The projector is good, I wish the focus was better like I’ve got it looking pretty good woth the wheel but the edges are a bit blurry but it’s still very good for the price, I love the fact that I can connect my Bluetooth headphones to it but everything I switch the projector on it just reverts to the built in speakers, so I wish it would stay on the settings I wanted

I bought this as a replacement for my 13 year old Acer when it finally started to die.
It’s not in the same league (obviously), but it does a reasonable job. I can’t use it sadly, due to my screen being over 3.5 meters away, but when I table mount it closer, the picture is pretty good.
Brightness is adequate, menu system is a bit odd but workable.
Overall, at the price, it’s pretty good, and will fill a gap until I can afford a 4k one :p
This projector has great HD quality and is a wonderful tech to have in your home, easy to use.
I was on the fence for along time regarding projectors, I had fears that the picture would be washed out and soft and the fan too noisy, but I bit the bullet and after research about lumens and native output I took a chance on this projector. It’s not small and as with most it does require limited light to get the best out of it. Well I really like it, it’s a whole new experience, I have only got room for a 60″ screen in my kitchen and I wear bluetooth headphones for audio, It’s not soft infact I am more than pleased with the picture qaulity (see included photos) sharp with nice rich colour depth and although sitting next to the projector as I do might increase fan noise the fact I wear headphones it hasn’t been an issue. Reading some of the low score revues on here they must have got bad units because my experience is totally opposite as I think is more than proved by my supplied photos. This by projector standards isn’t expensive I really do believe some people expect 4k qaulity pin sharp for under 200 it’s not going to happen. I like to watch a lot of older movies from the 70’s 80’s and 90’s that have been re-mastered for 1080p and this is more than acceptable for that picture qaulity. They say you get what you pay for, well Iam more than happy what I got for what I paid.
Set the projector up over the weekend, great picture, not bad sound, YouTube media player works, overall a good projector, however could have been a great projector with an inbuilt media player so people can play their own media off their media players instead of having to plug in a media streaming stick. Why when the projector has WiFi & YouTube media player was this item missed off, its the only thing that spoils this projector. *UPDATE* Audio through wired sound system does not keep in sync with video, you also have to tell the projector everytime you turn it on to pass the audio to your sound system… Just a few things spoil this from being a really great projector.

We ordered this and really had done no research, however the reviews were good and we decided to take a chance. It arrived the next day, we were really impressed how easy it was to use and how good the picture was. We hooked it up to the sky box and watched the football on it. I would throughly recommend it, it came with everything you need, all cables for different connections were there and an easy to use remote control.

I replaced my old projector with a much cheaper model which has great store reviews and it was rubbish. So I carefully looked around and brought this one and it is fantastic. It’s super bright even in quite light areas (see my picture, The windows behind me were not shaded so that’s pretty great that you can get such a very clear picture quality. The sharpness of the picture is all the way to the edge with no ‘fuzz out’ or blurring. The operation manual is actually really well written with extremely logical step by step instructions so I got the thing up and running in a couple of minutes. And as an added bonus it comes with a soft padded case sufficiently big to put the cables in too. So in a nutshell, affordable with excellent quality for, quite frankly, an extremely low price

The picture quality of this product is excellent easily adjustable to your suiting. Instructions are easily understood in the manual. I use it for racing on my PlayStation and to watch Netflix. These both work easily through my PlayStation 3.Iwatch this on the wall in my bedroom. Really cool great stuff.
Remote control is so simply easy to manoeuvre between functions. No complications neither with setup or operation.
I have tried a couple of cheap projectors and have been seriously disappointed with the image but was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this one, the toptro has a few different inputs,picture quality is good for a cheap projector ,I have mine going through my sound system which make a huge difference and gives a more cinematic effect,the only negative I can say is the fan is a little noisy but one the movie is on it is ok,I have also used my ps3 and ps4 through this and both give adequate quality to play ,you may have to mess around with the brightness but playing cod on a screen roughly 7 foot x 4 foot is fun.If you can get it for around the 130 is I paid then its worth it.

