I bought a used one wirh the smaller battery and manages to cut about 150 square meters after a week since last short cut and a full box of grass collected. Still had half battery left. Cut and vacum is pretty strong and it feels so light I was shocked. Battery charges in less than an hour which is great.

Despite the almost fully plastic construction, including the wheels, it’s the most convenient lawnmower I’ve owned. The adjustable cutting length is great. Cutting long grass very short is not an option because the engine can’t handle it and stalls, but cutting at a gradually shorter length works well

I purchased this as I had broken my arm and my Hayter 41 was too heavy to use. I was extremely pleased with how lightweight the mower was and how easy to push and manouvre around the lawn. I found it tricky to lift the battery cover and insert the battery. This was overcome by lifting the front of the mower so that it rested on the handles and the battery then more or less dropped in vertically. My lawn is around 400 sq mtrs and the mower just manages to cut it on one charge. I’ve used it five times so far and experienced no problems. I have already recommended it to a friend who has purchased one and is also pleased.
Mowing my lawn with a wired mower took me around 45mins to 1hr to mow the lawn and with this I had everything done and even tidied up within 20 mins!!
Got this because our garden layout is too complicated for cables! Good run time and quick charging. Only snag – we’ve tried to get a spare battery and been unsuccessful. Manufacturers say it’s a new model and they haven’t started stocking them yet which I’m not sure I believe.

So much lighter and easy to manoeuvre than my petrol cylinder mower. I’ve used it about 4 times now and each time I get it out I wonder why I struggled with the old heavy petrol cylinder mower. The run time on a full charge is just about what the manufacturer specified and allow me to cut my 275sq metre lawn in 1 go. The grass collection and compactions works well so overall I’ve no complaints so far.

My husband used this mower for the first time today and he, quite impressed with it and we are just debating getting the Strummer as well.
After struggling with a heavy motor mower I decided to purchase a cordless one and it is a great improvement. I have a fairly large garden but the battery holds its charge well and recharges quickly.
The cut is good and the grass box holds a lot, so I am pleased with my purchase. I withhold one star simply as I have not had the machine long enough to say whether it has any faults, but so far so good.

Experienced issue with the battery which wouln’t charge, however the manufacturer rapidly sent spare battery and new charger. Haven’t had any issue since and really loves that Lawnmower!
Compact and easy to store with quick and simple battery charging
Nice machine, I ordered it because it should have a rear roller, mine did not. Returning it was a nightmare, Amazon, would not collect it, I struggled to find a carrier who would carry and item with a lithium battery. Cost me 35 to return it, got 4.75 carriage refunded. Not a happy bunny.
Overall really pleased this lawn mower after looking at many different options. For the price I believe this is very good value for money. I’ve seen critism about this machine being a bit plastic’ity but to be honest all mowers are unless you go up to the 500 pound range. My only critism is the mower is to light, meaning that the stripes are not as prominent as I’d like. Battery is excellent I can do my large lawn 3 times on 1 charge. No need for an extra Battery.
Really happy with this purchase. Very easy to assemble, use and very quick to charge.
My only bugbear is that I would have liked it cut about 0.5inch shorter on the shortest setting but something I can adapt at some point.

I love this lawnmower, no cables due to onboard battery, runs for about 40 minutes, so enough to give the whole lawn a cut. Quite sufficient for me. Maybe a bit lightweight for large lawns, or long, overgrown areas.

We have a small lawn (14 ft by 20 ft) and an allotment twice the size with 2ft grass borders all round. This cordless mower fits the bill nicely. It will do both with battery to spare. Charging is quick. Some fittings were incorrect but the helpline sorted that quickly sending replacement parts.
This mower is easy to operate. It’s very sturdy although light to use. It comes with a substantial battery and charger. The height adjustment is simple to use and the cutting diameter is ideal for our large lawns. By far the best of our previous mowers.
Easy set up, battery was fully charged. Works like a dream, perfect cut includes the edges. Like the stripes. I have 3 medium lawns and battery could mow them twice. Like pushing a pram. I’m sold on the battery – no more extension cables for me !
Really pleased with this mower, works well seems sturdy, but light weight and folds down to store easily, lawn cut excellent, cut this lawn and front lawn which is half this size with 3/4 battery still left, easy to charge and put in battery. Also has reduced cutting time by 25% as don’t have to keep moving cord and can cut in one go without stopping WELL PLEASED thanks yard force for great product. Instructions are quite small but if you use phone on photo mode and expand picture can see them clearly.

It is very light and manoeuvrable.
So quick to setup and be ready for use. I have a medium garden and the charge lasts at lest 2 mows. It is so light and manoeuvrable and powerful! I dismantle in about 20 seconds and can carry it easily through the house into my garage without needing to walk all the way round to the front. a great purchase with no more leads or heavy petrol machines.

