This is a cracking little laptop for the money. Far exceeded my expectations. Handles my Steam games quite well, considering everything. Okay, so the screen is on the small size, but it has a mini HDMI socket so that you can connect to your TV. Overall, at this price point, you can’t go wrong.
Old Mr HP finally packed his sanity after 5 adult-4yr old children in lockdowns and went into RAM comatose sleep.
Work, University, College, Secondary & Primary settings are no joke & a memory card still sitting in my basket awaiting backup but still as of yet not needed with Miss Jumper Laptop.
This has all the programming required that iPhones & Android devices lacked to ensure the educational apps & systems were still available.
Set up successfully & quickly thanks to the female voice that guided me step by step while I was alone at night in a dark room. She patiently waited for me to return to the sofa after hearing her unexpected voice & initially deactivating the fight flight fawn settings on my primal instinct. A Diazepam later and we had a good chat, righted the worlds wrongs and boom windows was installed, settings approved accordingly.
Few months later and it seems to have appeased the hormonal gods from the bedrooms above.
I was a little worried about purchasing a no name lap top, but specification looked good, plenty of memory ,four core etc. battery life depends on use, normal use great, if playing games a lot less, it feels sturdy, compact and lite weight. A great piece of kit.
I was so surprised at the quality of this laptop especially for the price. I need it for college work and so far this has been brilliant. I had to figure out how to extend the battery but all is good now. Very quick delivery too and well packed. Would totally recommend.
The laptop is a fully functioning office laptop, good for your basic tasks Emails etc. Storage and ram are good for daily use. The battery life is as it says therefore no long trips travelling without charging but for the price you can’t complain. Love everything and especially the rubber keyboard cover, great for not getting your computer dirty and doesn’t even feel like it’s there.
exelent laptop runs quickly has a great screen and has a great gaming experiance for thew lightish games,
id recomend this laptoip for anyone that need some work done plus if they want to have a little time light gaming or watching yotube ext.
overall about the laptop for the price Outstanding
Bought for my granddaughter, she uses it for her homework and games. She loves it, it does everything she needs. Holds charge for a good time. Is easy to carry, light weight and thin. Good value for money. Very pleased with this product would highly recommend.
This product is great value for money and compare well with the big brand.
Does everything you need it to do and very happy with the=is product.
Surprisingly works well and fast. I bought it for my daughter in secondary school and she just loves it. It has an additional silicon key pad which enables you to choose the Qwety key pad that suits your style. My daughter simply loves it.
This is a very good laptop, I bought it for my son and he loves it. He says it’s very fast and he likes to play his Minecraft game on it. I would definitely recommend this laptop to any potential buyers.
Good battery life and easy to setup and use. Delivery was fast also. Very good value for money

I have a PC which I use for high end gaming so my requirements for a Laptop was not to duplicate that. I wanted one which would allow me to pick it up randomly and use it to search the web, write, read my in box mail and generally read topical news, no easy task when considering the number of Laptops available and their associated pricing. Then I came across “Jumper” laptops which appeared to offer all that I wanted.
Compact it was, lightweight it was, system operations was what I wanted along with a decent battery life. This 13.3 inch laptop appeared to offer it all and having bought it and used it now for a couple of months I am not disappointed. How could I be when the offer was for 365 day “Windows Office” for free, but you must activate to receive it. It also comes with a very neat keyboard silicone cover which sits snuggly over the keyboard keeping any accidental liquid spillages etc. from penetrating the working parts, it also allows it to be removed as and when to clean it keeping the original keyboard clean. Nice touch.
Overall this laptop serves my purpose, its powerful enough and fast enough for general casual working, would also be ideal for school work and or as a work back up. OK, ports are limited especially USB, but I have a USB adapter which when plugged in gives me an additional three, plenty. I am not going to do anything more than what I mentioned, so the advent of limited other ports is not a concern for me.
From unpacking to actually using it was straight forward and quick, listen and read and do what it asks and it sets itself up for you. Oh, before using it give the battery a charge, its quick enough such that you will not have to wait long to try it out.
The shell is a plastic but its rigid enough to support its contents and it has an appealing feel to it. For those with short nails, opening it up is a little challenge but over time its manageable. The opening of it is solid with a definite resistance rather than it being floppy. Press the on/off button top right, hold for a couple of seconds, blue indicator light lights up, then release button. Neat screen with good colours and it is quick with its dual band Wi-Fi. Into settings, adjust for your needs and you now have a very, very good quality laptop at a very good price. It does what it says and I use it daily and I am very pleased with it. As a personal preference I use a remote/Bluetooth mouse with it.
