I will admit this is the first projector I have bought and was sceptical about the picture quality and the noise level of the projector in the background. Firstly the picture quality was brilliant, we put blackout curtains up as we was watching a film during the day, so we could get the cinematic experience. I would say it was definitely high definition in quality and brightness all very easily adjusted using the remote control and adjusting the lens.
The sound quality was as expected from a projector, although I easily plugged in some pc speakers and it sounded fine.
The price was very reasonable for the product We did get a special voucher, which got us a further discount, which was nice.
I purchased this projector at the start of September and its still working perfectly for family film nights. Cant wait till next summer to try it out in the garden!
I spent constant hours trying to decide what projector to start off with. I decided on the yaber due to the reviews (I don’t fully trust all the reviews) and also the specs.
When it arrived, it looked well made, picture wasn’t too bad in the day and looks really good at night. Sertings were easy to set up the picture and get a square look. Remote took a fiddle to open to put batteries in but I’m very happy considering there’s projectors hundreds of pounds dearer that won’t look much better !
When entering the projector market I was looking for something that both accommodated films and video games; this model is perfect for both!
The picture quality of this projector is amazing with a 1080p upscale to 4K. Great for every film viewing need you’d ever have. And the 60 HZ refresh rate of this projector makes it one of the best for your money gaming projectors. I’ve been playing lots of world of tanks and mario kart and I haven’t seen any input lag at all.
This projector model has spoiled me and I can’t ever go back to a television because of how high quality this projector is.
Projector is certainly not quiet. But you can’t hear it when playing a video. Also, on the item/product description it didn’t mention that it comes along with a HDMI cable. I paid separately for another cable which I now have to return.
What can I say that hasn’t been said already? The colours are vibrant and bright – so much so that I’ve used it with lights on and curtains open and there wasn’t too much of a drop in quality.
The built in speaker is loud enough that I haven’t attached my external speakers as of yet. I’ve used it for TV, films, and to play my PS4, it has honestly revolutionised my viewing. Picture quality superb and using it outside it doesnt have to be pitch black dark until you can see it cause it’s high lumens. Great purchase. Love it. Had a few film/boxing/football nights outside and also if the rain stays off I’ll have a few more.
Never used a projector for films before but the picture quality if streams uhd from netflix in low light worked well. Watching older film such as karate kid is bad on a 4k TV but much worse on a projector like this.
I am very glad I shelled out the extra compared to a 720p projector for 1080p
The picture is more than bright enough in a dark room – it is viewable in a lit room, however the colours will wash out – expect this from a projector
I have mine hooked up to external speakers, however for the short time I did use the integrated speakers they were ample; don’t expect booming bass, but they are very clear (and be careful turning up the volume with trusurroundxt, or there’ll be some scary popping noises)
HDMI CEC has worked a charm, and it means since I have set it up I haven’t actually had to use the included remote, as it turns on and off when my android TV box does
I’m sure it’s you were paying 600 you could get a better picture quality; however, you are paying less than 200 and getting a very good picture with decent speakers integrated
The projector produces sharp images, gives a good frame rate without any noticeable lag and has good connectivity options using HDMI to laptop, Chromecast ,etc.
Dislikes :
1. Fan noise can be irritating if you are watching at a very low volume. At higher volumes, the fan noise isn’t an issue.
2. Brightness can be an issue during the day if your room doesn’t have blackout curtains. No problems in a dark room with a nice curtain blocking the summer sun.
Been looking to get a projector for sometime now. Been reading online reviews and warnings about how some of the projectors in this price range the picture come out blurry or not bright but this has been amazing. There is a good quality picture from the projector.
The fan sounds a bit loud when you start it but its not noticeable when a movie id playing.
I have used it with a fire stick and an xbox and both work very well.
I am really happy with it and would buy it again.
The projector came very well packaged, the remote control did not have batteries so you will need two triple A batteries, The projected image is very big approximately 200″ and holds the image quality adequately. You have to operate the projector in a dark room in order to enhance the projected image.
The projector is a HD quality, the only drawback is that the projector hasn’t Bluetooth capabilities which would be extremely handy to pair external speakers and create cinema experience. Can’t wait for a 4K Upscaling version to come out, hopefully soon. I will make additional review after spending some time using the projector.
