I am not an expert, but it is the second shea butter I use (the previous one was from another brand) and I like this one more. Of course the scent is not wonderful, because is unrefined shea butter, but the quality of it is good. I used it to create my own body cream and it is working wonderfully!
By the way, I measured the shea butter to make that body cream and they were very generous. The weight of my shea butter had more grams than I paid.
I received the product well-protected. The bucket does the job and now I am using it for something else. When I need more shea butter, I will buy it again from this company.
I love this product! One of the best shea butters I have tried. As to smell i don’t mind it but it does have a strong smell as my family know immediately when I use it. It comes in a practical bucket which I reuse for other stuff.

I didn’t know what to expect after reading negative reviews, but I thought to buy it,to make whipped shea.
Despite the bad reviews, as I always read the not good reviews before I make any purchases, I am pleased with what I got by taking a chance.
I haven’t measured the full weight after opening(i broke the tab a lil) lol. But either way, there’s a decent amount in there for my monies worth, It has that earthy scent but not too over powering,but I will mix with oils and whip. All in all im happy with purchase and delivery. Thank you

Very effective Shea butter. It makes my coarse 4C hair soft and manageable. I rub it on before taking my cornrows out and I can see the difference without it.
It hasn’t helped moisturise my son’s eczema as much as I hoped. But that isn’t the company I believe it’s his skin.
I bought this product in August an just opened it to find that the product has gone rancid. I’ve not had any trouble with the cocoa butter or coconut oil. I’m trying to start a new business up an I feel let down as I can’t afford to buy more for now.

I was surprised how hard the Shea Butter is. I literally have to cut lumps off to soften before use with other aromatherapy oils. When you add other oils it does mask the smell, which isn’t that pleasant.
Great product for moisturising dry skin leaving my legs lovely and smooth.
I have psoriasis and I only used this and my skin is better it has not completely gone but it has helped massively. Will continue using this
I gave it 1 star for scent but once it’s made there’s nothing wrong with it, it’s perfect. I’m not entirely sure what it’s supposed to smell like but I do have a refined she’s butter that doesn’t have a scent at all or at least is very faint. I still managed to make body butters and use them, mine weight 1142 so it was certainly enough I purchased two different tubs too

Brought this to make whipped body and hair butter. Very good quality. I was expecting a solid mass, which I received from another brand. This one was soft and broken into nice sized chunks. I now know the difference between low and higher quality shea butter. I will definitely be repurchasing this brand!

Product arrived on time. It looks solid, but just melt in a water bath or a few seconds in the microwave. Excellent for both body and hair.

This product is soft and pure. It absorbs easily into the skin leaving a lovely shea aroma.
Good product. Like any other Shea butter requires mixing with oil to reap full benefits. Olive or Jojoba works well.
Knocked a few stars for presentation as the 1kg is not what you get. I didn’t weigh but there was less product than quoted. The inside of the container can be seen. If this was fixed. I think it is a descent purchase. A little bit misleading in that sense.
My only issue was the tub lid, it was just a bit difficult to pull off 🙂
Melts down lovely for homemade cosmetics and produces a lovely soft, smooth butter – but the smell is truly potent and quite hard to describe, definitely not for me personally! Unable to mask or even slightly reduce the scent even when mixed with cocoa butter or essential oils. I won’t be using this particular butter again due to this, but if you like the smell of raw Shea butter it is otherwise perfect.
Dissolved in your skin! Perfection. I would advise to wear a scented spray on top of it as it’s smell isn’t as pleasing but personally I got used to it.
I didn’t expect a scent as it’s unrefined so I just add essential oils. Tubs a little flimsy but that’s ok but the Shea butter itself is lovely, really moisturising and a little goes a long way. Would recommend

I usually have my shea butter topped and brought over to me from Sierra Leone by family members. When I ran out I was hesitant to order online because I wasn’t sure about the authenticity. This shea butter I’ve ordered is not only smooth and creamy like feta cheese, but also has the same poignant smell of the shea butter I usually receive from home. Defiantly worth the price, will buy again!
It’s my first shea butter ever. It seems to be a good quality natural product even though it smells a bit.
Leaves my skin feeling moisturised. There is no irritation or dryness to my skin after use, which is great. Produced a vast amount of lather with very little product. Very satisfied with this product and would by it again.

