Thought I would treat myself to a home cinema set-up. Glad I did as this projector is awesome. It may be a budget model but it’s surprising how good the quality of the picture/sound is for the price. You get used to the fan noise after a while. It’s not that loud. Just turn the sound up while watching a movie and you can barely hear it. Like me, you may need a speaker/soundbar to complement your purchase.
Perfect for gaming and movies at home! I’m playing Mario kart on Nintendo Switch with no lag! Connected it to the computer played battlefield no lag! Quality for the price is insane! I paid 129 couldn’t be happier! Obviously there are better ones out there but if you just want to projector to play Mario kart and watch the odd movie this is exactly what you’re looking for! It’s also worth mentioning that I didn’t buy a projector screen I bought a super king-size white bed sheet doubled it and put it on the wall all no issues!
This is due to the fact that some videos and major video formats on Netflix cannot be exported outside of copyright protection (HDCP protocol).
All current LCD projectors have this problem, and so do our projectors
So you need a fire stick Otherwise the projector display was great and easy to set up.
Got it with a Black Friday deal and for that price point there’s no rival. The image is more than decent with a few tweaks. Try to run it as flat as possible on the wall, if you use keystone correction too much, it will start to loose focus around the corners. The fan noise is not that bad, you get used to it. Could do with more decent speakers, but again, for the price range you can’t complain.
The picture from this projector is great and the fact you can adjust the x and y independently is brilliant.
I don’t think I can go back to a regular television anymore, having the screen be the entire living room wall is a complete feeling of awe. I love this projector, its extremely easy to set up and the quality of the display is like nothing I have seen before. It has a great picture and amazing sound. This projector is a great buy for anyone looking to add some cinema to their living room.

I have this set up with a fire stick HD into a Yamaha home cinema AV receiver and 5.1 speakers projecting onto a HD screen.
It’s a replacement for a previous non HD projector.
Picture is a big improvement and plugging into a fire stick is brilliant.
When action scenes give way to dialogue you notice the fan noise but I am sat directly beneath it.
If room layout allows plan to have it placed further behind you.
Overall picture quality and general package for the price is very good
The quality of this projector is incredible and the sound is great.
I did put it up to volume 100 to see what it was like and it was clear except for a little crackle that it made every now and again with the bass of the movie.
I would say it’s absolutely worth it for the price and I haven’t had any issues yet 🙂
I would definitely recommend spending a little more for this projector than the cheaper ones as it does it’s job perfectly. The machine can be a little loud when it’s on but it’s the noise is easily blocked out when your watching something intriguing.
I’ve connected my Amazon fire stick to it aswell as a speaker.
I bought a projector two years ago that advertised as “Home cinema and professional” use but it was not able to project any text documents in focus. This unit for under 200 has surprisingly ticked all the boxes. Great machine am very impressed, it’s as go a quality as some used in my college a year ago.
Anyway, at night, or when our black out curtains are closed, this projector is really good for the money. There may be an adjustment period if you’re going from a 40″ 4K TV, and this obviously won’t provide the sharpness or the clarify you’re use to, but it is a very good product.
We haven’t had the chance to get a screen yet, so we’re just using the landlord standard magnolia painted wall, and it works perfectly.
There are many options in the menu to allow you to get the projector set up, especially with regards to the picture and the angle of the projector. As ours isn’t pointing directly at the wall and is slightly off to an angle, this was important. No issues with that set up.
We are really pleased with it.
We’ve given it 4 stars, but that’s purely the fault of most projectors in this price range. Brightness and picture quality are going to be an issue unless you’ve got too much money and buy one that’s insanely priced.
I was worried after purchasing, as Yaber have terrible reviews on places like Reddit. However, I am blown away by what I have here.
Video quality is excellent and outputs at at least 720p – I think 1080p might be downscaled to 720, but I’m not knowledgable enough about video to say for sure.
Brightness is OK – no chance of using it in broad daylight but shut a blind/curtain and things are fine. Once the sun starts setting it’s perfect.
Audio is ok – I will be looking to add a sound bar in the near future but for now it’s perfectly fine. The fan is quite loud but you soon forget about it once watching something.
This thing really comes to life when connected to a games console – I only have a PS4 but the output from that is amazing. I played through resident evil again just to test it out on the projector and the graphics look phenomenal.
I wouldn’t recommend this as a replacement for a TV, but for light use in a cheap home cinema this is absolutely perfect. If you are an expert in video you won’t like this, but if you are an expert in video you would be looking at Epson/benq/optoma anyway.
For the price, it’s definitley worth a gamble.