The projector is fairly quiet, with a good bright picture quality.
There is wide range of options for adjusting resolution, size, aspect ratio and so on and I haven’t yet found anything I couldn’t adjust as required.
I recommend this projector if you are looking for a keenly priced mid-range solution.
I bought this as a back up after my optoma HD 144x had to be sent off for repairs that would take a month. This looked great on paper and was under half the price. It is exceptional. The image is as crisp and detailed as the Optoma and the projection size larger. The internal loudspeaker is very good and it has the hdmi/via and jack plugs for external audio if required. If I had known how good this was, I honestly would not have bought the more expensive Optoma. The default colour settingmay be slightly less saturated than the optoma, but this can be adjusted via the menu. The manual is comprehensive, and the projector also features a removable dust filter, as well as the keystone correction you’d expect. Overall, this is almost certainly the best machine you are going to buy for the price. I got a reconditioned one, so the price was even lower than brand new. Outstanding.
This is not my first projector, and I bought it specifically so that I could work on a computer in broad daylight. Projectors that can show a movie in a dark room are easy to find, but they don’t have enough resolution to display all the pixels on a computer screen and it’s not pleasant to work in a room. obscure. So I had high expectations of this projector and I was not disappointed. The image is crisp and bright. All the pixels are there when I use a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. I can work in daylight with normal light. However, you should not have a sun beating directly on the screen: although it is bright, it is not brighter than the sun. Operation is very simple, yet a complete user guide comes with it. I like the built-in extendable foot that pops out with just the push of a button, and the keystone adjustment with a dial. That said, keystone correction does induce a slight blur on the top and bottom edges of the screen, so I prefer to position the projector perpendicular to the screen. I also used the projector for stand-alone multimedia use, and here it is still on top: where my other projector did not recognize half of the file formats, it could read absolutely all the files that were on it. the USB key. This allows you to quickly improvise a multimedia projection in any room since the projector is stand-alone with a simple USB key plugged into it. this will be a guarantee of longevity and silence since the cooling system will remain clean and unobstructed. In short: perfect for office use or standalone multimedia. The TOPTRO projector use a different OS than most of the other projector in the market, menu system is snappy and easy to navigate. Connecting to WiFi and Air Play with iPhone is easy with instruction on screen, playing phone game on a 120″ screen on the wall is a whole new fantastic experience.
The built in YouTube app is a bit of a disappointment, The quality is rubbish and it did improve by changing setting from smooth to HD. I strongly recommend using a FireStick with Hdmi output for viewing contents with the projector, quality is 10x better and much more flexible with installable app like exercise lessons etc.
The fan is a low level hum which is noticeable if sitting on the left of the machine, with speaker at 65+ will overcome that hum. Bluetooth connection for soundbar and better speakers, the built in twin speaker works but for multimedia video bluetooth connected soundbar is the way to go.
There is removable/reusable filter housing on the side of the machine and there is a door on the bottom of the machine where you can access the LCD and Lens, if there are dust setting on the inside causing dark spot on screen it can be cleaned easily.
Remote takes 2 AAA batteries and not included, IR remote works on both front and rear of the projector. It can be mounted upside down on celling with threaded holes under rubber feet. Streaming Netflix and Amazon video will not work with AirPlay or Screen mirror due to codec protection, youtube and games will work
I am pleasantly surprised, I was not sure what to expect. First of all, it was very easy to setup, basically take it out the box, plug it in, adjust the height/keystone and done. I am using a firestick to stream netflix, disney+ and prime but you can also plug a pc, usb drive, phone etc… to it if needed. The quality is amazing, fits my whole living room wall, feels like being at the cinema.
The fan is quite silent, once the movie is on, you don’t hear anything, the sound is also loud enough and clear, so you don’t need extra speakers, although you can if you want to. Amazing projector, definitely recommend!

The LCD lamp is bright enough to project 120″ image at 6 meters, light just need to be dimmed and not total darkness. Focus is sharp in the middle and soft toward the very edges of the screen, focus ring is smooth and allows precise adjustments.
Digital zoom/over scan allows projector distance to wall being fixed and reduce output screen size with little bit of video quality deterioration. Overall a lot of functions packed into relatively small machine.
This is the second projector that I have purchased.
Absolutely fantastic value for the money far better than my other which cost four times more.