In conclusion if you are looking for a reasonably powerful, lightweight, visually appealing straight forward laptop at a great price, this “Jumper Laptop” will not disappoint.
It’s a fairly good product it does what’s necessary but it’s fairly slow and it crashes quite a bit, it’s light weight and it’s good for students but if you can afford a better laptop go for that alternative instead
This was on offer with a voucher and the positive reviews made me choose this. I only need a basic laptop for email, browsing etc. so it didn’t really matter that it wasn’t a super-duper state of the art one. For the job this does most things that I want and is quite fast on boot-up and windows open quick enough. The rubber overlay for the keyboard gives a slightly rubbery feel and occasionally a letter is missing as I type so I have to correct it. You do get used to the feel though. With two usb, micro sd card and headphone sockets it doesn’t spoil you with facilities. Occasionally, the laptop will not boot-up correctly with strange flickering screen artifacts such as coloured lines at the top of the screen or staying blank which a restart seems to cure. This could be a serious problem or a glitch which affects this machine but as it’s intermittent I’ll wait and see which it could be as I don’t have any files etc on it to lose as it’s only for browsing, email and such. I knew this machine wasn’t powerful enough for action games but should be okay for word or card games etc. so don’t buy this for gaming. For what I needed, this does what I want.
P.S. After 5 months it’s developed a fault with a thin line permanently across the top part of the screen.
First impressions of this laptop is how thin and light it is. It is a good looking and stylish. Lift the lid and you are faced with a 13.3 inch screen with 1920×1080 full HD display. The are two USB 3.0 ports and a mini HDMI slot along with a 3.5 socket for headphones.
The base rests on little spongy feet and creates a great grip on any flat surface.
I bought this as an everyday general use computer and it performed excellently in all the tasks I’d set it.
Having a one-year FREE Microsoft Office subscription for one year is a great bonus.
I have just finished watching Squid Game on it, and it was a comfortable viewing experience.
I would certainly recommend this laptop if you just want a hard-working everyday tool that will do mostly everything you ask.
It’s a nice laptop, it was very easy to set up and seems to be quick enough for my daughter to do her school work, I haven’t heard the usual shouts about something being laggy. Not tried any gaming so can’t comment on that.
Bought this for my son at an affordable price with reasonable performance. This is very lightweight, good screen size and resolution of the display. It is also very convenient as it is very portable and has a long battery life of about 5 hours, so you can easily carry it everywhere.

I have been using this laptop for more than a month and I can honestly say it met my needs. Fast and was easy to setup, also came with 1yr Microsoft subscription worth 59. I haven’t had any problems so far and can certainly recommend it.
This laptop is definitely worth buying. The sound quality is great, the screen always portrays everything clearly and the camera quality is also amazing. It is also very convenient as it is very portable and has a long battery life,so you can easily carry it everywhere.
I bought this over a year ago I think, and quickly wrote it off as rubbish and it’s been in a drawer ever since. I was hoping to play online poker tournaments on the go with it but that was a no-go. The software lagged so much it was unusable. Ended up just forking out over a grand for a high end laptop.
I had a clear out of my flat recently and came across this laptop again and I have to say, for the price, I’m now pretty impressed with it. It’s very lightweight and the battery lasts for ages compared to the high end laptops. Just remember what you’re paying though. You can’t multi task on this thing. It doesn’t like it. Just don’t even try! But it’s 190…. that’s the thing. It’s incredibly cheap so remember that if you’re expecting it to work like a 500+ laptop.
I’ve been using it for the past week or so in bed for PlayStation Remote Play and Netflix and it’s performed really well at these tasks. And no need to keep it plugged in constantly like you would with a proper gaming laptop. The battery goes on and on. Loading programs takes quite a long time but once they’re running, you’re all good.
Glad I found this again. It’s the little streaming workhorse I forgot I had! Cheap and cheerful, slim and light, sturdy build, 1080p screen, 6Gb of RAM…not sure what else you would expect to get for this price.