I’ve bought some silent disco headphones and receiver, so I can use this in the garden as a secret cinema set up with friends and family. For this it will do nicely.
Yes the room needs to be dark. But not pitch black to get an image. As with all projectors. The darker the room. The better.
Had this up to around 130 inch projection. Image is brilliant. See picture.
Bought this and a 80″ screen to go with it. Really impressed with this, considering it wasn’t very expensive it’s great for movie nights in and watching live sports. Pretty sure the lumen count is not correct but for the price I cannot moan at all.
Bought it or my son who uses it for Xbox gaming and TV. He loves the screen size, and the picture quality. No noticeable lag when gaming. Very happy with the projector, and the price!
This is a 7800 lumen and compared to the cheaper 6000 one, you can really see the difference on the screen. It is a true 1080 too. The definition is so much better. The picture is crisp and sharp. Whilst a little larger than some of the others, the build quality shows.
The only think that lets it down (and I am being picky here) is the remote control. Whilst the projector has a quality feel to it the remote doesn’t. It works just fine, but for a 200 all black projector I wasn’t expecting a white and gold cheap remote.
Seriously though, 4.5/5.
This is the first projector I’ve purchased and I can say that I was not disappointed. the image quality was very bright and clear with lots of different ways to tweak the image using the keystone and digitally “skew” the image to correct the image. Will see how long the bulb lasts but will using this occasionnally for gatherings rather than day to day so hopefully it’ll last a long time.
Does everything you want a projector to do, and does it well. The fan is loud but isn’t noticeable if you have nice speakers. The audio from the projector is actually not bad, wouldn’t recommend if you want the full experience. The customer service is great, they’re quick to respond and very useful!
I found this projector quite easy to set up, its controls are very straight-forward, it offers two full sized female HDMI ports, along with USB inputs, (for drives or thumbsticks), a VGA port, (laptops and desktop PC`s), and AV composite Video input. The interface is simple and easy to understand.

I have the projector situated behind my bed projecting an image onto a suspended screen on my ceiling, (for watching films in bed :),
The picture is about 50 inches wide at that distance, which is just right for me, & obviously with more distance the image is bigger, (up to 200″ at 5 Metres).
I liked the units clean design (which has manual controls on the unit itself), and the remote control works well.
I`m happy with purchase at this point, – so recommended.
I wanted a projector for my man cave but was a big reluctant to spend loads of money on something that wouldn’t be used all that much, I did a google search and this one came up as best value at 199, to add to this Amazon had a 60 voucher to apply which made it just under 140, my theory was buy this one as a starter then upgrade later and sell this one on for not too much loss.
Having received it I was amazed at the quality of the build which was much better than I expected and when I set it up and tried it I was blown away by the picture.
I’m sure I could spend 1,000 extra and get something that would impress me even more but for what I want it ticks all my boxes for far less money than what I was expecting to pay and won’t be looking to change it for a more expensive product any time soon.
Was sceptical about this projector but it has proved to a good purchase. I use it on a 120″ screen and it gives a very impressive cinema experience. I have it suspended from the ceiling and my only gripe is the unit has to be perfectly horizontal to the screen in order to get the overall focus correct. If you have to tilt the projector down the focus will be out at the top of the screen. The sound is surprisingly good especially with the projector positioned behind you.
Really surprised by this projector, picture quality is amazing – it’s like having a 300 inch TV! Also quite bright and clear during daytime. Very easy and versatile set up.

This is a huge upgrade from my first projector and still very affordable.
The quality is great, keystones are easy to adjust and above all – it’s very quiet and barely noticeable when you have sound playing.
This was purchased as a christmas present for my daughter’s cinema room. The quality is much better than we anticipated, we have had countless hours of entertainment, watching movies, playing the switch and music concerrts. My husand also enjoys watching the sport. The price is excellent for the quality of the product.
Now set up with good quality screen and window blackouts. Needs to be set up no further than 8-10 feet from the screen for best image.

