I used it for the first time and found it to be really nice. Have to be extremely careful while handling it. Being a smaller compact one, it gets hot all over. So the mitt is a must buy. Need not be a Weber mitt, you can get anything.

It is a great product if you love to do barbeque. You would need to have a patience as it takes at least 20 minutes to half an hour for around 400g chicken.
Good product, can be used indoors, though sometimes it does give out quite a bit of smoke. Ideal for outdoor grills though.

Great design and compact. Nuts and bolts were missing in the courier. It took us approximately 30 mins to grill chicken drum sticks.

Usual Weber quality. We have had a larger BBQ in the garden for years – this did not disappoint.
Piccolo e molto pratico, si pu tenere sul tavolo perch le zampe non scaldano. Necessita di molta meno carbonella del fratello maggiore. Ottimo per piccole grigliate

Come da titolo, piccolo, ma questa anche la sua forza se usato ad esempio, per scampagnate. La qualit buona ed il prezzo abbastanza conveniente. L’unica pecca secondo me che la circolazione d’aria non ottimale: i bricchetti ricevono ossigeno dal lato e non dal basso e questo unito alle piccole dimensioni rende difficile la gestione della combustione e quindi della temperatura.

Der kleine Grill funktioniert super! Bisher habe ich ihn allerdings noch nicht als “Backofen”, sondern nur als Grill benutzt.
Er stand nun zwei Sommer lang auf dem nicht berdachten Balkon, ungeschtzt dem Wetter ausgesetzt. Das konnte dem ueren nichts anhaben, der Grill sieht immer noch aus wie neu. Zur berwinterung kommt er in den Keller.
Ja klar der Preis tut einemals Student schon weh im Geldbeutel…
Doch trotz seiner geringen Gre steht er seinen groen Brdern in nichts nach.
Khle glht schnell an, er ist robust, unempfindlich und super mobil.
Grillabenden mit freundn Zuhause oder im Park steht nichts mehr im Weg .

Der Kleine kam mit allen Schrauben, Muttern und sonstigen Einzelteilen. Der Aufbau war problemlos. Die Funktion einwandfrei, sofern man sich an die Garzeiten hlt und sich zwingt, den Deckel geschlossen zu halten. Fr Kugelgrillneulinge braucht es eine gewisse berwindung. Der Kleine ist gut – klare Empfehlung fr alle, die einen transportablen Grill suchen.
Der Zusammenbau ist einfach und kann durch eine Person vorgenommen werden. Der Grill ist fr zwei Personen genau passend und passt auch auf einen Balkon. Der Innenraum ist gro genug, um einen Anzndekamin zu verwenden. Die Hitzeentwicklung ist sehr gut, die Reinigung fllt leicht. Durch den abgerundeten Boden staut sich unter dem Grill auch keine Hitze. Die Verarbeitung ist solide, ich hoffe, an meinem Smokey Joe noch lange Freude zu haben. Meines Erachtens ist er seinen Preis wert!
I bought this for my brother’s birthday and I don’t think he’s used it yet, but he was very pleased with it.
Looked for ages at reviews and as it was hard to find a bad one for these little barbies I splashed out and I’m pleased that I did. The quality of this product is fab, it’s certainly too good to be left outside and so is nice and snug in our garage!
The food cooked better in this than any other barbecue I’ve had, charcoal or gas, it was very even and with no burning/charring.
Definitely a great buy! Just wish I’d bought it earlier in the year – hope we get some summer again next year!
This model comes with the invaluable carrying handle, which doubles as a lid rest (and is not provided if you order the Smokey Joe Original). It has a grate to keep the bottom vent clear and a grill on to which to put the items you are cooking. Both the bowl section and the lid have vents, which allow the draw and the heat to be controlled. It is otherwise nonadjustable (you cannot raise or lower the grill). It also comes with a measuring tub, which allows you to follow the instructions to put just the right amount of fuel into the bowl.
There are two instruction manuals, one to assemble the device and the other to use it. The assembly instructions are unusually good, providing easy to follow guidelines. I am useless with self assembly items but had this put together in 10 minutes. The other instruction guide includes invaluable guidelines for cooking small items like chops and sausages and larger items like roasting joints, with the lid off and on, and gives timing guidelines for various different meats, fish and vegetables.
Using it has been a joy. I have cooked both the standard sausages, steak, chops, and burgers fare, which was easy and very satisfying. It means that if I feel like it of an evening I can just throw a bbq together with no real thought. It does a great job with swordfish and tuna, as well as vegetables.
With rather more trouble I have also cooked large cuts of meat over a drip tray, although it took a few goes to get this right. A drip tray is a metal tin filled with water, which is set in the middle of the charcoal. The meat is placed over the drip tray on the grill to prevent it burning. Because the drip tray occupies quite a large area it means that lighting the charcoal is more difficult because there is less of the bowl in use to place charcoal and firelighters. I used too many large chunks of charcoal in combination with too few fire lighters first time round and had to start again. I also managed to drop some of the firelighter into the water on one occasion, which flavours the water, of course, and would flavour the food if allowed to remain. It’s a knack, but it works when you get into the routine.
It takes up very little space, is easy to lift, and is easy to store.
This is a professional piece of kit and well worth owning. I do wish that I had forked out the extra for the black one though, because the colour makes me flinch every time I look at it!

I bought this to go camping with so that we can BBQ in all weather. It’s compact and efficient as a BBQ and a smoker/roster. Brilliant for a small whole chicke
We’ve taken it to friends houses and used it whilst camping. It cooks really well, is really good quality and is easy to transport. We’ve cooked for parties of about 15 people and still had capacity to cook more.
When you’re finished cooking, you can close all of the vents and clip the lid on to form a tight seal which starves the coals of oxygen. The whole BBQ will then be cool enough to pack away again in about half an hour.
Auch das Grillen mit normaler Holzkohle ist sehr gut mglich, man muss lediglich etwas mehr Luft zufchern, da sonst die Glut zu schwach bliebe.
Wnschenswert wre ein beigelegtes Werkzeug, um den Grillrost auch bei heier Glut, z.B. zum Nachfllen von Grillkohle oder zum entleeren, anzuheben.
Letztlich ist nur der Transport mit dem Fahrrad zu umstndlich, die von Weber angebotene Tragetasche scheint mir mit knapp 60 EUR doch zu teuer!

Wir haben uns den Smokey Joe Premium gekauft und sind sehr zufrieden damit. Sehr gute Qualitt. Mit einem Anzndkamin kann man in ungefair 30 Minuten mit dem Grillen anfangen. Grillergebnisse sind gut. Probleme mit der Luftzufuhr kann ich nicht besttigen. Alles im allen ein guter Grill.
Great little BBQ, looks great as traditional black bbqs are so boring, and works as expected. I can’t comment on durability as it is quite new, but a great addition to our garden.