Having shopped around I decided to give this Jumper Tech Ezbook X3 a go, it’s inexpensive with all the bells and whistles you find on familiar brands but without the price tag. Wow! am I happy with this gem of a notebook, it’s lightweight, screen is sharp as a tac, graphics are superb. It boots up in seconds and has absolutely no lag switching from multi windows in 10. I use VBA extensively and boy is it quick compared to any one I’ve used. Highly recommended
I’ve used this for a whole week and feel satisfied with it so far. To be honest, this laptop is really cost effective and easy to carry with such light weight. I measured the weight, it’s about 1.28kg so it’s surprisingly light like a notebook! And the whole size is just so perfect to put into my handbag at 31X20.5 cm, not too big or small, just so perfect size. And the total thickness vary from 0.8cm to 1.6cm (from front to back). Btw I am actually impressed by the clarity of the screen, definitely 1080p, and sometimes kinda have the clearness of apple laptop. And the battery can actually last for 7-9 hours at maximum. Even the charger is with light weight as well. Camera is also better than my old laptop. The websites are running quite well also! If you want to have a portable laptop which you can carry to trains for doing work, it’s definitely one of the best choices at such a good price.
Great little laptop for the price, works well with minecraft and robot. The screen is small but the keyboard is full size.
It is a good little laptop for writing and watching some YouTube videos, but not much else. If you want it for working on then don’t expect video calls to work too great as the camera isn’t the best. I bought it for writing and organising my D&D campaign, and it does just that. It can be a little slow and the keys can stop working, for instance half of my backspace key doesn’t work, but that might just be because I type like a maniac. I had a problem with my headset being unable to connect to it too, the audio just wouldn’t work half of the time when I used the mic.
It is good for writing and YouTube, but not much else.

It’s very nice an has tons storage ssd option to raise it,I’m so happy with it at that price too, amazing photo quality the problem I have is they misprinted my dob so I need to factory reset it before I’ve even got to use it as a adult I can’t get onto YouTube I’m too young at 58 lol
This is an affordable all-plastic body laptop that enables basic computing such as school/college work to be done proficiently enough with its onboard 8GB RAM. Its VGA camera is not the best in the world even after maxing its quality and video conferencing in good light; but it does the job. Its speakers blast to an acceptable level. So far, its battery seems to perform as well as claimed by the manufacturer.
The machine is lightweight, thin and noise-less, so over all, good enough for the price it was purchased at. Amazon Customer Service has simply been top-notch with this product.

I bought this laptop for a non-profit to help give IT skills to young people. We were on a tight grant funded budget and this laptop fell within that budget. Surprisingly good spec in terms of screen DDR4 RAM and SSD drive. It has Bluetooth and dual band Wi-Fi.
However, only four stars owing to the fact that it has a non-UK keyboard with a rubberised overlay and also, currently, Is unable to activate Windows 10.
**update** activation troubleshoot solved the problem and the OS activated
The shape and size is similar to the Apple MacBook Air which I also own. However this is a plastic case. Not sure how durable it will be but fine for the lightweight use. I checked it on YouTube for streaming 1080p and the frame rate was reasonable. I’ve loaded office 365 which seems to work.
A brilliant device so far. Excellent value for money. Looks and feels great. Very good specs. Ability to add an additional SSD is a major buying factor.
Easy to set up had no problem’s using it this is a upgrade from my notebook .screen is great clear and bright. battery life is very good. Not used the camera ye
Very pleased with this product for the price. As an entry level laptop the value is extremely good. After a few boots it’s super fast and loads quickly. I love the keyboard cover provided. It feels sturdy, the keyboard is nice. I actually love the logo and think it’s rather beautiful to look at. The screen is not amazing but perfectly good enough and on Netflix etc it’s pretty darn decent. It’s not super bright but again… it’s all about how much you are paying and for most people it’s more than adequate. For this prices it’s outstanding! Obviously not the intended use at this spec but I’ve even managed to get a few retro games going on it to which is a bonus. Hope the company continues and introduces pro models too. I’ve used everything from high spec MacBooks to intel computers for work. For me my equivalent would have been a 400 to 600 pound brand name and I’m glad I didn’t. Save your cash.

