Another addition to my collection of Worx tools, for value for money and reliability I can’t fault Worx tools

    Quality Worx tools

Great tool. The blades wear out quickly, but are cheap enough to buy. Wish I bought one sooner.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersCan’t believe how useful this tool has been since I got it. Cut though a skirting board, sanded down awkward areas, cut a pipe, cut laminated floor, removed tiles, removed old plaster and glue from walls and floor.
Not sure how I managed without it but used almost every day since I’ve got and seems to be no end to situations where it comes in handy.
Fantastic quality, feels really solid. Like others have commented, tools that come with it not great quality (wear out very quickly) but easily solved with a set/kit from Screwfix. Buy it – you definitely won’t regret this purchase and you’ll quickly get through all those odd jobs you meant to do but have left because you don’t have the right tool.

D I Y , it is quite lite cuts well must get more blades as old makes I have,, blades to them some don’t fit all in all good so far, lets hope I don’t use the insurance if it goes wrong as 3 different makes be fore did , they don’t seem to last long, shame

Really good tool. One small gripe, the wood saw blade soon goes blunt. I bought a second one as a spare but had to bring it into use after a very short time, it did not last any longer. Having said that I was able to re-sharpen them with a narrow triangle shaped file giving much extended life. Never the less, I would highly recommend this tool.

This thing went through floorboards like a hot knife through butter.
Also used the sanding pads on some skirting. Very good for the money.

Probably the best tool I’ve bought for a long time. I’ve been an electrician for over 50yrs. Why has it taken me so long to buy this. Most of my tools now are cordless. I bought this as a mains tool as I thought it wouldn’t get used much. Up to now I have used it for loads of jobs. This tool really has made stuf easier. Bought extra accessories. Highly likely recommended

This tool has performed well. May not be considered a tip brand but it has done everything it has been asked to do. For DIY tasks it is perfect. Like most of these types of tool it can be very loud. It has a universal tool fixing so additional cutting ends are easy to come by.

Why had I never bought one of these before. Quality item. Loved the blade locking key storage holder on the tool its self so no searching round when replacing blade. The cutting tool is very sharp and cuts through floor boards with ease. I’ve used this on plastic trunking too. I found very easy to use and saved me so much time and effort. Just take care during use ..slices through like hot knife in butte

The tool was indispensable for a recent project to lay wooden flooring in a hallway. Removing old thresholds was so much easier using this tool. I haven’t used some of the other heads but I am sure they will work just as well. Great value for money

Have bought 2 cheap ones on past. The build quality of the worx is top notch.
You are not ripped off having to buy their own blades as most blades fit, in fact I have not found one that had not although I would imagine the star fittings would not. But who wants to pay 30 quid a blade.
Very happy and as a Amazon warehouse it was a bargain. Would but from the worx range again.

Purchased this in a flash sale after hours of research on different multi tools. After a few days use I can say it really has been money well spent. I’m a complete novice when it comes to DIY but this is really easy to use. Extremely powerful with 6 speeds and the ability to use after market blades is fantastic. Made exceptionally light work of grout removal and cutting into plaster, wood etc.

I believe you can attach a Vac for dust removal to this but unsure how to do that yet. I have no hesitation in buying another one of these if it breaks.

Couple of things to note- it is very loud and you do need to take breaks in using it as hand shakes a little after prolonged usage.
    Highly recommended

Great product. Makes light work of difficult DIY tasks

Excellent versatile tool but bit disappointed with number of assessories as most were sanding papers. Also the sanding attachment wore down on one side on first use so not impressed.

I paid a bit more for a brand I had heard of, coming with a box and toolless blade changing.
The box is just big enough that the tool with blade attached, can be stored in it – a definate plus when compared with some other budget tool purchases.
It has the feel and look of a quality tool but have only used it once and only time will tell.
It is a bit noisy and it does vibrate a bit, something I was hoping to avoid at this price point. So one star deducted.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersTwo years on, and I’ve battered the heck out of this tool every week, but it still keeps going.
Cutting plywood, complex shapes in heavier material, detail & brute force, trimming, sanding, whatever. Even tiles, metal & stone.
Really wasn’t sure what to expect as bought on a whim, but having now used several other manufacturer’s multitools I’m quite content that Worx built a fine machine here.
On top of the robustness & power, the blade change beats all others for simplicity, which really counts when you’re switching a lot.
Bit of a gushing review, but worth it. Feels like an old friend now & has got me easily out of a few things that no other type of power tool can do in so straightforward a manner.
If it dies (which I’m surprised it hasn’t, having been dropped from height, abused etc.), then I’d immediately buy another Worx one, which I suppose is the highest compliment I can give it.

