I think from previous research I ‘ve done, from the cheap ones, this is one of the consistenly better options.
Especially given that its unit at this level doesn’t have the highest QC.

This was an 18th birthday gift for my son who absolutely loves it, he plays it every day. It is very good quality for the price.
Who is it suitable for? Well I played guitar quite a bit in my youth. Now I wanted to take it up again for my mid-life crisis. I wanted something pretty good without shelling out a fortune. It really fits the bill.

Beide Spielen in einer Band und sind erfahrene Musiker seid ca 20 Jahren. Beide haben auch diese Modell von Yamaha und sind vor alles vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhltnis begeistert! Beide nutzen auch ak. Gitarren die ber tausend Euro kosten und finden, das Die Yamaha-Gitarre fast gleichwertig mit den teuren Modellen ist!!!

Chitarra esteticamente splendida, di un bel nero lucido (che mostra facilmente i segni delle ditate e della polvere, nulla che un buon panno non possa pulire) fattore che me l’ha fatta preferire alla sorella minore f310, con cui divide la gran parte dei legni che la compongono.
Comprata a circa 140 euro, non vanta un top solido, caratteristica di chitarre dai 200 in su, ma come prima chitarra e per l’uso che ne desidero fare ottima, con manico scorrevole e un suono caldo che me ne ha fatto innamorare.
Yamaha uno dei produttori leader e i suoi prodotti entry level sono considerati tra i migliori, e nel mio caso non posso che essere d’accordo, consigliata a tutti i neofiti come me, o a chi desideri una “chitarra da battaglia” da portare sempre con s.
Mir war es wichtig am Anfang eine gute Gitarre zu kaufen, damit ich niemals der Gitarre die Schuld fr einen schlechten Klang geben kann. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhltnis ist TOP.
Warum ich gleich auf eine Westerngitarre gegangen bin, die schwerer als eine Konzertgitarre zu spielen sein soll? Weil ich gleich auf dem Instrument ben wollte, welches ich letztendlich spielen mchte. Ja, die Finger tun einen am Anfang etwas weg und leichte Hornhaut bildet sich. Aber ich werde belohnt von dem guten Klang.
Nach wie vor wird die beste Gitarre nicht das tgliche ben abnehmen und Ausdauer ist beim Gitarrenspielen eine echte Tugend. Aber der Griff zu diesem schnen Instrument fllt mir leichter, weil ich den schnen Klang auch hren mag.
Selbst wenn ich nicht spiele, sieht diese Gitarre sehr dekorativ in meinem Wohnzimmer aus.
Ich kann den Kauf dieser Gitarre nur empfehlen und gebt das Spielen nicht auf bt jeden Tag, lernt schnell die Griffe blind zu spielen und sucht bei youtube nach Justin Guitar Beginner und da habt Ihr einen guten Lehrer online!

Da ich ein ernsthaftes Interesse daran habe Gitarre spielen zu lernen habe ich mich auf etwas sicheren Terrain bewegen wollen. Die Tne sind sehr klar und weich zugleich und vermitteln auch ein sicheres Spielgefhl. Optisch ist die Gitarre, fr mich, auf jeden Fall ein Hingucker und wurde auch schon von Leuten bestaunt die selber lange spielen.
Einen Abzug gebe ich den kleineren Lackfehlern die auf der Gitarre zu sehen sind. Fr den Preis vllig in Ordnung, bei einer Gibson fr 2000 wrde ich es nicht tolerieren;))
Von mir aus eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
got this for my daughter, she has been playing a while and this is perfect for her. I’m not an expert on guitars at all but it has a really lovely sound. The guitar also looks very attractive so all in all I think it is a good buy and would recommend it to anyone.

