I love this remote, it’s intuitive and easy to use.
Bought it for my five year old grandson and he just loves it, it’s light, the cord is very long, the buttons are accessible and made it a lot easier to teach him.
The price is a bit steep, but it’s worth the investment if you like gaming.

I purchased this for my 5 Year old daughter who is just starting to play kids games on my PS4. The Quality is very good for a basic controller for a child but would not recommend for an adult. Main reason is the sticks have a very different tension on compared to an official PS4 Controller and the top of the Stick is not rubberised like the official Controller. Please also note that this does not have Vibration Feedback, Motion Sense or have a touchpad. The Touchpad work around is a button that is initially very tricky to work out. The buttons on top (R1, R2 etc) feel very different i.e. easier to push in and have no sensitivity, so it’s either button full on or not. Just be careful if you are purchasing this as a cheap second controller to play with friends. My main reason was the Brand make good Controllers and was a smaller size for my Daughter. Overall yes it has a lot of features missing compared to the Official Sony one but it is well made and cheaper in comparison. Loses a star due to the fiddly Touchpad Button.
Have found that this controller is also compatible with the PC Engine core grafx minI console. (Only the Dpad works not the analogue sticks.) As the console only comes with one controller and the extra controllers are currently unvailabile this is an alternative for now for those wanting multiplayer gaming.
I like the idea of this product, i had to return it as it was actually too small for my hands, which made me laugh when i tried to use the sticks and my thumbs would collide a lot.
I did notice that during fighting games aka street fighter doing certain commands on the D-pad was a little harder but overall the build quality of the device feels nice and the length of the cable was handy.
Great controller, perfect size for my 7 year old twins hands (so no more excuses for when Inthrash them at Fifa!) Very sturdy & well made, lovely bright colour & long cable. Actually writing this review over 1 year after purchase & still working absolutely fine.
Bought this for my 4 year old. Since using this controller he’s kicking some serious ass on Titanfall! Worth every penny for the peace and quiet 🙂

Detto fatto, seguendo il consiglio di un amico, mi sono orientato su questo controller che davvero compatto e calza a pennello per le manine dei miei bimbi.
Unica pecca, ma per mia necessit, che avendo il divano a circa 5 metri dal televisore avrei preferito una soluzione wireless che per leggendo varie recensioni non sono riuscito a trovare di qualit tra i compatti.
Questo controller ha comunque un cavo di 3 metri e i bimbi si siedono sul tappeto a giocare.
Quattro stelline e non cinque per la plasticosit e per la relativa sensazione di possibile rottura che per ora non si concretizzata. Dopo due mesi di utilizzo intensivo, dovuto anche al lockdown, il controller ancora perfettamente integro, il che mi fa sperare per un seguito felice, a meno che non me lo inizino a tirare in testa quando mi diletto a prenderli in giro dopo averli battuti 🙂 Lo so, sono un pap perfido con la sindrome di Peter Pan 🙂 🙂

mio figlio di 5 anni lo adora, leggermente pi piccolo rispetto al classico joypad ps4 e si trova meglio, tasti pi accessibili, va bene anche per gli adulti.
il filo ha 3Mt di lunghezza e non ha LAG input.
Se fosse ancora un p pi piccolo sarebbe solo per bambini dai 4 ai 10 anni per la loro manovrabilit aumenterebbe.
cosi lo si rende un valido Joypad per bambini adulti e anche su PS Tv

Exactly what I wanted… While we’re all currently locked down at home my 3 year old son has been bored senseless, he likes watching me on games so I decided to buy him a lego game. He loved it but the DS4 was way too big for him, but this mini controller is perfect! He now plays with ease, there are a few things missing compared with the DS4 but as it’s for kids they’re not needed anyway.

