These secateurs are made of good quality materials and are easy to use. They are very sharp and make it easy to prune. They come with a little bag or holder that you can attach to your belt like a gunslinger if that’s your thing!

    Works well

These secateurs are fine for the average home garden, but I don’t think they’d last very long if used professionally.
The grip is soft and comfortable, the mechanism works well without too much pressure and they cut well.
They come with a spare spring and a handy belt “holster” with a closable flap.
However, I have concerns with the lock, which comes loose very easily, and will also come undone with quite gentle pressure on the handles.
Not the best I have used, but adequate.

These secateurs arrived in a sturdy cardboard box which also contains a holster and spare spring.

The handles have comfortable rubber grips and the carrying holster has a belt clip (not loop) so it can quickly be clipped on or removed. It also has a Velcro strap to keep the secateurs secure.

I already have some good bypass secateurs but wanted some anvil ones for cutting heavier, woody branches. The branch shown in the video is about 17mm thick and had been drying out for some time so it was very hard. These secateurs definitely require less effort to cut through thicker stuff.

These secateurs appear to be well made and the blade is sharp. My only criticism is that the locking button is too loose. It tends to slip down when you’re cutting and this can be quite irritating. I’m sure a couple of taps on the rivet with a hammer will sort it out when I get around to it!

I haven’t had these secateurs long enough to comment on their long term durability but I’ll update this review if there’s anything to report.

I’m quite happy with these secateurs. They cut well and the only problem is the loose locking button and for that I’m knocking off one star.

Cut Well but Loose Locking Butto

These are a frighteningly sharp pair of secateurs or pruning shears. I can’t work out if they are Super Sharp or just seem that way cause they are brand-new but they take no prisoners! They have green coloured metal handles which is perfect for the garden and they feel heavy duty and good quality.
Interestingly you get a spare spring. I say “interestingly” because anyone who has owned secateurs before will know that the spring is liable to either lose its springiness, or bounce off somewhere when you’re trying to take them apart, so the inclusion of a spare coil is very welcome. There is also a small velcro pouch which only cover the tip, so you can use them just to protect the blades or clip them onto your belt to hold them whilst you work in the garden.
These are reasonably priced and I could recommend them. They look & feel quality and have a nice “heft” in the hand.

    Super sharp

Need to be careful the angle it’s held at as the lock comes on.
    Sharp and cuts well.

    Great.

You receive what seems like a well made set of Pruning Secateurs, come nicely presented, ideal if being given as a gift.

The hand is easy to hold has a good bit of padding to it.

They are super sharp, which I expected them to be, most new ones are

I’ve been using these in the garden now for over a week and they’re still super sharp and have done some serious pruning.

A great set, easy to use, I’ve not caught my finger on the closer, which I tend to with a lot of this type, pleased.

These secateurs arrive in a cardboard box and are well oiled and wrapped in bubble wrap. The box also contains a spare spring and a little pocket holster, which is really handy.

The secateurs feel good in the hand and are well made. There’s a small sliding safety lock, which at 1st is very stiff and requires a bit of effort, but loosens up after a while. The blades don’t cross over like scissors, instead the top blade falls into a groove on the lower to give a complete chop and a strong one. The top blade is nice and sharp and chops easily.

I got these for my mum, who’s a pensioner as she always seems to be loosing secateurs or they just break. They are listed as requiring less chopping forve but the 1st thing she to me was that they felt stiff and were quite tricky to use. I helped her with a bit of gardening and chopping a plenty and they started to loosen up. At that point i let her crack on and she said they were much easier. I guess when they are 1st assembled the oil hasn’t penetrated yet until used.

Overall these are good quality and cut well. At 16.99 they’re not cheap, but they do feel like they’ll last.

Good quality, tough secateurs, with handy extras.

These secateurs seem to be reasonably well-made, and they do the job as intended. I wouldn’t though describe these as ‘professional’, they certainly wouldn’t be ideal for a professional gardener — I don’t honestly see these standing that kind of use, but for domestic garden use, they seem fine. I have cut quite a few light branches with them, with no trouble. The jaws are good and even (even contact), and decently sharp.

The secateurs include a case with belt clip, and a spare spring, which is useful. They are quite comfortable to use, and do cut cleanly. How well the blades stand up to use, time will tell, but so far, so good, and they are SK-5, Teflon coated steel, so hopefully they will last. As I go through the gardening season, if there are any issues, I will update accordingly. The locking mechanism is a touch awkward, but effective.

Overall, these are reasonably good quality, okay value. They do the job perfectly well so far.

I hope that you have found this helpful.

    Reasonably Good

These secateurs are handy for dead heading flowers, and for pruning of smaller items, but I did find that thicker items were a little tougher.

I like the holster that they come with, it is handy to have somewhere to clip them to save looking round to remember where you put them. It’s also good that they come with a spare spring.

The secateurs don’t close tightly, but it doesn’t cause any major issues. All in all, they are easy enough to use, and comfortable, but certainly no better than any other secateurs that I already have. based on that, I feel that whilst they aren’t a million miles away, they seem a little expensive.

    Nice Enough but Not Perfec

These pruning shears are very good quality and professionally made. The blades are SK-5 grade steel blades and I got these because I and my elderly mother do a fair bit of pruning and similar jobs around our large gardens. These pruners are slim, lightweight and easy to hold and to squeeze. After using them all afternoon between the two of us, we found that our hands are as tired and aching, which was a great thing. This means we can prune more and be more productive.
The holster is very handy as we holster away thr pruner and then grab it when we need it. You also get a spare spring which is a nice touch.
The handles have a nice comfy silicone rubbery grip and cutting, really does feel less effort than our old heavy pruners. These pruners are professional quality.
These are great value for money!

Lightweight, easy pruning power and pro build

This is well made and feels substantial, much better than I was expecting at the price. It works well, and if the material being cut is tough you just release the handle, and press again until it works its way through. If the material is very tough it does still require some effort however, but it will produce a good clean cut.

Rubber backed handles make for a more comfortable grip, especially if you have a lot of pruning to do. The locking mechanism is easy to use, and unlike some secateurs is unlikely to lock itself in use. Included is a holster and a spare spring.

Really easy to use and good quality pouch is excellent as I have lost 2 secateurs in the pas

Blade is nice and sharp and cut through 20mm apple tree branches like a hot knife through butter. Even cleanly cut through a 12mm golden bamboo cane with very little effort. The grip is good and the geared pivot does make a difference for those like me that suffer from joint issues like arthritis. Comes with a spare spring and nice little protective sheath. My only gripe is that there is a minuscule gap between the blade’s edge and the cutting guard plate when closed with a normal pressure squeeze (barely half a millimetre). To get it to meet you do have to squeeze a little harder just to get that full clean cut. Still very much recommended.

These are great so easy to use and wonderful results in the garden. I’m so pleased with them the best I’ve ever had.