I researched many battery mowers before buying this one. Easy to put together and exceeded my expectations.
Really pleased with this mower. My lawn is around 80 square metres and the battery has lasted for 2 mows and only used half the power. It’s quite light and easy to use. I’m very happy with it.
After a corded electric or a heavy motorised lawnmower this is a breeze. Your life will change! You whizz round and maybe tempted to do it again a few days later. Battery power is sufficient for a big lawn. What might have been a 30 minute chore is now dead easy twenty.
So why not five stars?
First, If you are looking for a bowling green lawn, this machine doesn’t cut really close even on lowest setting. Keen gardeners might want to add another washer under the blade. But for most lawns it does the job. Goodness knows what raising the mower height does! Okay for a field but useless for a lawn.
Second, the fit of the cuttings box could be better. Make sure it is securely in place. Grass can accumulate in the ‘fit grooves’ making the box liable to drop off. On the other hand, the box is net which makes emptying a doddle. No more banging a solid box to get the cuttings out.
Third, removing the battery can be a bit tough and a struggle if your hands are a bit arthritic. It really is a ‘locktight’ fit. Maybe that’s just me.
All in all, a good machine that does a decent job for quite sizeable lawns without loss of power. It’s also light and very manouverable. Just make sure the grass box is secure before setting off. Big charger boosts it in very short time and you can see the charge/discharge level.

Just done the first cut of the year, the grass was thick and high but this mower handled it easily. It’s easy to fold away and store, light to carry around and the grass box holds loads and is easy to empty. It’s my first battery mower and I can’t imagine ever going back to heavy noisy petrol tools.
Glad I bought this. It’s a good little mower and the battery life is just fine for our garden which is medium to large. The battery lasts for at least two sessions.
There are many out there and it seems I made the right choice for once! Hopefully, the after sales service will be equally good!

It runs for about an hour before it needs changing excellent height adjustment cuts well and no lead to worry about. the grass box is a nice size. Not for large lawn though. Would need two batteries
Vert easy to assemble and get started. Battery was charged so within 10 minutes of delivery I was gutting the grass. So far so good.
Saw this on a TV gardening programme. Wanted to replace a Flymo to get away with the cord etc. Very pleased and always plenty of charge. Does a great cut and easy height adjustment. Grass box is good size. I have a reasonable gradient to an upper part of garden and this tackles it very well. Thinking about getting the strimmer now

Had a flymo which was awful to use and needed to cut twice as didn’t cut well and cutting area too small. Had a petrol mower which was great but heavy and dirty…was too big for our gardens and steps. It’s essentially a mix of the best bits of electric and petrol mowers, light, effective, no cords, wheels so doesn’t stick to ground.
Decided to take the plunge with this and I’m really impressed. It’s small to store away and not difficult to fold, battery lasts a good 60-70mins on full use and cuts about 200m sq easily. Battery charges quick enough, we just put it on after each use and then once charged pop it back in until we use it again. The collector works well and doesn’t clog. Great product, very impressed.
The assembly manual was awful. There were only 2 pairs of bolts. But the pictures in the instructions were minute and even with a magnifying glass the images lacked clarity and looked as though they had been printed on blotting paper.
The folding mechanism for the handle looks pretty cheaply engineered. May just not bother trying to use it.
The manual is poorly written because the part numbering is all over the place and the assembly instructions rely on miniscule drawings which I found unreadable even when wearing my glasses and using a magnifying glass! However, the Yardforce helpline was excellent and quicky sorted my queries for me.
The mower is lighter than a petrol mower but heavier than my old Bosch cordless. My garden is on two levels so I have to carry the mower down three steps and then down a further three which are at right angles to the first three. Unlike my old mower the carrying handle on this mower is not centrally balanced which means the mower tips down one end which made it very difficult to get it down to the lower level. I am 87 so perhaps younger folk could manage this with ease. The levers which enable the mower handle to be folded over so as to enable it to be folded flat on the mower body can, if you are not careful during initial assembly, be screwed in too far which could result in the levers breaking when they are folded back to the mower handle side when unfolding.
Overall the mower quality does not match that of leading brands and probably its lifetime will be much shorter but considering its very low price I think it is a good buy if you need an inexpensive mower for ordinary domestic use.

