1, It is designed as a 2 in 1 floor lamp, the base is simply not big or heavy to make it normal as a table lamp. However, this cause the top heavy when it as a floor lamp which its gooseneck angle is not adjusted well.
Please try to put the base to corner or on the bed bottom or sofa bottom and keep the gooseneck curvature sufficiently curved so as to eliminate the problem of top-heavy. Please pay more attention to this before getting it.
2, The light bulbs are embedded into the head and cannot be replaced, as is quite common with most LED products; However, its lifespan is long and the lamp head is replaceable.
3, It is NOT compatible with wall switches.

There are a range of settings for the light warmth and the lamp is dimmable too so it really does provide for most needs where a directional source is needed. This isn’t a light that will illuminate a whole room, that is not its purpose. It’s purpose is to provide a good focused light source and it does that superbly. My only slight grip is that I would have expected the cable to be integrated to the inside of the lamp upright rather than running down the outside. A minor gripe though – this is a very good light.
Probably the best-packaged item I’ve received ever, it was compact and well insulated. The lamp itself was simple to assemble and in operation very effective indeed. I’m delighted with it.
Like a lot of people who went for this, we needed better light for reading but were reluctant to shell out a fortune for the most commonly advertised specialist lamp. Impressed by the sturdiness, quality of light and the ease of use. Love the different shades of light. Liked the first one so much we bought another!

Very pleased. The lamp is well designed and unobtrusive. The light is excellent for reading and had also been used for ironing and handicrafts. The light intensity function is very useful as is its height – other lamps researched are simply too short for floor stanfing.
Ideal for hand sewing. The variable heights means I can have it set up at a lower position to sit beside an armchair.

Good range of light settings both brightness and intensity. Easy touch switch with little light to show you where the switch is in the dark. Adjustable height which was great. Able to set it at just the right height for bedtime reading

Very pleased with this item. It’s well engineered, looks good and is very functional. I like the feather-touch controls, the fact that you can select various light outputs and direct the beam by way of a flexible neck. It does look good in our living room and my wife likes it too. Also the lamp is very good value, especially compared with some out there.
This is the best craft lamp that I have purchased, paid a bit more than I wanted too but well worth the price paid. Love the design and how easy it was to put together. You only get what you pay for at the end of the day! Highly recommend…
got this for my living room after my other light died, boy has time moved on ,this is light years ahead of my past one,
got it up and going inside a minuet and the brightness can be adjusted with the slightest touch, (5 levels).
the base is small but heavy enough and can fit in anywhere, i’m very happy my old standing light died for this replacement is just great and the actual light is perfect for anything .
Bit wobbly. Does not adjust to exactly the height I require. Brightness and colour of light easy to adjust. Covers the area I work in well.

Wanted a reading light to replace an up lighter
This is good. Like the different softness you can select from warm to daylight. Then you can select the brightness levels.

I like the fact that the lamp height can be easily adjusted from table/desk top to a low or high floor lamp by not using all the four lamp poles provided. This lamp is very good value for money as it offers five brightness modes and a 3 minutes timer.
This is why I give it five stars for versatility and easy to assemble (no tools required to screw the poles, the gooseneck and the base together). I also give it 5 stars for durability although I have just purchased it, as it seems quite sturdy and the company offers an 18 months guarantee. It was also dispatched very quickly.
I am therefore very satisfied with this order. I bought this lamp for my wife who has poor eyesight, and I am now considering purchasing another one for myself.

Variable height means that the light is suited to many users/activities. Variable colour light enables personal preference. The light is also very good looking. We will buy another at some stage.
Great product, feels robust, good steady base. Best thing is the 5 light settings from brilliant white to an ambient cosy glow, making the product a good all round lamp for crafting and relaxing.
This is a great product in that it looks good, was very easy to assemble and although I wanted a floor lamp, it can be put together as a table lamp or desk lamp. Just got the lamp so not sure about durability yet but looks substantial and hopefully the electronics will be fine too.
However, before buying the second one, I had bought the Trond desk-lamp version thinking to get the same quality at the “top end” as the floor lamp. No such luck. The clamp was useless and the neck suffered from brewer’s droop, so that lamp went straight to the jumble sale. I see now that it is no longer available. Interesting that two products of the same brand and of very similar design could have been of such very different quality.
But this doesn’t detract from the excellence of the floor lamp we are reviewing – a fine product, highly rcommended.
This product is perfect for my wifes crafting.Although she is not a serious reader she is a serious crafter and this lamp can be increased in height by means of the extension tubes, or reduced as the case may be, depending on the location required and is simple due to the power cable being on the outside and held in place with small velcro bands.The light being dimmable is fantastic with its 5 different intensities. All in all an excellent purchase and well worth the price, being considerably cheaper than others viewed but still made with quality materials.
I was excited by the description of this lamp and relieved when it arrived to find it was much better than I had expected.
In every way this lamp fits the bill.
I have recommended it to other people as I would for you. Simalar lamps to this come no where near the attributes that this lamp offers.
I was originally minded to drop a star as I could not make the 30 minute delay work. It wasn’t until I discovered by accident that the holding of the on/off button for 2 seconds (at least) has to be carried out with the light already on. To me this is counterintuitive, but having realised it, I find it works well. Accordingly I have not dropped the star but still feel this is a weakness in the instructions that should be addressed,
I like very much that the power cable runs outside the pole. It might look neater if it ran inside, but the external run allows sections of the pole of the pole to be added or removed without in some way safely splitting the cable and rejoining it, adding significantly to the cost, I would imagine. I any case Velcro bands are provided to secure the cable to the pole – one pers section.
The product was easy to put together and to get the height correct, it is very versatile so can be used for different applications. The only reason I have given three stars for durability is that I have not had the product long enough to assess its durability fully. The only thing I have found annoying is that you have to re-select the brightness level every time you switch the lamp back on via. the power socket.