The style and presentation of this projector in black stands out. It’s compact but with all the features you need. The picture quality is excellent much better than our previous purchase. As for the sound it’s brilliant! Due to the speakers facing forward rather than the side. This also reduces the fan noise. For the money I don’t think you will find better than this!
To Be honest I wasn’t expecting a great deal from this projector I just wanted something economically priced and able to give me a reasonable picture for my fire pit area. However I am really impressed with the picture quality and ease of use the addition of a fire stick makes this a very functional projector for under 200 for the both I am really pleased with my purchase
I’m seriously impressed with this projector.
Having used many different ones as my main bedroom TV for years this one is by far the best. Before this I used an NEC full HD projector and the YABER is brighter, sharper and quieter. In a completely dark room it’s brighter than my 4K Samsung TV and with lights it LED’s on it’s easily good enough for general TV watching. For the money this is a bargain. Would recommend.
Bought to replace an older projector that wasnt HD and was struggling to display some things crisply enough.
Only tested this briefly, but the text and graphics displayed are crisp and clearly visible, video clips are sharp and bright. The speakers do a decent job and the fan noise isnt too bad so it doesnt interfere with the audio.
All in all a great projector for the money.

I was a little dubious about the low price at first, but having bought it I am more than happy with the picture quality. I now have a full HD cinema screen to enjoy all my viewing habits upon.
It has a two built-in speakers; these are not amazing, but they do produce a fuller sound than most budget projectors will offer. There are two surround sound options to choose from which are both great. I personally am not using these speakers as I have a sound bar, but they are certainly much better than I was expecting.
Brightness wise, it is perfect for a darkened room and really does give you the cinema feel. It is also perfectly watchable with a lamp switched on in the evening. However don’t expect to replace you TV with this unit as it isn’t bright enough to watch during a sunny day; without shutting out the world. But for this price I really didn’t expect to be using it during the day anyway.
The remote control works as well as you’d expect and gives you access to all the projectors features in the palm of your hand. With two IR receivers, both front and back, I’ve not had any issues getting the projector to respond to the remote.
It requires two AAA batteries (not included) and I found it very difficult to remove the back to insert them; but once I’d setup the projector correctly, and to my liking, I shouldn’t need to use the remote again.
I strongly recommend the you enable the HDMI CEC feature, as this will allow the projector to receive a signal to switch itself on and off when turning on or off your input device (if you input device supports HDMI CEC).
Definitely recommend this, a large projector that has an excellent quality image and nice customizability with the x and y-axis and the trapezium correction.
Can get a little noisy but when watching films and playing games with the in-built speaker (which is pretty good) you barely notice it.
Works well with my Roku Stick to watch Netflix, YouTube etc.

Better than expected because the resolution and optics are fab. Obviously not great in bright rooms but super in the dark. Fan noise is noticeable but not a problem if you have sound bar or surround sound system. The internal speakers are ‘ok’ but not what I would like to watch a film with. I’m amazed at the value.
Bought this projector 2 years ago, an still this is staple of my living room the amount of great comments I get on it when people come into the house is still happening to this day. Unfortunately moving houses I managed to lose the remote control, a quick message to the Yaber team an I have another getting shipped out straight away!

After wanting to purchase a new 70″ TV, I just couldn’t warrant spending the amount. With some research and knowing that there were other options out there for a bigger screen size, I came across this Projector.
For the value, at first, I was a little skeptical, however, this blew my mind. The projector is just fantastic, currently sitting at 115 inch in my Lounge. I will never look at buying another TV again!
I’ve connected my Sky Box directly to it and bought also a sound bar to enhance the sound via bluetooth. I can honestly say that this was worth every penny and more!

