XD Design is a proud Dutch brand present in over 50 countries and more than 3.000 retailers worldwide. Our journey started with the creation of our design Studio in Shanghai that is run by ambitious in-house designers from all over the world. But our brand, like many other success stories, started on a crowdfunding site called Kickstarter. In 2016 we launched our Bobby Anti-Theft Backpack that kicked off on a high note. Since then, we had over 50.000 backers on crowdfunding platforms, more than 3.000 customer interactions and thousands of followers on social media.
As our following massively grew, we wanted to make sure we never lost sight of what’s important to our company as well as our customers. Amo as mochilas da XD, so funcionais e duram bastante. J minha segunda. Comrpei essa porque cabe tudo que preciso e ainda me proporciona privacidade.
Like: style, function, material, comfort
Dislike: usb connectors don’t eork properly all the time.
Ho amato questo zaino sin da quanto ci ho messo gli occhi su, quindi sono un po’ di parte.
Lo uso principalmente a lavoro, la cosa che pi mi piace che ha mille tasche e non perdo mai nulla, cosa che non succede con gli altri zaini, dove non mi ricordo mai in che scomparto metto la roba.
Il materiale sembra molto buon, molti lamentano piccoli cedimenti con il tempo, vedremo.
Il peso distribuito equamente, cosa molto piacevole. strutturato molto bene.
Sono un fanatico degli scomparti/tasche nascoste per questo ho preso questo invece che la versione base.

Producto de calidad y con un diseo que personalmente me encanta. Es grande, cabe todo lo que llevo en mi da a da, ideal para porttil de hasta 16″(en mi caso MacBook Pro) y tablet de hasta 13″. Bien acolchada y reparte muy bien el peso, una vez te la pones y ajustas apenas notas el peso de la mochila. Vale la pena cada euro que vale.
Good afternoon, I am a baker and user of BOBBY BACKPACK since 2016 when I was introduced to it by KICKSTARTER. And today the four other members of my family also have it, it’s an excellent backpack, I’m just changing, because I gave my first one that was in perfect condition given the quality of the product, but I was sad when buying my second Bobby of the PRO model and when trying to put my phone in the holder that came with it, my IPHONE 12 pro didn’t fit. Here is my complaint for your arrangements. Thanks for listening.
It’s gorgeous, high quality, and holds its shape very perfectly.
Super fun to carry around and has great back support.
Idal pour les voyages, grande capacit, cl USB permettant de recharger votre tlphone, plein de poches fermeture clair et l’intrieur, on peut l’amnager de diffrente faon.
Purchased for an international trip. Perfect size fit everything I needed in it. So many pockets, fits under airplane seat and sits up when place down. So far very good bag. Some stitching seems to be coming loose on the shoulder straps but only time will tell of it will become a bigger issue.
I use my bag for work. Its great to keep organized. I keep my Ipad pro 12.9 3rd gen and my Canon rps with 24-105mm lense in the big compartment. I keep my keys, airpods, wallet, Magic mouse on the small front compartment, it fits great.
The material is solid and comfortable. This bag is great for the day to day. The only down side is the price.
The backpack is lightweight, size is sufficient to carry iPad and some stuff for a short trip. I wish phone case is a little bit bigger so I can carry my iPhone X max
Un sac dos enfin fonctionnel qui rpond mes besoins : Taille acceptable, systme anti vol, possibilit de poser une batterie portable dans le sac avec cblage extrieur, petites poches extrieures trs utiles pour les cartes de transport par exemple.
Very comfortable and light, fits quite a lot of stuff.
I love this bag! Its the perfect backpack for me. Plenty of compartments and pockets, I love the clever design of the whole bag and the fid lock system is ingenious, I have bad shoulders so having my flask or water bottle at the front of the bag is so much easier, and I don’t have to worry so much when I’m in a busy or crowded place, because I know my personal possessions are hidden away where no one can get to.
I bought this bag mostly for the “design” get it? XD Design….yeah not a good pun?
The good:
The bag is beautifully designed and uses good materials, I may or may not be in the military and need a good bag for tech school. This has lasted a month- I know it may not be long to you, I do place it on the ground (vct And concrete) multiple times per day.
In the first month there wasn’t a day that didn’t go by I didn’t hear a comment from a “student”. People comment on the sleek design ask if it’s a theft proof bag and how much it was….more in price later.
I really liked the storage compartment layout with the slots for notebooks, pens and extras. When you
Open the bag it is accessible immediately and you don’t have to scrounge around for items. Very handy and helps people like me stay organized.
I like the charger port, it does not include a battery so you have to buy your own. Supposedly the charger port has an output and input, I have not been able to charge it using the charge port.
There are multiple external hidden pockets which I am not utilizing correctly. I place items I may need but not in a regular basis in these external pockets. The left external pocket has a key ring that extenders so you can open your door/mailbox lock and not lose your key!
I also really like that it has an RFID pocket for cards on the right side. I can place my card and remove it quickly to enter buildings.
The padding on the back is unbelievable- super comfortable- if the bag is light in weight I don’t even feel like I have a backpack on. Is this where they spent all the money on materials!?
The not so great:
The interior of the bag – the big empty shell which can be decided into sections with Velcro dividers- not so good. The Foam pads don’t hold their shape, they are thick enough but too soft.
Now for the things that really got me frustrated. The bottle strap and holder on your left arm strap…how embarrassing is it to have a cool backpack and your water bottle “holder” which is super cool keeps dropping your bottle!?!?!? For some reason the plastic piece that slides into the slot which holds the water bottle comes off. It unscrews itself. I will be reaching out to XD Designs as I may have a bad part.
The other thing….the phone case/holder is too small. It’s 2019 and it seems they designed this for an iPhone 4 or something. The IPhone 11 Pro Max will not fit- it will be like Ha! You must be kidding if you think I’m going to fit in that! Offer a bigger phone case option?
The big empty shell side of the bag is ok, you can fit a very big “tech school” book about 1500 pages… But that’s all you can fit in there, I have to figure out a way to fit my coffee mug or a snack in there.
Lastly I’ll discuss pricing.
I don’t mind paying for a good item but with the other options we have today $150+ is a bit high for a smaller bag. It was sad to see all the knock offs sold on amazon for $40-60.
I like purchasing original items and can only vouch for the quality of the original so beware of buying Knox off stuff. Overall I liked it but get frustrated sometimes with the lack of storage. I would like a bag that can fit the items I need daily plus a change of clothes. I may purchase other bags from XD Designs in the future.