Easy set up, fast delivery.. Will update after I get chance to use it a few weeks. Had this over a month now and no issues, it’s a great piece of kit. I’m not tech savvy but it has no problems with what we use it for, we home educate on it, watch movies, play Minecraft etc
Laptop came packaged well, it looks really good, is lightweight. Works up to standard, well worth the money
I had been looking at a number of laptops to replace my old 2nd one and this stood out. It has 8gb RAM and 128GB eMMC with the possibility of upgrading to 1TB M.2 SSD, looking at this I believe it is the 2242 size SSD as the come in different dimensions. The set up was simple enough and it was up and running in no time at all. It found my wifi straight away and my bluetooth phone. The graphics are crisp and clear with a large enough screen, the first image shows the comparison to a 17″ laptop. This is a sleek and light laptop with a decent battery life, it is powerful enough to play Sims 4 so I would imagine it will handle programs like minecraft. The battery easily lasted the 6 hours with normal use but three hours constantly playing Sims 4, this would be expected due to Sims 4 does take a lot out of a general laptop.
This is a great little laptop with large enough memory, expandable storage and a quad core Celeron CPU, along with IPS monitor giving better viewing angles than normal HD, another selling point for me. This laptop is perfect for what I need, general use and university work, oh and writing this review 😉
Good price for a powerful little laptop. Easy to set up and delivery was super fast.
I’ve been using this laptop for a while now & have to say I’ve been pleasantly surprised by it. For its price, it performs well & works fine. Ok, it’s no MacBook but I use it for work & it hasn’t let me down. Only criticism would be of the scratchpad which isn’t great but as I usually use a mouse it hasn’t really bothered me. Good piece of kit for a great price!
Super Verarbeitung, bin sehr zufrieden bisher.
Vielen Dank

I bought this for my daughters 10th birthday, to say she was ecstatic is an understatement!! She was absolutely thrilled with this and so are we. She plays Roblox more often than she should, and watches hours of YouTube too. In between her ‘me time’ it’s pretty good for her school work too!! overall fab laptop for the money, great investment and massively in very happy child!! Would definitely recommend!!!

Sehr schnes ultrabook zu einem sehr gnstigen preis, sehr dnn, sehr leicht, gut fr persnlich oder Universitt Gebrauch.
Very beautiful ultrabook with cheap price, very thin and very light good for personal, office or university purpose.
I was a bit sceptical about the laptop due to the price, however I can honestly say this is a great machine, better than I anticipated, it has a great screen and sound, it is also faster than I expected, I have already tried this for running some information and it handles it perfectly. The keyboard is American however you get an overlay which is a perfect fit for a UK keyboard. My partner loves it also so will probably never get to use it again. Highly recommend
Sceptical at first when deciding to order form a producer I’ve never heard off, but encouraged with all the positive reviews. Arrived in top speed time, good protective packaging both from the producer and Amazon. It was never mentioned, but the screen is antiglare, so another amazing surprise. Starts up quickly, instalation super easy. Keyboard is great, a pleasure to use. I even chanced it to install Digikam and it has no problem running a photo editing software, for as long as the files are not in RAW format, it is obviously struggling with that, but again for the spec and price it still performs. Overall super happy with the purchase, the first impression is really good.
My roommates sent me this mouse. I do want to say although this mouse is kinda like old type of mouse. But it’s overall worth the price since its pretty cheap. Also, it’s quite quiet while using it.
Good quality, and it is the right size for me. I have small hands and it is perfect for me.
A very reliable cheap laptop. After the initial windows 10 update (there were a lot took a long time) the laptop did exactly what it said on the tin.i have no complaints at all. Its sturdy and well made. 9 out of 10 for me.
Bought this for uni as my other laptop had packed up and after five years of the old one, it was time for an upgrade.
Bought this laptop on the lightening deal and I must say that this laptop is worth the money.
Arrived on time and well packaged. Easy to set up, no issues with it which is perfect.
Highly recommend this laptop.
Light weight and far from being a bulky piece of equipment to transport when required.
It is definitely a laptop suited for office/university work. I have read on a few of the reviews that this was bought for gaming, however I would definitely say, that after using this laptop for a few days, it definitely isn’t suited for that purpose.
Mouse is smaller than a standard size mouse. Aside from that it is a plug and play, responds to clicks without problem. No frill simple mouse
I am a dedicated Apple user but I also help people out with their Windows devices. I have an old Windows laptop that I use for reference purposes but I thought I would get a cheap new one. I am a retired computer professional so I examined the specification and features quite carefully to make sure I knew what was included. My first impressions are that this is an excellent little machine for beginners. It took me just about an hour to set up from scratch and install the usual features I like. The display is of a very high quality. The keyboard is nice and positive. The rubber overlay gives it a nice feel but you don’t have to use it. Not surprisingly it is not a Ferrari more a Fiat 500 so don’t buy this if you expect gaming performance and lightning fast responses. Storage is at a premium but there is plenty of scope for expansion. All told, an elegant and pleasant machine which is looking promising. If things (or my opinion) change I will update this review.
