likes:
1). Very sturdy construction and top materials used.
2). Quick and accurate route planning taking into account truck dimensions
3). TomTom traffic warnings are almost instantaneous and offer quick routes around traffic jams
4). WIFI on the 6200 makes for quick updates and no need for computer (can be done at WIFI hotspots)
5). Relative fast processor, advantageous when you take a wrong turn.
6). Searches can be done online (similar to google search).
My dislikes:
1). it should have had a bag to store it away included at this price.
2). Reaction to screen touches slow; few times i thought I had not pressed hard enough
3). Truck/Bus dimensions are only allowed in m/cm/mm not feet and inches (not ideal for the UK)
4). Own/3rd party POIs can be installed but not their symbols; only the very basic symbols from system allowed.
5). Menus can be confusing until accustomed to.