I find this projector very easy to use. The two inbuilt speakers are very good, though it has to be that way because the fan is very loud and would over power any tiny speaker. It also remembers its last state so you don’t have to go back to HDMI each time you turn on the projector. The only thing missing on this projector for me is “BLUETOOTH” 🙁
When you attached a sound cable to use external speakers, you have the option to use both the external speaker and the projector speakers, however the sound don’t between the two speakers for you have to either use the external speaker or the projector speaker.
Previously bought a projector with Full1080p support but actual native resolution was 460p – so it was pretty rubbish viewed on anything above 80″ screen – needless to say it was returned.
This projector however is a different and much better proposition, and has full Native 1080p resolution so the image can be viewed on larger screen we watch on 120″
Maybe obvious it wasn’t to me! And I suppose you pays your money etc..
But the issue of 1080p support V’s 1080p Native – is important the latter being far superior IMHO.
Happy with this projector a little noisy , but crank up the volume! We use it with a Firestick plugged into the HDMI port and its great .
We’ve had some great movie nights.
For the price point a good first projecto
I originally ordered a slightly cheaper “1080p” projector that turned out to have a native resolution of 480p. The picture quality of the original purchase was not good enough for my requirements so I returned it and purchased the Yaber projector. While the unit is larger than the mini projector the picture quality more than makes up for the increase in size. This is being used outside on a 120 inch screen and it does need to be fully dark to get the best experience bu the picture quality is amazing.
The only downside is the cooling fan noise but I’m planning to connect the projector to some external speakers so this will no longer be a distraction.
Overall I’m very satisfied with my purchase
This is one of the best projectors on the market in its price range, the option to down size the picture and not lose any quality has been the biggest asset of this projector. Would recommend to everyone I’ve used it all through lockdown to play PS4 and it’s been quality.
Purchased during a flash sale for 150 and couldn’t be happier! Simple to use, great picture quality, even found myself using the built-in speakers which are great quality and volume. Just be aware, even though the projector has great brightness for this price point, the picture is very dim in full daylight. (This is not on a projector screen, just a white wall which may be the cause)
i always fancied a projector for home movies but didnt like the cost of it all, this was the best reviewed projector at the low price end of the market, i have found it gives an excellent quality picture whilst not being comparable to a full hd tv, its not realistic to expect that it would be, it definately gives that cinema feel which is what i wanted, i have a nice flat wall space which i painted with an aluminium grey color paint for the best resolution, it all works very well and id recommend this as an entry level projector.
This projector is simply amazing. I ended up connecting it to my Apple TV which works very well and as it says in the product description, it does actually work in 4K
I’ve recommended it to a friend, who is looking into buying one now.
Worth the money
Been looking and researching all Summer for a garden cinema experience.So glad I held out. Found the Yaber after a newspaper article. So much cheaper than others for same standard. In fact a total bargain with a 60off voucher attached on Amazon. The picture is fantastic even in dusk light its clear annd sharp. Set up very simply in 5 minutes to a laptop and film runing immediately. Yes there is a fan sound but the internal; speakers which are pretty adequate and good quality overrode this with volume up, and where we would place the projector in the garden would not be right next to us anyway. We are super happy. Also thank you for quick delivery next day and well packaged.
After looking at many projector reviews, this Yaber one came out tops. I took a chance and bought one, it arrived the following day. It came in a nice box well protected, all the necessary connecting leads are included with a basic instruction booklet. It was easy to set up and gives a good picture on a 100″ screen. There are better but they cost a lot more than the 130 I paid for the Yaber. For what it cost it is a remarkable projector, I am very pleased with it so far and will recommend it without hesitation.
I am really impressed with it’s picture quality is great and built-in speakers with sound quality is superb even projector software has an option to allow you to equalize the sound and increase or decrease your prefer sound,
The designed of the projector is good as well however, my only disappointment with this Y21 model is having it’s limitation to connectivity such as no wi fi and bluetooth enabled connections.
Also, cooling fan is way too loud especially in a quite environment. That would be very annoying some point even louder than my desktop pc’s fan.