Sometime in around 2004 I attempt to kick-start my learning and traded that for an electro-acoustic (make not well known) and also never got round to buying an amp. That guitar looked better but didn’t sound better so ultimately I gave up, as my attempts at playing reduced to an average of once every six months.
However my interest in music has been re-ignited, both from a listening perspective and now from a learn to playing perspective.
So I thought I would try again. Not wanting to make the same mistake with buying too cheaply this time I though I would start by something that was a little bit further up the quality and price scale but without going over the top (my playing is not up to a top end guitar).
Reading reviews I almost bought the Yamaha F310, for added insurance I plumped for the more expensive F370.
In black it looks the business and also sounds better than anything I had bought before (even to my ear). I’ve had it for a week now and am averaging an hour a day.
With the aide of You Tube I am also beginning to pick material up related to playing my kind of music much easier pre-Internet days back in 1994.
So, the quality of the guitar is at the level I wanted, it looks good enough to be on a stand in the living room and I am certainly enjoying thrashing out some chords and a little bit of picking on it. Who knows I might actually get somewhere this time round!
I had a cheap Argos guitar to try to learn and I was going nowhere (action on the guitar was too high making it difficult to play some chords). With the Yamaha, I don’t have that problem and my progress have been great so far, the guitar sounds very good, thus I am not an experienced musician but for the price you can’t go wrong.

Preis – Leistungsverhltnis ist einfach unschlagbar. Der Klang ist satt, kraftvoll und kristallklar. Einziges Manko sind leichte Leimspuren um das Schallloch, bei diesem Preis aber zu verkraften. Ansonsten sehr guter Zustand und sieht sehr edel aus! Lieferung schnell und gut verpackt! Nicht nur fr Einsteiger sondern durchaus auch fr Profis geeignet. Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!

For the money this is a very decent beginner guitar with relatively low action and a good sound.
It will probably benefit from a good set of strings being added.
Agree with previous reviews that the packaging is fairly flimsy however my guitar arrived within 48hrs in perfect condition and the box was not damaged in any way.
It is not playable from the off and will have to be tuned. If you are a beginner I would suggest you invest in an electronic tuner. Good ones are available on here for about 6 and will make your practice sound far better than trying to tune by ear.
Normally I would not encourage buying a guitar online or without trying it out first but gave this a go due to the saving on rrp and been pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended.
So – does it play like a bag of old nails? Definitely not. A quick tune-up and off I went. The tone is lovely. The neck is comfortable and really accurate. The frets are perfect and the intonation is fabulous. Straight out of the box this is the best set-up acoustic I have ever bought (and I’ve bought a few over the years). Even full barre chords at frets above 13 are clean and perfectly in tune…similarly with open chords. The action is 100% and the machine heads are very smooth and accurate and hold pitch excellently.
Yamaha quality and Amazon storage and logistics is a great combination…and my initial fears about buying an acoustic instrument sight unseen and unplayed have been blown away. Get the manufacturer right – and the retailer – and you might end up as happy as I am with my new Yamaha
Five stars – 10 out of 10 – and that’s before I mention the awesome low price.

A month later and it just gets better. Possibly the best 4 weeks of guitar I’ve had for many years. Everything still tight – intonation perfect – frets perfect. My playing had dropped to much less than an hour a week but I’m currently playing the Yamaha an average of 2 hours a day – and would do more if this was possible.
Five stars are not enough!

