I originally bought the Wolfbox dashcam as a security device as I always knew there was a risk of theft where I live in a busy urban area. My car is parked in the street every night. This is why I purchased a mirror dashcam as it has a lower profile than some others and could be mistaken for a mirror without closer inspection.
However the dashcam is much more than just for security and is an extremely effective device for giving a wide forward and rear view of the road. The quality is excellent and the screen is large enough to have a split view of front and rear although I defaulted to rear view only most of the time.
The quality of the recordings is very good and clear and there are options to choose the length of each video capture. It has the facility to record sound too although I have chosen not to use this.
I had some issues with glare causing reflections in bright sunlight, however, I experimented with angles and found if I angled the screen upwards slightly I solved this problem.
My only real criticism is that car headlights at night cause a starburst effect on the screen which causes the picture to be less clear. This was not a deal breaker for me, just a minor gripe (potentially with a solution – I will experiment more).
One of the most amazing things about Wolfbox however is their exemplary customer service. They are incredibly attentive and helpful. When I asked about a hard wire kit so that I could leave the device on overnight they sent one free of charge immediately. Any queries I had were swiftly answered politely and clearly.
I cannot recommend this company enough and the product is great too.
Bought this initially for my wife’s 17 plate Ford Focus. Found that the Focus mirror sensors interfered with the field of vision and that the camera lens are more suited for left hand drive vehicles eg outside of UK due to it showing more of the passenger POV. Bought a different one for my wife and used it on my 19 plate Corsa, which is low spec and doesn’t have the mirror sensors. Works fine and no problems with it so far. Decent value for money and good customer support.
This is a really good product. Records both front and rear cameras. Really easy to install and use. Cameras are really good quality. I only have it in a few days. I use it on rear view setting good quality view, cars behind seem further away than they really are, struggle to see any cars around 100yards behind, so I have to make sure to check wing mirrors before changing lanes. All in all I’m more than happy with wolfbox mirrorcamera,.
I had been considering a dash cam for about a year. Finally did some research but discovered mirror dash cams instead. Less bits on the window. A friend had recently installed a Sendow and I was impressed.
The Wolfbox kept popping up in some top reviews. I got the latest version G840H. The picture quality and video footage is excellent, clear, crisp, definitely good in low light. I was able to review someone leaving a very tight space behind me. Despite me leaving a note to say I would move my vehicle he had someone help him. They did see my note but didn’t ask me to come and move. Had a friend help me install it.
Comes with 20″ extension. I got the 50′ extension and the hardwire kit to enable me to use the parking sensor and protect my battery from being drained. Really pleased I did as I was getting sick and tired of popping the cigarette socket in and out and hiding the cable. I also wanted an optional gps. This one is not already built in. You plug it in. Comes with a 32gb sd card so you can used immediately, this will last for 3-4 hours, more than adequate for most people.. It runs on a continual loop, only save if something happens.
Also had excellent reviews for quick response team if any issues, clear easy to understand advice and over 10 years experience in this field.
My photos do not do it justice. My rear camera is mounted inside the rear window and my glass is tinted. So I didn’t expect it to half as clear as it is. So please don’t judge the quality of the camera by looking at mine.
I haven’t used the camera at night yet. But as of now, it’s amazing. It’s Crystal clear. Which peoples videos and photos do not do it any justice at all. I’m so pleased I chose this one. I spent hours doing my research on reviews and gave up in the end. But this was a real suprise.
I mounted it easily. Bit if a pain in a 2series to get the cable from front too back. But didn’t take long. The wide screen/lense is what I was looking for. My previous camera only focussed on half the stuff going in ahead. But this catches everything, even if not facing directly straight. This is exactly what I wanted! And to be able to view footage on the screen is great. My last one was WiFi but it was rubbish! So I didn’t bother this time!
Good quality front and rear cameras.
A little bit of glare from headlights in the dark away from lit streets but thats to be expected.
The only point I would make is that in strong sunlight the reflection on the rear view mirror can wash out the camera image.
This means that to use it as a rear view camera the rear view mirror has to be dipped to point down at the back seat.
This is fine if you have a switching rear view mirror that will flip from normal to dimmed, but not great if you have an automatically dimming mirror.
Great item, easy to install and use. Only down side I would say is that the view in the review mirror in normal use is not as clear as a standard rear view mirror but other than that, really pleased with the item
Secure PIN type delivery. Cool box, like you’ve bought an iPhone, but harder to get in. Perfectly clear manual. Super helpful assistance. The rear camera cable wasn’t long enough and I was provided with a free longer cable. Install is idiot proof. Setup and alterations simple. Camera functions are great. Everything works as described. Love the fact you can scroll the rear view up and down. Perfect for camper van roof tops. Adjust view for rear traffic and scroll down to see your bumper. Only niggle really is the time/date text size. Needs to be a little bolder, as it is on the image used on the instruction manual. And, if you can afford it, go for the 4k version. The 1080p is a little grainy. However, all-in-all, this was a exceedingly good purchase. Glad I’d read the reviews. Thank you to all those that do review products. Please note the bracket I’ve used to support the rear camera isnt provided and is simply part of the old camera unit that I used. Definitely worth installing like this, camera base up, as the camera angle only adjusts one way and the wrong way IMO.
Superb camera and reversing camera. Well packed and arrived early, the reversing camera lead was not long enough for a motorhome, contracted support and extra long cable was sent out immediately free of charge (excellent customer service). Forward facing camera is 2.5k and the rear is 1080 unfortunately the forward-facing seem slightly hazy compared to the rear hence the four stars but overall I’m very pleased with the product and would recommend.

I am now giving this 5 Stars. The front camera is clear, just my stupid fault for not taking the protective film off the lens, and i’m a photographer “doooh”
Impressive bit of kit for the money, crisp clear picture that you can adjust easily and if camera is fitted upside down you can flip and turn left to right mirror images in the settings.
Left out the last star since there are improvements yet to be done on this product.
1. It’s a shame that one can only record front, what about back cam for evidence as most interesting stuff actually happens behind like getting hit from behind etc (firmware update required)
2. The brightness of cars behind to harsh on the eyes from the reflected video images on the mirror, so I don’t use it in video mode…problem is . The poweroff setting starts from one minute and actually goes off after about 3 minutes , you should add 15 and 30 seconds as due to the defect mentioned above most people will be using the mirror and not the video mirror. (Firmware)
Oh and I hope the firmware is upgradable.
Also try adding wireless for internet (hardware I bliv)

I install these types of cameras at work. This one is one of the best I’ve fitted in terms of quality and ease of fitting. Sales team couldn’t be more helpful. I would recommend 100%.
When fitting this product, which was easy as pie, when it came to fitting the rear camera I decided to mount as the instruction`s advised, by the number plate, only problem is that my tailgate release and plate light is central, no problem just put it to the right (offside) and put a slight angle when sticking the camera to the bodywork, now wish I had mounted inside as when it rains water covers the camera, but hey is does not rain all of the time? with all the rear cable now threaded through the tailgate I connected the the two cables and found there was a fault near to the connection plug on the long cable and rear camera would not work unless I wriggled the cable, I contacted Wolfbox via the email address and partly my fault I received the wrong replacement cable again I emailed them and got the right cable this was all done within 2 days what great customer service and the camera is first class as well I would recommend Wolf box product’s to all.
I did quiet a bit of research before diving in. This was the product I chose. Well made and nicely packaged. I also bought the hardwire kit for parking mode/ security. My level of skills are very low. But that said. I found it super easy to install and fit it to a semi professional level of quality. Almost no wires to see. I will confess I had a friendly engineer/mechanic help me wire in the hardwire kit as I knew what I wanted and no idea how to get there. Once up and running had a brief issue with no picture or video. Only thumb nails. I think it was something to do with freshly formatted memory card. Now it all works super well! I am very impressed with the cameras. Even travelling down a pitch black country lanes you can still make out stuff in the rear view mirror/ rear camera. The contrast is very good too! In the dark the front camera appears to make bright areas brighter while not getting dazzled by headlights. Simple to use. I will have to see how the exported videos look to give a final verdict. But very impressed so far! Good work Wolfbox!

