I find the chain slips very easily, and I’m constantly having to put it back on. I’ve followed the instructions and can’t work out if it’s a case of a bad workman blaming the tool or the tool being of poor quality. I’ve tightened the screw for the chain, which is part of the chain guard, and I think this is perhaps key – it simply can’t be tightened any tighter, which leaves is too loose. Any advice would be appreciated.

Makes life so much easier for reaching the higher branches etc

Great piece of kit. You need to get use to it but when you get to know how to use it you can do all it says on the box.
    Very pleased with it.

Having Worx equipment already, I had battery and charger.

It’s very solid and well made.

It seems to cut very well. Currently my largest cut is about 4 inches.

It’s a little heavy to use, but that probably helps with cutting.

    Would thoroughly recommend.

This works very well, I spent a couple of hours sawing through branches ranging from and inch to about 5 inches thick and it performed well, I pruned 4 trees and the battery was still at about 50%

It can be a bit of a strain on your back and arms, due to the weight when fully extended, but that could just be the way I was using it. Perhaps an extra/different harness or strap could help. But it’s not enough to put me off using it

All in all I’m very happy with it and my trees are looking a lot less messy.

The chain did need tightening a few times but I’m guessing that’s partly due to it being new and partly due to what chainsaws do.

Using this telescopic chainsaw I literally cut and pruned down a whole tree together with other WORX tools a must fantastic tool for higher cuttings your not able to reach with normal tools

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThere have been a lot of comments about the true reach of this pole chainsaw and I can confirm that claims it reaches 4 metres or even the 3.6 metres displayed on the box are misleading and untrue. The full length of this tool, fully extended from the tip of the chainsaw to the handle with no battery attached is 270 cm. However I am not going to mark it down from over enthusiastic marketing because the actual length is just about as much as a normal person can handle given the weight of the saw. You still get a pretty decent height off the ground once you take your own height into consideration and the saw itself cuts really well. All in all it is an impressive tool and it is going to be extremely useful for Autumn tree pruning. It cuts very thin branches and much thicker branches with ease and I love the share battery concept which allows me to use the same battery across a number of Worx tools including their brilliant little cube vacuum cleaner which cleans 2 cars on one charge!

Batteries lasted far longer than expected. Cut some 150 mm (6 inches) branches without any problems. Easy to use and far safer than clambering up a ladder with a chain saw. Would recommend very impressed. I am now considering purchasing the Cordless chainsaw due to just pressing the trigger when up a ladder and immediate stop when released. Safety first stops immediately.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersQuick delivery. Very impressed with the battery saw performance. I have compatible drill battery which comes in handy
The longer the Pole, the heavy it gets, that’s just law of gravity, so it takes getting use, make sure use of shoulder strap, and don’t drop saw blade against the ground. Wipe blade after use to keep it well. Look forward to see it keeping up with a good work.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI already have a Worx chainsaw and some of their other units – and they are all great.

This pole pruner extends unbelievably high and still is perfectly sturdy. The small chainsaw at the end runs at the touch of a button and easily cuts through branches up to about 18cm or about 7 inches across – and those are thick and heavy branches – you really need to take care to stand well clear.
The chainsaw itself adjust so that the cut is horizontal even though you are cutting 3 m above your head and it can also adjust sideways for awkward angles.
The chainsaw end is quite heavy and needs reasonable strength to lift it up and to stop it hitting the ground once it cuts through.

If you have a large garden, a smallholding or a farm with mature trees, you will need this.
It sure is far far cheaper than tree surgeons!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWorks well. Disappointed that it could not be used without both extensions. This makes it very hard to cut up the fallen limbs.
A small amount of lube oil would have been welcome as not everyone would have this lying around.