Brilliant projector!! Wanted a projector to watch movies on as I was missing the cinema so much in lockdown. This was perfect!! Fills most of the wall in our living room, films look amazing very clear picture, sound is surprisingly good but you can soon connect a sound bar, set up was very easy, easily connected a blu-ray player and a fire stick within minutes. May never go back to the cinema now I’ve got one in my living room

Bought this projector based on reviews. I was a little sceptical about how good it would be considering how cheap it was. As it turns out, I had nothing to worry about. The picture quality is excellent, the colours are vibrant and the image is sharp. I have it projected on to a 7 foot screen. The picture is so bright that viewing during the day is not a bother ad long as the sun isn’t shining directly on to the screen. I don’t use my television anymore as I have the tv box connected to the projector. The remote control which comes with it is nicely designed with plenty of settings and options on it to achieve the perfect picture profile for your particular needs. These include digital magnification, color temperature picture presets and user custom settings. All this along with an excellent built in speaker system means there’s no reason not to buy this brilliant projector at such a low price.
Incredible brightness, really easy to set up, the only difficulty I had was opening the remote control to put the batteries in – I didn’t want to break it but turns out you do need just a lot of force to snap it open! So far I am very impressed with the picture and sound quality.
There are very few options for native 1080p projector that are under 200. More known branded projectors will cost you twice as much and will only be 720p unless you spend 600+ I only needed a decent enough HD ready projector for my bedroom and this has far exceeded my expectations. The picture quality is so sharp and the projection is very bright that the room doesn’t need to be completely black for you to use it. For cinema setups on a budget I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this projector.
Picked this up when reduced to 150 what a machine! Yeah the fan is a little loud but for Xbox and Firestick this rocks!

What REALLY surprised me is the quality of the sound. We had expected we’d need to hook up to a stereo or sound bar but don’t think we’ll need to after all. With the remote control you can change the volume from incredibly loud (probably will be good for events in a larger room/small hall) to sensible. It’s not just the volume that surprised me but also the quality of the sound. Such a nice surprise.
It is a little noisy (definitely not silent) if you’re doing a slideshow of photos onto a screen but with talking in the room it’s not very noticeable.

This is very good quality for the price. The built in speaker is much better than expected. I watched a youtube video review prior to buying and the guy showed how to best set it using the x + y zoom feature once you have a device connected. Can be slightly noisy fan but when the sound is up it’s barely recognisable. I have already sent the link on to family and friends who are also looking to buy one.
Excellent video and audio quality.Very good value for money, great image quality, more than decent sound (for normal use it is not necessary to connect external speakers). It makes some noise in my case, but because I am using it in a very small room. I like the infrared on both sides of the projector, so no matter where you are, you can control it.I really can’t think of anything to complain about. For the price bracket it really is good!. Sure it’s not completely silent but once the movie is playing it doesn’t bother me at all. I can definitely recommend it for a budget projector. The video (attached) sound is from the internal speak, but I also use a wireless speaker. Integration is smooth and easy!

Miss going to the cinema, so bringing the cinema to us. Worth every penny.

Works great in the day time. Sound from the projector is good and works well without hooking it to a sound system. Great features on it. Bit noisy but you don’t notice it after a while. Great for what I want it for which is a second screen for work.

What is surprising is the audio which I think, again bearing in mind the price point, is excellent.
I purchased this to run a free view box and a PlayStation whilst on deployment with the military and it does both tasks very well. The picture quality whilst using the PlayStation is very good and crucially I haven’t seen any lag whilst playing games. Can’t speak for online as I don’t have that luxury.
The only criticism I have is the fan noise which is pretty loud, you tend to switch off to it after a while but there is no denying that it can be distracting. The projector doesn’t have Bluetooth so connecting headphones is out of the question. The advertising is also misleading with the seller advertising this as supporting 4K, it doesn’t. Not a game changer for me but something to be aware of.
Overall, bar the fan noise, this is a very good projector and considering the price it’s really hard not to be very impressed by it.
This exceeded my expectations for the price point. You usually find this level of quality in more expensive projectors. The image itself is pretty bright and the colours are super crisp. Definitely a good product for those who are looking for an everyday projector without spending thousands of pounds
Very impressed. I’ve been looking at lots of different projectors at different price points. I needed one with low input lag, good lumens, reasonably short throw and this does all that. I was skeptical due to the price 149 including the discount, but am incredibly impressed. Easy set up, great picture, what more could you ask for. Mine is about 3-4m away from the wall and gets a full 100in screen. would have been happy to 200 even without the discount,but for 149, it can’t be beat!
This projector will not provide 5.1 surround sound. For that you will need a HDMI audio/video splitter. There are a few popular ones on Amazon. I personally went for this one and it works a treat! I plug my firestick and Xbox HDMI into it and its output into the projector. Then I take a optical out from the new device into the 5.1 amp. Sorted!