    Bombproof, well-designed..

My second Worx multitool. Only bought this as I’ve given the older one to my son and fancied the newer version. The fancy new accessory fixing mechanism is simplicity to use. A great bit of kit.

I’m gouging our old mortar joints in a large Indian stone driveway area, been doing it by hand for weeks – difficult backbreaking work!

I bought this tool, it’s excellent! More than twice as fast as doing by hand, and it’s not physically demanding work, very pleased and it will make this job MUCH easier!

I am using the ‘boot’ design diamond cutter bits for cutting out the existing mortar/jointing – with great effect.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Userswhy have I not purchased one of these before? I needed this to sand down my wooden staircase, it was perfect for the job. I’ve used the sanding plate it came with, plus one by a third party and both are great, hold the pads in place very securely and I had no problems fitting the third party plate. Compared to the orbital sander I was using initially to sand down the main part of the stairs, this chucks up hardly any dust in comparison (due to the way the head moves), plus it’s quieter too. in the end I used this to sand down the whole staircase and not just the corners, and it handled it easily, highly recommend!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersNeeded to lift some floorboards and didn’t fancy hammering away with a hammer and bolster. I used this with a DeWalt wood and nails semi circular blade attachment, to both split the tongue and groove, and cut across the boards. Made light work of it. The body of the saw got warm at times, suggesting it may not be up to large jobs, but was ideal for what I needed.

This purchase was a replacement for the same Sonicrafter WX680 F30 model that I bought in 2016 (price then was 54). I made a fundamental error and used the tool to the extreme and burnt the motor out – my mistake and I was getting on so well trying to cut down some tree stumps. Maybe this tool isn’t suited to this type of task. I will be more careful with my new tool (this one cost 89, so big price jump) All said and done – this tool is an amazing piece of kit and with the extra attachments I bought, it is so versatile. Highly recommended!!

I have three householders (one son, two partners) in the family, and they all do diy. I bought them each one of these multi-tools for Christmas. They are the most versatile power tool I have – you can cut almost anything that you can get a blade to, in fact you can often use this where you can’t get a handtool blade. I’ve often used it for freehand shape cutting in a solid block of wood that would take me ages with a chisel.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWe are renovating an old cottage and this tool Has tackled job after job brilliantly. It’s done the job of a jigsaw cutting metal pipping for a shower screen support. The job of a circular saw cutting plastic coated chipboard shelving to size. It could have saved me time had I bought it before I re grouted the bathroom. It’s helped scrape silicone sealant from places people should not have used this type of sealer. I’ve cut out a section of plaster board and wood Batons to let damp walls breathe properly. So I am left wondering how I coped before I got it on various DIY jobs???
The down side.. it’s on the heavier side, but it’s got a variable speed powerful motor and a comfortable rubberised grip so a fair trade off. The tightening bar does vibrate loose so I’ve learned to keep my thumb ontop of this in use. It limits the options down a little and it would be great if this had a simple catch to lock it down after tightening the blade into place.

Bought this device to cut the bottom of door posts to slide flooring under, but I used it far more than that. I cut cable trenches in the wall. It cut the end of nails poking out of unwanted areas. It also cut complicated joints in wood which would be hard for a jigsaw to make. It also cut a perfect hole for a cat flap in a pvc door, which doesn’t sound like much but you have no room for error. In all this is now my go to tool.

From usage so far (which has been sanding the edge of floorboards in 3 rooms), it has plenty of power and the tool free locking systems works well. Only concern is how long the plastic locking arm will last.

Made short work of trimming OSB wall linings, saved hours. It also proved very effective as one of the tools used to form pockets into brickwork to house the ends of joists, again a time saver. Never had a multi tool before but I will always have one in the future.

I’ve always wanted one of these but could never afford one. When I think of all the complicated ways that I previously used to cut copper pipes off at a wall or make a box in some plasterbaord this tool provides a very easy solution. It’s a dream to use. I have a long list of things to cut now including floor boards that are flush with the wall.

Excellent tool, many uses, I did not think of before buying one. A good addition go any tool collection. Nice storage box for tool. Some reviews misunderstand advert stated number of tools, this is total number of individual pieces not different blades by way of example 5 fitted sheets of sand paper are 5 of the pieces. Good value.
