Product appears to be well made (at least the external Components). Easy to install, the led light is very bright which is what I needed when triggered. Leaving 3x stars for motion detection as not tested long enough to reflect true feedback [ Amazon allow more time for products like those 😉 next time]
Well packaged and a good design, much more “adaptable” than the older version and lighter in weight. It was comparatively easy to install if you do not mind ladders. The garden now serves as a locator beacon for the regional airport. 1st class light.
Bought to replace old 500w halogen unit, this comes pre wired so also bought a waterproof junction box to connect this to the existing wire.
So far it is working fine & it is nice and bright and not far off the more powerful unit it replaced.
Installation was simple but you will need a couple of washers as the screw holes are quite large, thankfully the two holes in the mounting bracket are elongated which means it’ll align with existing holes (it did with mine) and no need for further drilling. You will need to fiddle with the setting on the bottom of the PIR to get the desired settings but it’s reasonable straightforward and done in a couple of minutes at dusk.
I wanted to replace my old 500W halogen PIR floodlight for ECO LED version.
I worried if ever LEDs could replace 500W of hlaogen power.
Well I can safely say – this 65W LED floodlight is as good as 500W halogen.
The PIR has adjustable sensitivity and covers the hole garden, where as the old PIR was not so good.
There is an easy to adjust darkness control so you really can make it only go on when the garden is dark.
It looks cool too.
The only down side, and this is a drawback for me, is you CANNOT turn it on by switching it off then on again. This is a real shame, there were times it was very useful to lock the old floodlight on for long periods of time, eg clearing up after a bbq.
Other than that – a very good replacement for the old 500W jobs we’ve all got or had at one time.
Bought this unit to replace an old faulty unit at a new house. The bracket has screw holes that are fixed so new holes were required to attach. I ended up taking the light off the bracket to get it screwed onto the wall and then re-attached the light.
Good length of cable on the light, easy setup and activates for everything from cats to people. The time of day setting is a bit sensitive but once set, it shouldn’t ever need changing.
I was surprised just how bright this light is considering the mall size of the cluster of LEDs.
The range of time and sensitivity settings are very good, from staying on for seconds through to 10 minutes, although I can’t think why you have the ability for the light to come on during the day.
Purchased this light in November 2020, 18 months on and still works fine.
The light is triggered every night due to dogs going in the Garden so its
constantly being triggered. The light is still bright and everything is still
working. No issues at all with this light, I would buy again.
This is a good light. seams very sturdy and well put together. Easy to fit (you will need some pretty big washers tho as the fixing holes are way to big for a normal screw head). with a bit of playing around with the time and sensitivity settings got it set up just right. Comes on when I want it to and not coming on and off all the time like a garden disco that I’ve had with other motion detection lights.
Lights up the whole garden! I am very happy with it. Installation was easy. The cable that it comes with makes life easier. The lamps I bought last year at Aldi died this winter. I hope this one will last a couple of years. So far looks promising.
Brilliant outside light to replace my old one that had broken and became more of a strobe light that I had to just keep switched off just incase it was to give any one passing by an epileptic fit as u never know if there is anyone in the area or delivery drivers that might have an epileptic conditio

A good piece of kit that holds the power of the Sun, extremely bright and straight forward to wire in. Downside is the 3 option of set up take a lot of messing about with to get it right, also make sure the sensor is pointing down further than you expect, very bright though 🙂
I ordered three of these lights and managed to install them in less than an hour (I was replacing existing lights so I only had to connect them to the existing cabling) – it was very simple as they are sealed units so only the wires to connect – no tools other than a small screwdriver required.
After about 3 months, one of them started playing up so I contacted the parent company for advice. They took some basic details and sent me a replacement light within about 3 days – fantastic service!
As I said above the service from Amazon was above excellence the product was also very good the only problem was there was not any fixing screws or Allen key for adjustment or raw plug for walls inside the box I had to go to local hardware store to punches them but no complaint thank you

Only installed 2 days ago. It takes a bit of time to set timer if you need it below a minute, but got it ideal without too much bother. Otherwise, looking good.
Very easy to install. Long pre-wired cable which I cut to length. Very good light and you can control sensitivity, duration and set the light level so it doesn’t come on during the day. Adjustable angles for the Pir. The one I installed behind the house has now been working for 3 years, so hopefully this one will be as reliable.
I used this light to replace a 500w halogen motion sensor security light. The product is good quality and the light brightness is comparable as the one I am replacing and it will be more efficient on power usage.
Good powerful light and sensitive motion detector, but why oh why are the locating slots on the fixing plate so wide especially as no fixing screws or bolts are included. Eventually I had to use washers to reduce the size so I could screw it to the wall.
Lightweight & easy to install. Detection range not quite as far as would have liked but overall was not a problem.

Really pleased with this security light, it’s easy to set up and very powerful. So much so that my neighbor complained. They said it wakes them up at night when it comes on , so I altered the settings especially the sensitivity as I noticed myself that even a bird flying by triggered it to come on.
My son is impressed with it and getting one himself.

Woke up one morning to see what looks like to be scorch marks in the shape of a cat. Very strange, but light seems to be working well. Im sure it will help in the search for my neighbors cat Whiskers.
One small issue; the parcel was left outside the front gate, available to the passing public, in spite of the fact that we were at home all day and there are very clear instructions on ringing the bell etc, printed on the front gates. Other Amazon drivers manage this without difffficulty.
Got these lights for my front & back of the house, and they are excellent. You can adjust the sensitivity, day or night or 24/7 how long the light stays on.

