More robust than the first gen ones..battery last most the day and just a few hours to charge it up.. saw somewhere on the web that you don’t need the Microsoft adapter to sync to pc.. YOU DO. Xbox syncs right up nice and easy tho

My big lad that plays on fornite on the xbox loves them. They are wireless and seem to hold loads of charge. There’s a fancy button on them that can be pushed to turn up the sounds so he can hear footsteps, then back down again when he’s finished “sneaking”.
Says they are perfect for his fortnite game. Perfects a high stamp from my child. Recommend. His little brother is a bull in a China shop and hasn’t broke them yet either, so I can only assume they are pretty durable.

Super human hearing sounds tinny but the modes are what make this head set, took about a week for my ears to adjust to the sound and positioning of foot steps, music is incredible on the headset I recommend mode 3 or 2 and for gaming mode 1

Bought for my son who has had a seemingly endless succession of wired headsets, all of which he’s managed to break fairly quickly by yanking the headphone jack out at an angle, etc. This was a bit more expensive than I had wanted to pay but I looked at the potential benefit – and therefore savings – of not having to buy any more wired headsets. It holds a very good charge, is well built, comfy to wear and I’m told that the in-game sound quality is “sick”.

Love these easy to use and sync to xbox. Really clear volumes easily adjusted, comfortable to wear even over long periods although I find my ears get warm. They last long time on full charge never had them go flat while gaming. Would definitely recommend.

I love how comfy they are and tge perfectly crisp noise you can hear ever small detail sounds on games its also really good to wear when watching films/movies because of the crisp sound and bass. I didn’t update the firmware on these headphones but they work very well. To update the firmware you are supposed to connect to the turtle beach website and update through a pc or Mac – as I didn’t have either of these I took a chance and I am pleased that the headset is working on my Xbox one without any problems. The headset is light and it’s easy to adjust the sound. I only have two small issues 1: the on / off tone in the headset is very loud and doesn’t appear to be adjustable 2: turtle beach could be more clear about the firmware updates (not everyone has access to a up to date PC) and it would make more sense to update the headset directly via the Xbox.

Pros – sound quality is good, cheap for a wireless headset and connects directly to the Xbox.

Cons – headband takes a bit to wear in, Not as loud as your think, I have the volume wheel all the way up and is about okay.
Every few minutes it will stutter/cut out then crackle for a split second on One X, didn’t have this issue with Series X.

great headset, my son loves it, it does all the functional stuff he’s interested in and it’s *way* cheaper than a wired headset, for the simple reason that we’ve gone through 5 headsets in the last 3 years, because the lead gest twisted in use and ends up fraying/ pulling out.
1 wireless headset that can’t fail like this is way cheaper than 5 wired headsets.

If you’re thinking about a wired headset, dial in the fact that you’ll buy 3 before you give up and get some of these.

(connecting automagically to the x-box was a bonus – it just works. There’s no USB dongle or anything. It’s been in daily use since I bought it and there’s no sign of wear & tear or imminent failure. Great product)

Purchased this for my son for Christmas. Previously he has not used a headset to play on his Xbox but in the interest of not having virtual voices in my home or sharing our voices with his friends we decided to get these. This is a quality product, good quality plastics, metal for the head band and super soft, well fitted ear cups that accommodate kids to adult head sizes. I wear glasses too and they soft cups accommodate the arms with no undue pressure or discomfort. Set up is really easy on the Xbox, just press the bind buttons on both devices and done. Obvious tweaks required in game as needed such as Fortnite. Also has a phone app connected by Bluetooth to tweak various settings. Again super easy to connect. My son also uses the headset for his online schooling for listening in on online classes l and has the mic to communicate. The headphones come with a nice case with charging capability when stored away. The sound quality is quite impressive, a well balanaced crisp sound with plenty of bass in gaming for if you wish. A quality try product.

I don’t usually wear headphone when game playing, but have started to recently. These are a good quality, with dual volume levels, one for game effects and the other for other players speaking. My only gripe is that they squeeze my ears and they start to hurt after a while, that just might be me, maybe my ears are too big to fit fully inside the hearing cup. Overall it makes a big difference to gaming.

Sound quality is great. You can change modes for increased bass, tremble and vocal sound which is great. Superhuman hearing mode works very well increasing the volume on quiet audio queues while maintaining the quality of the audio, but I recommend switching from Windows sonic to dolby atmos as it makes the 3d audio feel more real and surrounding.