Great little laptop for a great price! I’ve been using it a few weeks for college work and had no problems with it. I would recommend it.
Never heard of these, read through reviews, and was happy to invest. Why pay big money for big names like Sony etc, when this lightweight beauty does the job. If you want a touchscreen pay a bit more, jumper does so a Tc version. I was just happy with this non tc versio
I have a more powerful acre laptop which is used for my day to day stuff, but I wanted a lighter and simple to use laptop to take on my daily commute.
The laptop needed to have good battery life as would be used for at least 3 hours a day, powerful enough to surf the net and watch some steaming sites, surf amazon etc. I had a budget of 200 and managed to find this one slightly over that, but it looked more powerful than the others I’d seen so I didn’t mind spending the extra.
My first impressions were very good, the design is sleek and clean, the case feels strong and looks great. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of my other one but has Hdmi out and a USB port which I will probably add a hub type device to to improve connections.
The laptop is super light and of a perfect size to do what I need to slip into my rucksack and not really notice it’s in there.
I’ve used it for over a week now downloading a few movies from my subscriptions sites and playing back on the screen without issue and with good quality.
The little unit is powered by an entry level intel processor, which is a quad core and 1.1ghz but can be overclocked more (double I think)- not something I’m fully up to speed on but may take a look to get the most out of it. It has a 128gb hard drive which should be fine for my needs, it longer term you can pick up cheap ssds to increase that size for little money.
Battery wise I’ve not run it fully flat,
But I’m getting well over the 3 hours I needed to get me through the day. I fully expect it to last double if not more than that.
It come preloaded with windows 10 which you set up as you first boot it on, took about 10 mins to set up and it’s linked to my other windows account which means I can save on cloud and download stuff across the two.
So far so good really for this little laptop, it’s apparent it is an entry level laptop because of the speed and connectivity but it’s exactly what I needed for my commute. Super happy with it.
on the boxing Day. I with my little boy to Curry’s bought one laptop for him Christmas gift. he choose Lenovo ideapad. we are take back home. I am turn on set windows 10. when I past the laptop for little boy. he can’t turn on it. I try several times still can’t turn on. I am come back Curry’s. the sales hope me change another one but I am refused. I got money back shop online. I search Amazon find this little laptop had 16th customer review 5 star. so I choose it. this laptop is lightweight and portable, which is convenient for my little boy as he can carry it around wherever . It seems sturdy and hasn’t taken long to set up. It doesn’t have any fans at the bottom so it’s fairly quiet while working. he have been using this laptop for web-browsing, watching films, play games with no issues. Perfect for browsing the internet, using microsoft packages and letting the kids mess around on the various games etc. After long hours working, the battery still have lots left, and good picture quality.
Overall, he is very pleased with this laptop, and it is reasonable price. thanks
It’s a great product for the money
As described, it’s lightweight. Screen quality is great. Battery lasts a while.
Performance wise: don’t expect to be a beast. I mean, the choice of storage has its toll, windows taking up to 2 minutes to boot. The CPU is a dual core, so yeah. RAM is enough. The GPU…doesn’t help even in simple games like LoL. SO this is not definitely a gaming machine. Maybe if you use Stadia…
The good parts and why I love this machine, with examples:
-lightweight
-good quality 1080p screen, great for watching Youtube or whatever
– low heat and noise (basically doesn’t have a fan)
-bluetooth
-huge battery time. I am having problems sleeping so I leave it playing youtube all night (battery can last up to 12h with optimisation)
I am not sure if better components would increase the price or size, but if the next version can have an SSD that would be a great machine
I’m frankly pretty stunned at what you can get for the money these days. This little laptop is so fast and the screen is super sharp! There are (nearly) no compromises, it’s all bang for little buck.
Speed: Chrome launches instantly, and it breezes through surfing the web (and at 6gb of ram, even Chrome won’t eat it all, hurray!) It will run 1080p videos on YouTube no problem (though I didn’t think to check if it was 60fps or not), though as with all of these laptops without a “proper” graphics card, going from normal mode to full screen video mode takes a couple of seconds to do.
