At work I have an expensive wireless headset but that comes with a charging base which isn’t very portable. Comparatively, this headset is very portable as it is USB powered, so no need to remember to put anything on charge! Just plug in and away you go, no messing about – it works right out of the box. They are super comfy on your head and over your ears, although though not encompassing the whole of your ear. The padding is plush, and padded really well. This is great to ensure no noisy distractions in the background so you can fully concentrate on whatever you are listening to. I asked how I was coming through in a meeting and I got a “loud and clear” answer. No distortion or crackling from my end, due in part to the noise cancelling and adjustable boom mic that also comes with wind shield cover. Also, listening the sound quality is spot on. The inline mic, volume control and speaker control is a welcome addition and is great to mute and unmute, or mute the sound all at the touch of a button. I could probably go on about how impressed I am but I’ll simply say this. I’ve given away my 230 headset to a colleague as I’m extremely happy with this headset with unexpected high quality. Pleasantly surprised at how good this is for the price FranciscoGandon says: 01/04/2022 at This headset is very comfortable to use, it doesn’t hurt my ears or my head, fits on my head or my husband’s perfectly. Modern design and nice colours. Sound quality is amazing, noise cancelling works beautifully. Sturdy and durable material. Lightweight, great to carry around on my bag. DaniHargrave says: 31/03/2022 at These headphones come with 2 connections — a standard USB connection an one that fits a standard 3.5mm headphone jack. I tend to use the 3.5mm jack on my work’s laptop as the laptop only has USB-C ports, as well as the headphone jack. I sometimes use it on a USB hub but I don’t always remember to pack this in my bag. The pads sit on the ear rather than around it, which can be a bit uncomfortable after about 30 mins or so. With both connections I always had a clear connection when using it with Microsoft Teams, and the others could hear me with no distortion. The microphone is fixed to the headset but has a flexible connection. The USB connection is a separate cord and the 3.5mm jack plugs into it, which makes for a long extension. However, when connecting the headphones direct to the laptop direct through the 3.5mm jack, the cord is fairly short so movement is limited. Anonymous says: 28/03/2022 at This wired computer headset is everything as described in the product description. I have used this headset with my laptop for video conferencing running on the Microsoft Teams platform. Before I started, I went through the product guide that was supplied with the product to make sure I understand the product’s features and its functionality. The headset is known as CL721T on my computer, as described in the product guide. To get the headset to work with Microsoft Teams, I had to select CL721T for audio device within Microsoft Teams’ settings. I feel this headset is perfect for video conferencing because it incorporates a microphone. While wearing this headset, I can now sit in a good distance away from my laptop and people can hear what I have to say clearly and I can hear what people are saying clearly. I look more natural to other people on camera. In the past, when I was on video conference without the headset, I had to rely on my laptop’s speaker and sit very close to my laptop and its camera to hear what people had to say, so I looked ridiculous on camera to other people . The headset’s ear pieces are not fixed and can be turned 45 degree to face outward, so it can fit inside a slip case easily when I want to store it away. The headset’s control panel is very helpful. It allows me to turn the microphone on and off by a press of a button; The button shows blue when the microphone is on; the same button shows red when the microphone is off. There is a button for turning the headset’s speakers on and off. One button to increase the speakers’ sound volume and another button to decrease their sound volume. I now have all these controls in one place. I feel comfortable wearing this headset. I was able to adjust the headset’s adjustable headband to fit my head easily. I would recommend this headset to you. 5 stars. Anonymous says: 27/03/2022 at These headphones are comfortable, have good sound quality and the mic is ok. What I don’t like is they make my ears sweaty due to the material the pads are made of. Can’t really argue with the value for money though. VictorinaRoten says: 13/03/2022 at This headset branded by XAPROO is comfortable, adjustable, and has a decent sound quality. I am impressed with how well this headset works during my online conference calls. It was delivered in a plain brown cardboard box. It is lightweight, comfortable, and produces a decent sound that’s far better than I expected. I have a Windows 10 desktop computer and tested this on it and was pleased to see that it worked flawlessly. The microphone is extremely sensitive and picks up my voice even when I speak quietly. The headset features a plush, padded headband and ear cups. It has a built-in unidirectional microphone that can be positioned close to the mouth to capture sound clearly. The microphone features noise canceling technology to reduce background noise and allows clearer calls. It works flawlessly with Microsoft Teams, Skype, Zoom, and other similar applications. When conducting conference calls or other online meetings, the mute feature comes in handy. It was simple to use and worked right away. I just plugged it in and began using it. Using the control panel on the USB headset, you can adjust the sound volume and mute your microphone. Included in this set are 1 Computer Headset with Microphone, 1 Detachable USB Cable with Control Panel, and 1 User’s Guide. Overall, for the price of 16.99, I got a decent working headset. It is comfortable and adjustable to fit your head and a good value for money. Anonymous says: 09/03/2022 at This arrives in a plain brown cardboard box with a big sticker on it (white sticker, black writing) to tell you the contents & specifications. Box measures 17.5cm x 20cm x 5.5cm. Inside, you get the headset with the mic permanently fixed to the left headphone (headphones are labelled L & R on the inside of the band). The lead which goes to the your computer is also on the left hand side & comes in two sections. You also get a little foam windscreen to pop over the