Don’t ever write reviews… but feel like this one is warranted. What a fantastic bit of kit. Highly recommended trumped every expectation.
I am using the projector as part of a golf simulator, and it works brilliantly. Very happy with the performance, low noise and quality.
Ok, so it isn’t exactly little but I am pretty chuffed with this projector. To caveat this review please note that I am not a cinema buff, nor an expert on projectors. I pretty much just purchased this as a novelty to entertain the kids (honest) during lockdown. So far it has only been used at night with very limited ambient lighting and we’ve found it to be ideal for our purposes. The kids love movie night and the huge screen means that they behave for slightly longer than usual when the action stops and the movie makes a futile (and apparently boring) attempt at plot or character development.
The image is suitably bright, focused and rich. It was easy to set up. It is reasonably quiet (you will notice the cooling fan(s)) and actually stays quite cool – at least in comparison to my work’s old projector which (while 1/3 the size) you could cook an egg on.
The internal speakers are surprisingly (to me) good – however I suspect that anyone who is setting themselves up for a home cinema experience will plug in a soundbar or other sound system. The internal speakers are competing against the cooling fan, so for me they are there as a last resort if you have no other options. But nonetheless an adequate option, especially if you took it somewhere but didn’t want to carry a sound system along too.
As mentioned, I find the image perfectly fine and I’m just projecting onto an ordinary wall which is light grey and normal matt paint – not that special projector paint. So I am guessing the image quality could be further improved with special paint or a projector screen if that really mattered to you. A few reviews of this projector have included photos along with a statement about the photo not reflecting reality. I can support that as it is really hard to get a photo the justifies the real world result.
The projector itself is well stocked with cable accessories and comes with a friendly little note which looks like it was written by the grannies at my mum’s arts and crafts group with cart blanche access to the MS Word clip-art collection. The note offers guidance to resolve problems and the suppliers direct support line if help is required. (I note that a few negative reviews have said that support is non-existent in reality, but I’ve not had to use it).
My last piece of advice with this, or any other projector, would be to do a little measuring before you go ahead and purchase. The sales support documentation clearly states the screen size to distance ratios that can be achieved, so just make sure that you have a space suitable to get the image size you’d like.
Really like the quality of picture. Has good brightness and will be a hit with my husband and his friends when we can all watch the boxing on a balmy evening in the garden during the summer. Kids have tried a movie and was great watching it so big. I’m yet to work out some speakers for outside as the Max volume will be lost I think.

Had it for couple of days now and very pleased with it. cost versus features, it hits the correct spot. Brightness is good and we were surprised to get a good picture even in a generally bright room on a cloudy day and at night with quite a bit of ambient light.
The most surprising bonus feature was sound, I was expecting a tiny sound and prepped up my Bose speakers for movie night but in the end didn’t put as it wouldn’t have been too much better than what came of projector itself.
My husband is a football fanatic and as we received our projector, we set up immediately and tested the quality and we loved it

I would never usually post a review this quickly after receiving something, but I am really delighted with this projector. The fan is considerably quieter than my previous one, the brightness and sharpness is better and it was cheaper! I got it on a lightning deal so might be worth waiting for, but honestly I think this projector is worth full price. With the removable filter the fans should last longer than my last projector. It looks great mounted on the ceiling. Over the moon.
Having never owned a projector before I read and watched several reviews before settling on purchasing this TopTro projector. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. It also came with plenty of accessories to get started; Power Cable, 3 in 1 AV Cable, VGA Cable, 3 in 3 AV Cable, HDMI Cable, Lens Cover, Remote Control, Cleaning Cloth and Manual.
I bought the projector as a from-me to-me Christmas present. What with the lockdown I’ve had several opportunities to use it over the last few weeks and I’m pleased to say I’m very happy with it. I’ve primarily connected it to my laptop via a HDMI cable, from which I’ve used it to watch movies or stream Netflix. Picture quality is fantastic – the darker the environment the better. Sound quality is also good, I was nervous that it wouldn’t be loud enough when used outside but it did the job fine.
I’ve included a picture which hopefully gives an idea of just how good the picture quality is; Avengers: Infinity War on the kitchen wall. The screen was about 113 inches which is one of the smaller settings, I didn’t have a projector screen set-up when that photo was taken.
Can’t really list any negatives as this projector does exactly what I want it to do, the only thing I’m missing is a Playstation 5 to hook up to it…