Other than all that it is a good projector what it suppose to do.
Even though I can’t take advantage of the full screen size available I’m still getting a 75-80″ super crisp image projected onto a light grey painted wall. The setup was very straight forward and within 10mins I had it hooked up to my android box and adjusted the picture for the best image, the sound from the speakers was also surprisingly decent for general use although I have it hooked up to a Google Home Max for watching Movies and TV.
Overall this is definitely worth picking up if your looking for a Full HD projecto
Great wee projector saying I’m very happy with it is an understatement. Just love it. It was a spur of the moment purchase. It’s great that I can plug my fire stick in direct. Just need to purchase a ceiling bracket and then play about with set up but love it so far.
Surprisingly bright despite the poor reviews on here. Perfect for a home cinema as it’s best in a dark room. Fan noise concerned me when I first turned it on but is immediately drowned out by the speakers and becomes background noise. Very easy to set up and adjust to your liking. Great price too!
Purchased as an upgrade from a 4500 lumens projector really can see the difference less blackout needed so can be used in more brighter environments though I would recommend not for this but for most projectors total or near blackout to get the most from the picture great to have 2 hdmi slots one for my freeview box and the other for my chromecast makes it easier to switch between sources spund quality for the price decent don’t feel the need to attached external speakers though you do have the option looking forward to using this more in the future so far so good this is not a small unit but fits perfectly on my stand and looks pretty cool well built looks grea
Wow! What a projector!
Picture quality is almost indistinguishable from a high-end TV. I must admit, I do not know as much about AV technology as some people, but my more knowledgeable friends have told me that this is the best projection they’ve seen at this price point, and I agree.
It’s easy to navigate the settings using the buttons on the projector or using the remote, which feels extremely well made, with very tactile buttons that give a satisfying ‘click’.
The sound quality, which is almost an afterthought, is superb, and has saved me from having to buy an extra long audio cable. It has options to imitate surround sound which gives an impressive layering effect to audio.
Both the audio-visual quality and the physical ‘feel’ of this projector and it’s components get 5 stars.
Definitely a massive improvement on image quality over my last projector , PS4 games look great and just like a computer monitor. Now it is just the first day , I have no idea on the long performance of the Yaber.
So good we bought a second one for our other son. The projector is excellent value for money. The picture is so much clearer than we expected it to be for the price and the sound quality is great. Was very easy to set up and is like have our own little cinema!
Received this projector recently and I have to say I love it
it looks really good and set up is easy now I haven’t got a screen as yet I’m projecting it on to a wall and not a white one but a caramel colour one and it still looks pretty good.
Playing off a amazon fire stick was easy and works flawless same can be said for movies off usb stick

I really like this projector, I see soo much potential in it, initially brought it for an idea I wanted to do in a music which I accomplished and now it has taken over as my TV in my room and will much better once I’ve got the screen. Also I will say the customer service was quality from start to finish so thank you
i was overall very happy with this, quite suprised at the performance and the sound quality. only down side is the noise of the fan, this is worsened with the projector being directly above my headboard.
Great quality and easy to use, Worked straight out of the box with a brilliant picture quality. It’s like being at the cinema. The sound quality is much better than the TV.
If your using iPhone or iPad then you need to buy a genuine apple adapter don’t go for a cheaper version.
We recently bought this projector for our daughters so they can enjoy some movie nights during lockdown. So far we have been really pleased with it. Very simple to set up (we just plug our fire stick into the hdmi port) and the picture and sound quality is really good. The big selling point for us is the built in zoom facility. This means we can adjust then Screen size using the remote without having to move the unit itself. We returned a different model of projector as we couldn’t get the picture to fit our 60″ projector screen, however this wasn’t the case with the Yaber! Happy to recommend this projector.
So far I’ve been very impressed with this projector. Watched a film outside just after sunset and brightness and picture quality was ok. Obviously a dark room helps a lot and kids love having a cinema room & playing their consoles on the big screen. Highly recommend for the price and when compared to other more expensive projectors
Brightness:
This projector is super bright, can even be seen in the day or with the lights on, but obviously for best results have the room as dark as possible.