J’ai pris a pour des enfants de 6ans et moins. La manette est plus adapt pour eux contrairement aux manettes PS3 PS4.
La manette est branch sur PS3 et fonctionne bien sauf le bouton home.
Perfekt fr meinen Sohn. Liegt besser on der Hand ind er spielt lieber damit. Das Kabel ist ein Nachteil, aber der Controller wiegt das wieder auf.
Excellent pour mon fils et ses petites mains. Mais manque de prcision et de sensibilit au niveau des joysticks.
The cable is frustrating, and I’m always concerned my eldest or the baby is going to yank the cable and bring the ps4 (and possibly the tv) crashing down. But I get that no battery makes it smaller and lighter.
It’s also slightly frustrating that it doesn’t appear to be possible to turn on the PS4 using the controller. Of course, because it’s wired, and we have to keep it next to the console anyway, manually turning on the console directly isn’t that big of a deal.
Overall, quite pleased!
Bought this for my youngest son as he likes to join in playing on ps4 but normal controller too big for his hands, it’s perfect for that reason! Only thing I would suggest is to make it wireless.
Controller funktioniert bei mir einwandfrei und auch die analogsticks sind nicht labberig. Die kleine Form liegt mir auch bequemer in den Hnden als der normale Controlle
Klasse Dibg fr kleine Kinderhnde gut geeignet. Meine Tochter 4 Jahre wollte unbedingt das paw patrol auf der ps4 spielen. Gut Spiel besorgt und los ging es leider nur kurzer Spa da springen und laufen zusammen mit dem Standard Controller bei den Hndchen nicht ging und der Frust war auf beiden Seiten gro. Doch jetzt durch den neuen Controller klappt das jetzt prima. Auch Papa mag das Teil alles flssig im Ablauf und das Kabel hat eine gute Lnge
Perfetto! Preso per mio figlio di quasi 4 anni che non riusciva ad impugnare il joypad standard ps4. Questo riesce a tenerlo in mano bene e a raggiungere tutti i tasti. In pi il cavo lungo 3m quindi senza rischio che si trascini dietro la Playstation mentre gioca! Soddisfatto!
Manette trs pratique pour les petites main, mais relativement fragile. J’ai dj du changer plusieurs reprise les manettes aprs quelques chutes, les joysticks sont rest coincs sur le ct, rendant la manette inutilisable.
L’utilisation du pav tactile n’est pas non plus des plus aise !
En dehors de a, la manette est super sympa, trs ractive ( filaire oblige) et plutt jolie.
Pues yo he de decir que aunque tena bajas espectativas sobre el mando y pensaba que sera cutre… no ha sido as. La verdad es que me gusta tanto que sin darme cuenta lo estoy usando ms que el normal. Y eso es porque va muy bien.
Tiene buen tacto, tamao un poco pequeo pero razonable, se siente bien en las manos, botones con buena respuesta, las palancas funcionan muy bien aunque no son rugosas y se te puede resbalar en alguna ocasin… eso lo he solucionado con unas capuchas de goma para mejor agarre. Tambin le aadira algo de peso al mando.
Conclusin: A pesar de los contras que le pongo le he puedo 5 estrellas porque lo que ofrece por menos de 20 ha cumplido mis espectativas de sobra. Hay gente que dice que es para casuals… yo no soy casual y me encanta. Tanto que me quiero coger otro en azul…
Bonne taille mais les joysticks sont encore un peu difficiles atteindre pour les petites mains. Elle y arrive mais a aurait t mieux de les dporter encore plus sur le ct.
Initially I bought this for use on my Playstation Mini. I wanted at least one pad with analogue control so I tried one of these. It says it’s designed with kids in mind, but holding it is not uncomfortable for me, and I have quite big hands. This worked perfectly with my Playstation Mini on Retroarch and Autobleem. On PC it works flawlessly with any emulators, or Windows or Steam games. I also found out it works on an android phone using an OTG USB connector. Brilliant product.
My three year old liveshid little controller – perfect for his little hands. The only downside is you can’t start the PS4 with this so you have to use a standard controller then switch user but that’s no big deal.

After realising that the regular controller is to big for him I bought this child version.
Delivery: Fast
Package: Neat and safe
Durability: really sturdy, fell done a few times no issues or minor scratches worst case.
Weight: really really lightweight, that is why it feels down a few times as well.
Use: feels awkward when I play with it compared to the usual controller, but for a childe it is totally good. Just the right size.
Battery: Only cabel version. The cable is so so so long I almost fell over once in it :D, so bevare.
Overall for a child, it is a good buy.

E’ un piccolo controller per ps4 a misura di bambino. In generale la mia opinione positiva per quanto riguarda la maneggevolezza e la solidit. E’ infatti caduto numerose (trope!) volte senza per accusare il danno.
Unica nota d’attenzione: non pu essere usato con tutti i giochi ps4 n con quelli ps3 su ps now.
Per i primi il problema la mancanza di giroscopio all’interno che rende impissibile i giochi basati sul movimento del controller stesso (ad esempio journey).
Per quanto riguarda ps now manca la parte touchpad quindi non possibile avere i tasti start e select di giochi ps3.
A parte questo ripeto un buon primo Joypad
Has a few cons no headphone jack, rumble and sticks and triggers aren’t for fps games. Got it mainly for mortal Kombat and does the job well. 3m cable/lead a bonus to as a back up pad for the price, can’t go wrong.
Used on a emulation pc and works great.