Initially worried about the night view but to my surprise it is brighter than what we see in the regular mirror..
Absolutely no lag in video feed you can rely on this completely.
I completely stopped using the mirror
GPS is useful however don’t rely on this for Speed it always shows bit slower than your actual speed.. it is not problem with this GPS but all GPS device in general.
Overall more than what I expected!
However, an extra strap and small tool to insert the wire would have been better!
I struggled at first to install this, my first time… But with a bit of help from the staff (Mia) who is very helpful and responsive provided me with the hardwire kit to have the G-Sensor function, as well as a guided instruction on where to connect on the fuse.
I installed this in my camper van which has a rear view mirror with no visibility out the back, adding this screen with the rear camera has been a game changer, I can now constantly see a rear view, plus by wiring the red wire at the camera end into my reverse light, the screen switches on the (adjustable) reversing lines to help you line up. The camera quality is great, the screen is crisp and clear, the touch screen interface is easy to use. When I asked about wiring, the seller even sent me a wiring harness to wire directly to my fuse box.
This is not only a great product at a fantastic price, but the seller communicated well and was very helpful.
I brought this product and I absolutely love it..Best dash cam I’ve owned..so easy to install..quality is brilliant..so easy to use..but unfortunately the back camera got knocked off so I had to try to replace it so I rang wolfbox and to my surprise they sent out a new one..no towing and throwing they just sent it out I was over the moon with my new replaced camera..Heidi sent it out first class to and made sure I had received it and happy..I’ve never experienced anything like it..I was so releived so thank you Heidi and thank you wolfbox..you are outstanding on all levels
Just one thing to mention. It doesn’t say in the add, but this particular model is for a left hand drive cars. Had to get a replacement that suits RH, but seller made that process in no time.
Everything works well. The hardest part is getting wires from a to b. I just tucked them under the trim on my Mini so not too bad. It is an excellent quality product.
When you drive at night the rear camera is good until the car behind you shine there lights at the camera.It makes it impossible to see behind you. The camera needs a filter upgrade to stop the glear but you cannot fit one as an extra. So you have to turn the screen off and use the reflection to drive.
Product arrived promptly, was very well made and packaged, the quality of the camera is very good, I bought it for a campervan 6.5m in length the lead that came in the box for the rear camera was about 2m short, emailed the seller and they sent out a longer lead which arrived the next morning. Very good customer service
I fitted this (with an extension cable) to our campervan as it didn’t have a rear view mirror.
To describe the photos/video in the review:
– there is what the screen shows at night from the front
– there is what the screen shows for the rear camera at night when there is no light (parked up against my garage – the fuzzy black image)
– there is the rear at night – notice in the sections with no rear light how it flickers when light appears? That happens on the screen too – quite distracting! (I couldn’t upload another video, but the footage is as you’d expect really)
Like most cameras now, getting footage in good light is not a problem, and this one also copes well in the dark too. Keep in mind that my rear camera in the videos is looking out through 70% tinted windows, so will already be darker than most usages.
Firstly, installation is pretty easy – just need to neatly route the cables, and hardwire as required.
Onto actual usage, I’ll address my questions from when I bought this, followed by some of the downpoints.
– if you have a rear camera connected, when you turn it on, it defaults to showing that (at least, with my settings it does, which is just what I wanted)
– you can have it turn off to act as a regular mirror automatically
– the screen is bright enough to use in daylight (at least, in a van it is. It might struggle in a car with more windows)
– the image quality is pretty decent
The downsides:
– there is no automatic brightness on the screen, so it’s just as bright at night as in the day
– in the dark, if there is nothing behind you (quiet road) then it displays a fuzzy black screen, which can get quite annoying (see video)
– if something does appear behind you, it can pick it up, but often flashes a green across the whole display while it readjusts to the new light source. This can be pretty annoying too, especially on a motorway where there is often stuff appearing behind you
– the recorded image quality isn’t quite as good as the dedicated dashcams in our other cars, but it’s still passable
Overall, I’m very impressed though and it makes driving/parking the van a lot easier. I’d definitely buy again, and assuming this stays realible, would be happy to recommend this (although I might just turn it off at night to avoid the flickering)

This is by far the best dashcam I have ever had, I particularly wanted a decent rear image and this fits the bill perfectly. The mirror camera (front) was so easy it almost fitted itself and the rear camera was also easy with more than long enough cable. I will not be using the reverse capability as my car has a reverse cam already. I cannot recommend this enough, it’s just about perfection, don’t think, just buy one, you won’t be sorry.
I have a Gen 2 prius which has a very sloped rear window which makes the rear view very limited. This camera has completely transformed my rear view. I can now see everything in HD quality even at night. It also has reverse parking assist lines which you can turn on which makes parking so much easier. It has a built in forward facing dashcam to record what’s happening in the front. It would be nice if the rear one recorded as well but so be it. I had a couple or product questions and an issue with the camera not always booting on power on but the aftersales support from Wolfbox has been the best I have ever received from any company in my 57 years. Karren has responded to every single query quickly and with useful information that resolved my issues.
So impressed with the quality of this. When I contacted them to enquire about an extension to the rear camera lead I need for my motorhome..no problem. The very helpful Karen said they will post one out time free of charge. Well packaged . Feels like a quality product. Images are crisp and clear . Included the data card. Easy and intuitive to use. Very impressed all round.
I was unsure whether this would work for my car and also had a problem with the wiring working. They came back to me on both very rapidly and replaced the wiring by return post. Excellent service when there is a query.
Got this Dash Cam, I am a car savy person, this was an easy install. The picture quality is very good during the day time, the dash cam covers the blind spots . At night time, the picture quality is good. The camera replay back is all easy to use and settings are also good. The GPS shows your speed and direction. The customer support were very responsive and handled my issues promptly and purposefully so I would reccommend as I felt supported after recieving the product. I hope it lasts for years to come.
We have a 7mt motorhome, reversing is now a doodle, very easy, as soon as you put into reverse you a great picture showing detail. Forward or back, what ever the weather, Our only little, tiny problem was hiding the cables. Make sure you get the correct cable, we bought the 33ft cable and only had 1 ft (30cms) spare at the end. Took a whole day to fit, very pleased.
We have not had it installed yet,we are not mechanically minded so best bet is to get a mechanic to install it for us. Looks great and will update when we have it installed. What I can say the seller is amazing, very quick and promp replies and ever so helpful.
I wanted a dash cam with display and reverse camera and I’m happy I chose this one.
I decided to install this in my works car park after a 12 hour shift just because I had the box in the car from it being delivered that day. It only took me 25-30 minutes and all I used was a plastic ‘trim remover’ pry tool to hide the wiring – with a little confidence this can be installed by a complete novice.
This is the first mirror type Dash Cam I have bought. I have to say I was really impressed when I switched the system on. Firstly the clarity from both cameras is excellent. I tested the system on a very dull and rainy day, compared with my normal rear view mirror image, the scope and clarity from the rear camera was outstanding. I do a lot of driving in across Europe, and this dash cam is going to provide a much wider rear view, essential when you have a right hand drive car. The function of being able to switch from front to rear camera image and split screen is great, the Lane departure warning system and speedo is helpful too, don’t have to look down at the dashboard. Installation was fine, hardest part (like all rear view cameras) is routing the wire to the front. One minor issue I found was that the reversing live wire was not long enough, easily fixed. If you like tinkering with cars this should be a breeze. All in all I was super pleased with this product, does exactly what it is supposed to, good quality with some neat functions.
I haven’t installed this yet but connected it up to a battery pack to test and it seems OK. I’ll probably come back later after a few months use.
Mine arrived without 3M sticky tape for rear camera and no SD card. They took a couple of days to get back to me but did which is the important thing and sorted a replacement card and bits within days. I’ll add pics and review in a while once installed
Do what should do. Work fantastic. I’m very happy with this mirror. Only one thing wich I can complain is video quality at night – could be better, but is not to bad anyway.
I had it fitted by an auto electrician (expensive) but you know everything is safe and connected correctly.
I had a couple of problems after, but the staff at Wolfbox answered my e mails straight away, and we had it going in Minutes
I had not read the user manual properly old age me thinks.
The mirror is a great size a vast improvement of my previous 10 inch ( size does matter).
So I recommend this product and the seller amongst the many mirror cams on the market.
I was dubious about buying this at first as for so many other products had bad reviews but this product is exactly what it sates it is I can’t big it up anymore well worth buying.
Great item. I use this on my transit van as I missed having a rear view mirror. Camera quality is very good. Really easy to install and the screen quality is good. Feels almost like having a proper rear view mirror. Records both front and rear cameras and has some cool speed and GPS features as well. Expensive, but much better than the cheaper versions
The front camera which sticks out cannot be repositioned, over in UK we drive on the right, the camera is on the left so when the rear view mirro is angle to face you the camera turns to the left and records what’s ahead at an angle, as you are driving rather than record what’s in front of you the camera captures the pavement more. Other products out there with camera on the right or. adjustable
Camera:
Day: Front – is amazing with great quality and wide view range, Rear – good as well, good quality.
Night: Front – Clear vision, actually helping a lot especially in dark places, Rear – it’s ok in town but if there is no street lights quality is really bad, all you can see is lights from the car behind you.
GPS – works really good.
Easy to install, easy to set up, well explained, cables long enough (VW Arteon).
I bought this to use on my van, fitting it was pretty straightforward as I mounted it just above the number plate and fed an extended 33′ cable through the van which I bought seperately. I wasn’t expecting anything wonderful and just wanted something that would allow me to see when reversing as I have a long wheel base van and although its mirrors are great you obviously cannot see how close you are getting to the kerb etc.
I watched several online review videos for it before purchasing it so knew it should be reasonable, however I was quite shocked by the quality of it, while driving the image on the screen is clear and you can easilly see number plates etc and also how close cars are behind. However having just driven the van at night I was amazed at how impressive the night vision is, before connecting and wiring it into the van I did the usual “man” thing and connected it to a power source and had a play and wasn’t overly impressed with the camera in the dark of the van, however now that its fitted and can obviously adjust to the night its actually amazing.
Was good value for money. I have a VW T6 camper van so thought I would need the longer cable. I didn’t as the cable supplied would have been plenty long enough.
Initially I didn’t buy the hardwire kit… the screen kept going blank as if it was rebooting! But after fitting the hardwire kit ( you have to buy as an extra) it was perfect. Not sure what use the gps is?? If there was an app you could load on mobile to connect as a tracking device that would have been useful. Or an app to alert you if the parking sensor was started due to a bump that also would have been useful. I wanted a dash cam with the parking alert so that if I was in a car park and someone went into me then it would be recorded but unless I inspect my van, find damage and then take the micro card out and put it into a computer then it’s not really any good for what I wanted! Maybe a camera that links to a mobile app would have been better for me in hindsight!
Annoyingly I am not the best with vehicle electrics so I found it easier not to set up the reversing aspect of it, however still installed the camera to see a live view of rear. Otherwise this mirror cam is absolutely perfect for the price. Clear and precise non lag picture. Night mode doesn’t work I’m unsure whether I can enable this or not? But regardless very happy, will be purchasing again for my fathers van.
Nice cam, the only issue is the mirror gives double reflexion of vehicles light. Might be confusing initially but I got used to it. Not sure if this would be an issue at the MOT test!
The camera in general is pretty good, just disappointed that it becomes useless at night when it’s raining because it gets on the rear camera and makes it impossible to see.
Easy install, and great quality, takes a bit of getting used different mirror display but used to it in no time, not sure if it records through rear cam but resolution is amazing, highly recommend this produc
I am really impressed with this dash cam. It records front and rear simultaneously and as I drive a small van with no rear windows, the rear camera enables me to see what behind me via the impressive rear view mirror shaped screen. The functions and controls are clear and snappy. You can even review footage on the screen. On my old dash cam you had to remove the memory card and insert into a pc to review footage. Oh that reminds me, this Wolfbox cam comes with a memory card included! Great product which I wouldn’t be without. If you’re looking for a decent dash cam which won’t break the bank look no further!
Worked fine for 2-3 months. now all it does is crash other times camera won’t come on a d left with a black screen. Or after I finished reverse the camera sticks in reverse mode untill I shut the car off and reboot the camera. Not very happy.
UPDATE
Contacted Amazon. Amazon would not let me return it as it was over a month. But told me to contact the seller wolfbox. So I did told them all the problems I was having. At 1st they wanted to send me a new power cable but told them I know it was not the power cable as I’ve got it hard wired to the car and I’ve kept the supplyed power supply and that didint work either. The next day I was told they have sent me a replacement dash-cam and within 2 days I’ve received the new camera. So far it’s working. So just wanted to update to see the customer support is great. Very happy customer.
Super quality product. works better than expected. easy setup and menu navigation. Top Tip. If you have a mini van like me or anything with no boot, fit the rear camera inside the back window. Picture is perfect and the camera lens will never get dirt or wet on it in bad weather.
Rear camera takes some skill to install and requires that you drill an oversized hole for the cables. Unless you have experience with auto electrics I’d advise getting the advice of a professional for this stage. The dash cam refresh rate isn’t great but adequate. Great touch screen and effortless installation of the mirror dash cam but does need that rear camera or you lose your rear view mirror. All in all I’m satisfied but next time I’d consider a multi camera solution (x4) with a dedicated screen. Hope this helps
I brought this for my van as I had no rear mirror, this functions excellently as just that. The parking camera is great however could have done with a warning sensor when too close. The only downside is I wanted this connected all the time. However I did get a flat battery from it over a full weekend so I have been unplugging the cigarette lighter everytime I’m not using the van. The downside to this is it doesn’t save the time. I have marked down to 3 stars for this. I managed to hide all of the wiring pretty good, the original camera cable broke before I used it so brought a replacement and works fine.
After writing the original review I was sent an hardwire kit which I never got around to doing. I have now done that this weekend as my van have been in the garage and I was unable to work. Once I got the van back I set about removing trims and looking for my cable route which I found down one of the pillars on the front windsreen. I ran the cable down assembling as I went this was moderatly tricky at times.
I got the cables down to the fusebox under the steering wheel. Managed to plug in and after a few tries I heard the camera switch on. Away we go….. dashcam now working when on ignition. loads happier with it it now saves the time etc. I’ve heard others moaning about the noise. This is either lane departure warning system or its over speed alter. You simply need to disable these or set a higher speed.
I can confirm though after using for a long period of time.. Its not so good as a rear mirror. cars overtaking on the right appear on the left of the screen, I almost had a crash with this (flipped camera) now its angled down so I cant see them. Also has others have said glare is an issue.. I’m thinking of slightly tinting the lense with some of that film you buy for windshield. Maybe that will stop it a bit from sun and lights.