Picture quality:
The picture quality is pretty spot on, being 1080p with good colour contrast combined with the brightness this projector produces very good picture quality which was perfect for my home cinema.
Sound:
The sound is very decent for built in speakers and more than usable for your experience. However with mine being part of a home made cinema experience I’m going to invest in some surround sound to make the expeirnece better. However in any other situation like a presentation these speakers are more than suitable and very loud.
Easy to set up.
Straight out of the box. Plug in the power cable. Press the power button. Plug in whatever source you are using eg. PC, laptop, playstation and away you go its that simple.
Overall:
This projector for the money is absolutely brilliant. You will not find another like it which has all round great features and build quality. I highly recommend!
Absolutely love this projector. Picture quality is as good as all the other reviews say. Connected my Firestick to it and it’s just like having a smart tv on tie wall at a fraction of the price. Currently have it on my bedroom wall and was originally thinking of getting a screen, but I think I’ll save my money! Very happy with this purchase.
It’s a good quality projector for the price, don’t expect breathtaking picture quality though, it pales in comparison to any decent 4k TV. But in terms of watching movies or playing games it does the job, you don’t need the room completely dark but the viewing experience does get a lot better if it is, but day time viewing is still possible even with some light bleed through your curtains. I’d say a projector screen is definitely necessary.
My second projector (first projector was a crappy portable one).
I decided to upgrade to this beast as I need it for the sports I watch and I have to say, this projector does the job perfectly for me.
It doesn’t go 4k as stated, but for the price and the quality, it’s definitely work the purchase.
The sound quality is actually amazing – sounds as if it was a TV.
I am happy with this purchase and hope it lasts me a good amount of years!
Our old projector’s bulb popped, and replacing it was going to cost mare than this projector costs new. So we we went for this one: and it’s ace. Bright and clear (even in an open sided wood shelter), it’s twice as bright but uses half the electricity, which make a huge difference when you’re running off a battery and a solar panel. Plus this is full-on HD… Very happy with the purchase 🙂
However having said that, what it is is a very good HD projector. The picture at the edges is Very fuzzy but i brought in the screen by 2 inches (down to a 118″ TV!) and i have full definition across whole screen. it runs super-cool no over heating issues even after 5 hours straight. this has coped with gaming, tv and streaming. bearing in mind this is 189.99 then you get 40 back (yes i know it says 50 on the ad but got ripped off by amazon by a tenner) that’s a 150 HD projector with a screen size that’s awesome, i would highly recommend this buy.
Very impressed so far. Still awaiting my screen to arrive from ebay, so just projected it straight on to a cream wall to try it. Picture is crisp and bright at about a 96″ screen, on both standard def dvd and blu ray. Easy to set up, lots of inputs and not too noisy. Don’t think you’ll get better at this price point. Perfect for lockdown movie nights!
This is an excellent product at an excellent price. I’ve had a Hitachi projector for well over 16 years for use in a home cinema. Thought it was time to upgrade. Really simple to setup, I’ve gone for a ceiling mount, note the mounting holes are under the rubber feet. From opening the box to playing games on the projector was about 50 mins, that included me cutting new holes in the mounting plate I’d been using for the old projector. I ordered a proper ceiling mount last night.
Is usable in day time with the lights on or in the dark (see pictures for difference, the more purple looking wall is with the lights off just a terrarium lamp behind the camera and please excuse the mess) works totally fine projected against a wall and i think would be even brighter against a screen.
I project from approx 4 metres away in 50% size mode and have an 83″ screen.
It becomes background noise after a while but the fan does produce a lot of heat and sound.
Anyway, I did my homework as I always do. I spent 4 weeks cross referencing reviews and reviewers just to make sure I was avoiding the fake ones we all know and hate. I had previously owned a 720p which served me well but a “the man who has every bloody thing” as I’m known at home, I had Amazon tokens burning a hole and I decided I’d upgrade to 1080p. So, the projector arrived very quickly and I got to work.
Out of the box, the projector was up and running within 5 minutes. Startup was a matter of seconds and the default picture was really good but it’s always worth playing with the settings just in case.