I bought in November 2020 at around 135. It is now over 60 more expensive. Still worth it? Almost certainly yes. I just got lucky.
Simple optics, so you have to physically move the projector to get the best setup.
This is perhaps where the cost is reduced, and in the scheme of things you only value the simple setup once if it is in a fixed location. Moving location? Different matter – this will take more time to setup perhaps.
Noisy fan, but if you get it right, the projector can be further away from you than usual, so that noise problem is reduced. Place the speakers between you and the projector to avoid the fan noise. Consider a basic sound screen to reduce the fan noise (cardboard & foam?) . Or pay a whole lot more for a quieter make and model.
Bought this projector as a replacement event to another. Couldn’t be more happy! The brightness, focus, clarity and power is awesome! Great value for a super projector. The picture quality is cinematic and makes viewing a joy. The picture using TV or games console is fabulous. The remote control is fast a responsive although putting the batteries in the back is a little tricky. BUT that is the only thing less than fantastic with this projector. It is a brilliant investment!!
I have wanted to get a projector for some time but was looking for something at the lower end of the price range and after reading a lot of reviews bought one of these and I’m really glad I did.
It was delivered quickly, was super easy to set up (I was a bit worried that setting it up would get a bit technical but not at all, very straight forward) and the picture quality is great! You don’t hear the fan once the sound gets going although I do plan to buy a soundbar to go with this.
Unfortunately I’ve never had a projector before so it’s hard to say if it’s louder or quieter than others.
The best Projector around for the money!
Super bright and has a great quality picture, we use this on our bedroom wall instead of tv, the best bit is that you can move the image to suit wherever your placing the screen!

This is not top of the range but then it is extremely good value and more than fit for purpose. I bought it to replace an old (but v expensive) projector. This is a fraction of the price of that one and has the benefit of being set up for internet etc (as per smart TVs).
The remote isn’t amazing (unless you really understand all the options…) but we adjusted the picture size and quality easily and I can’t complain about any aspect of this product.
And it arrived quickly too.
If you are thinking of buying a projector you cannot go wrong with this one.