Six months later and no change. This is a serious bit of kit at a bargain price. I can’t recommend it higher. Still 10/10 and a joy to own and play.
En cuanto a la guitarra en s, tiene un sonido ms que decente para ser una guitarra de “principiante”. Y digo “principiante” porque llevo casi 5 aos tocando la guitarra elctrica y varias acsticas y ahora he decidido dar el paso definitivo a las acsticas. Realmente estoy muy contento, pues invirtiendo relativamente poco (es un producto de gama baja) he obtenido un instrumento de calidad.
Puede que no sea la guitarra definitiva, pero s es ms que decente, y saca un sonido muy aceptable. Adems, la confianza que puede dar una marca como Yamaha hace que sea una buena opcin para quien quiera iniciarse en el mundo de la guitarra acstica.
The delivery was super fast but the guitar was loose in a box contained within another box. It was banging from side to side. When i opened the inner box the guitar was wrapped in a thin foam cover and i discovered 3 dents clearly visible on the sound board which was very disappointing.
Overall a great instrument but be prepared for an unpleasant surprise when you open the box due to the packaging.
I love this guitar, had it for a good few years now after buying from this seller. After much use it’s still in brilliant working order. Would recommend for sure!
Slo abrir la caja me enamor de ella, su color de madera natural te deja sin respiracin. Las fotos de la web no hacen justcia. Es super bonita. Y que decir de como suena!! Exquisito el sonido al vibrar sus cuerdas, y eso que an me queda mucho camino por recorrer, ya que no s nada de tocarla, pero s que he escogido un buen producto duradero y con buena acstica.
Dudaba entre el pack F310 y esta la F370, pero tras leer muchas opiniones en otros Amazon de Europa decid subir el escaln y comprarme el resto de accesorios a parte.
Muy recomendable para preservarla es un estuche duro!! saludos.

i had an encore for my first guitar but it was
impossible to do some chords as it was extremely painfull on figertips.
the fretboard is very fast so u can change chords quickly with ease.
i cant rate it any high enough its pure dead brilliant.
buy it you wont be dissapointed. only negative is you tune it before you play it but
with an electronic tuner it is a very minor complaint.
you wont get a better guitar for your money.

The guitar has a great full bodied sound & the fret board has a nice feel to it, with a reasonably low string action.

I can play a keyboard and I write and record my own music but in over 60 years of loving contemporary music I have never learned to play guitar – so I decided it was about time. I wanted a decent piece of equipment without breaking the bank and I am more than pleased with the F370. The sound quality is very good and the strings are close to the fret board which makes it easier to apply the right amount of pressure to the strings whilst trying to put your left hand through the contorsions it was never designed to do. Combining this guitar with the ‘Crash Course Acoustic Guitar Book’ by David Mead is a great way to learn. The only thing you need to be aware of is that the extras you require to start playing (strap, tuner, picks, case etc) will cost around 60 so you need to factor this in when making your investment. A highly impressive product.

I am very happy with this guitar, it sounds beautifully and the scale-length makes it easier and more comfortable to play. Excellent finishing and after being in countless shops around London, I can definitely say that it is an incredible value for money.
Bought as a present. It went down well, they said it sounded good and liked the look. The listing stated that it was already tuned however it did have to be retuned but this wasn’t a problem as the recipient is able to do this. I think it was good value for money and the fact that it came in black was a bonus as it meant it was a bit different to most acoustics. Overall, happy with my choice and the service I received from amazon. Delivered on time, as agreed with no issues.

[Edit] Having now owned it for 24 hours, I can confirm that I’m still as impressed with it as I was when I first strummed it. My playing is at least 50% worse than I remember, but that’s lack of practice and nothing to do with the guitar. Having now belted out a few classics on it (my poor neighbours!) I can honestly say it’s a great guitar for the money and I would definitely recommend it to any budding guitarist.

Only minus was we had 2 delivery cancellations , before it finally arrived. This really messed up my week and caused my son dissapointment, as he dashed home from school expecting it to have been delivered but it wasn’t ….TWICE.