After a few minor tweaks in the settings, I have to say the picture is surprisingly good. I don’t know what I was expecting but it wasn’t a picture this good. I ran some blurays through it. I ran some home 1080p movies of the kids from a USB stick and I ran some high def. Youtube clips and was genuinely chuffed. No choppy frames when the camera was panning, the colours were spot on and the sound was very clear when running through a soundbar. If you’re shopping in this price bracket for a projector then you’re being realistic and I would highly recommend this projector. I feel I’ve got real value for money. Happy days!
I cannot say how pleased I am with this order. The projector is everything it claims to be.
The product is great, Very bright, very clear image and I highly doubt you can find something better anywhere near this price.
My only recommendation is to take care of the screen that you will use and how you install it, a crease or an over stretched screen will affect the image quality.
If you are looking for a great machine and dont want to spend a fortune, this is a no brainer.
My first projector and I love it, it took me a while to sort the screen out that I bought locally, ideal for evening film night, sure the fans are there but I was happy enough to sit it on a little side table and use the speakers built in, I have a surround system and need to figure how I can play Dolby Digital as the Projector does not support Dolby but I’m sure there will be away around it, over all very good for the money.
This product is better than most for the price, very good contrast and sound, due to the wide lense in the projector, the very high 6200 lumens is let down as the lense does not focus the brightness as much
I.e a more focused lense will make a 3000 lumens projector seem brighter
Over all, it is a great projector and for first time buyers it is a very good one to buy if you’re looking to dip your toes into projector’s
Only owned for a week ago as we no longer required it, but after using a couple of times I must say I am impressed. Clear and bright picture quality, really nice surprise for such an affordable unit. Can’t comment on long life performance but out of the box I was happy with the purchase. Will buy again if we need another one.
Well we decided to treat ourselves during lockdown to a new projector. Decided to go for this one as it’s an led projector. Im Amazed at how clear the picture is even with the curtains open in daylight! For the price I’m really impressed. Delivery was extremely quick and instructions very clear. Only complaint is that the remote didnt come with any AAA batteries.

I have the projector situated behind my bed projecting an image onto a suspended screen on my ceiling, (for watching films in bed :),
The picture is about 50 inches wide at that distance, which is just right for me, & obviously with more distance the image is bigger, (up to 200″ at 5 Metres).
I liked the units clean design (which has manual controls on the unit itself), and the remote control works well.
I`m happy with purchase at this point, – so recommended.

Why buy a 4K 50″ tv for couple of grand when you can buy a 4K project and have the screen as big as you want
This is the best option for a big screen on a budget. The image is amazing once it’s set up right it’s good for gaming no delay also the sound quality is brillia
If it is projected on to a proper screen it almost indistinguishable from a tv.

This is an amazing little projector for the money, good sound and bright picture. I had it up and running within 5 mins and attached to my laptop. You need an HDMI to Device lead. I’m looking forward to using it for presentations to raise funds for a new Christian charity and it’s good to know I can take it with me and everything will work properly. It arrived really quickly, in 2 days, and in good condition.
As someone who gives talks to community groups this is a perfect piece of equipment that has turned my presentations from good to professional looking.
The item was well packaged and delivered as promised and I would certainly recommend the projector and the company to family and friends.
I was considering buying a new tv when I found this projector which is definitely the Best purchase I have ever made! Took my TV experience to the next level. Picture is very clear and the sound is amazing, there is no need for external speakers. When connecting a lightening/HDMI cable to my phone I could not stream Netflix because it was not supported. YouTube and other streaming websites worked well. For this reason I recommend buying an amazon fire stick to have an even better experience , just make sure you turn off the Dolby sound option as it is not supported.
My power cable did not work properly so I emailed the seller and I got a new one the next day! Seller very responsive and willing to answer any questions you have about the projector.

After a good hour of setting up, because you have to get the projector as central to your screen as possible.
I did get a good crisp image of great quality.
As good as my optoma 141x.
Which cost four times as much at the time.
Regarding the fan noise? It’s a tad loud but not enough to enjoy viewing.
Plus I wear headphones at night so my volume is not bothering the rest of the house hold.
So for the price I can not knock this projector.
UPDATE: After a couple of weeks I started to get trouble with the image going out of focus to the right hand side which I couldn’t work out or understand. So returned back to Amazon.