First time out with this was disappointing the claimed 400 m sq capability was under question unless you were related to Usain Bolt, the grass was 2 weeks growth after a good wet spell mid summer set to medium height it struggled even on the high cut setting as well. BUT all was not lost after cutting back to normal height with the petrol mower , 3 days later this mower came into it’s own again medium height cut this smashed it 4 empties of the grass box matched the petrol mower , there was even enough battery life to complete the back lawn . A complete change of opinion this is now my preferred mower and all together good quality topper mower. Niggles are 2 small cosmetic trims fell off and were mowed and the foam handle has split after several outings looking forward to next season now …. this machine does have a hidden bonus the Hoover capability is 1st class for fallen leaves guess it will be out in the autumn many times.
Arrived speedily. A tad fiddly to assemble but once put together mowed beautifully and is good on battery life. Would definitely recommend this mower.
The lawn mower is great but I struggle to fold it down without feeling like it’s doing to dissemble. Apart from struggling to fold, I think it’s good. You can put the length from short to long on 4 modes and the matters life is good for a medium sized British garden.
It’s light, quiet, powerful, battery lasts well and charges quickly. And no annoying cables! What’s not to like…
Just be aware that if you plunge through a lot of really tall grass too quickly, while the motor is sufficiently powerful, you can clog the exit to the grassbox.

I am so pleased with this lawnmower – I dithered over whether to buy it or not. My last lawnmower was a large petrol model – heavy to manoeuvre, pumping out filthy fumes in my face as I tugged and wrenched it around corners and chased after it at top speed – (its only speed).
This one is so easy to use – very lightweight to handle – almost a treat to get it out of the shed and zip around the garden in a fraction of the time it took using my last lawnmower (no cord yanking/petrol filling/oil change – hurrah).
I had doubts when I first purchased it just over two months ago as I had let the grass grow far too long and it took five tortuous mows to get the grass down to ‘maintenance’ length. It seemed then that the battery drained very quickly but I realise now that was because it was having to work very hard due to the length of the grass. I hear it struggling a bit when the grass is wet and I do have to stop now and again to scrape the underside clear of wet cuttings.
Now that I am making an effort to keep the lawn trim and mow regularly, I find the battery copes very easily with my two lawns (50′ x 25′ and 20′ x 15′).
I would recommend this machine to anyone who is fed up with their petrol mower or electric flex. I am not sure how hardy it will prove to be but whilst it works it’s great!

It’s great as there is no cable, good size box very easy to use. Didn’t need my old petrol mower when I moved house with smaller lawn, got fed up with cable on electric mower. This is ideal.
Lithium battery doesn’t run down but runs out, check weekly, although it only takes about an hour to re-charge.
Half the time to mow the lawn…no wires to trip over or ge hwrapped round the bird bath. Light weight too..wish we had bought one before.

Love this mower, no leads to argue with. Its light easy to use and I am sure I will not go back to a plug in anytime soon.
We didn’t want to get a petrol mower if we could avoid it and I was afraid I’d run over the lead if we got an electric with a cord. This was a good price. It’s plenty powerful and used only about half the battery for our small garden. We don’t have a proper place to store it in the garden but unlike a petrol mower that drips oil and petrol and is heavy, this electric one I can pack back up in the box! It’s also quieter than a petrol mower. The design of the handle and grass collection could be better but like I said, it’s great for the price.
So far so good. It looks fairly sturdy and cuts very well. Battery easily lasts to cut my lawn, and the grass has never looked better. The rear roller does not produce stripes on the lawn, so seems like a pointless addition that just adds weight.

Was skeptical about the brand reading all the reviews. But this was the Big Brother to the model getting slated. All seems fine so far, Back & Front lawns cut 6 times this summer, and so far no mention of wheels falling off, or battery blowing mid cut. If it’s your first time with cordless, it’s a safe bet. I have kids, so not gonna have Wimbledon style grass, but to keep it looking sharp it’s a great piece of kit. Once on, my 2 yr old can actually push this. Super quiet too.
Seems pretty good, runs quiet, cuts well with lots of height settings. Battery seems to last well and shows half battery when finished mowing even after a 2 week cut (my lawn is roughly 11×13 metres) and it is light enough for me to carry up the steps to the back garden behind my house. Battery charges very quickly in about an hour. Be aware there is a delay after you press the side button and pull the lever before the motor starts.
After reading reviews that people are struggling with the instructions on how to assemble it, if you have problems fitting four bolts to attach the handle then perhaps you should let someone else do it for you! Takes about 10 minutes to do this, it is very easy. Amazon gave a 1 week to 4 weeks for delivery it actually took 4 days! I’ve used it twice and everything is good but I will have to wait on the longevity of battery and the reliability of the unit as a whole until I know how good it actually is.

Without doubt the easiest mower I’ve ever used, made really light work of cutting our lawn, hoovers literally every blade of grass up, feels a little bit plasticky putting it together but don’t worry, sturdy enough for most lawns I’m sure. Really pleased with it so far.

I wasn’t sure if a cordless mower could handle the length of grass I cut as I can let it get a bit long, but this mower performs better than the old petrol with the cut and collection.
I have about 350sqm which the battery easily handles.
Assembly is easy, but care should be taken to leave the clasps quite lose as I think overtightening could damage the parts.