A fantastic controller. Good for kids, or for playing retro games on either the PS4 or PS3. Yes, it works perfectly with the PS3! The cable is nice and long, it feels good quality, it’s accurate, and not too small for adult hands. I would definitely recommend.

Mir gefllt die Handhabung sehr gut. Unsere Tochter darf hin und wieder spielen dafr eignet er sich Super. Liegt gut in der Hand und wurde sofort von der Playstation erkannt.
Great for kids although would be better if wireless. However, this would likely increase the price. Also not compatible for devices such as Xim4 which require the official PS4 pad
I got this for my daughter, she loves it. She finds it easy to use. Only issue is there is no motion detection in it and the touch pad is a button. But for the games she plays it’s perfect. She has had a great time playing Sonic and Skylanders with it.

Todo perfecto excepto los joystick. Son de una calidad bastante mala (ms que los joystick en si, el agarre.) y se resbalan con facilidad. Mi solucin ha sido cambiarlos por el de los originales y ahora s que no uso otro mando.
Relacin calidad precio inmejorable. Es un mando algo ms pequeo que el original pero muy prctico y muy barato. El cable y su longitud es una ventaja en mi opinin. Lo recomiendo como un mando para invitados, pero no para jugadores habituales, ya que la ergonoma del mando original de PS4 es incomparable.
Es un mando perfecto para jugar con nios dado su pequeo tamao as como la ubicacin de los controles analgicos de direccin.
Tampoco est mal tenerlo para invitados ya que el hecho de que tenga cable hace que no te tengas que estar preocupando de cargarlo tras mucho tiempo sin usarlo y la longitud del cable es mas que suficiente.
Calidad precio es un gran compra como segundo mando, para nios o para mando de uso ocasional.

Brought this for my daughter and she loves it, fits perfectly in her hands. This is a great controller for kids before they move on to the adult ones. It’s a shame x-box doesn’t do the same.

This is great. My kids are able to play simple games thanks to the pads’ smaller size. It’s good for adults, too.
It’s extremely light and the buttons/sticks lack the premium feel of the official PS4 controller, but it works great and it’s very affordable. It’s small enough to be used by children as intended, but also not so small that an adult couldn’t keep it around as a cheap backup.

Si vous recherchez une manette de secours, ou une manette pour enfant si vous avez peur de leur laisser la trs onreuse dualshock4 alors cette manette est faite pour vous.
Seul bmol : elle est filaire, mais encore une fois : pour le prix on ne va pas se plaindre
Manette idale pour les petits, pour les adultes grandes mains c’est jouable galement (rien ne remplace une grande manette). Le fil est long et la manette est tombe plusieurs fois sans se casser. Top pour jouer avec les plus petits.

Used by a 6 year old. Just say fits his hands with some reaching, but so much better than the standard controller in terms of size. It works well and no problems.
Down sides are no rumble/vibrate and the L2/R2 buttons are simple on/off rather than a range of movement or action. This means games such as car games are tricky and you’re unable to gently control movement.
Very good for the money, all functions works.

The Mini Gamepad really works well – it’s size makes it much easier to move thumbs from the sticks to the face buttons and also to use the shoulder buttons. My daughter finds it much easier to play.
It is an official controller and so it has support for the touchpad controls, though this is through a button and use of a stick – the controller is too spall to feature an actual pad. We haven’t used this controller with any game that demands a lot of touchpad input, so I can’t really comment on this, though I would guess that fast access to lots of swiping, etc isn’t anywhere near as easy as on the regular dual shock.
The controller is wired, though it’s a very long cable – more than long enough for most, and longer than the old PS wired controllers! It doesn’t allow for switching on of the console, so you’ll need to press the power button and then activate the controller (shows just how lazy we’ve got, if we’re grumbling about this).
As other reviewers have mentioned, the triggers on this are just buttons, but this is a kid’s controller, and anyone old enough to be playing at a proper level on a shooter should using a regular controller!
If there’s a downside, it’s that it does feel a little lightweight and I do worry about how many drops it’ll handle (it’s survived about a half-dozen that I know of so far!). However at this price it’s ideal. Highly recommended.
Does what it says on the tin. Always a drawback with a wire, but no batteries to worry about. Maybe a little small but fine.
some of the moves that require a double touch don’t work but these type of moves aren’t meant for 7 year olds anyway so it doesn’t affect his understanding or game play enjoyment.
The buttons aren’t quite as nice as the original – in particular the joysticks are a lot more springy, making it harder to do anything precise – and the virtual touchpad is essentially unuseable.
But for playing lego dimensions with my 6 year old son, it’s perfect!
Excellent secondary gamepad, used for over six months now and absolutely no problems. Not the best for games that require subtle movements, but perfectly viable for most games (mostly used for call of duty)