I tried cheaper options and in comparison this projector was the best in its price category. The main selling point for me was the ability to adjust the size of the picture with ease as I didn’t have a wall to project on.
After settling with it for a while, I would say that the fan is quite loud although admittedly it is sat on a bed side table, If I had it set up in a larger room and away from where I was sitting, possibly with the fan facing out and the speakers above me I’m sure this would be negligible.
So essentially, if you have the space to ceiling mount it, the star taken off for fan noise wouldn’t matter.
Although I’m happy with the projector at the price point that its in I would consider spending more in the future to get a quieter one as although the sound is pretty good there are times when I want to listen to it quieter as its later at night and the fan noise makes that difficult.
WHILST I USED THIS FOR A FEW HOURS EVERY ODD DAY OVER TIME A SHADOW APPEARED. HAD IT REPLACED WITH NEW ONE BUT HEY NOTHING. JUST A BIG BRIGHT LIGHT ON THE WALL. AND TO TOP IT OFF I FIND OUT THAT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSONNEL HAD TO SUFFER FROM HIS/HER OWN SALARY TO HAVE A REPLACEMENT SENT OUT.
WHAT? YES YOU READ CORRECTLY FOLKS.
SO REMEMBER THE NEXT TIME YOU BUY ANYTHING AND YOU HAVE AN ISSUE, ASK THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSONNEL ARE YOUR BOSS’S THAT SAD?
THIS PERSON NEEDS A ROUND OF APPLAUSE AND A PAT ON THE BACK AND SHOULD BE APPRECIATED FOR HOW COMMITTED HE/SHE IS AT BRINGING CUSTOMER SATISFACTION ON BEHALF OF THE COMPANY.

I was really surprised to see the quality of picture and audio sound from the projector. It was amazing product at this price. Picture quality is really good in dark room and ok, in day light. If you have your windows blinds down, then it will be good. Sound quality was good and loud to watch any movies. I would suggest to get external speakers for detail and home theater effect to enhance the movie experience. Remote control was ok and I connect Amazon fire stick, so control it thorough fire stick remote. I will recommend this products to friends and family.
The quality of the image is really good, the brightness allowed usage without blinds (but it was quite dark end of day outside). The product came with all the cables for all types of connection, even audio output, which was a really nice touch.
On the lesser note, the fan is quite loud but nothing that is concerning once the sound of the movie is on. Also, reaching sharp image without blurring edges of the screen is challenging. But really happy so far with the product, considering its price !

Overall good if you watch with volume loud if not avoid.
I contacted Yaber support who requested that I remove the bottom panel and use a vacuum to clean it out as dust could have entered through whilst in transport.
I returned the item back to amazon as I felt that I didn’t want to disassemble a new item that I purchased that should be free of dirt or dust.
My seller refunded me immediately and I purchased another as I had faith in the brand.
On receiving and checking the new projector I found that it far exceeded my expectations, the picture and sound quality was great for the price of this projector, I found it easy to operate and had no issues or anomalies.
I also received a free gift from a choice of 3 items, which I felt was a great touch. Thank you Yabe
As an avid movie watcher i’ve always wanted to bring the cinema atmosphere home with me after experiencing movie. This is my first time buying and using a projector at home and I can confirm I got a similar effect and ambiance from this projector. The image is very good, the set-up of the machine very straight forward the built-in speaker system is decent alot better than the speaker system in my Toshiba smart-tv. For the price I paid it is money well spent.
I read all the reviews and thought I would give it a go as it was the cheapest best reviewed projector on amazon. I am SO GLAD I DID!
Picture and sound are amazing!! I have watched netflix on it, YouTube and played my ps4 pro, all look incredible, even with a tv on next to it (please see picture). It is best in a fully blacked out room though!
I have the projector raised in the centre my Luxburg 100″ screen on a table and it fits it perfectly at about 10ft away from the screen! I has to play about with the zoom settings for a couple of mins but that is really easy to do!
I have also taken some pictures of my video and audio settings for the projector for optimal picture and sound. I have the projector pretty much right next to my head and I did not notice the fan at all (medium sound settings on fan settings).