Bought this projector for less than 150 pounds great for my home cinema. I am projecting it onto a large screen at 3m distance producing a 96inch diameter picture. The protector is about the screen so the keystone correction is important and provides a distortion free correction.The resulting picture is bright and in focus. For best results though there need to be very little light in the room. The remote is simple and works well.I can recommend this projector great for the money.
Was dubious when ordering as I’ve never had a projector before and wanted it for a combination of gaming and films, upon recieving and setting up the projector I can’t imagine the there is better value for money out there, picture quality is crisp and the speakers are loud enough to warrant not plugging in external audio, just what I needed!
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a budget but very good projector!
This is our first projector and we love it! It was easy to set up, the picture quality is great and it is very easy to use! A finishing touch would have been to include a carry case but overall an excellent product.
Very happy with this projector. Started looking at cheaper 720p versions and decided to spend more for a 1080p. Picture is better than I expected, very clear and smooth. Lots of options to adjust in settings. NowTV stick works perfectly with HD picture, and I’ve also played some lower quality MP4 from a usb, which are also good. XBOX One -also very good picture. Set up very easy, and focused well from a shelf on the opposite wall. We have it in a bedroom with good blackout blinds, but also perfectly good to watch with lamps on in the room. Built in speakers sound good, I’ve also added external speakers, and you can select whether sound comes from internal/external or even both. Looked at quite a few before deciding on this one and I would definitely recommend it. (Also has 3 year warranty)
Very pleased so far. We were looking for a projector that could project from back of 5m room to 81″ screen, so needed the zoom adjustment otherwise too big for screen. Easy to set up, good clear picture. Seems good value for price.
This was recommended to me and I’d certainly recommend it to anyone else. It has a very good picture and gaming through it is very good. The remote control is a bit cheap feeling and it’s a pity it lacks wireless connection but easy to resolve with the correct dongle or a fire tv stick.

What a great projector!
I admit I was hesitant about buying a projector at this price point but after connecting it to my computer and then to an Amazon 4K Fire Stick, I must say I have been ultra impressed.
The picture quality is much better than I expected and far superior to a 4 year old Sony projector that it replaced. When using my notebook computer, the picture was clear and bright. I adjusted the picture settings, with the easy to use remote control, and then switched on the fire stick. Wow what an even better clearer sharper picture!
I then plugged in a portable hard drive and played some of the videos on the hard drive. There was no lag and again a bright clear picture.
I then used the fire stick to view 4K videos on YouTube and again very, very impressed. Crystal clear with great sharp detail.
In summary, I used it for three hours watching some F1 qualifying from and fine tuning the settings to suit my viewing preference.
I have been so impressed with the sharpness of the picture and have no problem in highly recommending this projector to anyone reading this review. Would I buy again? Yes, most certainly!
If you are thinking about getting a new TV, stop and consider a projector instead. It gives a much larger screen. We just watched the match today and it gives a great ambience. Good for films and episodes too. Only downside with a projector is the need for a darker room. Not totally – just close the curtains. The projector is quite bright so the room can be partly lit. The sound on this projector is much better than we have on our other projector. You can watch films and games etc with only the sound from this projector, which is adequate. We will be getting a separate external surround sound system in addition, to completely blast the sound out, but the sound from only the projector is OK
I was a little anxious after already having returned a different projector as picture quality around edges wasn’t clear, however I did not have this problem with the TOPTRO, the speakers on the projector are actually sufficient if you don’t have additional speakers to plug in. Live the zoom axis which means you can place the projector further back and then reduce pic size of needed to fit a screen, which isnt available in many projectors, at this price point definitely value for money. Great projector!
I bought this as a replacement for another projector that was wearing down. This projector impressed right away. It has a fast start up time, the controller is very responsive and the menu set up was easy. The picture is bright and clear. The colors are vivid. And the sound isn’t bad either. I use a sound bar, but before I turn it on, you can hear the audio out of the project, no noise or hissing.
This projector is a big upgrade over the previous one, very pleased with my purchase.
Picture quality better and sharper then my Panasonic 720 plasma tv with a picture 6 X greater. The speakers are good too and using it ceiling mounted.
Great bit of kit! Very impressed with this projector – simple to set up and gives an amazing picture. Just hooked up Mariokart which is great fun to play on the big screen. Good value for money and would certainly recommend.
This is our first projector and I spent quite a while reading reviews an if various models before taking the plunge. We’ve been really pleased with our purchase and have used it far more than I expected. So much so that when doing up our lounge I added a power socket and made plans for a projector bracket and screen as we expect to use it even more than where it’s currently situated in the bedroom projecting on to ikea wardrobe doors achieving approx 1.8m diagonal screen from a distance of about 3.2m (utilising the zoom – picture reduction feature). Anyway, if you’ve been thinking about it for while I would suggest this is the one to go for. Speakers in srs mode are surprisingly good. Picture with a roku stick connected is nothing short of excellent. Top job toptro!
Bought the TOPTRO TR80 home projector as a replacement for the Apeman LC650.
Upon setting up the TOPTRO TR80 (which is basically plug and play), i found the picture quality far more superior than the Apeman which had very crushed blacks and could not be rectified even when brightening the image with contrast or brightness.
The image on the TR80 is bright, even in a well lit room. The picture quality was full 1080p, clear as day with nice and crisp edges around the image.
The TR80 come with a built in speaker system. Which for the excellent budget price of this machine, i was not expecting it to be have as good as it was. Even at level 50 the sound is quite loud, the bass pumps out at a nice decibel also.
It is a heavy machine, weighing in at around 3kg, so anyone buying a bracket for the ceiling take note, a sturdy bracket is needed.
I only gave 4 stars for the remote as one of the buttons (three horizontal lines) does absolutely nothing. When the TR80 is switched on, i thought it would be the menu, but no, thats the M key. So can only assume its not wired to anything inside.
Overall then, a fantastic budget projector for movies and gaming in full crisp 1080p with no crushed blacks unlike some of its competitors.
Definite must buy for anyone wanting to enhanve their living room, bedroom or cinema room. FULL 5 STARS.
Had this projector a little while now and love it. The picture is sharp and image quality is great. I have used this projector in the lounge during the day with curtains closed (there was still some light in the room), in the garage where I have my gym and in the garden for a couple of movie nights. Sound is pretty good and loud from the internal speakers however through a sound system is the business (wired connection). It is simple to use, with an easy to navigate and not over complicated menu system, it just does what you want it to do, very well.
Ignore the reviews from people expecting professional quality while not prepared to pay top (stupid) money.
My only gripe would be the remote control. The layout is good and all works okay, it’s just not as good quality as the projector itself (feels cheap plasticky).

