Absolutely fantastic, easy set up, easy clean up, perfect for beginners looking to get into spraying, highly recommended.
did a whole ground floor 4 rooms in a day, considering in 74 not bad hey….cant get any easier and the finish just perfect.
Awesome,
I was a bit unsure as I had seen mixed reviews but have just painted this whole room in first coat walls and ceilings in 45 minutes with no issues at all. Well worth it. The only thing you need to do is masking tape up absolutely everything you don’t want paint o
Easy to setup and use , copes well even with masonry pai
The instructions are seriously lacking, but once mastered, this machine works well. Took me around 3 hours to figure out the quirks, so to save you some time:
1. contract matt emulsion with the correct filter and nozzle (according to instructions) will need to be watered down by 10-20%
2. the pick up / collector needs to be submerged well below the surface of the paint, otherwise the machine loses pressure, the pump stays on and the gun just dribbles. Its clear to identify, and happened repeatedly when the 10 litre paint tub got down to around half full (despite the pick-up being well submerged.
3. cleaning is best done by pulling through clean water for a few minutes (with spray nozzle removed), then give the gun, filter and pick-up a thorough clean. You can avoid wasting paint by catching the watery paint in a container and use the next day to dilute your neat paint.
its not quite as messy as I expected, doing ceilings goes everywhere as you might expect, but with walls its not bad, and the spray focus is pretty good. Its a nice bit of kit that will save time if you have a lot of surface to paint. Probably not ideal for the home, but warehouses, commercial premises etc., its ideal. And at this price, cheaper than hiring something similar.
Speed and ease of use (lookup some youtube vids) are great.
But the cleanup is significant.
But the speed is really great, and you can re-apply your coat very quickly, many times if needed (think old weathered fence panels outside).
I don’t know where should I start with this brilliant tool. This will save you both money and time and make stunning final results.
I ordered Wagner 250m specifically for the restoration of patios and driveways and applying different restoration and sealing products.
I have done my first job today and finished x6 faster than before with way better results. Once you get used to it you will love it! The spray pattern is perfect and it is smooth as butter, it made my day a lot better when I started using it and noticed how much easier it makes my life and job.
The main advice I would give is to read the instructions thoroughly and understand how this sprayer should be operated and most importantly how it should be maintained. Spend a few days watching videos if you have to, as instructions could be complicated in the beginning. Once you get on with it it will make your life a dream.
The sprayer can be used in less than 10 minutes (including assembly), but the key to good results is preparation and getting to know the tool itself. Be sure to mask any surface where you do not want the paint to land. I cannot say for indoor use as I still didn’t have a chance to do anything inside but for outdoor floor surfaces, it is key that you mask at least 1m-1.5m in height and at least 1m around ALL edges. After you mask all surrounding surfaces have a piece of cardboard or something similar in your hand and use it to prevent overspray. This is only as an additional item to use and make sure no paint lands on any other surface other than the one you are painting.
After you finish the job, it is CRITICAL to clean it thoroughly and make sure that only clean water is what you can see coming from both suction and return lines and from the gun itself. As well all parts of the gun should be cleaned. If you make one mistake and don’t clean the sprayer immediately after the job you will witness 470 going into the bin as if the paint dries inside there is nothing else you can do but throw the sprayer and get a new one.
TIP: Do not put the dirty hose immediately in the bucket with clean water. Take the hoses off first and clean them separately. Put back the hoses after you clean them and then take the next steps as per instructions. This will save you time and you will be able to clean everything a lot faster.
The slightest issue I had on unboxing Wagner 250m was the gun itself. A very small amount of corrosion was behind the trigger which luckily didn’t affect anything.
To summarise: Wagner 250m saved me a minimum of 4-6 hours compared to using a roller (outdoor surfaces differ and are a lot more porous therefore it takes a very long time to paint them with the roller and brush). Next, I’ve used x4 times less material and got a way better finish. When I transfer the amount of material that it saved me it comes out at nearly 200 less. This is crazy. If you run your own business, you know what I am talking about. Anyway, you do not have to run the business to understand the numbers that I am mentioning. If you are a heavy DIYer and are looking to improve efficiency and quality and at the same time save money, this is a way to go.
Like the speed you could do a wall dislike could do with helper to move ladders and mix paint. Overall makes a nice Finnish.
Painted our large kitchen in a day. The finish is excellent. The spraying was done in the time it would have taken me to paint one wall with a brush – not the ceiling. That essentially is the good thing.
The bad is the time it took to mask up, the disruption, the overspray, the fabric that allowed overspray to seep through. In short, making and cleaning was a nightmare. I came away thinking what a great tool it is in the right circumstances. If you have an empty house to paint, this is the machine for you! If you have several large surfaces to paint, it will do it in no time. Getting the paint mix right was relatively easy. The gun was fine, easy to use… but hard to clean. This is another minus – cleaning the machine and pipework. I wanted it to be spotless so it took a long time. Again, this is all about the amount of painting you have to do – the more the merrier. The less the more miserable. It is that simple.
Bought this as we are moving house. Easy to set up. There are loads of YouTube videos explaining how to set it up if you prefer that to an instruction guide.
You need to make sure you prep the area you are painting. Making sure you mask the areas you don’t want painting. There is a little spray but so long as you mask it will be fine.
You do need decent paint and I liked to have use a 10l matt for the walls. I tried 5l, but found it I used it quickly on 2 rooms. I also watered the paint slightly to help it flow – viscosity is key.
I did living room (walls and ceiling) plus 2 bedrooms and kitchen. Took me 1h 30 mins to complete the job.
Clean up is easy. Again there are instruction on You Tube on doing this. Took about 20 mins to clean the machine of paint.
It did take me a few goes to get into the flow (no pun intended) but once you get the idea of viscosity, it is really easy to do and the machine does all the work for you.
Easy to use but does take a lot of water to clean it. Brilliant coverage
I have now sprayed 2 rooms and spraying is so much faster, but have had some trial and error with thinning the pai
Have used this a couple of times and whilst it’s a steep learning curve to master it does make decorating easier and the finish makes it look seamless and professional
Fantastic product, not the cheapest but pays for its self full 4 bed house from scratch in 11 hrs walls and ceiling’s, 4 different colours 5 sta
I had decided to buy this version I which I think s pure genius. What a beautiful machine
For no mess (well less than decorating in e traditional method) this machine will
Make things a breeze for you. Just basically mask what you don’t want to paint!! Different nozzles and filters allow for versatility. Water based or solvent based paints are fine, just religiously clean afterwards with the appropriate cleaner white spirit (oil based) or soap and water (water based) – nozzles clog with some paints, but it’s reversible and easy to get clear again. Really great for any house project, ideal for empty houses