Wer lange am original Pad der Ps4 gezockt hat, fr den stellt das Hori natrlich erst einmal eine Umgewhnung dar, da das Touchpad durch drei gummierte Knpfe ersetzt wurde, die Schultertasten weiter nach Innen gewandert sind und die einzelnen Kunsttoffknpfe und die beiden Sticks bei der Bewegung Klick Gerusche von sich geben . Doch das war fr mich nach einiger Zeit alles kein Thema mehr und ich freute mich u.A.ber die ppige Kabellnge von 3 Metern. Ich kann das Horipad auf jeden Fall empfehlen.
I use this on PC for playing with SNES, NES, MD and SMS emulators and it works a treat. Better than those cheapo replica usb pads and provides a more authentic feel in comparison to using a modern controller.
Build quality is excellent and the pad feels great if you are using it like a SNES controller. The d-pad is concave and can take a bit of getting used to and there are no triggers. The wire is really long and there a plenty of extra buttons to remap to various functions such as load/save state etc.
It’s pretty decent for fighting games and any kind of modern platformers. Using it for other modern games that use twin sticks can prove difficult due to the general size of the controller and the lack of space between the sticks. For me this is not a problem as i only use the d-pad and face/shoulder buttons.
Connecting to an emulator is no problem as most of them use DInput and recognise the pad in an instant. Ironically the SNES emulator did not work and in this case Xpadder had to be used.
Highly recommended for kids or people with small hands or if you are just using the dpad or one stick to move.

A good game pad. A little on the small side, but large enough for an adult to comfortably play fifa for hours. A good choice for your 2nd/guest controller if you don’t want to pay the stupid price for the official Sony controller.
Cable is a bit plasticky but otherwise this controller is OK. I wouldn’t recommend it for shooters but great for anything else.

Purchased this controller for my 4 year old daughter as the standard dual shock was too big for her small hands. The mini pad fits her hands perfectly and she can now play much easie
However, thought the product itself was of a very decent quality, so much so I recommended to friend with a couple of young kids, pre-teens. He reports the kids find them perfect to use, in terms of size for small hands and fingers.
Il tutto funzionale, ed effettivamente adatto ai bambini (il ragazzino – 6 anni – lo ha gradito), ma per mani adulte pu essere un po’ scomodo, specie per i tasti dorsali, molto ravvicinati fra di loro. In particolare L2 e R2 non sono pi grilletti ma solo degli R1 pi grandi.
Nel complesso il prodotto buono, ma richiede un po’ di abitudine. Se cercate un controller PS4 ridotto, cablato ed economico (ma un po’ pi pesante), consiglio di provare anche il Nacon Compact.

Un seul souci: teste sur Raspberry Pi (Retropie) et Mac (OpenEmu), la croix de direction semble perdre le signal quand j’appui en continu dans une direction. A voir sur la dure. Les pads Hori Fighting Commander PS3 et PS4 n’ont pas ce problme.
Bought as a gift for brother along with multiplayer games – we already have two controllers but are a big busy family and this was an affordable controller to have for visitors.
Feels very cheap and plastic, is also very small and a bit odd the first time you use. Despite all of that it works as well as the other controllers and means everyone can take part.
Son loves it. He’s 9 and he thinks it’s much better than the official one, which is great as it’s half the price. Feels a little cheaply made to me though. Great if it lasts.
The controller feels high quality and the buttons feel similar to that of a standard ps controller, the cable is nice and long (3m / 10ft) to allow anyone to sit back away from the tv.
The controller is currently available in 3-colours, black, red or blue. We went for the black, so it matched in with our existing ones.
Overall, very impressed and a good buy, good value and would recommend.

Really good controller for my 6 year old. Perfect size and he loves that he has his own and in his favourite colour!
I purchased my one from eBay at the time because it was cheaper that listed.
The controller takes a bit of getting used to if you’re used to the Dualshock 4 but feels great after that, I feel the triggers need a bit more space in-between them but that’s just me, I have the blue one and it looks great and it’s way cheaper than the dualshock 4, if you want a great feeling low price controller for PS4 then look no further as this is it.
My controller was tested on Destiny 2 for 1 hour 30 minutes and worked perfectly, couldn’t test it on PC or a PS4 Pro though as I do not have them.