Was ich nicht kannte: der Steg kann durch einen Imbus-Schlssel verstellt werden. Die Gitarre hat nmlich beim Spielen gescheppert am Anfang, durch das Verstellen wars dann weg.
So I decided to buy a proper guitar, not too cheap, not too expensive, and this Yamaha F370 Natural model was my choice – and I made the right one! It’s light but not insubstantial. It’s smooth and looks well built – the neck especially looks very sleek, strong, and well made. Playing it is a huge difference to playing an electric guitar, the sound of the acoustic is so much richer and deeper. Songs like Green Day’s “Time of Your Life”, the Beatles’ “Norwegian Wood”, and Tom Petty’s “Free-falling” all sound different on acoustic, and so much better. One of my favourite things to do these summer nights is sit on my balcony and knock out the songs I’ve learnt into the night – for some reason the guitar sounds better in the open air.
For anyone getting serious about their guitar playing, this is an inexpensive and well made, great sounding guitar that I highly recommend. I love playing it and the music coming from it is awesome, you can hear every string in every chord perfectly.
NB. There are 20 frets not 21 as noted in the product description.
Der Klang ist schn voll und harmonisch; das Aussehen ist Top (habe sie in schwarz bestellt), und die Verarbeitung ist auch Professionell.
Jetzt das aber schlechte (weswegen ich aber dem Produkt keinen Stern abziehen wollte, da es mir rein um die Lieferung geht). Die Westerngitarre war in einem, geradezu hauchdnnen, Pappkarton eingepackt und mit lediglich einer dnnen Schaumstoffdecke ummantelt.
Dies verwunderte mich zwar aber ich hatte, bislang, ja auch nichts zu meckern.
Doch nach ein paar Tagen (ich glaube drei oder vier waren es) machte ich whrend dem Gitarre spielen eine erschreckende Entdeckung, unter dem Kopf der Akustikgitarre fand ich einen breiten Riss am Hals der Yamaha.
Ich wei bis heute nicht, ob es nur ein Lackschaden oder sogar eine Beschdigung am Holz war.
Jedenfalls, schickte ich die Gitarre zurck und habe mein Geld zurckbekommen (dank Amazon).
Ich machte mir daraufhin mehrere Gedanken und kam zu dem Schluss, dass eine E-Gitarre viel sinnvoller fr mich wre und bestellt mir deshalb eine, nur diesmal bei einem Onlinemusikshop.
Als ich den Verstrker und die E-Gitarre erhielt waren sie unfassbar gut verpackt … ich htte den Karton die Treppe runterschmeien knnen und wahrscheinlich wre nichts geschehen, deshalb rate ich zu Onlineanbietern, die sich auf Musikinstrumente spezialisiert haben. Dadurch hat man auch noch mehr Vorteile, wie z.B. 3 Jahre Garantie.
Aber abgesehen von dem Versand kann ich die Yamaha F370 nur weiter empfehlen, auch wenn man daran denken sollte, dass man, da es eine Westerngitarre ist, die wie jede andere auch Stahlsaiten hat fast immer mit einem Plektrum spielen muss.

The sound of the guitar is brilliant. Have not touched a guitar in years. Was good to get back in the groove again. And with YouTube and internet – can easily learn to play songs and new chords etc.

The guitar has a great sound, and looks good too. Yamaha make good quality, well rounded sounding guitars for a reasonable price for beginners. We originally ordered a Yamaha through Amazon FR, but they didn’t state it had nylon strings so we sent it back and used AmazonUK. Incidently I am still waiting for notification regarding reimbursement for the first purchase. Amazon FR is not a patch on amazon UK!
I have taken up playing guitar after a break of some 35 years!! I am very pleased with this guitar and was guided by current reviews. I have invested in a set of Elixir strings which should improve what is already a great sounding guitar. Very pleased with this and am steadily getting to grips with playing again. I had previously owned a Yamaha acoustic guitar and wasn’t disappointed with this model.
Hierzu kann man nicht viel sagen auser, dass sie fr den Preis eine der Besten Gitarre ist die ich Besitze.
Ich habe mir vor einem Jahr eine Akustikgitarre fr 300 Euro gekauft und diese ist weit asu schlechter verarbeitet als diese hier.
Deshalb gibt es nur eines zu sagen, kaufen kaufen kaufen 😀 Sofern man Gitarre lernen will. ^^