Used for painting garden fence and it was fantastic.
You can angle the spray head to minimise spraying into the neighbours garden. We had large 10l paint tubs, so it was a matter of placing the suction head in there and painting for a few hours. I did water the paint down the first time I used it, but found it wasn’t needed. I spent 20 minutes cleaning the sprayer at the end of each day.
Not like messing around filing small paint pots and using brushes – or even the poor fence-spray type products.

This brilliant, i wasn’t looking forward to painting the exterior of my property as the render is rough cast, this was my saviour.
You might need to add water so some paint products as i did after consulting the paint manufacturer.
Other than that it was easy to use and quick.

Very pleased with the product. No leaks, easy to assemble and easy to use. Sprayed two ceilings and a wall on a 1:10 ratio with emulsion. Excellent results with perfect finish and accurate spraying with very little overspray. A little noisy but you can cover large areas so quickly. A couple of buckets makes cleaning easy and quick.

I wanted to wait before reviewing, I have to say it’s a fantastic bit of kit, once familiar with set up, it leaves a really great finish and even with preparation and cleaning, it’s way way faster than traditional methods.
Highly recommend

Very good finish on the wall i need more practice still had a lot of overspray but think that was my inexperience rather than the machine
I’m blown away with this, and have just painted a 5 bedroom newly plastered house in 4 days! It took 3 days to mask off properly, but overall I’d say it’s saved me 2 weeks. 3 coats (including mist) and the coverage is excellent.
Set up is quick and easy, cleaning takes 20 mins or so to do properly but is also easy and well worth it if you have a lot of painting to achieve in one hit.
This was my first time using an airless sprayer and I made a few mistakes but all easily rectified.
Money well spent for me, and I can highly recommend the Wagner 350M.
Tip: if taping polythene over windows etc., still hold a board against so not too much paint spray gets on the polythene. If it does, the weight can pull the tape off! I learnt the hard way 🙂