The lamp has only just arrived but I love it already, easy to assemble and use. The unit looks very smart and I like the power and colour flexibility. The gooseneck is smooth and very flexible and the auto off will save me knocking seven bells out of my shins on the coffee table! So far what’s not to like?
Delighted with my purchase – the product was very well packaged – the lamp itself is excellent – height adjustable for use anywhere, the dimmable and colour changing LEDs means it can be used with cool white light and high power for close up craft work or warmer white and dimmed down for reading. Excellent light – perfect for reading. Intensity and tone controls easy to operate. This is a repeat purchase by me for two more of the same. Can’t really comment on durability yet because the purchases are so recent – but certainly no problems so far.
The built-in light display ( no bulbs used) is excellent, bright but not harsh and is adjustable to taste. It is not for room illumination though, but for directional light.
To adjust height, a section is easily removed if needed. The gooseneck is easy to position for direction.
Controls very easy to use with on/off needing only a brush of a finger.

Don’t usualy write reviews but I had this light since April 2017 and it is great. It had started to flicker a little. I contacted customer services and they swapped the light after confirmation of my purchase as it was covered for 18 months. The light is great and so are the customer service people. Top marks.

This is good light for needlework on linen, previously I used a blue daylight bulb and so this lamp took a little time to get used to as it does provide a different kind of light. I found it very easy to assemble and it has a solid heavy base making it a sturdy lamp
Perfect for arts and crafts when your eyesight is not as good as it was!!. Good idea to have the 3 extension levels for height. Hope the bulb lasts as it is not replaceable.
I am delighted with this reading lamp. I love it for its simple, stark lines and that it only needs a feather-light touch to start it up, then adjust to the required mode, then to close it down.
Excellent product, arrived quality , very high quality and very well packed . My husband bought one, and it was so good that I bought one too, as he hogs this light when he reads, then my 90 year old mum wanted one as it literally sharpens your sight so it feels like you have put a pair of glasses on! Really happy with it and it is very slender so can fit into a small space.
Pleased with the purchase, the only disappointment is the cable length. As a table lamp the cable is adequate, as a floor lamp it’s position is restricted and if the lamp is positioned at cable full length it creates a trip hazard.
It is really worthwhile paying a bit extra for a very well designed product. Very easy to assembly, the tolerances in the uprights confirm that this is a very well made product. Very stable and highly recommended.
Very simple assembly, although some method to attach the cable to the back of the pole would have been useful as it just hangs down from the foot of the goose neck. It illuminates the reading area without too much spread of stray light. I’m very pleased with it especially the very sensitive touch on/off button.

I use this for close-up craft work, and it makes a real difference compared with an ordinary desk light or spot lamp. Apart from the brightness, which is markedly better than your ordinary spotlight, I really like the neatness of the design. The small, flexible head is easy to direct where you want it and doesn’t get in the way; the option to add or remove pieces to make the lamp taller or smaller (desk or floor) is really handy too. Excellent value and I’ll probably invest in another before too long.

I have AMD and need a lot of light to focus on what I’m looking at whether it be close or distant. This light is amazing and I now can read books with ease. It is very flexible and infinitely adjustable and a good price. I recommend this light for anyone and especially those with sight impairment.

I have no hesitation in giving this product the full five stars, looks great and quality of materials is excellent, one relatively small quibble is the ” upside down ” power plug which we see lots of these days, this leaves the power cord sticking up in the air and looks untidy.
Bought this lamp to help with my woodcarving. Excellent range of intensity without glare and subtle colour changes, to increase or decrease shadow effect. Gooseneck is brilliant for any angles. Very stylish and easy to put together. Would recommend readily.
I bought this for my craft room, its great for my needs, could do with a longer cord though. I love the fact it has different light levels, but it also has different light features from bright white to a warm soft ligh
Just one thing keeps it from 5 stars as far as I’m concerned: that power cable. Why have the socket at the back when it could have come out the bottom of the control unit? That way the cable could run up inside the (screwed-together) rods and appeared right at the base, and you wouldn’t need the velcro straps to tie it to the rods. It’s not rocket science!

The quality of the lamp is only surpassed by the quality of the light, I already own a serious readers lamp (around 300), this is very, very nearly as good. altogether a splendid thing.
IT COMPARES VERY FAVORABLY WITH A LAMP THAT MY DAUGHTER PAID 250 FOR.
However after 15 months use it developed a slight problem which I reported to Trond, I was amazed at the responce from their customer care as the problem was attended too with swift replys, fast action and friendly advice, and the problem was no more. This is the best Customer Care that I have ever expeirenced in many years dealing on the net.

The height adjustment is made but adding or removing sections to the main stem, which means that you cannot easily change this once the lamp is installed. However, this was not a problem for me and it also made the delivery box very compact.
I will probably by another for a different room.
This is really a reading lamp as opposed to a traditional standard lamp, so not so good for general lighting in a room but it has a wide range of light “colours” and intensities and seems well made. I like it.
The product and the light are extremely good quality it is just brilliant for my everyday use. The Customer Service is even better I have a really good experience with them. When I contacted them quickly helped me to get the best product experience.

Great bit of kit but should have luminous On/Off button (when product is off) so that you can find it in the dark.