mic which helps cut down on ‘wind’ noises (breathing noises etc..) which does a fair job. There is a small instruction manual which states this is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7/8/9/10 & Mac OS/Mobile Devices. You’ll find it listed on your device as CL721T if you need to choose your input/output. I tested this on a Windows 10 laptop (& also plugged it into my Kindle just to try the headphones) – worked fine on both without having to do anything, just plug & play. If you want to use the inline controller, you plug the jack (which is on the end of the wire fixed from the bottom of the left headphone) into the end of the controller, then plug the USB on the end of the wire coming out the opposite end of the controller into your computer. The buttons are a bit clicky but it’s a nice comfortable size/shape in your hands & works well. If you want to use the jack to connect to your computer, then you can’t use the inline controller & the lead is shorter. Lead from headphone to end of jack is approx 1m 5cm long. If you plug it into the controller you get another 1m 20cm (including 9cm of controller) so a total of approx 2m 25cm long with USB connection. I have to admit I have some really decent professional equipment which I am used to using so these took me a minute to get used to because they do feel really cheap. To be fair, they ARE really cheap at 10. When you adjust the headband (each side adjusts separately), it sounds a bit clunky but it does the job & stays where you’ve adjusted it to. I’m a female adult with a fairly small head & the smallest setting was not quite big enough for me so I’d say this is suitable for teens & up. The headphones can swivel round on the ends of the band so you can fold them ‘flat’ in line with the width of the band to store more easily or put in a bag. The sound that comes out of these is really very good & far better than I was expecting & the microphone works well too. I tested the mic with Dragon software (a voice dictation program) & it worked perfectly. I honestly didn’t think I’d be so pleased with these but I’m pretty shocked at how decent they are for the price. They are lightweight, fairly comfortable (although I don’t think I could wear these for more than half an hour to an hour at a time because they are not THAT comfortable to me) & decent enough for a fairly professional sounding call. Music played through them wasn’t bad either. For 10 I had to give these 5 stars. Anonymous says: 09/03/2022 at These headphones are a little bit on the tight side for my husband as after four hours in conferences they did clamp his head a bit too hard and give him a headache. Hopefully overtime they will ease up. The headphone part is very padded so sticks out from your head quite far. It is easy to hear from them however the sound picked up on the microphone does sound a bit rubbish as whilst in a conference everybody reported that it sounded like I was really far away from the microphone. Great as a back up or for somebody who isn’t spending all day in online conferences. M.C. says: 08/03/2022 at This headset is pretty impressive in that it has a USB connector (with control buttons for volume and mute), but that can be detached to use just a 3.5mm jack instead. The ear pads look chunky, but are actually ok to use. Sound quality is ok – not great, but perfectly fine for audio conversations. The mic when positioned near your mouth is pretty reasonable. In fact the whole set up is perfectly adequate for video calls, lasting over an hour meeting without any discomfort. Overall, if you’re WFH a lot and had a wireless headset, you might want to consider having this as a spare set for usages in situations where your battery runs out. Alternatively they could also work as the main headset without problems too. Overall very impressive given at time of review, this is only 9 (10 with additional 10% off)! Bargain headset which can work on USB or 3.5mm jack EkoustiQ42 says: 07/03/2022 at At just uner 17 this is a great budget priced headset. the ear phones are well padded with a soft foam and leatherette covering. the headphones also fold flat which I love as it makes storing them in adrawer so much easier than bulky fixed ear phones and in my experience the flexibility make sthem less likely to break. they come with a control board so that you can take calls, increase/decrease volume, speaker on/off toggle or mute the microphone. The micrphone comes with a foam cover and picks up even quiet and low speech. It has a USB ended cable on one side of the control panel and a 3.5mm jack is fitted into the other side of the panel if you prefer to use that. The headband is also adjustable. The sound quality is good and the set feels light and comfortable on the head. Good for the price. Great Budget Headse johnboy says: 06/03/2022 at Works really good! When using these headphones for the first time it was like the only thing I can hear is the person I’m speaking to, no noise from my background, fit my head comfortably, the cushion on my ears I think are pretty comfortable also, they don’t make my ears red or sweaty feeling. Like how they are adjustable around the head also. Noise cancellation is really good, comfortable on my ears Thomas Garvey says: 04/03/2022 at I needed a headset so that I could do some language training online without the volume being turned up and disturbing my wife. This headset was easy to use, it worked straight away, I simply plugged it in and started using it. The volume was very good, I had to turn the level way down on my laptop as otherwise it was too loud in my ears. The microphone was very sensitive, I only spoke very quietly and the microphone correctly picked up my attempts at repeating the phrases. You could plug the headphones directly into a 3.5mm microphone socket, but this comes with a control for you to mute the microphone, or to allow you to increase or decrease the volume, all worked well. The mute feature is very useful if you are doing conference calls or other online meetings with MS Teams or Zoom for example so that you can still mute your voice when others are talking. The headset seemed pretty comfortable on the ears, and at 16.99 doesn’t seem bad value for money. Anonymous says: 02/03/2022 at This headset comes in a plain box and the headset itself feels really well made and good. The range of buttons to control it makes it simple and quick to mute, turn up and turn down the volume. The mic is good because you can move it easily and it’s all great! Great headset for working