This was the only camera I could find that fitted my very specific list of requirements for a motorhome conversion. The screen and picture are tremendous. I followed the wiring instructions to the letter and it fired up first time with no issues. I did have to contact customer service for a replacement spare part and while initially apprehensive I was blown away by their speed and efficiency in sorting the issue. A really great package and amazingly well supported by the brand.
This is overall an excellent reversing camera. I found both video and photo quality excellent. The only grasp I have is that I would prefer to have the lense on the other side of the mirror as with right hand drive and the titl of your mirror I’m struggling to get it set exactly how I want. The problem is with the lens being positioned on left side of the mirror which causes it to interfere with your original mirror, although you can adjust the lense slightly it’s still getting blocked by the side of your mirror you have mounted it on. Fairly easy to install as well so overall I’m happy but would not buy for that one reason of the lense being on wrong side of the casing.
Easy to install, though I’ve not hardwired it yet. The hardwire kit was sent out for free, and after some back and forth emails they sent me an update out for the camera as it wasn’t always showing the speed and compass direction. This seems to have fixed it, but sometimes it can take a couple of minutes for the information to show. I have my rear camera set up internally, and even though my window is fully tinted the video clarity is still as clear as day. At night its dark, can still clearly see lights etc, but not as dark as the standard mirror. The company do not recommend to set it up this way but it works for me. Currently awaiting the old man to do some research on the fuse box of my Mini Cooper so it can be hardwired and I can get all the benefits of the camera. Would I recommend? Yes, yes I would!!
There is nothing to dislike about this product. If I had to be picky about anything, if there were a way of fitting it as a replacement to the original mirror it would be much better.
I got this for the wife’s Audi A4 convertible. The camera fits well over the rear view mirror and also purchased the wiring kit as didn’t want to plug into the cigarette lighter as is on a permanent 12 volts.
A bit tricky getting the wires to the rear view camera as couldn’t go over the roof but got there via side panels and under carpet.
Great piece of kit and easy to use.
View is very good and a very wide angle, you can see the cars overtaking until they are visible in the side mirror. Some glare from the screen on sunny days. Easy enough to fit, hardest was the video cable to the front but that’s the same with all kits. Good menu system, easy to use.
Dash cam looks solid, all part are high quality. The wires for my Yeti have enough leng. In dash cam mirror picture is in very good quality. I did not check videos on pc to make real wiev of recording quality. I ordered hardwire also becouse in my opinion it is poor that the charger has no slot USB for charge phone etc most of cars have only one cigarette power slot and you need to decide what you want do through drive, use camera or charge phone etc. It is little not fair, I don’t mean it is cheating, that you have to choose between safe or comfort (road recording vs daily use of power slot).
I’ve tried a few dash cams and this one is the best by a long way, I drive a van with a bulkhead so have no rear view mirror, but I have now with this camera. Brillia

Easy to install, starts as soon as the ignition turns on, its great that you can adjust the picture shown on the screen up and down and the picture quality is pretty good. The glare from headlights in the dark or in tunnels is not great though. Pretty good product for the price though.
Needed a camera that wouldn’t restrict vision through windscreen. This does the job perfectly.
Originally purchased the 10 inch model but it was too small and couldn’t get the correct angle for the camera when fitted to the car’s 10 inch mirror, so had to exchange it for the 12 inch version. PERFECT.
Open the box and there’s quite a “Wow!” factor. Beautifully made, very solid with very obvious and easy connections. Installation is quite easy if you sit down and read the instructions thoroughly first. The main thing to consider is which fuse to connect to, and finding it on your particular vehicle.
Once you have got it installed and running (it comes with a good instruction booklet) you will see the excellent picture quality and clever screen information layout. Overall a thoroughly recommended product.
Hi everyone I would just like to say this camera is fantastic. The camera clips to your original mirror and ours is 10″ long so we went for the 12″ mirror which fits much better. The lens is on the left hand passenger side and gives a really clear picture of the road a head. This camera is really easy to set up and I don’t like wires showing so I carefully hid the wires in the car trim. The rear camera was a little bit tricky to route the wire to and it took a couple of hours in all.
I purchased this item as I have just bought a new car and I don’t want anyone to damage it or to protect me from bad drivers on the road and I’ve not been disappointed at all. Anyone can set this up but the wiring of the reverse light does take a tiny bit of vehicle electric knowledge. But other than that, it’s great. The menus are really easy to navigate and the picture quality is crystal clear on both. Even at night. You can set up the rear camera to be constantly on or use the screen itself as a mirror. It takes a slight bit of time to get used to driving with the camera always on the screen but once you do, you realise that it is so much better than the original rearview mirror as you have a much clearer view of everything that is going on behind you. The only issue I came across with this was that the hardwire kit failed after a couple of uses so I can’t really use the secure parking mode (i.e the ability for the kit to detect someone trying to access the vehicle or knocking it. But that isn’t important to me as I only park in CCTV monitored car parks and I have a wifi cam protecting the vehicle during the day and at night. That is not to say that this function does not work as it does. I just had an issue with the wiring kit and decided to just use the cigarette lighter charger instead and that does what I need perfectly fine.
Overall this is a great product and I did loads of research and comparing before I bought this and I haven’t been disappointed. Strongly recommend.
I bought this for my 7.65m long Motorhome to provide a “rear view mirror” to see what’s behind me and to help with reversing as well as a dashcam. I ordered the extra length cable to go with it. Installation in a Motorhome is not that difficult, but running the cable to the rear is time consuming. When installation was complete I had issues with the screen flickering and turning off which made it unusable. Wolfbox support was responsive and really helpful. They sent two replacement mirrors and assisted with troubleshooting until we realised that the power lead was faulty. They sent a replacement and refunded all postage costs promptly. A good product and excellent service – well done Wolfbox!

