I use this Shea butter for soap making and it is great for the final soap.
It’s sometimes a bit solid to get out of the tub for measuring but I will still buy it. I don’t like the smell but I make scented soaps so it’s not a problem and you can’t smell it in the final soap.

I bought this to start making my own deodorant. It’s doing the job very well and is great value for money. This big tub cost the same as 1 of the product I was buying. By adding some other ingredients this has saved me a fortune.
Nurifi Shea butter 1kg: I ordered 1kg but did not receive the full amount which is unfiar and I am really unhappy about this. I’m taking 1 star off due to that.
The quality is great. I do not have much experience with shea butter. But from what I have researched, this Shea butter ticks all the boxes of a good quality one. The smell is very earthy/nutty (not rancid), texture is not grainy, the colour is off white, melts easily in hand. So I have no complaints about the quality, but I do have a problem with the quantity as I had mentioned earlier.
I used it to make body butter and hair conditioner for myself (cold whip with some sunflower oil). It turned out really nice! I love how smooth it makes my skin feel and how well it protects my hair.
I read they it is edible too, so I tasted a small chunk, I have to say, the taste will take some getting used to . But I’m not gonna give up on it. I will try menting it a bit and adding other ingredients to see how it tastes.
The butter itself is amazing and a massive chunk of it with bits in the tub. However, it was almost impossible to get into the tub itself. I could not open it even using my teeth to pull the plastic seal off. It took me a good 15 minutes to get it open using scissors and damaging the tub in the process so for that reason I will not be purchasing again as my hands are sore now! This is the 2nd shea butter product I’ve bought and had issues getting into the container! Just put it in a bag!
Good for home made skin or body moisturiser mixed with coconut and or olive oil. Arrives in solid for but can be melted. However, weight not always accurate. Well packaged. Wpuld recommend.
I purchased this as I wanted to make some body balms. This was so perfect without the essential oils added. The scent of this shea butter was like a sweet almost vanilla. So if you do plan on using this just by itself and bo added fragrance from e.oils. it would still be perfect.
I read the reviews before buying some of which were grim.
I did weigh it it was few grams over a kilo so i guess it is a hit and miss
the smell it earthy which did not at all bother me and it was not offensive in any way
cooked with it tasted nice, mixed it with coco, was lovely
and even put on my skin and softened it

I don’t have the tome to re weigh the product…. who does that? LOL! But I have only ever bought shea butter from Ghana so I know its what it says it is…

The smell is a little interesting, but not too bad and disappears when mixed with other ingredients to make lip balm.
The lid is ok to get off, if you read the instructions on the lid.

I have read a lot of negative reviews about Nurifi. I was very sceptical about ordering but my 12 years old told me that we should order the Cocoa butter because he wants us to make chocolate. (I’m still waiting on the Cocoa powder). I’ll be posting pics of my chocolate soon. The Cocoa butter smells amazingly chocolatey. The Cocoa butter filled the kitchen with the smell of real chocolate. I’ve melted some of the cocoa butter and add it to my moisturiser. It’s been one week now, and my skin feels and looks great. That’s when I have decided to order the coconut oil and the shea butter. All the products are 100% natural.
My grandparents use to make their coconut oil and Shea butter. Nurifi has the best Cocoa butter, Coconut oil and Shea butter in town. These products are all in their natural unrefined form.
The Shea butter is rich, creamy, and moisturising, and the smell is fantastic.

After reading some bad reviews after ordering I got a little worried about this product not being any good. I opened it and was pleasantly surprised. I bought the same product in a tiny amount from another supplier for the same money and it was exactly the same. The Shea butter is as good as any I’ve paid more for and the scent was how it should be and the weight was 1kg. So I got what I paid for and have a great quality product so I would recommend.
I was worried to buy it after the reviews being very mixed but decided to give it a try.
It’s fine, not off, not old, I don’t see any plastic, smells like I am used to with Shea butter.
Yet to make my lipbalms with it, if any issues occur I will update my review.
This product is amazing. Very moisturising for your skin and hair. Came exactly 24 hours later and great packaging. I do advise you to get an essential oil when you would like to use it. Overall great product!