Been spraying for a number of years with much larger industrial sprayers. I bought the 250m for portability and interior use. It is much more capable than I expected. It’s about equivalent to half pressure on a Graco petrol sprayer which is many times larger.
I sprayed the roof in the picture in about 20 minutes. Sprayed a newly built 15m X 3m room, including ceiling, in about 20 minutes. Was using a 417 Graco spray tip both times. The 250m sprayed relatively thick wood primer that wasn’t thinned just fine also.
Don’t get an extension pole for the sprayer as you will get drips everytime you release the trigger unless it’s an extension pole with a pressure valve that prevents drips… You should be releasing trigger before the end of every hand movement and then pulling trigger again just after you begin your return hand movement. This is how you spray unlike what I’ve seen in most of the videos on YouTube with the 250 and 350 Wagner. If you hold the trigger while changing direction, you will have thick paint at the point where your hand slowed down and changed direction, and this will lead to runs and a poorer finish.
I did abit of research of the Wagner Air Control pro and thought given the reviews are by “men” I would buy it to see if a non trade female could use this. So I did and can safely say, i found the functionality and end finish, just simply gorgeous. I was able to use both paint and gloss. I have included a picture of the finished end result! In my opinion, the paint job was second to none.

After my disastrous attempt of oil base eggshell on vintage cast iron radiators I finally got the hang of it as a DIY amateur.
So I used vasplar v700 emulsion, diluted with 25% (1 liter water over 5l paint). I use their lance tool too. The lance is disproportionately expensive, but worth the investment.
With dilution you archive better even and smooth effect. And generally you don’t need to worry about over painting or “bands”. Once dry you can paint over again. No marks.
But it is not for oil base paint or on small intricate objects unless you are a pro car body shop technician. It dripped!!!
I spent weeks to sand down and repaint after the eggshell disaster! And you will spent a lot on white spirit for rinsing.

First time using a paint sprayer. Was a steep learning curve but after some YouTube videos finally got it and completed a full 2 bed house. Little overspray but the feed struggles to pick up the last bit of paint in a bucke
Painted 2 storey house with 3 layers of paint in 3 days. Ideal for the job with the long reach hose. Takes an hour to run through the cleaning process though at the end of the day.
Watch a few of the videos, get your head around the pressure dial (1-5) it’s not really hard and then crack on painting. You will be amazed, I very rarely write reviews. But this was worth it. Saves a fortune one labour cost and / or your personal time.
Just make sure you clean it well!
Sprayed my house in 2 hours.
It costs a nice bit but the time saved will make you more money
works grate for all types of paint. Inside outside
Best thing ever for painting, so far I have used it outdoors, my garden is over an acre with a wooden perimeter fence, entire fence (which is a huge surface area) painted over two days, including fiddly edges! Amazing. Only reason it took two days was that I ran out of paint. I only wish I had invested in this years ago. My next project is respraying my kitchen cupboard doors, looking forward to turning another mammoth job into a quick project. Cleaning machine isn’t as bad as you would imagine, you need to be prepared to spend time cleaning it properly otherwise it would not be worth spending the money on this machine. I spend about 30minutes making sure it is meticulously to protect my investment. Well worth the money!

