I bought this to paint a summerhouse I’d built. I personally hate painting but this machine? What a machine..what a finish! I’d used Tricoya mdf on the outside of the structure and needed a smooth, professional looking finish and this sprayer didn’t disappoint.
It was the first time I’d ever used any kind of paint sprayer and after thoroughly reading the instructions, it really was a walk in the park. Worth every penny and then some.
My only luck was that I have ordered the 60cm extension also so the nozzle on that one was ok to use..
So disappointing, but what’s even more disappointing is that I cannot register the product for the 3+1 year warranty, no EU site for that, there is a link to an US warranty registration page where you insert the details and then you’re left in limbo…no confirmation email no nothing, don’t even know if I have registered or not.. so weird.
One tip, don’t start on a low number, the amount of paint that comes out seems to be the same but not dispersed as well as at higher pressures!
After not reading the manual and figuring it out solo, this gun gave great results but you either need to be spraying an empty room with no flooring or spend a ton of time prepping to cover everything. I cannot express EVERYTHING enough!
I made the initial mistake of laying a few dust sheets…you need to weigh them down as the spray gun pressure will blow them all over the place and paint will get on the floor
Great product though and gave perfect results. Just stand a meter away, high pressure (number 5) and steady / consistent movement to get even coverage
Importantly, I was in the middle of having to spray a large number of fence panels when my current sprayer gave up completely. The replacement ordered from Amazon was competitively priced and delivered within 48 hours.
I used this to spray my house with undiluted smooth masonry paint (Dulux weathershield) and it did the job perfectly at only power setting 3 out of 5. It performed flawlessly with no drop in performance even at the leak of the gable wall.
Enter the Control Pro 350M. This machine is absolutely fantastic. It gets right into the block work and the finish is just spectacular. Preparation is key, it’s incredibly boring and hard on the knees but get yourself some duct tape and a big roll of brown Kraft paper and just cover everything. Today was really gusty. There was the odd spray that just disappeared over the horizon. This could be an issue so be careful as you don’t want to spend the next weekend scrubbing overspray off your neighbours windows. However, even under these suboptimal conditions it worked extremely well.
I sprayed a coat of farrow and ball Masonry & Plaster Stabilising Primer (diluted 10%, dial on 2) and it worked extremely well. Make sure you clean everything well straight away after this and wear a face mask while spraying.
Left that for 24 hrs and then 2 coats (separated by about 2 hrs) of farrow and ball exterior masonry paint, colour was Inchyra blue. The result was top notch. I diluted by 25% and had the dial on 3, this delivered hardly any blobs/dribbles and any that did just rub them off straight away with wet cloth.
There was the odd spot that did I did not mask well enough and got covered (to my dismay) but wife strode out confidently with some nail polish remover and sorted it out. Solid.
Btw:
– You don’t need the extension unless you’re painting ceilings.
– Mix paint really well with a drill.
– I’ve never sprayed, watch a few YouTubes, it’s easier than I expected.
– Preparation is a pig. However, it is the key to great results, stick a podcast on and get in with it.
-if you get dribbles, dilute a further 5-10% and turn pressure up 1/2 a notch.
– Cleaning isn’t that bad, you’ve done the work so crack a beer and just clean it.
– I’m so impressed with the results I would happily use it for a single, small room. Even though rolling would be quicker and less hassle.
Trying to get through to customer service team is very bad .. I had a leak on my machine and I sent it back over 3 weeks ago.. and I’m trying to contact them to see what is going on… I’ll get someone to call you back if you manage to get through on the phone but they never call you back… it’s a shame it’s a good sprayer… but if anything goes wrong… they don’t want to know
Product great gives a great finish and easy to use and clea
This is the most efficient tool that I have ever used for painting. Set up was straightforward. Operation was fairly easy having followed the instructions to the letter. First application of paint had runs in it as I had set the pressure too low (2). Better results at 3. Cleaning was not as arduous as the instructions imply.
It’s great machine only problem is no real helpful instructions about the art of spraying ie pressure for different paints etc.
I was a bit unsure as I had seen mixed reviews but have just painted this whole room in first coat walls and ceilings in 45 minutes with no issues at all. Well worth it. The only thing you need to do is masking tape up absolutely everything you don’t want paint o
1. contract matt emulsion with the correct filter and nozzle (according to instructions) will need to be watered down by 10-20%
2. the pick up / collector needs to be submerged well below the surface of the paint, otherwise the machine loses pressure, the pump stays on and the gun just dribbles. Its clear to identify, and happened repeatedly when the 10 litre paint tub got down to around half full (despite the pick-up being well submerged.
3. cleaning is best done by pulling through clean water for a few minutes (with spray nozzle removed), then give the gun, filter and pick-up a thorough clean. You can avoid wasting paint by catching the watery paint in a container and use the next day to dilute your neat paint.
its not quite as messy as I expected, doing ceilings goes everywhere as you might expect, but with walls its not bad, and the spray focus is pretty good. Its a nice bit of kit that will save time if you have a lot of surface to paint. Probably not ideal for the home, but warehouses, commercial premises etc., its ideal. And at this price, cheaper than hiring something similar.