I have tried a few different brands of shea butter for my homemade cosmetics, and have found they have come out the best with this from Nutrivia. I saw reviews about underweight items so weighed it and it was fine. The smell is great and my creams have come out silky smooth, would highly recommend.
I ordered this organic shea butter as my son suffers from eczema so I use it to make a balm. The product arrived promptly as promised. Having used quite a few other brands of Shea butter I wasn’t sure what to expect as I have had some good and bad experiences with other brands.
With this particular Shea butter I was pleasantly surprised. Packaging was very good. It comes in a block as you can see from the picture, bearing in mind I have used some of it already when this photo was taken.
The scent isn’t great but it’s not that bad either, I have had a lot worse. Plus I mix it with essential oils so the slight scent you do get from the Shea butter is masked.
Nurifi also sent me a 10% off voucher on my next purchase which was also very good of them.
Overall a very good product and I definitely would reorder again.

Great price and very intense moisturiser- a little goes a very long way. Really useful for making all sorts of things. Smells unpleasant- add essential oils and all sorted. Says is edible, but also tastes unpleasant!
As well as being value for money this product is consistently high quality. I’ve repeated my order at least 3 times and never been disappointed.
The product was what I expected. The right colour of ivory and not that bright orange colour Shea butter I have seen in the shops. The smell was lovely. I whipped up a cream and it came out lovely and very moisturizing. The butter came in a tub not a lock and seal plastic bag. And delivery was prompt. Will buy again.
Purchased this product a few times great for making moisturiser and soap. My only problem is that I would like the packaging to be something more ‘greener’ and sustainable. I have used the empty tub for other things but I dont need anymore tubs!

First batch purchased was perfect but for some reason the smell of this batch is really off smelling- No matter how much essential oils I use, I can’t mask the smell!
I bought it for making soap to be fair and it is brilliant. Leaves the skin smooth and smells heavenly. I got this and the cocoa butter from the same brand. Definitely recommend!
Excally what it says it is, I use it for making hand and body butters.
I use it to mix my own lotion and it’s incredible after melting.
However I found the box (1kg) extremely big for the content, therefore a bit of a waste on plastic.
I have used this lovely quality Shea to make my body lotion and both tinted and nighttime moisturiser. Once I got used to the smokey aroma I loved it.
It doesn’t smell very nice, but it can be subjective Its moisturisers VERY good. After that skin is so smooth And you can always make your own body lotion, if you don’t like the smell, like me. 🙂

first time i have used unrefined Shea butter so was quite open to how it presented. the smell is very distinctive, not unpleasant but i would suggest using strong smelling oils to try and combat the scent. i have used this in my own face and body creams and am very pleased how it blends with the other ingredients and the creams are really nice which this addition.

This product is natural, there is no scent. A little goes a long way, it has multiple uses, so is good value for money.
It feels greasy at first but then get absorbed by the skin, to leave your skin feeling soft.

Not used product yet, brought it to make some homemade cream for my eczema, product came in plenty of time after placing my order,if cream works well maybe I could have given it 5 stars.my only little niggle was pot was very dusty.
Satisfyingly large chunks of shea butter in a tub that’s bigger than my head. Love it! This will last ages. I’ve been using it on dry, sore skin and it is proving to be much more effective than my prescription emollient cream.
There’s been some previous comments that one gets less that 1kg, so I weighed the product in its tub, and it was over 1kg – 1146gm exactly, so I don’t believe customers are being short changed.
The smell is also good- some Shea butter I bought ( from a different company on Amazon ) had an offensive smell, albeit its therapeutic qualities didn’t seem to be affected.

I had a really bad case of cellulitis and as a result I had some really seriously dry peeling skin. This Shea Butter is the best I’ve come across and has helped in the relief of itchy dry skin. It was dispatched extremely quickly, I would highly recommend purchasing from this seller. They are a pleasure to deal with.
Not being an expert on Shea butter however from the little Ive read this seems to be the real thing. An off-white colour indicates its not overly processed and it has a pleasing smell and texture. Helped enormously with my cracked feet .
It was lot more than expected. It was a really good but you have to blend it make it usable. Really impressed with it. The smell was fine too. I would recommend it as it makes your skin smooth.
My order came well before Christmas day. However, I was surprised at the container…it is plain and does not have the same pattern as shown in the picture. Still the content is great as I love my Shea Butter. I gave 4 stars because of the packaging.

Lovely product! It arrived quickly, I was a little surprised it came, double bagged, in zip lock bags, but it seals well so no problem . I used it for making soap and smells GORGEOUS when melting it. Made some lovely soap, and have lots left to make more.
A Must Have. Leaves my skin very soft and also I noticed a difference with my hair since I started using a Shea butter mix as conditioner (Fuller hair, regrowth, etc..). The hard chunks can easily be microwaved for a oily consistency (Allow it to cool down First as the oil can get very HOT!! ). Perfect skin care product without the chemicals. Sealed in a plastic bag with quick delivery ,I shall definitely purchase again .