I will be recommending this projector to my friends and family as for the price you cant beat it!! And videos and pictures dont do this projector any justice, it’s very hard to capture the quality of this projector on your phone but honestly it is great quality on both consoles and normal tv or movie viewing!
At this price bracket it is an absolutely fantastic projector. Very high resolution and I must say the sound is fantastic so no need for additional speakers. Slightly noisier when switched on compared to other projector due to the fan but the manufacturers quickly answered my query and reported that this is because it is such a bright projector that additional fan speed is needed to keep it cool. I’m happy with that because when you’re playing sound it becomes hardly noticeable. Good response from the manufacturer! Overall very worth it.
Just received this projector to replace an older 1280×800 pc monitor, Firstly this projector provides higher clarity due to native 1080p, it Is brighter (although I use mine in a dark room anyway) the size of the machine is smaller and quieter (although not silent).
The speakers are a lot better than my previous projector and I was going to use a Bluetooth speaker but I haven’t needed to use it.
Currently I use a firestick for Netflix and Amazon Prime, you do have to disable Dolby digital plus in the firestick options but then the audio is fine. Also use the PS4 and the picture is excellent and the HDMI – CEC function works well with the firestick too.
The pics appear to have a smaller square but this is my old screen at 115″ this new projector is actually bigger at the 130″ from the same distance

Great budget 1080p projector. Value for money, great picture, keystone adjustment really useful. Only reason not for 5 stars is the fan noise, a DB reading comes up at about 48db which is noticable but you get used to it. With noise cancelling headphones rigged up, the fan noise is gone. For the price, its great, maybe upgrade to a 4k projector in 12 months, but this is great to start with ! Also, great customer service from Yaber, quick response and very helpful.
The first one of these arrived broken, so I’m not sure how good the quality is in general and this could be a concern.
The second one works, and for 150 it’s a surprisingly decent entry level projector. The image is pretty sharp and clear for this price point and it’s wonderful to watch movies on. That said, the focus varies across the image meaning that the projector has to be angled straight at the screen, level with the middle of the screen. Don’t plan on angling this one down from the ceiling or up from a table. While you can correct the keystone, it’s impossible to get consistent focus unless it’s at 90 degree angles to the screen.
Regarding sound, initially I was unable to get sound output when using FireTV HD stick, to get this working you need to disable Dolby sound and switch to stereo on the FTV stick itself. Then, I tried to use the 3.5mm output to a speaker, but the output level is too small (possibly intended for an amp) and not usable. That said, the built in speaker are surprisingly okay. This probably won’t be an issue for you if you’re using a Home Cinema system instead of a fire stick as you can route the sound direct.
Fan noise is loud too. But still, given this is about 4x cheaper than most other entry level projectors, these are expected compromises.
It’s impossible for me to come up with a 200 projector or tv that could come close to rivel this. Most projectors that say they are 1920x1080p are actually native 1280x720p most often.
The viewing experience is much smoother and much more soothing to your eyes compared to the viewing of a regular tv.
The only things worthy mentioning here that could be a dealbreaker is that you really need the >3meters to do the projector justice (Large inch screen) and the fan’s white noise can be bothersome for some sensible people when watching without sound.
My only complaint, and the reason I’ve only given 4 stars is that the cable mine came with was faulty so the power was dropping out and if the projector was moved at all it would turn off. However I replaced the power cable with one I had at home already and since then I’ve had no issues. Honestly would recommend over even a tv.
I bought this for my sons bedroom. This was set up against a white wall to start with and was great, but once we fitted a proper projector screen I was blown away. The quality of the picture is excellent and I can’t believe how pound the inbuilt speakers are. We have tried this with a Firestick for movies and also played online gaming on the PS4.
I will be buying another one of these for my main room.
This really stylish looking projector is a dream-come-true purchase to me. As someone, who was considering buying a projector around this price range for ages, it is a great find and superb value for the price. The projector is super easy to set up and use and just right for a home cinema set up. Important thing is that the fan is very quiet and not distracting at all making the watching experience pure joy. The only minus is projecting darker images as the range of blacks is not that deep.
Testing the projector inside, demonstrated just how good the colours and focusing of the image are – very pleased.