Speed and ease of use (lookup some youtube vids) are great.
But the cleanup is significant.
But the speed is really great, and you can re-apply your coat very quickly, many times if needed (think old weathered fence panels outside).
Like the speed you could do a wall dislike could do with helper to move ladders and mix paint. Overall makes a nice Finnish.
The bad is the time it took to mask up, the disruption, the overspray, the fabric that allowed overspray to seep through. In short, making and cleaning was a nightmare. I came away thinking what a great tool it is in the right circumstances. If you have an empty house to paint, this is the machine for you! If you have several large surfaces to paint, it will do it in no time. Getting the paint mix right was relatively easy. The gun was fine, easy to use… but hard to clean. This is another minus – cleaning the machine and pipework. I wanted it to be spotless so it took a long time. Again, this is all about the amount of painting you have to do – the more the merrier. The less the more miserable. It is that simple.
You need to make sure you prep the area you are painting. Making sure you mask the areas you don’t want painting. There is a little spray but so long as you mask it will be fine.
You do need decent paint and I liked to have use a 10l matt for the walls. I tried 5l, but found it I used it quickly on 2 rooms. I also watered the paint slightly to help it flow – viscosity is key.
I did living room (walls and ceiling) plus 2 bedrooms and kitchen. Took me 1h 30 mins to complete the job.
Clean up is easy. Again there are instruction on You Tube on doing this. Took about 20 mins to clean the machine of paint.
It did take me a few goes to get into the flow (no pun intended) but once you get the idea of viscosity, it is really easy to do and the machine does all the work for you.
This sprayer is awsome and very useful. Dont think that cause you got this its ot time consuming as it is time consuming setting up and masking and priming and then the cleaning of the machine. Apart from that it leaves excellent finish and is worth the effort of using the sprayer.

Makes light work of rooms and the finish is fantastic. Recommend watching YouTube for how to use efficiently.
I had decided to buy this version I which I think s pure genius. What a beautiful machine
Easy to set up , does all I needed for the job
Good product , eassy to clean and to use , is doing what is say and wery practical tool
I like everything about this product the whole house of 4 bedrooms was done in just one day I will always recommend
After few hours painting I can say clearly is worth every penny.
Very good finish on the wall i need more practice still had a lot of overspray but think that was my inexperience rather than the machine
I sprayed the roof in the picture in about 20 minutes. Sprayed a newly built 15m X 3m room, including ceiling, in about 20 minutes. Was using a 417 Graco spray tip both times. The 250m sprayed relatively thick wood primer that wasn’t thinned just fine also.
Don’t get an extension pole for the sprayer as you will get drips everytime you release the trigger unless it’s an extension pole with a pressure valve that prevents drips… You should be releasing trigger before the end of every hand movement and then pulling trigger again just after you begin your return hand movement. This is how you spray unlike what I’ve seen in most of the videos on YouTube with the 250 and 350 Wagner. If you hold the trigger while changing direction, you will have thick paint at the point where your hand slowed down and changed direction, and this will lead to runs and a poorer finish.
So I used vasplar v700 emulsion, diluted with 25% (1 liter water over 5l paint). I use their lance tool too. The lance is disproportionately expensive, but worth the investment.
With dilution you archive better even and smooth effect. And generally you don’t need to worry about over painting or “bands”. Once dry you can paint over again. No marks.
But it is not for oil base paint or on small intricate objects unless you are a pro car body shop technician. It dripped!!!
I spent weeks to sand down and repaint after the eggshell disaster! And you will spent a lot on white spirit for rinsing.
Fantastic product, takes 2 minutes to spray a 6 x 6 fence panel both sides! Great finish no waste, easy to clean, well worth i
Easy to setup, allows painting of room very quickly, preparation is the key
I would call this an occasional use machine. I did have problems with thinned paint separating out with the thinner paint rising to top of the cans which caused the spray to sputter. A neighbour who is a professional decorator told me to buy a Tiger Kit paint mixer which attaches to a drill. When I used that the paint that stayed well mixed and I didn’t have any problems. It’s a joy to use, but masking up is not much fun.
First time using a paint sprayer. Was a steep learning curve but after some YouTube videos finally got it and completed a full 2 bed house. Little overspray but the feed struggles to pick up the last bit of paint in a bucke
Painted 2 storey house with 3 layers of paint in 3 days. Ideal for the job with the long reach hose. Takes an hour to run through the cleaning process though at the end of the day.
Watch a few of the videos, get your head around the pressure dial (1-5) it’s not really hard and then crack on painting. You will be amazed, I very rarely write reviews. But this was worth it. Saves a fortune one labour cost and / or your personal time.
Just make sure you clean it well!
Fuffin brilliant ! Good piece of kit for beginners and pros alike