I bought this camera to have a constant rear view picture in my motorhome as the one fitted works best for reversing. Firstly, the remote camera lead supplied was too short for a long van or a motorhome so I contacted Wolfbox and a new longer lead was sent immediately free of charge – impressed. Fitting was straightforward as its plug and play, and I ran the cable following an existing cable run under the MH chassis. The camera comes with a very sticky adhesive 3M pad so be really sure you pick the right spot as it won’t come off! The easy touch screen was connected to my interior mirror as it was done. The picture quality of the rear camera is brilliant crystal clear and has nigh vision mode. I hit my first slight issue when driving as the GPS speed was half of what I was travelling at. Spoke to the great people at Wolfbox and was end a firmware update and it now works perfectly. The touch screen can be adjusted to show front, rear or split cameras but I tend to use rear only. For 100 it is a great piece of kit and I now know what is behind me in the blind spot all the time. Highly recommend.
A brilliant camera and mirror. The image quality is really good and gives you a much much wider field of view than looking out the back window the traditional way, the back camera is really easy to instal and wire up to the reversing light given you have a basic understanding of how to do it.
Being able to adjust the height of the view from the camera has been a really big benefit to me for reversing as you can adjust it to suit your needs and really look down the back of the car which is simply not possible with a standard mirror.
Along with this bight the front and rear camera have amazing field of views so for recording footage you really do get the entire windshield recorded to capture everything.
Good product apart from I carnt get the videos from it onto my phone with my sd card reader it’s just not working even on a laptop the videos don’t come through
Works perfect for me, installation took about an hour as I hid all the cables in the car headliner, best thing is the rear camera view is changeable so you can hang it inside the glass on the top or bottom ridge using the 3m stickies supplied and change the view to right side up in the menu. Both cameras are also adjustable up and down with the touch screen. Mine is not hardwired – plugged into power socket – so will only work when the ignition is on. Front camera view is excellent and both front and rear have a pretty wide angle view – all recorded in seperate front and rear folders on the micro SD. Impressed with the quickness of satellite pick up and and the really like the vehicle speed display on the mirror, only minus is using the “mirror” as a mirror at night-time but I have got used to that.
I know that very often you see these things and think Cheap Chinese and your expectations are pretty low. I’m genuinely blown away by this. Camera quality is amazing. Adjustable and can scroll it up or down to suit your vehicle. Reverse camera so amazing quality but almost too zoomed in but has to fit multiple vehicle types so understandable but it works flawlessly and amazing quality. The front camera does the same. Only criticism and again car dependent is there isn’t enough room for cables to fit in the top of the unit for GPS/rear camera etc but unresolved this using a plastic spacer to adjust the angle and get the front camera right and cables fitted. Imagine in an SUV etc it wouldn’t be a problem but my estate focus it’s to tight and points the camera up to high. Value for money if I could give it 6 stars I would. Works perfect footage is great, g force sensor locks in dash cam footage does better than previous 200+ dash cam systems. If your thinking about this or similar systems buy this one.
Now this is the daddy!, if your like me and love 4×4 & your gadgets in the truck then this is the one, it does what it say on the box ticked all the boxes for me & my 4×4 as a canopy on so rear view so not the best , till i fitted this bad boy, the camera’s front and back are top Quality , ive had rearview cam’s before but not at this specification, so easy to set up i think it taken me 105mins top and i move the rear cam twice, i went for mid range on price with this product, & to be honest it’s under priced in my book. kenny the husband
I’m really happy with this so far. This will be an essay because i wanted a lot out of this. I want you to have an easier time than I did in the maddening search for a dash cam with a decent 24hour security monitoring feature.
As a dash cam it’s pretty much perfect. Picture quality is brilliant. I got it mostly for the time lapse security feature, after extensive research across all of the Wolfbox cameras available from the seller on amazon i picked this one. I chose it because i felt the mirror mounted aspect of it was subtle and it wouldn’t attract thieves etc because it didn’t appear to be an expensive dash cam. I also didn’t want the person i suspect is keying my car to notice there were cameras present.
I was looking for a 24 hour parking mode/monitor and this delivers on that, the others all were described as responding to motion. I tried mini cams with this function and found that through a car window infrared motion detection will not trigger. So i suspect that wouldn’t have worked for me. Also the others were described as only recording with the front cam in this mode. This camera records time lapse footage 24 hours from when you exit/power down your car. You need to have it hardwired in to the car for this to work, which I did, I had done by a professional which looked like a nightmare to do frankly more because of the robust nature of my car and its panels than anything though.
Also it’s important to add it will ONLY record for 24 hours and then will cease so as not to deplete to your cars battery. So if like me you wanted this for surveillance then you need to check on your car and turn it on each day. Make sure you remember when you checked it last so as not to miss any potential vandalism etc.
It will record a time lapse video which you can set, i used 0.5 seconds myself and will FRONT and BACK record for 24 hours.
The dash cam starts recording automatically when you drive. I don’t use the reverse parking cam because mine is mounted inside the car and not externally, but with the clarity of both cameras i’m sure it would be really awesome for that. If you had it installed in the bumper like a smart person.
I’m really happy with this so far. I got the Wolfbox hardwiring kit, i’d recommend hardwiring it because you can’t use the time lapse parking mode without that. I did this because some POS has vandalised my car. One thing i’d say in regards to time lapse/parking mode is that it’s not perfect, there are areas out of view on either side of the car and if the weather is bad, rain etc and your mirrors mist up then it’s probably not going to be much good at these times.
Another positive aspect is that it’s really pretty subtle, i think people would have to really know what they were looking for to spot this in your car, especially at night, assuming it’s hard wired in nicely without visible wires.
There were others available designed for right hand drive cars as we have in the U.K but i got this one as it had the most features and best suited my needs. I’m not finding the camera being on the left side a problem at all to be honest. It’s wide angle enough it would catch goings on without being perfectly aligned or close to the drivers perspective or whatever. So if you want this and are thinking it’s not the UK version and unsuitable, i’d say don’t worry about that.
I don’t really pay any attention what so ever to the GPS tracker but that seems to work just fine.
It’s actually pretty easy to navigate the menu and logical, it’s been quite fun looking at what happens when i’m not around. It’s nice having the wide display and being able to review the footage, be that dash cam or parking monitor footage. I think if something happened and you wanted to see it it might be easier to do on a PC though.
I was also worried it wouldn’t be good as a regular mirror, it did seem kind of dark to me at first but now i don’t think i’d want to go back to my regular rear view mirror. It works well as a standard mirror and the darkness of it reduces glare while allowing you to see everything. If anything it’s a better rear view mirror because it’s wider than any i’ve ever seen on a U.K vehicle. So it’s a good mirror on its own without even being plugged in etc.
From the moment you see the packaging you are aware this is a quality product.
It is packed so well you will want to keep the packaging, even a micro fibre cleaning cloth is included.
I only wanted an electronic rear view mirror for my motor home but this gives so much more.
The fact that it is also a front and rear dash cam makes it well worth the price!
As a dash cam it is better than the other 2 I have which cost 3 times the price.
For me just as a rear view mirror it was well worth the cost and I missed out on the deals and ended up paying 119

I have been involved with dash cams for many rears at work and i have had them in my personal cars also fro a number of years, i know the benefits to others by having good dash cam footage when investigates look at the footage. i wanted a good camera and a reversing camera for my new car and having looked at a number of other products i decided on this baaed on the following
1 Had GPS
2 Integrated screen fro both Dash cam and reversing camera
3 Was a mirror based solution ( not adding more device to reduce views)
4 Had SD card with a reasonable size
i had to wait for my new car to be delivered but when it did arrive i was ready to install it
i was able to hide all of the cables in the linings so there is only about 3 inches of cable showing in total looks good
Fitted the rear camera on the underside of the bumper so that it can not be knocked or even seen
Set was a little frustrating as i could not follow the manual as i did not have all of the options they said in the manual when for a test drive and discovered that the sped displayed was wrong but the spread notification was correct so i knew the GPS was working but had to be a software issue i gave up at this point and sent an email to the company and what a service i had the fix the next morning with a firmware upgrade and please to say all sorted they have to be given 10 out of 10 and a gold star
i did include the firmware release and the problems in the email.
we all know how often we get the runaround and they ask us to do all the things we have already tried none of this just new firmware and it worked as instructed
Best part of this camera i think is the ability to adjust the reversing lines to suit you and your car i have not seen this before and the fact that you can adjust the angle and length of the lines bets to use a bucket and then you set it up on you own