Excellent projector. I’m really surprised at the quality for the price. The built in speakers are also decent although additional speakers would be ideal if you wanted better quality. All in all I’m pleased I opted for this projector and wish I’d bought it sooner.
Having just received this and had a little play around with it it seems fantastic. I love the picture quality once I had a play around with the different settings. The 4D keystone correction is fantastic letting you adjust projection if its not quite straight on. I love all the features you get for the money, only 150.
I can see people wanting one when I get to show them it at Christmas time!
I was really apprehensive as a first time buyer of projector, I was looking online and all were double the price. This is a pretty amazing projector, I can’t really hear it (just a low low hum), and it does a really great picture in low light and amazing at night or blackout curtains. I got a 100″ screen and it is so amazing to watch anime on! I’ve had zero problems with it, and I went into this with zero knowledge. 🙂
I bought a cheaper projector (100) before this one and sent it back due to the quality of the picture. I’d looked at loads around the 200 mark and plumped for this one due to the specs. I’m so glad I decided to spend more as it has turned out to be well worth it.
The picture quality is very crisp and there is no blurring around the outside (like my previous one). The built in speaker is pretty good too. I’m well happy with it. **Edit** they ask you to leave a review for a few gift. I have now been waiting for 3 months for this.

However, I can say that I am very happy with the result it provided me for a cozy setup for movie time.
The image is projected on a bare wall from about 2.5 meters away and it projects a screen of 2 x 0.80 meters on the wall. More than enough to enjoy any movie.
We placed the projector in the right corner on a shelf and had to use the 4D Keystone feature to make the angle watchable for us which resulted in a slightly smaller screen and the corners of the screen are a little blurry and unsharp, but only a small portion of it and it’s not quite noticeable while watching the movie. Knowing that it might be better from a straight angle bothers me more than the blurred edges.
The audio sound is OK. It is really clear to hear and the effects are also OK. Some dialogs may not always be super clear but I guess it depends on the audio setting of the movie as well, whether it’s 2.0 or 5.1 and you can adjust it in the projector audio settings.
The fan is not too noisy. It’s not quiet either but while watching a movie it is barely noticeable.
For connectivity I used a Google Chromecast and stream from phone, iPad and laptop using the Google Chrome Cast option. In case you didn’t know about this option, you simply open up your Chrome browser on laptop, click on the three dots in the upper right corner and find the “Cast” option. Click on that and another window opens prompting you to choose the device (your projector will be shown) and to select the source which you want to project (tab or desktop) choose which you want to project and that’s it.

My wife bought this as a surprise and it certainly surprised me how good the picture is and the sound is ok too. I will be connecting some speakers to enhance it. Easy to install from the ceiling and easy to operate. Would recommend this projector.
All I can say is that this product has given joy and happiness to my 3 children.
We use it everyday and it is just perfect for our needs.