You probably won’t be playing modern games on it, at least it wouldn’t be a terrific experience if you tried. I’d like to test that theory properly but I bought it as a gift and don’t want to install a bunch of stuff on it. But then it’s not built for that, it’s clearly a web browser and light work machine, working with Microsoft Office for example, and for that it really… excels (ba dum tsh!).
SSD: The emmc SSD makes booting a lot faster than it would be with a HDD, and just general usage of Windows is a zippy, low latency experience. It’s honestly pretty comparable to my desktop computer with 8gb of ram and an i3-7100 processor.
The emmc SSD being 64GB is large enough for Windows and a few apps. I would consider it to be the minimum size required these days, as windows itself takes about 20GB of that and then another 8GB for updates, so straight out the gate you’re going to lose about half the disk size to just running it. For that reason, I’d steer clear of any 32GB models.
An additional bonus is the m.2 slot, which means there’s a potential to make things even faster by swapping to a proper SSD if you have the know-how, or at least have extra space for files if this is your only computer. Note that emmc SSDs are not as fast as normal SSDs, but in this instance I doubt you could tell, everything runs perfectly fast.
Screen: The screen is smaller than I would usually go for myself, but oddly due to the impressively sharp and bright display, it doesn’t really “look” small. If your choice is between this and a 14.3″ Fusion 5 laptop, having used them both I’d go for this personally, but your mileage may vary. The speakers don’t seem to be as bad as they are on the Fusion 5 either, but you’d be getting a slightly smaller keyboard.
Build: Some people are saying it’s brushed metal, I don’t think that’s the case, I think it’s just good quality plastic that’s made to look that way, but the whole thing feels very solidly built. It’s not heavy by any stretch, but it’s not feather light either. I didn’t spend a lot of time typing on it, but the keyboard isn’t horrible, and they include a silicone protector mat to put over your keys if you want that.
The one issue I have is the touchpad has a tendency to jump the cursor to the bottom left of the screen when you press it down where you’d expect the left mouse button to be. It could well be that you’re not supposed to click in this way at all, so I stopped doing it and just used the “double tap” method which works fine. I’m a little concerned the touchpad is defective on my unit, but the person I bought it for will be using a mouse exclusively anyway, so I’m not too bothered. Otherwise the touchpad is fine, you can also use the touchpad as a scroll wheel by using two fingers at once.
Cons: Other than the touchpad issue, there’s the fact that there’s no ethernet port, so you’ll either have to use wireless only, or get a usb adapter. Thankfully the USB is 3.0, so it should be fast enough that it won’t bottleneck your speeds if you go that route. There’s also the HDMI port that is mini-HDMI, which some people claim is more fragile that full size HDMI, and usually means sticking an ugly adapter into it which will make it even more fragile… so be careful with it!
Conclusion: For this price range, it’s amazing. if you’re in the market for a cheap laptop that will run web, video and light desktop apps like Microsoft office, maybe Ableton or Cubase, that sort of thing, this should be perfect for your needs.
I bought this for my daughter as a gift for Christmas. She needed a basic laptop to use for school work and social media. This one fits my budget very well. What I like this product are the following:
– the screen display is great and sharp enough but does not have the sharpness of my well-known brand (understandable tho) I still would say that it’s decent enough.
– the USB ports works fine.
– it has the basic options for its setting like keyboard preference. language
– MS office works well as it’s the program my daughter needs.
– I had no problem connecting it with the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
– the speakers are clear and decent to watch a video/movie
– it is portable and light-weight. Another reason why I purchased it. Won’t be a hassle to carry it around.
I attached a video which shows that it started in less than 1 min. After comparing it with other brands in the market with the same specs/range, I would say that for basic laptop, I highly recommended as it meets my budget and specs I look for.
Comes with a charger and a rubber keyboard protector. Fast startup. Graphics card is not strong enough to play complex games but can play all of the power hungry games.
Hard drive is 60GB so its not big BUT this can be increased with an extra purchase of external storage. Sharpness and colours on the screen seem on point.
Windows 10 home built in. No bloatware. 4 hours or so to initially update. Fast shutdown. Excellent value for around 200. Recommended.
Pls confirm below if you found this helpful
It was well packed when it came. I was so pleased that I got a keyboard protector which fits perfectly and can resist dust and dirt.