When looking at painting the whole of our barn conversion, I looked at saving money on paying for a professional decorator to paint all internal walls. As I had so many square metres of plastered/skimmed wall to paint I decided to buy this spray gun after looking in to on-line written and video reviews. The results I’ve got with this spray gun are little short of spectacular. Whilst the painting is really fast, preparation of the wall and masking up windows and steel girders to protect them from the spray does take HOURS. This is not a criticism as preparation for most things is where jobs can be awful or amazing. I went over all walls with my hand to ‘feel’ for nibs of plaster and removed these with sandpaper and then took time to mask off window frames. I also found a few great tips and hints to get the most out of the gun, such as ensuring the cable was clear of all items to avoid snagging during spraying… and making sure spray starts and ends away from the wall (to avoid drip regions). I’ve had quite a few trades in and all have been really impressed with the paint job. I cant recommend this product highly enough. It does need cleaning through thoroughly after each panting session but after a few sessions you get pretty slick at emptying the paint back into the tin and as the diluted paint starts coming through, divert this to a separate tin and use later to dilute new paint. I also found that i needed to really look after the nozzle parts. If I took a break I remove the nozzle and wash it through leaving it in warm water for the next session as this can get bunged up leading to ‘spits’ of paint if left. The great advantage of this system is (i) quality of finish – I could never get a finish like this with a roller or brush (ii) speed – it seems to apply a few coats at once so although it gets through the 10L pots quickly, its putting a thick coat (maybe equivalent to 2-3 coats with a brush?) in one go (iii) consistency – if you are methodical in applying the paint (you have to keep a constant speed or you’ll get light patches or pooling of paint) the look is amazing. I’ve had NO experience painting with a spray gun before buying this and following the instructions you’ll get a fantastic paint finish. I found that the finish i got was as good with ‘good’ paint (paint shops recommended own brand) as it was with expensive brands (such as Dulux). I don’t think anyone can tell which rooms are finished with which paint. I’m sure this is due to the spray gun. I didn’t find cheaper paint causing any problems with the spray gun indeed, a 5-10% water dilution (with VERY THOROUGH mixing using a drill mixer) was ideal with all paints used. I’ve not tried the ‘Diamond’ Dulux paint through the spray gun (for scrubbable areas of wall such as hallways) but I expect it is just as good. I’ve had 2 offers to buy the machine after I’ve finished with it… the results have been that good. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Awesome bit of kit. Produces a fabulous finish. Lots of masking involved though and you do need to have the skill in spraying which is very important.
Only issue I would have liked some shorter hoses as well as the long one.
Overall Fabulous
Very happy with this sprayer. I have been painting big houses on my own for many years with brush and roller. What used to be two week’s work is now done in 4 days. Bit of a learning curve but not hard to master after watching some YouTube videos. I use Dulux trade vinyl Matt and add about 10% water. Finish is perfect. Sometimes I backroll for too quality finish or in areas touch up will be necessary. Overall very happy with purchase, and have got really into spraying. Despite product claims I do not recommend for wood trim though and have purchased separate hvlp sprayer for doors and skirting boards.

I have painted two houses,( all exterior walls) this week, used 140 litres of paint, cannot fault this spray equipment. Thinned masonry paint , mixed with paddle and drill. Excellent spray pattern, very controllable , found best setting at number 2 on pressure control. Meticulous cleaning is essential, oil after cleaning into suction inlet, will last for years, paid for itself already. Very impressed. Throw the brushes and rollers away!

I purchased the 350 M sprayer and it’s brilliant. I am painting out a large workshop area and I started with the roller and brush method – it took me about 4 days to do half of it when someone told me about the airless sprayers – I had never heard of them. I wish I had sooner – what took me 2 days with the roller and brush I did in 2 hours, it’s amazing and really easy to use and it leaves a really nice finish. So the down side is that you must mask any areas you don’t want spraying and cover the floor really well it’s not so much spills but the fine mist will cover anything you don’t cover. Cleaning the machine isn’t difficult but takes a little longer perhaps than cleaning a roller and tray but who cares when it saves so much time. The machine isn’t bulky or heavy and is easy to move around all you need to do is plug it into a power supply. Would I recommend this product – absolutely – it’s already paid for itself in the time it’s saved me.

Bought this to paint an entire new build house. I’m about a week in and I’m loving this sprayer more and more. It’s not for the faint hearted as there is a pretty steep learning curve to get it up and running well. I’ve done a bit of painting with rollers and brushes in my time and the finish this sprayer can give is simply sublime. Once you’re up and running and working on your technique it gets a lot easier. I find a lot of time can go into the masking of windows and stuff beforehand but it’s probably the same amount of time that goes into cutting in with a brush before you get rolling. Masking is nearly an art in itself and I’m already getting quicker and more efficient at it, which is quite satisfying. It’s a well made machine, in fairness, I own a Wagner heat gun too and they make a very tasty bit of kit. Check out “The Idaho Painter” on YouTube for lots of great videos to get you up and running, love that guy. Finally, cleaning it is actually a doddle as you just run water through it (when using emulsion) instead of paint until it’s clean, so really it kinda cleans itself out. Love it.

Painted pebble dash outside my house. Watering down good paint seems counter productive. Water paint by 20%. Happy with job and machine. Good finish!
Decent machine. I’ve had no problems with it getting blocked…
Saves a lot of time on new plaster and ceilings especially!
Excellent sprayer. The new HEA tips that are provided are also excellent as they give you 55% less overspray compared to older spray tips. Easy enough to set up and clean out. As a professional painter and decorator its something i wish invested years ago, a lot of time has already been saved, not to mention the excellent finish you get compared to brush and roller. Very good value for money too compared to graco or titan alternatives. Highly recommended.

Very good value for money too compared to graco or titan alternatives. Highly recommended.