My old 720P projector started failing and I needed a replacement. For this price, it’s hard to beat Toptro projector!!! The quality of the picture is great, I have tested it on Prime Video, Netflix and PS4. Haven’t tried any online gaming, but if you want to play some offline games in Full HD, this projector is perfect for it. Very happy with the purchase 🙂
It’s one of the best if not THE best projectors I have purchased. The mage quality and resolution is great I look forward to having sports weekends like I am out at an event.
Bought this projector as a surprise present for my sons bedroom for watching Netflix and playing his xbox on. Having previously bought a cheaper apeman projector which whilst the quality was ok for what I paid, at 480p the picture quality just wasnt good. enough. I can’t same the same for this projector however, the picture quality is superb in fact my older daughter was so amazed in just how good the picture is that she also now wants one too (made a rod for my own back now). Unlike the other projector this one is just better in ever way the speakers are louder, richer and compatible with dolby which is a bonus. The fan whilst audiable is never over intrusive and to be honest I forgot it was there after a couple of minutes into netflixs. Connectivity to a fire stick was simple and slick. I haven’t tried with the xbox yet so I can’t comment on the lag but I’m hoping there isn’t any. Build quality is excellent it just feels sturdy but is heavy compared to the last one so consider that if putting on a shelf. I’ve only tried it in a dark room so the brightness was excellent and it was projected onto a white wall which is all you need. It does get warm too but this was fine for me as my teenage son like most teenagers spends his time in that mushroom growing environment anyhow. If I had to criticise it I would say the cables provided are all pretty short so if you are placing on a shelf away from an xbox or sky box or power source then you have to buy longer cables but I am nit picking here really. Buy one you won’t be disappointed I wasn’t.
So, I got one of these in July and have waited to review it rather than collecting the free gift… So this is a fully honest review. This projector is AMAZING! I have it hooked up to a PS3 for blue rays and Netflix and also running the sound through an old Panasonic sound bar and sub. All old equipment that I wasn’t using, but in combination with this projector I now have a full on home cinema. It’s projecting on to a 100 inch vonhaus retractable screen, which I’d also recommend. You can really see the difference between blue ray and DVD which proves the native 1080p but DVDs are fine when sat about 4m away from the screen. Almost every marvel film watched already and winter hasn’t even started yet. Thank you TOPTRO!
I have had 2 previous projectors and neither one compared to the picture and sound quality of this projector, the sellers description is on point and I couldn’t be happier with this product, I Highly Recommend 5+++ Stars.
After doing around 2 weeks of research on what projector to get as my first, I finally decided to go for this one.
And I am so glad I did, for starters it is native 1080p and the picture quality is excellent for what I am using it for, which is mainly gaming with my PS4, the brightness could be a little better, but still quite decent.
I was so impressed with it, I went and brought a 4k firestick to use with it, oh and the speakers are better than I expected to, I thought I was going to have to hook up my soundbar to it for sound but …nope not needed as the speakers are loud and clear so do the job just fine for me.
Overall I can happily recommend this projector, oh and I am not writing this review because of the free gift, but because it is a excellent projector and well worth the money 🙂
At this price point you really can not complain. Amazing value, native 1080p with very accurate colour matching and even the sound from the built in speakers is adequate. I am very pleased at the value and quality from such a cheap projector. You won’t be disappointed.
Bought this to replace 7 year old projector. And i absolutely love it. Quality of picture is amazing. Stunning 1080p. Very silent. Large picture from 3 meters. Have recommended it to friends and family.
Bought as an upgrade from a different projector. Knew what to expect as brother already has one so i knew i would be receiving a fantastic projector. Build quality is great, menu options and settings allow for any situation to find the perfect fit.
Video comparison shows the difference in colour contrast and also quality of the tr80 (left) vs a lower resolution projector. Will be using this halloween to create hollusions and cant wait to try it out.
Great picture quality and good brightness, I don’t think you could do better around the 130 price mark.
– Very bright, could be used in the daytime as long at the room isn’t too bright, best results are obviously in a dark room.
– Keystone correction is digital via the remote.
– Sound quality is decent for a projector although if aiming for a cinema experience your going to want to connect to external speakers.
– Can be hung from the ceiling using an appropriate ceiling mount although you would have to remove the rubber feet to attach this mount which is slightly disappointing.
Not had this projector long but very pleased so far.
Purchased to build a mini home cinema over lockdown. Can’t fault the picture quality, and the speakers were surprisingly powerful. The remote control is handy and easy to use. The brightness isn’t quite bright enough to comfortably use outside during dusk – but it’s perfect for indoor or nighttime use. Admittedly I don’t know much about projectors, but for casual home use at a mid range price I can’t fault it!