Placed outside mounted vertically, the image was rear projected onto a AtmosFX screen, and was superb, meeting all of my requirements. I even received comments from Trick or Treaters on how sharp the image was.
The projector was run continuously for 4 hours, displaying a black background in between videos, which it handled flawlessly.
I had run out of time to connect external speakers, but even so with the sound turned up, it easily broke through the crowd noise.
A great projector at a great price – did the job brilliantly.
YABER Projector 5500
I bought this on a whim and I had low hopes at the price I got it for . That soon changed when I set it up and played my first film . The picture quality is really good bright and really clear like 1080p . The sound from the unit is also great and fills the room . I will be mounting it on my ceiling soon so I can get it fully set up ready for some film nights with my wife. Well done Yaber on producing a very nice product that exceeded all my expectations .
I had brought the projector for it’s low price, and I wasn’t let down by the quality of it.
The image is 1080p, it works great even at day and the controls were easy to navigate and change settings.
The projector also comes with anolog cables, 1 hdmi cable.
In conclusion, it a projector that has great image quality, has alot of features and is easy to use.
It is a little blurry close up, but the viewing experience is fine from about 4 meters away.
The fan is always on unfortunately, so it does get loud.
I have returned the item, I am sure under the right circumstances it is a great budget projector, just not for me.
I bought the projector for my Man Cave ready for watching sport. The picture quality is excellent and the sound is ok for a projector with built in speakers. I’ve got mine hooked up to a 4K Firestick and it works really well. The price was brilliant and the spec of the projector easily match some of the more expensive ones available. This project can project large images at a good image standard.
I previously purchased 2 “HD projectors” by elephas and both of them were faulty and had to be returned. I decided to try this model from Yaber instead and it has performed outstandingly well. The picture quality is excellent, the audio is more than satisfactory and it works a treat with my ps4 and roku streaming stick.
This sort of technology used to cost thousands. At the current price it is an absolute bargain. If you are thinking about getting a large TV, I would highly recommend buying this projector instead. I am really pleased with this purchase and can’t fault it.

The projector is great but the HDMI that came with is was faulty!
I almost returned it thinking the projector was faulty but once working it is great. The speakers are also pretty good, just enable TRUSURROUND and turn audio to music or movie mode.
Sound-wise, the speakers are very good. I actually tested them with a Slipknot live in concert Blu-Ray and was surprised at how it handled the bassy music even at a loud volume. It’s never going to be as good as a dedicated external speaker or sound bar but if you were to ask me if the speakers work well then I’d say most definitely.
This is a great projector for the money and makes for an excellent value home cinema entertainment system. I have mine connected to a PS4 Pro for games and movies (Blu Ray and Netflix) and it’s ideal. My only gripe is that the remote doesn’t light up, making if difficult to see the buttons in the dark but hey, we can’t have everything.
PS: I noticed that the price tends to fluctuate on these almost daily, so pop it in your Wishlist for a few days and you’ll save 10-20 if you keep an eye on the pricing each morning. I ended up picking it up for 159.99, but the cost has gone up twice since I bought it 08/10/2019. I expect it will come back down again if you save it as a fave.
Great projector for a small budget. Good quality picture, and i’ve been surprised by the speaker, i don’t even need a sound bar or any other additional speakers to watch movies or playing ps4. Input lag is almost absent for games. The only thing i have problems with is the remote, which is not quality made and often the projector is not responding to it, you just need to aim to the right point from a close distance.
Really happy with the product and delivery overall !!
Pros: Good overall impression, quality picture is great in this price range. Impressive sound, in my opinion no external soundbars are needed for movies, even bass sounds well. Fast booting. Nice design, high-end feel materials. Variety of cables (HDMI, VGA, Audio output etc.) included. Nice packaging. Various menu options on picture and sound quality.
Some minor cons I have experienced (nothing deal breaker):
– Some audio formats and subtitles not supported when playing from external USB source, this is not an issue when source is laptop/smartphone of course.
– A bit noisy ventilation but can get used to it easily (common issue at projectors).
I did not regret purchasing this projector, one of the best in this price range on the market for sure.
My wife says it looks good where it is sited on the bookcase.