Great product, never installed something like this before but managed it no problem. The hardest part was working out how to get the cable into the rear bumper but that was no fault of the product.
Clear image and very intuitive user face will definitely recommend in the future.
Did a lot of research before deciding on Wolfgang. Absolutely thrilled with product. I did have a professional installation as I’m not any good at that sort of thing. I just want it to work and it certainly does that. I couldn’t recommend it more! Six months in and still overjoyed with product.
Great product but rear cam cabel is not long enough to mount it on a plate on estate( bmw 5 f11 in my case) except if u do instalation straight through the middle of the car which is not great option since instalation cables will be visible…. if u driving estate, go for 8m cabel… But product quality is great though
I can’t fault this. Just does everything it says on the box. All I’d say is that the rear-view camera lens is a bit on the wide side, its a personal thing but I’d fund it a bit more useful if the angle of view was narrower…
Very pleased with this camera system that I installed into my camper van. The quality is excellent and the images are clean and clear which make it a really nice and useful addition to the car. The seller is very helpful and included a massive 50ft extension cable and a hard wire kit into the package for me. My only criticism at present is that the hardwire kit could have had better connection instructions and include a piggyback fuse holder but neither were a problem. Would I buy another if required absolutely.

I originally bought the Wolfbox dashcam as a security device as I always knew there was a risk of theft where I live in a busy urban area. My car is parked in the street every night. This is why I purchased a mirror dashcam as it has a lower profile than some others and could be mistaken for a mirror without closer inspection.
However the dashcam is much more than just for security and is an extremely effective device for giving a wide forward and rear view of the road. The quality is excellent and the screen is large enough to have a split view of front and rear although I defaulted to rear view only most of the time.
The quality of the recordings is very good and clear and there are options to choose the length of each video capture. It has the facility to record sound too although I have chosen not to use this.
I had some issues with glare causing reflections in bright sunlight, however, I experimented with angles and found if I angled the screen upwards slightly I solved this problem.
My only real criticism is that car headlights at night cause a starburst effect on the screen which causes the picture to be less clear. This was not a deal breaker for me, just a minor gripe (potentially with a solution – I will experiment more).
One of the most amazing things about Wolfbox however is their exemplary customer service. They are incredibly attentive and helpful. When I asked about a hard wire kit so that I could leave the device on overnight they sent one free of charge immediately. Any queries I had were swiftly answered politely and clearly.
I cannot recommend this company enough and the product is great too.
Bought this initially for my wife’s 17 plate Ford Focus. Found that the Focus mirror sensors interfered with the field of vision and that the camera lens are more suited for left hand drive vehicles eg outside of UK due to it showing more of the passenger POV. Bought a different one for my wife and used it on my 19 plate Corsa, which is low spec and doesn’t have the mirror sensors. Works fine and no problems with it so far. Decent value for money and good customer support.
Good dash cam mirror I do like it but during sunny or at night the rear view isn’t very visible. An upgraded rear camera would be a good choice.
This is a really good product. Records both front and rear cameras. Really easy to install and use. Cameras are really good quality. I only have it in a few days. I use it on rear view setting good quality view, cars behind seem further away than they really are, struggle to see any cars around 100yards behind, so I have to make sure to check wing mirrors before changing lanes. All in all I’m more than happy with wolfbox mirrorcamera,.
I had been considering a dash cam for about a year. Finally did some research but discovered mirror dash cams instead. Less bits on the window. A friend had recently installed a Sendow and I was impressed.
The Wolfbox kept popping up in some top reviews. I got the latest version G840H. The picture quality and video footage is excellent, clear, crisp, definitely good in low light. I was able to review someone leaving a very tight space behind me. Despite me leaving a note to say I would move my vehicle he had someone help him. They did see my note but didn’t ask me to come and move. Had a friend help me install it.
Comes with 20″ extension. I got the 50′ extension and the hardwire kit to enable me to use the parking sensor and protect my battery from being drained. Really pleased I did as I was getting sick and tired of popping the cigarette socket in and out and hiding the cable. I also wanted an optional gps. This one is not already built in. You plug it in. Comes with a 32gb sd card so you can used immediately, this will last for 3-4 hours, more than adequate for most people.. It runs on a continual loop, only save if something happens.
Also had excellent reviews for quick response team if any issues, clear easy to understand advice and over 10 years experience in this field.
My photos do not do it justice. My rear camera is mounted inside the rear window and my glass is tinted. So I didn’t expect it to half as clear as it is. So please don’t judge the quality of the camera by looking at mine.
I haven’t used the camera at night yet. But as of now, it’s amazing. It’s Crystal clear. Which peoples videos and photos do not do it any justice at all. I’m so pleased I chose this one. I spent hours doing my research on reviews and gave up in the end. But this was a real suprise.
I mounted it easily. Bit if a pain in a 2series to get the cable from front too back. But didn’t take long. The wide screen/lense is what I was looking for. My previous camera only focussed on half the stuff going in ahead. But this catches everything, even if not facing directly straight. This is exactly what I wanted! And to be able to view footage on the screen is great. My last one was WiFi but it was rubbish! So I didn’t bother this time!
Good quality front and rear cameras.
A little bit of glare from headlights in the dark away from lit streets but thats to be expected.
The only point I would make is that in strong sunlight the reflection on the rear view mirror can wash out the camera image.
This means that to use it as a rear view camera the rear view mirror has to be dipped to point down at the back seat.
This is fine if you have a switching rear view mirror that will flip from normal to dimmed, but not great if you have an automatically dimming mirror.
Great item, easy to install and use. Only down side I would say is that the view in the review mirror in normal use is not as clear as a standard rear view mirror but other than that, really pleased with the item
Secure PIN type delivery. Cool box, like you’ve bought an iPhone, but harder to get in. Perfectly clear manual. Super helpful assistance. The rear camera cable wasn’t long enough and I was provided with a free longer cable. Install is idiot proof. Setup and alterations simple. Camera functions are great. Everything works as described. Love the fact you can scroll the rear view up and down. Perfect for camper van roof tops. Adjust view for rear traffic and scroll down to see your bumper. Only niggle really is the time/date text size. Needs to be a little bolder, as it is on the image used on the instruction manual. And, if you can afford it, go for the 4k version. The 1080p is a little grainy. However, all-in-all, this was a exceedingly good purchase. Glad I’d read the reviews. Thank you to all those that do review products. Please note the bracket I’ve used to support the rear camera isnt provided and is simply part of the old camera unit that I used. Definitely worth installing like this, camera base up, as the camera angle only adjusts one way and the wrong way IMO.

I am now giving this 5 Stars. The front camera is clear, just my stupid fault for not taking the protective film off the lens, and i’m a photographer “doooh”
Impressive bit of kit for the money, crisp clear picture that you can adjust easily and if camera is fitted upside down you can flip and turn left to right mirror images in the settings.
Left out the last star since there are improvements yet to be done on this product.
1. It’s a shame that one can only record front, what about back cam for evidence as most interesting stuff actually happens behind like getting hit from behind etc (firmware update required)
2. The brightness of cars behind to harsh on the eyes from the reflected video images on the mirror, so I don’t use it in video mode…problem is . The poweroff setting starts from one minute and actually goes off after about 3 minutes , you should add 15 and 30 seconds as due to the defect mentioned above most people will be using the mirror and not the video mirror. (Firmware)
Oh and I hope the firmware is upgradable.
Also try adding wireless for internet (hardware I bliv)

I install these types of cameras at work. This one is one of the best I’ve fitted in terms of quality and ease of fitting. Sales team couldn’t be more helpful. I would recommend 100%.
When fitting this product, which was easy as pie, when it came to fitting the rear camera I decided to mount as the instruction`s advised, by the number plate, only problem is that my tailgate release and plate light is central, no problem just put it to the right (offside) and put a slight angle when sticking the camera to the bodywork, now wish I had mounted inside as when it rains water covers the camera, but hey is does not rain all of the time? with all the rear cable now threaded through the tailgate I connected the the two cables and found there was a fault near to the connection plug on the long cable and rear camera would not work unless I wriggled the cable, I contacted Wolfbox via the email address and partly my fault I received the wrong replacement cable again I emailed them and got the right cable this was all done within 2 days what great customer service and the camera is first class as well I would recommend Wolf box product’s to all.
I did quiet a bit of research before diving in. This was the product I chose. Well made and nicely packaged. I also bought the hardwire kit for parking mode/ security. My level of skills are very low. But that said. I found it super easy to install and fit it to a semi professional level of quality. Almost no wires to see. I will confess I had a friendly engineer/mechanic help me wire in the hardwire kit as I knew what I wanted and no idea how to get there. Once up and running had a brief issue with no picture or video. Only thumb nails. I think it was something to do with freshly formatted memory card. Now it all works super well! I am very impressed with the cameras. Even travelling down a pitch black country lanes you can still make out stuff in the rear view mirror/ rear camera. The contrast is very good too! In the dark the front camera appears to make bright areas brighter while not getting dazzled by headlights. Simple to use. I will have to see how the exported videos look to give a final verdict. But very impressed so far! Good work Wolfbox!

