Before you purchase, please confirm your source device own the USB-C port which supports DP Alt Mode:
1. USB-C 3.1 Gen 1: 5Gbps bandwidth, only several models like Macbook 2015 could support Display
2. USB-C 3.1 Gen 2: 10Gbps bandwidth, supports one or two Displays
3. USB 3.2: 20Gbps bandwidth, support three Displays
4. Thunderbolt 3/4: 40Gbps bandwidth, support quadruple Displays.(With two HOSTs)
# Half-Speed Thunderbolt 3: 20Gbps bandwidth only, support three Displays.
Note:
1. Mac OS and Chrome OS do NOT support Extended mode. Additional monitors can only mirror the source screen instead of extending your desktop to three separate screens under No-Mirror mode. The resolution of all monitors connected to the HOST2 port will be limited to 3840X2160P@60Hz (maximum)
2. 10G M.2 SSD Enclosure can support only M.2 B-KEY or B&M-Key SATA SSDs, it does NOT support M.2 PCIe AHCI SSDs nor any SSD from Mac. Speed will vary depending on your computer’s and SSD’s performance.
3.It is normal for the case to heat up, as high-speed M.2 drives generate heat while working. Please avoid touching the SSD while in use
4. The source Laptop’s power adapter must first be plugged into the USB-C Power Delivery port before connecting an external hard drive or multiple devices to the Docking Station. If your laptop utilizes an AC adapter, please use the OEM adapter to charge, as it will provide the fastest charging speed. HP and Dell do not allow 3rd party chargers to charge their equipment.
5. Due to the process of EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) communication your displays may cause your displays to blackout for a few seconds once plugged in. They should recover shortly, but speed depends on the source device and monitor (1 minute at max).
6. HDMI signal cannot be transferred to DP signal; DP monitors are not supported.
7. The newest Macbooks with M1 chip and IMac don’t support MST. (All the extra monitors could only get the same contents)

I’ve set this up at my work desk, it’s an easy single cable solution meaning when I get back to my desk I can just plug in ice cable and everything is then attached and working in a meter of seconds. The hub feels good quality and I’ve experienced no issues so far. Really pleased with it and highly recommended.
A great idea having an SSD dock combined with a laptop hub. It’s absolutely great and looks the business.
Can’t wait to make use of all the ports and completely free up the laptop, making my work station at home much tidier!
However, some design flaws…
1.
The thunderbolt connection drains power from the laptop even when the laptop is plugged in. The power supply to my HP Probook (which is a good spec by the way) is a 65w one. So solution could be getting a higher rater power lead, but I don’t want to blow up my work laptop/battery…
That or have another powered USB-C into the dock and have the host connection purely for data. This means I have now lost my phone charger and it’s warp ability (OnePlus 9pro) and will need to get another of those or trickle charge like the good old days.
2.
When having both USB-C cables in the back of the dock. The HDMI plug is hindered. So I am having to use the Display Port instead.
I am so surprised there aren’t more of these where you can have an SSD inside. Others are way expensive, but I suppose don’t have the flaws!
Would look forward to a version 2 and get a discount for being a product tester :p