Das einzige Negative an der Gitarre ist, dass Sie im Hohlkrper sehr Breit ist, was nicht unbedingt Schlecht ist, aber fr Kleiner Leute nicht so geeignet.
Das Positive daran ist allerdings, dass durch den Groen Hohlkrper die Akkorde sich RICHTIG GUT ANHHREN. Vom Klang her TOP TOP TOP TOP.
Ich bin blutiger Anfnger und habe eine Gitarre gesucht die bezahlbar ist. Wer wei ob man’s durchhlt :-). Sie kam (super schnell), klang (super toll) und siegte! Mein Dad, welcher schon seit 40 Jahren spielt, ist total berzeugt von dem wunderschnen Teil, genau so wie ich. Ich kann sie nur jedem Anfnger, der erst mal nicht so viel investieren mchte, weiterempfehlen.
My first guitar iv bought, its better than it looked online and the quality is good. I been using my brothers guitar which he bough cheep and i can feel the difference with the f370 and iv been able to learn with ease on this one without much pain in my fingers, its easier to push down on the string because the stings are closer to the frets. I’m very happy with the Yamaha f370 Blk

Mein Ratschlag fr Anfnger ist: Startet eure bungen wenigstens mit dieser Gitarre (schlechter solltet ihr euch nicht antun und besser ist berhaupt nicht erforderlich). Jede gelungene Aktion wird mit schnen Tnen belohnt. Habe den Kauf noch keine Sekunde bereut.
I bought this guitar for my boyfriend as a Christmas present, it arrived quickly and safely. (just packaged in a cardboard box)
I have not heard it being played yet so I cannot comment on the sound. In the picture it appeared all black – but it actually has a brown tear in the centre (I would have preferred all black) as with all Yamaha guitars it only has one strap button. This guitar does not come with the accessories mentioned in another review – its just the guitar and an allen key.
Overall I am very happy with my purchase and I will update when I have heard it being played.
Arrived earlier than the expected date. Amazing guitar and sounds so good when I played it. Totally worth the purchase.
The Guitar was delivered the next day with Prime, but while playing the Guitar, I noticed a buzz coming from under the bridge and the sound, although tuned, was a little “off”.
I contacted Amazon advising of this and they immediately sent another one next day delivery. The new one plays fantastic, sounds great and doesnt carry the buzz of the first one.
All in all, I would highly recommend this guitar, it has the look of a more expensive product, although it no longer comes with the freebies mentioned previously.
Friends recommended the Yamaha, and I have not been disappointed.
The workmanship is top notch, the playing action is just right for me, and it sounds terrific.
I tried out a couple of expensive accoustics (Fender/Gibson) in a local music shop, and the Yamaha compares very favourably at a fraction of the price.
Only problem now is sore fingers – I’m sure they’ll harden up soon though!
The biggest hassle was returning it however as it cost me 14 quid to return it. Not much you may say but it all adds to the ache of the process, I am willing to give Amazon another chance though which is why I requested a new guitar instead of a refund.
As for the guitar itself, it is a beauty with a great action, I look forward to receiving my new one…hopefully.
I only took one star off because of the hassle with the return, other than that it’s a smashing guitar.
This guitar is very nice, very easy to play and looks amazing but im having trouble with the strap, if anyone has any info or help please leave a comme
I am a total beginner, so I don’t know much about guitars :/ But I think it has a really nice sound. The reason I chose this one instead of the F310 was generally because of the looks and finish. The other guitar is said to be easily scratched and chipped, which is another reason I chose this one.
It came very nicely packaged and because I had Amazon prime, it came the next day. Wait for the guitar to come back in stock with Amazon so there is free delivery and a cheaper price. As I believe I got the last one in stock. Lighter than I expected it to be, so it’s easy to carry around. The fret board ranges between 4cm to 5cm (easier for people with small fingers to use).
Yamaha is a well trusted brand, which is why I went for their guitars and they haven’t disappointed. For the price, it is definitely worth it and sounds similar to expensive models. If your looking for an affordable, great sounding, nice looking guitar the Yamaha F370 is the one for you 🙂