This has been a fantastic family asset. The big Amazon pull-down screen we also purchased combined with this machine gives very crisp images with true 1080p definition, a bright image, and no visible time delay. I first looked at projection a few years ago and they just were not up to scratch. But this really represents an advancement.
At this price a bargain. Only slight downside is the fan is a little loud.
As you can see in the photo, the picture is still vivid with some ambient light in the room. Strong daylight does really affect the picture but if you’re buying this for watching movies in the evening, that’s not going to be a problem. The fan can be quite loud if you are sitting right next to the projector (if you have a small room) but this is to be expected at the price point and is easily drowned out by the audio of whatever you are watching.
After some fiddling with the manual and digital keystone controls the picture is crisp on a normal painted white wall. Overall, this is very good value for money!
Found this discounted at around 120 and I need to say it really is an impressive projector for this price. The picture is sharp on all parts of the screen and with fairly good contrast. Fan noise is noticeable but the build-in stereo speakers are powerful so it is not really a problem (unless you intend to watch something on a low volume, which can be difficult due to the fans). Fans are mainly blowing air out from the left side (watching the projector from the front, i.e. looking at the lens), so if you can stand on the right side the noise is reduced. Overall I am quite happy with this product and will definitely recommend.
The only downside is that only my phone recognises it if I plug it through an HDMI-USBc port. My girlfriend’s phone and my tablet don’t work at all. The upside is that you have plenty of ports for a WIFI dongle (also firestick or chromecast).
Easy to use, setup and watch. Sound and picture are great! This will not replace a TV, if you want TV quality just buy a decent HD TV.
For the price the projector is absolutely worth it. Great picture with the likes of Netflix and Disney +. The fan was louder than I expected but not a deal breaker. I’d recommend this for movies and series over gaming but still makes it an enjoyable experience on 100″+.
The video is using the built in speakers – which are great – and it is playing in the middle of the day. Nice and bright and crisp detail on a 200cm screen.
This is my very first projector and surely did not dissapoint me. It’s easy to set up and the quality is just impressive. Very flexible device in terms of settings to achive high quality image. The air cooling system is a bit on the louder side but it does it’s job. To balance that the sound quality with the bass is something I haven’t seen with other projectors. Highly recommend this product!
You can easily connect any device to it without any problems.
I have mine set up in my kitchen dinner room. Mainly to watch live football matches and boxing events.
I have made a shelf for it to go on dropping down from the ceiling. For a screen i used a white blackout blind 6ft which i got for under 20 pounds.
I have my Fire tv box connected to it and it runs flawless even in the day time. I have watched a few ultra HD videos on it and they run great.
It as a slight fan noise which is not that noticeable when the volume is turned up. The built in speakers are quite impressive. But you can connect your own speakers if you wish.
Watching football and boxing is fantastic. You can’t get a small tv for this price. My screen is roughly 72inches by 80inches. Cinema style.
I got this in the Black Friday sales which was a bonus.
I would highly recommend this projector.
I am not a movie buff, and don’t even have a TV…..and now I don’t need one! This is brilliant, used it on a white wall, the picture is about 8 feet wide, crystal clear, as is the sound. I can’t even work a Tv these days, but this took me about 1 min to get going, instructions are barely needed, it’s very much plug and play, almost entirely idiot proof. A very good purchase which my teenagers whole heartedly approve of!
Update: the company are offering free gifts for 5* reviews so take these reviews with a pinch of salt. That said, I still have no reason not to give this a 5* review. I doubt the brightness or quality is what they claim it is (you need a reasonably dark room to see it well), but it was good value and the quality is what I expect for the value.
Good Projector that fills a 100 foot screen very well and clearly with good colour variation and depth and enough things to play with to achieve an image that you like. the room must be dark but it does give a very good image.
I would highly recommend.
I can think of only two slight problems – the remote is a bit flimsy, but it works OK and the other one is noise. Clearly all projectors have this problem with the cooling fans. It would be nice if it was a little bit quieter, but you can always turn up the sound! And this is sold as a budget machine although I find there is nothing budget about it! I have had professional experience of projectors such as this over some thirty years in the computer world but none of them comes close to this one in terms of quality and they were also noisy. An excellent buy.
This projector is excellent value for money. It arrived quicker than expected and perfectly packaged. This projector is easy to install and we have mounted it on the ceiling with little effort. The Picture quality is amazing and no need to link to a sound system as it has a brilliant loud speaker on board. All in all I would recommend this item to anyone. For the money you will not get better.
I’m new to the world of projecters. I bought a mini projector just to see how it goes then followed it up with this one a few days later. Must say I am impressed especially for the price at around 135. Imagery is excellent and much improved compared to the cheaper one I bought for around 55. Can’t complain. Projector also has a auto correct feature making it easier for adjustment. Comes with a 3 year warranty. Thank you very much!
The first projector I have ever bought, and I was really hesitant due to the price, but took the plunge after reading the reviews, and I don’t regret it at all!
Great value for money, picture quality is great, really nice design of the projector and looks nice in my bedroom, easy to set up, portable, and overall a really great investment.
The only (very small) downside I would say is that it is a little noisy, however once we have something playing I tend to forget about the fan noise straight away! Great volume settings on the projector, potentially need a sound bar in an outdoor setting.
Excellent projector for the price I paid ( just below 200). The brightness and the clarity of the pictures are amazing. Very easy to set up. I am very please with this purchase. The delivery also was amazingly quick and prompt! Highly recommend product and the seller.

This is the second projector I have purchased, as the first one wasn’t really up to PS4 gaming standard, however I am really pleased with this projector is it definitely 1080p, and I have been playing my PS4 on it without any problems.
Its easy to setup, and picture quality is great. so if your looking to game via projector, then this is definitely worth purchasing.
Considering the price this projector punches well above it’s weight, brightness compares to my 3400 lumen BenQ projector and the colour quality is more accurate. Noise of the fan is quite loud but I don’t see it as an issue. The lack of zoom is an inconvenience however you can zoom within the internal software which is quite effective. Focus is very good for it’s price however as you would expect some outero image blurriness is present.

We had a problem with a faulty remote control that didnt seem to work after a short while but that was quickly remedied by the seller with a replacement. The projector itself I cannot fault for the price, the picture quality is outstanding even on the basic 100 inch screen I purchased with the projector, the sound is clear and the input (2x USB and 2x HDMI ports) options are more than enough ways to play any media I want. Very pleased with the purchase.
