Nice, contemporary, heavy set. Fine in the dishwasher. Some imperfections but not noticeable unless really looking. Large cups and bowls take up so much room in the dishwasher but hey ho. Would recommend.
I like this dining set. Quality is good although can be scratched as they aren’t glossy. Arrived on time with none broken.
Love this dinner set however on arrival it only came with 3 cups and not 4, I contacted the manufacturer and I’m still waiting for their response
1st plate set I have owned. , I like them. I am heavy handed in the kitchen sink and surprised these haven’t chipped yet. Decent quality
The looking nice. Is it worth the money errrrrm. but a question, why is the box not sealed when it arrives, the security stickers broken on both boxes? Opened just and already one chipped
Good looking set of dinnerware. Bigger and heavier than I expected, especially the mug, but my daughter loved them. Ordered 2 sets so we had enough for a family Christmas dinner. Unfortunately one of the mugs was broken on arrival. Had to have the whole set replaced which meant carrying a very heavy (10kg) box to the carrier’s office. When the replacement box arrived a mug arrived broken in that set. In both cases it was a mug in the same middle position?
Very peeved as packaging only went out in the recycling on Tuesday! I loved this set – the colour the style everything so really sad it hasn’t lived up to the statement on the bottom of the plate . I will try and glue back together and use for non food purposes

All looks like the picture and all OK except that there were only 3 cups.
Came packaged with smaller boxes in the main box and one of the smaller boxes had 3 cups and only room for 3, despite the description saying 16 piece including 4 x cups, so it’s very odd. There was some folded cardboard behind that box, so perhaps there should have been one cup in its own box?
As it is, I didn’t really need the cups, so having unpacked everything and washed each item box by box, the cups being the last, box I got to, I am not going to bother returning. Just very odd and just lucky I don’t really need the cups.
This dish ware looks much more expensive than it actually is! They are heavy dishes and are well made. I was impressed with them.
This is a wonderful find in fact its so good that I ordered another set within days of the first set arriving, This is a quality item at a reasonable price the colour is soft but not washed out it is quality quality quality.
I love it , so different from other supermarket or high street shops own sets . It is heavy , robust . Has a Scandinavian feel to it .
Keeps the drink and soups etc hot for longer which is beneficial if you like your tea hot 🙂 overall I’m very happy , I got a great set for a good price . Thank you
Suspect this is not first quality wherever it was made, slight imperfections in glaze on plates, mugs have slight variations in diameter. Stoneware it definitely is, solid and heavy. We picked it for it’s colour and shape, which we like. So will use it daily and enjoy i
I’ve been looking for plates like this with a high rim for ages – and luckily I found this very reasonably priced set.
Well package so short of the package being thrown there’s no room for breakage. Good weight without being heavy and just so pretty!
We have been renovating the house and thought to get a new set of crockery for the kitchen. These plates are even better in person and the quality is 10/10! They are so simple but classy and a perfect piece to add to the kitchen. Strongly recommend trying them out!
And I did not regret it. Ngl, they look beautiful, and like the other reviewer said, “chunky”. There is a certain earthiness about eating off stoneware plates. It feels very homely. The ripple effect design adds a certain vintage touch to it.
Delivery:
Delivery was good. Everything was packaged well, protected in individual cardboard boxes, encased within a sturdy branded box and then further protected within an Amazon box with more lining and a big red “FRAGILE” sticker at the front to ensure it was delivered and handled well. Everything arrived in perfect condition and nothing was broken – which was my biggest worry.
Mugs:
The set contains 4 mugs. They are larger that I had expected, which is good thing. They hold a generous cup of coffee / tea. And can I just say that coffee in this thing looks beautiful in the morning. I don’t know why but it does. It has quite a generous lip, so drinking from it feels “fuller” and satisfying. Because of its size, I can see myself making cuppa soup in this. They hold heat very well. The round shape fits around your hands nicely so that you can hold the mug in both hands to keep your hands warm whilst slurping hot choc or something. The handles are thick and sturdy.
Bowls:
There are 4 bowls. We’ve used this for breakfast in the morning. The bowls are a decent size, they have got slightly higher walls than our old Wilko bowls, which I prefer, makes it easier to get out of the microwave. They microwave fine. We also used them for dinner, had rice and curry the other day and the bowls make eating feel homely and well portioned.
Small Plates
The set contains 4 small plates. Had chocolate cake on it and the ripple-effect on a speckled cream background elevated our basic supermarket choc cake and made it look insta-ready. Don’t know why but it does. Small plates were a good size, not annoyingly small. A good size for a chunky slice of cake. I’ll use them as tapas plates too.
Large Plates
There were 4 large plates. Thick, sturdy plates. I love the rim / wall around it. Prevents food from falling off the plate while you eat. Good size, will fit a full english or steak and all the trimmings fine. Bit too large to fit neatly and stand on its own in our compact Ikea Hultarp dish-drainer, but was able lean them, so they’re fine. They look good on the shelves. They make food look good too.
Overall
Durable stoneware. This is going to last for awhile. Looks beautiful. Makes eating and drinking feel homely. Total Scandinavian hygge vibes.
Really pleased with this simple, stylish dinnerware set. The shape of each piece is lovely, with nice wide plates with a raised rim and the bowls are great for soup and cereal.
The grey colour is pretty, it’s very pale so for someone who is a fan of white dinnerware this is a nice change without being too far from my comfort zone!
I’m also a fan of the generous sized mugs. So far everything has washed well and feels nice enough to be used for special occasions but not too expensive to use for every day.
My only criticisms of this set are that the bottoms of the plates and mugs are just a little rough, and it’s a shame there doesn’t seem to be any other pieces available to match to this set – I’d love to add some larger pasta bowls for example, but can easily find some similar but contrasting darker grey bowls which will mix in quite nicely.
Beautiful!! We received these today and have had our dinner using them they are the perfect size! We loved using the pasta bowls but for curry and rice. They felt strong and fit in my dishwasher well. They are really elegant. I like the dinner plate size some people have said they are on the small side but we think they are perfect.

WE have just decorated our kitchen and I wanted to get a new dinnerware set as all our plates ect are not matching, all odd so I was very excited when I saw this needed reviewing!
I never even realised tower made dinnerware, I know they make electrical kitchen appliances.
So this is a 16 piece set that consists of 4 mugs, 4 side plates, 4 bowls and 4 dinner plates……. They are white in colour and the mugs have a grey nner coating.
The quality is very good, feels very durable, the have some weight to them.
The best thing about them is the ridge on all the plates as it really helps to prevent food coming off the plate, especially if your having a gravy dinner.
I can deffinatly recommend this set…… Yes I know they are expensive but believe me you are getting your monies worth with this set!

Each dish can be safely placed in the refrigerator and microwave. It can be washed in the dishwasher.
I fancied a change from my old dinner set to a new 1 and this 1 just stood out to buy it. So I did. It’s very well made 16 piece set thats ideal for a small family.
I love the size of the plates and the edge of them as they stand up well. I can picture a Sunday dinner on them and no gravy running everywhere.
The dishes are a good sige so you can get a nice portion of Corn Flakes (or other cerial) in them. Also lots of ice cold milk.
The small plates are very nice for a sandwich or other snack. Just the right size really. Also nice high lip.
The cups I’m not sure I’ll use them as we all have our own dedicated cups and stand by cups in the house hold. They are a nice sig and they are proper mugs. So can get a good cup of tea in them. Nicely made and good size.
The whole set is very well made and a nice neutral colour. Giving the set my highest marks of 10-10. Very few things get this high a mark from me but this is well deserved for this 16 piece dinner set. Top quality.