Initially worried about the night view but to my surprise it is brighter than what we see in the regular mirror..
Absolutely no lag in video feed you can rely on this completely.
I completely stopped using the mirror
GPS is useful however don’t rely on this for Speed it always shows bit slower than your actual speed.. it is not problem with this GPS but all GPS device in general.
Overall more than what I expected!
However, an extra strap and small tool to insert the wire would have been better!
I struggled at first to install this, my first time… But with a bit of help from the staff (Mia) who is very helpful and responsive provided me with the hardwire kit to have the G-Sensor function, as well as a guided instruction on where to connect on the fuse.
I installed this in my camper van which has a rear view mirror with no visibility out the back, adding this screen with the rear camera has been a game changer, I can now constantly see a rear view, plus by wiring the red wire at the camera end into my reverse light, the screen switches on the (adjustable) reversing lines to help you line up. The camera quality is great, the screen is crisp and clear, the touch screen interface is easy to use. When I asked about wiring, the seller even sent me a wiring harness to wire directly to my fuse box.
This is not only a great product at a fantastic price, but the seller communicated well and was very helpful.
I brought this product and I absolutely love it..Best dash cam I’ve owned..so easy to install..quality is brilliant..so easy to use..but unfortunately the back camera got knocked off so I had to try to replace it so I rang wolfbox and to my surprise they sent out a new one..no towing and throwing they just sent it out I was over the moon with my new replaced camera..Heidi sent it out first class to and made sure I had received it and happy..I’ve never experienced anything like it..I was so releived so thank you Heidi and thank you wolfbox..you are outstanding on all levels

Just one thing to mention. It doesn’t say in the add, but this particular model is for a left hand drive cars. Had to get a replacement that suits RH, but seller made that process in no time.
Everything works well. The hardest part is getting wires from a to b. I just tucked them under the trim on my Mini so not too bad. It is an excellent quality product.

When you drive at night the rear camera is good until the car behind you shine there lights at the camera.It makes it impossible to see behind you. The camera needs a filter upgrade to stop the glear but you cannot fit one as an extra. So you have to turn the screen off and use the reflection to drive.
Product arrived promptly, was very well made and packaged, the quality of the camera is very good, I bought it for a campervan 6.5m in length the lead that came in the box for the rear camera was about 2m short, emailed the seller and they sent out a longer lead which arrived the next morning. Very good customer service

– there is the rear at night – notice in the sections with no rear light how it flickers when light appears? That happens on the screen too – quite distracting! (I couldn’t upload another video, but the footage is as you’d expect really)
Like most cameras now, getting footage in good light is not a problem, and this one also copes well in the dark too. Keep in mind that my rear camera in the videos is looking out through 70% tinted windows, so will already be darker than most usages.
Firstly, installation is pretty easy – just need to neatly route the cables, and hardwire as required.
Onto actual usage, I’ll address my questions from when I bought this, followed by some of the downpoints.
– if you have a rear camera connected, when you turn it on, it defaults to showing that (at least, with my settings it does, which is just what I wanted)
– you can have it turn off to act as a regular mirror automatically
– the screen is bright enough to use in daylight (at least, in a van it is. It might struggle in a car with more windows)
– the image quality is pretty decent
The downsides:
– there is no automatic brightness on the screen, so it’s just as bright at night as in the day
– in the dark, if there is nothing behind you (quiet road) then it displays a fuzzy black screen, which can get quite annoying (see video)
– if something does appear behind you, it can pick it up, but often flashes a green across the whole display while it readjusts to the new light source. This can be pretty annoying too, especially on a motorway where there is often stuff appearing behind you
– the recorded image quality isn’t quite as good as the dedicated dashcams in our other cars, but it’s still passable
Overall, I’m very impressed though and it makes driving/parking the van a lot easier. I’d definitely buy again, and assuming this stays realible, would be happy to recommend this (although I might just turn it off at night to avoid the flickering)
This is by far the best dashcam I have ever had, I particularly wanted a decent rear image and this fits the bill perfectly. The mirror camera (front) was so easy it almost fitted itself and the rear camera was also easy with more than long enough cable. I will not be using the reverse capability as my car has a reverse cam already. I cannot recommend this enough, it’s just about perfection, don’t think, just buy one, you won’t be sorry.
I have a Gen 2 prius which has a very sloped rear window which makes the rear view very limited. This camera has completely transformed my rear view. I can now see everything in HD quality even at night. It also has reverse parking assist lines which you can turn on which makes parking so much easier. It has a built in forward facing dashcam to record what’s happening in the front. It would be nice if the rear one recorded as well but so be it. I had a couple or product questions and an issue with the camera not always booting on power on but the aftersales support from Wolfbox has been the best I have ever received from any company in my 57 years. Karren has responded to every single query quickly and with useful information that resolved my issues.
So impressed with the quality of this. When I contacted them to enquire about an extension to the rear camera lead I need for my motorhome..no problem. The very helpful Karen said they will post one out time free of charge. Well packaged . Feels like a quality product. Images are crisp and clear . Included the data card. Easy and intuitive to use. Very impressed all round.
I was unsure whether this would work for my car and also had a problem with the wiring working. They came back to me on both very rapidly and replaced the wiring by return post. Excellent service when there is a query.
Got this Dash Cam, I am a car savy person, this was an easy install. The picture quality is very good during the day time, the dash cam covers the blind spots . At night time, the picture quality is good. The camera replay back is all easy to use and settings are also good. The GPS shows your speed and direction. The customer support were very responsive and handled my issues promptly and purposefully so I would reccommend as I felt supported after recieving the product. I hope it lasts for years to come.
We have a 7mt motorhome, reversing is now a doodle, very easy, as soon as you put into reverse you a great picture showing detail. Forward or back, what ever the weather, Our only little, tiny problem was hiding the cables. Make sure you get the correct cable, we bought the 33ft cable and only had 1 ft (30cms) spare at the end. Took a whole day to fit, very pleased.
We have not had it installed yet,we are not mechanically minded so best bet is to get a mechanic to install it for us. Looks great and will update when we have it installed. What I can say the seller is amazing, very quick and promp replies and ever so helpful.
I wanted a dash cam with display and reverse camera and I’m happy I chose this one.
I decided to install this in my works car park after a 12 hour shift just because I had the box in the car from it being delivered that day. It only took me 25-30 minutes and all I used was a plastic ‘trim remover’ pry tool to hide the wiring – with a little confidence this can be installed by a complete novice.
This is the first mirror type Dash Cam I have bought. I have to say I was really impressed when I switched the system on. Firstly the clarity from both cameras is excellent. I tested the system on a very dull and rainy day, compared with my normal rear view mirror image, the scope and clarity from the rear camera was outstanding. I do a lot of driving in across Europe, and this dash cam is going to provide a much wider rear view, essential when you have a right hand drive car. The function of being able to switch from front to rear camera image and split screen is great, the Lane departure warning system and speedo is helpful too, don’t have to look down at the dashboard. Installation was fine, hardest part (like all rear view cameras) is routing the wire to the front. One minor issue I found was that the reversing live wire was not long enough, easily fixed. If you like tinkering with cars this should be a breeze. All in all I was super pleased with this product, does exactly what it is supposed to, good quality with some neat functions.
I haven’t installed this yet but connected it up to a battery pack to test and it seems OK. I’ll probably come back later after a few months use.
Mine arrived without 3M sticky tape for rear camera and no SD card. They took a couple of days to get back to me but did which is the important thing and sorted a replacement card and bits within days. I’ll add pics and review in a while once installed
Do what should do. Work fantastic. I’m very happy with this mirror. Only one thing wich I can complain is video quality at night – could be better, but is not to bad anyway.
I had it fitted by an auto electrician (expensive) but you know everything is safe and connected correctly.
I had a couple of problems after, but the staff at Wolfbox answered my e mails straight away, and we had it going in Minutes
I had not read the user manual properly old age me thinks.
The mirror is a great size a vast improvement of my previous 10 inch ( size does matter).
So I recommend this product and the seller amongst the many mirror cams on the market.
I was dubious about buying this at first as for so many other products had bad reviews but this product is exactly what it sates it is I can’t big it up anymore well worth buying.
Great item. I use this on my transit van as I missed having a rear view mirror. Camera quality is very good. Really easy to install and the screen quality is good. Feels almost like having a proper rear view mirror. Records both front and rear cameras and has some cool speed and GPS features as well. Expensive, but much better than the cheaper versions
had six dash cam before but this is the best ever every van should have one of this mirror front and back cam .
The front camera which sticks out cannot be repositioned, over in UK we drive on the right, the camera is on the left so when the rear view mirro is angle to face you the camera turns to the left and records what’s ahead at an angle, as you are driving rather than record what’s in front of you the camera captures the pavement more. Other products out there with camera on the right or. adjustable
Camera:
Day: Front – is amazing with great quality and wide view range, Rear – good as well, good quality.
Night: Front – Clear vision, actually helping a lot especially in dark places, Rear – it’s ok in town but if there is no street lights quality is really bad, all you can see is lights from the car behind you.
GPS – works really good.
Easy to install, easy to set up, well explained, cables long enough (VW Arteon).
I bought this to use on my van, fitting it was pretty straightforward as I mounted it just above the number plate and fed an extended 33′ cable through the van which I bought seperately. I wasn’t expecting anything wonderful and just wanted something that would allow me to see when reversing as I have a long wheel base van and although its mirrors are great you obviously cannot see how close you are getting to the kerb etc.
I watched several online review videos for it before purchasing it so knew it should be reasonable, however I was quite shocked by the quality of it, while driving the image on the screen is clear and you can easilly see number plates etc and also how close cars are behind. However having just driven the van at night I was amazed at how impressive the night vision is, before connecting and wiring it into the van I did the usual “man” thing and connected it to a power source and had a play and wasn’t overly impressed with the camera in the dark of the van, however now that its fitted and can obviously adjust to the night its actually amazing.
Was good value for money. I have a VW T6 camper van so thought I would need the longer cable. I didn’t as the cable supplied would have been plenty long enough.
Initially I didn’t buy the hardwire kit… the screen kept going blank as if it was rebooting! But after fitting the hardwire kit ( you have to buy as an extra) it was perfect. Not sure what use the gps is?? If there was an app you could load on mobile to connect as a tracking device that would have been useful. Or an app to alert you if the parking sensor was started due to a bump that also would have been useful. I wanted a dash cam with the parking alert so that if I was in a car park and someone went into me then it would be recorded but unless I inspect my van, find damage and then take the micro card out and put it into a computer then it’s not really any good for what I wanted! Maybe a camera that links to a mobile app would have been better for me in hindsight!
Annoyingly I am not the best with vehicle electrics so I found it easier not to set up the reversing aspect of it, however still installed the camera to see a live view of rear. Otherwise this mirror cam is absolutely perfect for the price. Clear and precise non lag picture. Night mode doesn’t work I’m unsure whether I can enable this or not? But regardless very happy, will be purchasing again for my fathers van.