Simplify design.Ultra thin and light. So it’s easy to carry when I go outside.Around corner at buttom, there are 4 rubbers which can anti-slip and cool down heat .The battery can last about 6 hours once full chargered. It’s quite fast when turning it on.Good stereo sound quality. Excellent HD display.Brilliant familliar Window System .It supports bluetooth which is able to connect to a wireless mouse or keyboard.
Although the memory is 64GB , it runs quite fast.I can even watch YouTube without lag.
Good for daisy use . Will recommend.
Arrived just 24 hours ago. So this is only my initial impression. Start is not as quick as some reviewers have said. May be because I am used to top of the range Mac . Size and weight are perfect for my old painful wrist. Setting up was quick except at while putting the D.O.B. No instructions.Video and sound are OK. Initially it was low, but I felt it was loud enough after a while. Hard drive although it said 64 GB, it is only showing 46GB after the basic installations. The left and right clicks are quite tough . Again, may be I felt because I am used to Mac’s very light touch. There are two key boards (American and U.K) which I have not seen before.(I have been working with Laptops for23 years and used 6 laptops and desk top before.) Typing is easy as the touch is quite light. One feature touch pad blocker I have not tried so far. Battery life is good six hours before needing a charge while using multiple pages. The charge on indicator is very tiny. All in all it is good value for money. My only comment is if any old person is buying first laptop, it is not for him/her. Suitable for the pensioner’s budget but difficult to set it up if they don’t have anybody to help. In the long run how it will be? For now I needed a light weight one for my two months holiday and it will do the job.
20th Aug 19–Three weeks down the line. I have been using everyday to see how it works. On off button is needing a bit more pressure compared to 1st day, sometimes even I have to press twice. More than that, I was getting eight hours with one charge and continuous usage some time opening two or three pages at a time. But now I think I am getting about five or six hours. Worse than that is, product details say it takes 1CR5 battery. I was searching on line everywhere and there is no such battery available. I wonder whether the description is wrong or if it is Chinese battery, what is the equivalent battery in U.K? I would like to know if any one had chance to replace the battery.
23rd Aug— replacement batteries are not available anywhere within my search. Asked the seller sell me one now before I go on holiday and he would not and asked me to send the laptop by courier. Did not offer any postage. Could not get any suitable Tf card either and he does not supply. So buyer beware !!
Very nice budget EZbook/laptop/notebook, not really sure on all the different terms used but personally I would just call it a small laptop but I would guess they are named or defined by if they have a drive, network port, size or touchpad but the reality makes it a small portable computer regardless of the name.
This arrived well packed and protected in a brown branded box with the charger, instruction manual and a rubber keyboard protector something I wasn’t expecting but none the less a welcome and useful addition easy to fit, easy to remove for cleaning.
After unpacking it and giving it a full charge I set it up, all very straight forward with Windows 10 and you can have Cortana assist in the setup if you wish, either way it takes around ten minutes to set it up and you can connect to your WiFi and log into your Microsoft account if you have one while going through the setup or skip and do it later. The first thing I did was check for Windows updates and let it do its thing installing them, no matter what computer you buy there will almost always be updates for the system and I would always advise this as the first thing you do.
The default browser is Edge but as I normally use Chrome so I downloaded and installed that so I could log into my account and have it mirror the browser on my desktop PC, I then installed an anti virus, I use Avast which is free and fairly good but there are several free alternatives, now I was ready to give it a good test.
The touch pad is very responsive and works well but as I have been using a mouse for over 25 years I find I am much more comfortable using one so fitted a wireless one I have which is plug and play instantly recognised, I tested the micro SD card reader slot which worked perfectly and could play a video file from it without interruption or any stutter, I tested a USB 3.0 with a USB stick and found the transfer speeds fine and recognition instant.
This is a very light unit and also has a slot if you wish to fit a SSD (solid state drive) to either increase the capacity or the drive reading speed, I found this to be nice and quick, the display is nice and clear, all the speed tests I did gave good results, it played video from the internet seamlessly and handled browsing multitasking very well.
Overall I really like it, it’s not a high end gaming laptop but doesn’t pretend to be or have a price tag that reflects it, it starts nice and quick, handles multitasking very well, isn’t bloated with a load of software you don’t want or won’t ever use out of the box, the battery life is very good, it comes with two USB 3.0 ports and a micro SD card reader along with WiFi and Bluetooth so connecting it up to other devices isn’t a problem and I have given it full marks.
