This little guy did our Christmas dinner this year providing some delicious venison for 4 adults. Beef burgers and chicken breasts come out delicious too!
Assembly, usage and cleaning are trivial.
Despite other review, it DOES support non-original cartridges. I use GoSystems PowerSource cartridges which are sold in almost every single hardware store here in Ireland. JUST make sure the cartridge complies with EN417 standard with a screw on top of the cartridge ‘cos you’ll have to screw regulator to the cartridge.
A pity the gas canister seems to finish so quickly
Excellent portable bbq, we use it for camping. Surprisingly good results from small canisters, leave lid down when cooking for best results.
Even my barbecue hating husband likes this. So easy, so simple and perfect for two. I cook whole chickens and beef roasts on it as well as the usual barbecue things. Cooks them perfectly. We love the small easily fitted gas canisters too.
I use this when I go in my caravan and the gas cartridges is ideal.

Love this bbq (Q1000) quick to heat up and get cracking with the cooking….I use it quite a bit for char grilling chicken and bacon for my ceasar salads….lovely.
I bought this for androgens to use in her back garden and she loves it. So easy to use and ready to cool on very quickly. Food tastes great on it too. The small gas cylinders are easy to get and make it ideal if you want to take it on a picnic.

This is quite frankly brilliant. Easy to set up, easy to use. In love with it. I bought a small metal smoke box & hickory chips which worked really well to add smoky flavour to the gas grill. Bye bye charcoal hello wood smoking. I feel very American now yeeehaw cowboys! Such a great buy. You need one in your life. Just press order, it won’t disappoint. In fact.. I feel like I’m in Texas rather than Cumbria! Hastag Weber club, hastag little pops of sausage, hastag outdoor life, hastag capsule cooking, hastag get someone else to clean it.

Ridiculously good. Bought it and haven’t used my oven or coal BBQ since. Get the adapter for a large gas canister and you’ll be set. Worth it 100%

Not as portable as the cadac safari it’s replaced but better made, more cooking space and imo more like a bbq than a griddle

We purchased this BBQ over a month ago now and I can say that it is brilliant. Very easy to set up and very easy to clean. We purchased a cover for it as well as we intended to take it away with us. It is easy to cook on and the temperature is easy to control. The canisters of gas seem to last quite well as well.
Love the BBQ – make sure you have ordered or bought your gas canisters in advance of needing them! they are tricky to get hold of especially on a weekend and not all stores sell them.
Good quality compact portable bbq, cooks well and is fairly easy to clean, adding/changing gas is straightforward. Great for camping or days out, might struggle if you have invited hordes over though….

Not the cheapest of products, however you certainly know that you get what you pay for. Great quality easy to assemble. Bought it for summer holidays, but I think it’s going to get a lot more use than the big one as it is so quick and easy to use.
These are the best compact portable Gas BBQ on the market, hands down.
Great for caravanning, boating, picnics out with the car for a day and just general BBQing at home.
They are made from cast Aluminium so will not rust and last a fife time if looked after, I would recommend getting the Weber cover as well to keep on it when not in use, it is easy to fit and remove.
The grills are in two pieces and are very heavy duty cast iron, coated in a nonstick finish, they are really easy to clean and using a wire brush after heating the grills for a few minutes before cooking does the trick.
The aluminium tray underneath, which has a foil throwaway tray, is very easy to remove.
There is a small cage attached to the frame to hold the gas can, really neat feature as being a portable bbq.
Honestly, anyone thinking of portable or small bbq, it is very worth spending the extra money on a Weber, in my mind and experience ( as I have a bigger one for home as well) they are the best on the market.
Looks like a well made study piece of kit. Only time will tell. It seems as though it’s limited to the small portable gas containers which may not be the most economic way to fuel it.
Nicely made and looks like will be easy to service/clean. Gas hose a bit short.

The Weber ouses quality in its materials and finish. Gets very hot quickly but will turn down in steps. perfect for stakes and sausages and i’m about to try fish.
Another big like is the large drip tray which uses a foil dish and goes into bib and the ease of cleaning of the rest. and it comes with a good guarantee.