Nice cam, the only issue is the mirror gives double reflexion of vehicles light. Might be confusing initially but I got used to it. Not sure if this would be an issue at the MOT test!
The camera in general is pretty good, just disappointed that it becomes useless at night when it’s raining because it gets on the rear camera and makes it impossible to see.
Easy install, and great quality, takes a bit of getting used different mirror display but used to it in no time, not sure if it records through rear cam but resolution is amazing, highly recommend this produc
I am really impressed with this dash cam. It records front and rear simultaneously and as I drive a small van with no rear windows, the rear camera enables me to see what behind me via the impressive rear view mirror shaped screen. The functions and controls are clear and snappy. You can even review footage on the screen. On my old dash cam you had to remove the memory card and insert into a pc to review footage. Oh that reminds me, this Wolfbox cam comes with a memory card included! Great product which I wouldn’t be without. If you’re looking for a decent dash cam which won’t break the bank look no further!

Worked fine for 2-3 months. now all it does is crash other times camera won’t come on a d left with a black screen. Or after I finished reverse the camera sticks in reverse mode untill I shut the car off and reboot the camera. Not very happy.

Contacted Amazon. Amazon would not let me return it as it was over a month. But told me to contact the seller wolfbox. So I did told them all the problems I was having. At 1st they wanted to send me a new power cable but told them I know it was not the power cable as I’ve got it hard wired to the car and I’ve kept the supplyed power supply and that didint work either. The next day I was told they have sent me a replacement dash-cam and within 2 days I’ve received the new camera. So far it’s working. So just wanted to update to see the customer support is great. Very happy customer.
Super quality product. works better than expected. easy setup and menu navigation. Top Tip. If you have a mini van like me or anything with no boot, fit the rear camera inside the back window. Picture is perfect and the camera lens will never get dirt or wet on it in bad weather.
Rear camera takes some skill to install and requires that you drill an oversized hole for the cables. Unless you have experience with auto electrics I’d advise getting the advice of a professional for this stage. The dash cam refresh rate isn’t great but adequate. Great touch screen and effortless installation of the mirror dash cam but does need that rear camera or you lose your rear view mirror. All in all I’m satisfied but next time I’d consider a multi camera solution (x4) with a dedicated screen. Hope this helps
I brought this for my van as I had no rear mirror, this functions excellently as just that. The parking camera is great however could have done with a warning sensor when too close. The only downside is I wanted this connected all the time. However I did get a flat battery from it over a full weekend so I have been unplugging the cigarette lighter everytime I’m not using the van. The downside to this is it doesn’t save the time. I have marked down to 3 stars for this. I managed to hide all of the wiring pretty good, the original camera cable broke before I used it so brought a replacement and works fine.
After writing the original review I was sent an hardwire kit which I never got around to doing. I have now done that this weekend as my van have been in the garage and I was unable to work. Once I got the van back I set about removing trims and looking for my cable route which I found down one of the pillars on the front windsreen. I ran the cable down assembling as I went this was moderatly tricky at times.
I got the cables down to the fusebox under the steering wheel. Managed to plug in and after a few tries I heard the camera switch on. Away we go….. dashcam now working when on ignition. loads happier with it it now saves the time etc. I’ve heard others moaning about the noise. This is either lane departure warning system or its over speed alter. You simply need to disable these or set a higher speed.
I can confirm though after using for a long period of time.. Its not so good as a rear mirror. cars overtaking on the right appear on the left of the screen, I almost had a crash with this (flipped camera) now its angled down so I cant see them. Also has others have said glare is an issue.. I’m thinking of slightly tinting the lense with some of that film you buy for windshield. Maybe that will stop it a bit from sun and lights.

This was the only camera I could find that fitted my very specific list of requirements for a motorhome conversion. The screen and picture are tremendous. I followed the wiring instructions to the letter and it fired up first time with no issues. I did have to contact customer service for a replacement spare part and while initially apprehensive I was blown away by their speed and efficiency in sorting the issue. A really great package and amazingly well supported by the brand.
This is overall an excellent reversing camera. I found both video and photo quality excellent. The only grasp I have is that I would prefer to have the lense on the other side of the mirror as with right hand drive and the titl of your mirror I’m struggling to get it set exactly how I want. The problem is with the lens being positioned on left side of the mirror which causes it to interfere with your original mirror, although you can adjust the lense slightly it’s still getting blocked by the side of your mirror you have mounted it on. Fairly easy to install as well so overall I’m happy but would not buy for that one reason of the lense being on wrong side of the casing.

Easy to install, though I’ve not hardwired it yet. The hardwire kit was sent out for free, and after some back and forth emails they sent me an update out for the camera as it wasn’t always showing the speed and compass direction. This seems to have fixed it, but sometimes it can take a couple of minutes for the information to show. I have my rear camera set up internally, and even though my window is fully tinted the video clarity is still as clear as day. At night its dark, can still clearly see lights etc, but not as dark as the standard mirror. The company do not recommend to set it up this way but it works for me. Currently awaiting the old man to do some research on the fuse box of my Mini Cooper so it can be hardwired and I can get all the benefits of the camera. Would I recommend? Yes, yes I would!!

There is nothing to dislike about this product. If I had to be picky about anything, if there were a way of fitting it as a replacement to the original mirror it would be much better.
I got this for the wife’s Audi A4 convertible. The camera fits well over the rear view mirror and also purchased the wiring kit as didn’t want to plug into the cigarette lighter as is on a permanent 12 volts.
A bit tricky getting the wires to the rear view camera as couldn’t go over the roof but got there via side panels and under carpet.
Great piece of kit and easy to use.
View is very good and a very wide angle, you can see the cars overtaking until they are visible in the side mirror. Some glare from the screen on sunny days. Easy enough to fit, hardest was the video cable to the front but that’s the same with all kits. Good menu system, easy to use.
Spot on. It’s a shame the reversing camera does not record , but the quality of the images is amazing.
Dash cam looks solid, all part are high quality. The wires for my Yeti have enough leng. In dash cam mirror picture is in very good quality. I did not check videos on pc to make real wiev of recording quality. I ordered hardwire also becouse in my opinion it is poor that the charger has no slot USB for charge phone etc most of cars have only one cigarette power slot and you need to decide what you want do through drive, use camera or charge phone etc. It is little not fair, I don’t mean it is cheating, that you have to choose between safe or comfort (road recording vs daily use of power slot).
I’ve tried a few dash cams and this one is the best by a long way, I drive a van with a bulkhead so have no rear view mirror, but I have now with this camera. Brillia

Easy to install, starts as soon as the ignition turns on, its great that you can adjust the picture shown on the screen up and down and the picture quality is pretty good. The glare from headlights in the dark or in tunnels is not great though. Pretty good product for the price though.

