The weight of this step down converter is the first thing you’ll notice.
I bought as I had purchased some hifi equipment from Japan that required 100v.
This thing is a beast and very well built, steps the voltage down perfectly and I’m very impressed.
I bought this so I could use an American instapot with UK domestic electricity. Works perfectly every time. Even when pressure cooking. Has on/off switch so not on permanently unless you want it to be. Two points for plugs.
Minus quite heavy and bulky 9.5 inches by just over 7 (24 cm x 18 roughly). Weight nearly 9 kg on my bathroom scales which are only simple but gives you an idea.
This was my second attempt at buying a transformer for a US purchased product. I did not realize the amount of wattage needed as well as the usual ” adapter ” required for the piece of equipment I had purchased. The first transformer just broke!…. It couldn’t deal with the wattage required. A simple Google investigation taught me I needed ” a bigger boat”… well I got one! No problems at all with it and, if I ever decide to get another electrical product from US, it has a second socket!
A good compact transformer for the kitchen, for our US appliances (mostly Keurig coffee maker). Clean, compact style that fits well into our kitchen with safety features.

Good value and quick delive
I like the design. You can lay it on its side . The plugs are on the front and rear. I drive over 100W of 110v studd without issue.
Overall as advertised. One of the plug sockets is really difficult to use
Although the unit was bigger than expected, it works great ! I would definitely recommend this product. Easy to use and good design.
Stylish and it fits our purpose, that is, using it with a Krups coffee maker we bought from US. The coffee maker requires 900 W and the converter works perfectly. It blends in very well in our kitchen. We have been having it for a month and are happy about it.