Originally purchased the 10 inch model but it was too small and couldn’t get the correct angle for the camera when fitted to the car’s 10 inch mirror, so had to exchange it for the 12 inch version. PERFECT.
Easy to install, camera is great until it rains heavy, then the picture becomes blurred.
Open the box and there’s quite a “Wow!” factor. Beautifully made, very solid with very obvious and easy connections. Installation is quite easy if you sit down and read the instructions thoroughly first. The main thing to consider is which fuse to connect to, and finding it on your particular vehicle.
Once you have got it installed and running (it comes with a good instruction booklet) you will see the excellent picture quality and clever screen information layout. Overall a thoroughly recommended product.
Hi everyone I would just like to say this camera is fantastic. The camera clips to your original mirror and ours is 10″ long so we went for the 12″ mirror which fits much better. The lens is on the left hand passenger side and gives a really clear picture of the road a head. This camera is really easy to set up and I don’t like wires showing so I carefully hid the wires in the car trim. The rear camera was a little bit tricky to route the wire to and it took a couple of hours in all.
Overall this is a great product and I did loads of research and comparing before I bought this and I haven’t been disappointed. Strongly recommend.
I bought this for my 7.65m long Motorhome to provide a “rear view mirror” to see what’s behind me and to help with reversing as well as a dashcam. I ordered the extra length cable to go with it. Installation in a Motorhome is not that difficult, but running the cable to the rear is time consuming. When installation was complete I had issues with the screen flickering and turning off which made it unusable. Wolfbox support was responsive and really helpful. They sent two replacement mirrors and assisted with troubleshooting until we realised that the power lead was faulty. They sent a replacement and refunded all postage costs promptly. A good product and excellent service – well done Wolfbox!

I bought this camera to have a constant rear view picture in my motorhome as the one fitted works best for reversing. Firstly, the remote camera lead supplied was too short for a long van or a motorhome so I contacted Wolfbox and a new longer lead was sent immediately free of charge – impressed. Fitting was straightforward as its plug and play, and I ran the cable following an existing cable run under the MH chassis. The camera comes with a very sticky adhesive 3M pad so be really sure you pick the right spot as it won’t come off! The easy touch screen was connected to my interior mirror as it was done. The picture quality of the rear camera is brilliant crystal clear and has nigh vision mode. I hit my first slight issue when driving as the GPS speed was half of what I was travelling at. Spoke to the great people at Wolfbox and was end a firmware update and it now works perfectly. The touch screen can be adjusted to show front, rear or split cameras but I tend to use rear only. For 100 it is a great piece of kit and I now know what is behind me in the blind spot all the time. Highly recommend.

A brilliant camera and mirror. The image quality is really good and gives you a much much wider field of view than looking out the back window the traditional way, the back camera is really easy to instal and wire up to the reversing light given you have a basic understanding of how to do it.
Being able to adjust the height of the view from the camera has been a really big benefit to me for reversing as you can adjust it to suit your needs and really look down the back of the car which is simply not possible with a standard mirror.
Along with this bight the front and rear camera have amazing field of views so for recording footage you really do get the entire windshield recorded to capture everything.
Good product apart from I carnt get the videos from it onto my phone with my sd card reader it’s just not working even on a laptop the videos don’t come through

I know that very often you see these things and think Cheap Chinese and your expectations are pretty low. I’m genuinely blown away by this. Camera quality is amazing. Adjustable and can scroll it up or down to suit your vehicle. Reverse camera so amazing quality but almost too zoomed in but has to fit multiple vehicle types so understandable but it works flawlessly and amazing quality. The front camera does the same. Only criticism and again car dependent is there isn’t enough room for cables to fit in the top of the unit for GPS/rear camera etc but unresolved this using a plastic spacer to adjust the angle and get the front camera right and cables fitted. Imagine in an SUV etc it wouldn’t be a problem but my estate focus it’s to tight and points the camera up to high. Value for money if I could give it 6 stars I would. Works perfect footage is great, g force sensor locks in dash cam footage does better than previous 200+ dash cam systems. If your thinking about this or similar systems buy this one.
Now this is the daddy!, if your like me and love 4×4 & your gadgets in the truck then this is the one, it does what it say on the box ticked all the boxes for me & my 4×4 as a canopy on so rear view so not the best , till i fitted this bad boy, the camera’s front and back are top Quality , ive had rearview cam’s before but not at this specification, so easy to set up i think it taken me 105mins top and i move the rear cam twice, i went for mid range on price with this product, & to be honest it’s under priced in my book. kenny the husband
As a dash cam it’s pretty much perfect. Picture quality is brilliant. I got it mostly for the time lapse security feature, after extensive research across all of the Wolfbox cameras available from the seller on amazon i picked this one. I chose it because i felt the mirror mounted aspect of it was subtle and it wouldn’t attract thieves etc because it didn’t appear to be an expensive dash cam. I also didn’t want the person i suspect is keying my car to notice there were cameras present.
I was looking for a 24 hour parking mode/monitor and this delivers on that, the others all were described as responding to motion. I tried mini cams with this function and found that through a car window infrared motion detection will not trigger. So i suspect that wouldn’t have worked for me. Also the others were described as only recording with the front cam in this mode. This camera records time lapse footage 24 hours from when you exit/power down your car. You need to have it hardwired in to the car for this to work, which I did, I had done by a professional which looked like a nightmare to do frankly more because of the robust nature of my car and its panels than anything though.
Also it’s important to add it will ONLY record for 24 hours and then will cease so as not to deplete to your cars battery. So if like me you wanted this for surveillance then you need to check on your car and turn it on each day. Make sure you remember when you checked it last so as not to miss any potential vandalism etc.
It will record a time lapse video which you can set, i used 0.5 seconds myself and will FRONT and BACK record for 24 hours.
The dash cam starts recording automatically when you drive. I don’t use the reverse parking cam because mine is mounted inside the car and not externally, but with the clarity of both cameras i’m sure it would be really awesome for that. If you had it installed in the bumper like a smart person.
I’m really happy with this so far. I got the Wolfbox hardwiring kit, i’d recommend hardwiring it because you can’t use the time lapse parking mode without that. I did this because some POS has vandalised my car. One thing i’d say in regards to time lapse/parking mode is that it’s not perfect, there are areas out of view on either side of the car and if the weather is bad, rain etc and your mirrors mist up then it’s probably not going to be much good at these times.
Another positive aspect is that it’s really pretty subtle, i think people would have to really know what they were looking for to spot this in your car, especially at night, assuming it’s hard wired in nicely without visible wires.
There were others available designed for right hand drive cars as we have in the U.K but i got this one as it had the most features and best suited my needs. I’m not finding the camera being on the left side a problem at all to be honest. It’s wide angle enough it would catch goings on without being perfectly aligned or close to the drivers perspective or whatever. So if you want this and are thinking it’s not the UK version and unsuitable, i’d say don’t worry about that.
I don’t really pay any attention what so ever to the GPS tracker but that seems to work just fine.
It’s actually pretty easy to navigate the menu and logical, it’s been quite fun looking at what happens when i’m not around. It’s nice having the wide display and being able to review the footage, be that dash cam or parking monitor footage. I think if something happened and you wanted to see it it might be easier to do on a PC though.
I was also worried it wouldn’t be good as a regular mirror, it did seem kind of dark to me at first but now i don’t think i’d want to go back to my regular rear view mirror. It works well as a standard mirror and the darkness of it reduces glare while allowing you to see everything. If anything it’s a better rear view mirror because it’s wider than any i’ve ever seen on a U.K vehicle. So it’s a good mirror on its own without even being plugged in etc.
It is packed so well you will want to keep the packaging, even a micro fibre cleaning cloth is included.
I only wanted an electronic rear view mirror for my motor home but this gives so much more.
The fact that it is also a front and rear dash cam makes it well worth the price!
As a dash cam it is better than the other 2 I have which cost 3 times the price.
For me just as a rear view mirror it was well worth the cost and I missed out on the deals and ended up paying 119

i was able to hide all of the cables in the linings so there is only about 3 inches of cable showing in total looks good
Fitted the rear camera on the underside of the bumper so that it can not be knocked or even seen
Set was a little frustrating as i could not follow the manual as i did not have all of the options they said in the manual when for a test drive and discovered that the sped displayed was wrong but the spread notification was correct so i knew the GPS was working but had to be a software issue i gave up at this point and sent an email to the company and what a service i had the fix the next morning with a firmware upgrade and please to say all sorted they have to be given 10 out of 10 and a gold star
i did include the firmware release and the problems in the email.
we all know how often we get the runaround and they ask us to do all the things we have already tried none of this just new firmware and it worked as instructed
Best part of this camera i think is the ability to adjust the reversing lines to suit you and your car i have not seen this before and the fact that you can adjust the angle and length of the lines bets to use a bucket and then you set it up on you own

Great product, never installed something like this before but managed it no problem. The hardest part was working out how to get the cable into the rear bumper but that was no fault of the product.
Clear image and very intuitive user face will definitely recommend in the future.