Easy to fit,
One issue is the size of the mounting bracket holes,got away with using 10mm raw bolts.
But you could use long screws with penny washers.
Detection unit is very flimsy and can easily be altered,ie if cleaning the glass of the units.
Also found it frustrating to set the correct angle of the detector and it appears to have “blind spots” compared to the halogen unit it replaced.
But it’s ok-only time will tell how long the unit will last.
It is surprisingly bright and almost like day light. It covers a large area.
If you have a small to medium size garden then you might want to get a size smaller light. Another point to Consider is the neighbours and whether their windows is facing your new spot light. It really is that strong. I am well chuffed with it. The bracket is larger than what we had before therefore I had to drill new holes for it.
I had connected the cables wrong in my first try (please see below).
The light is working fine now and it’s really powerful. It’s giving a strong light beam to approximately 6 meters away.

I’ve installed this light today, but it’s not working. Seems like some of the leds are active and some are not.
I think I’ve connected the wires right too, I don’t know what is the problem.
I’ve written to the supplier and wait for their reply, I’ll update this review if I can fix the issue or have a replacement etc.
It is easy physically to install, but if you are replacing an existing PIR light, it is likely that the two fixing holes will be further apart than its predecessor as the bracket is likely to be larger and, depending upon the bolts/screws one uses, they might require a flat washer between the head and the bracket as the holes in the bracket are designed for a substantial bolt.
What was fiddly was arriving at a suitable setting for the three PIR adjustment screws. Part of this is that the PIR is very sensitive to movement across its field, but far less so with a direct approach towards it. I know that most PIRs experience this, but this one displays a greater difference than any others I have fitted in the past.
The floodlight part, as one might expect from a 60W model, produces a good amount of light, but it does seem to be a somewhat narrower beam than the model it replaced, but not dramatically so.
Would I purchase it again? Probably, but not entirely confident that I would without further investigation of the alternatives. Only time will tell, but it does seem very well made.
Got this as I’ve moved to the country, no street lights or paths, put it in the front garden and it’s brilliant, lights up the whole area, considering one for the rear now.
Fitted above garage door to light drive up, very bright. Found motion detection to be very strong and turned it down, works perfectly well for my needs. It is a very bright white light and does what I require.
This is a very good motion sensor light, it’s compact and sturdy. I particularly liked the built in sensor. It’s throws out a good light. Really pleased with it.
Gives off great light. Fitted at the front of the house and thought it was only fair on the neighbours to aim the light downwards – a lot!
Solid build. Sensor works great. No negatives, if I was being hyper critical, not sure why they made the holes on the mounting rail bigger than a screw head, I used a washer to combat this minor obsticle.
I bought this to replace a cheaper light bought from Screwfix which had turned into an aquarium as the water protection was clearly not good enough. Initial impressions are good – it is a solid well made light with a strong bracket and much higher quality that my previous light. Fitting was easy replacing my previous light and took 10 minutes. I set the sensitivity to maximum as it is mounted about 3.5m off the ground and it works perfectly with a good bright light. Now I just need to wait to if it is reliable and lives up to its IP66 rating.
I really like this light as it was easy to fit, the light can easily be move up or down, the senor has three switchable adjustable settings timer, sensor, light etc and the sensor can be swivelled to suit.
The light output is really very good, much more light than i expected.
Good powerful light with a decent cord length supplied. Only up and down (vertical) adjustments possible with the mounting bracket, no side angle (horizontal). I had to bend the bracket to achieve the position I wanted slightly askew to the flat wall.
PIR has decent range and can be adjusted in almost all directions. Not played with LUX settings too much, have mine only come on at night. Would be nice to have an override to make it stay on all the time when outside but for the price I’m happy.
Not as easy to install as other lights, the wire is connected directly to the circuit board rather than a junction box like others, so to be extra safe I had an electrician fit it for me.
Otherwise it’s great. It give off a lovely white light rather then the yellow hue others have.

Very large mounting holes which needed adaptation for my location, with was replacing another type. So far it is good. My experience with now nearly 10 similar LED floodlights is that the LED arrays fail after around 18 months almost as soon as they are out of warranty. So, I could not class LED floodlights in general as good value for money. We shall see how this one goes!
Once the lamp was installed it was easy to set and it provided a very bright light. First of all the lamp is advertised as IP66 when it is in fact IP65. It does say that no fitting kit is provided, but I think that it should have one as the wall bracket holes are very large. It remains to be seen how durable this item is but so far so good.
Bought with a junction box so i could use existing lead from old light to connect to this new unit….both arrived well packaged by amazon, however the led light original packaging had a hole in the side of the box where the adjustment side nut of the bracket had been squashed through, was all ok though….fitment was straight forward, however,when fitting to your wall you’ll probaby have a problem adjusting the light to an angle so you can get your power drill, or hand held screwdriver to it when attaching the unit to the wall to get to the actual screws that go through the bracket into the wall. The light tilts fine, so you can adjust to any angle for your garden, but just doesn’t give you quite enough room,when securing to the wall, in the end i used a mini socket wrench with a pz drive head to do the job, an alternative would be to take the light off the bracket and then connect that way, but more time dismantling when it should just be an easy fix….but all good. Another thing to be aware of is the size of the holes on the wall mounting bracket for the screws to go through, they are massive, would suggest you’ll need washers to reduce the size as without these a normal screwhead just goes straight the the mounting hole. The light works fine, lights up the whole of my 36ft x 36ft garden,to almost daylight brightness, would recommend, but be aware of the points detailed above before fitting.
Product works well. Lights up the area outside a large garage and also a 50 foot drive.

A good light .The cord is a bit short .the controls are rubbish[tiny moulded black plastic] almost impossible to read without a magnifie

Easy to install, plenty of cable so no problem connecting it up. Light is brighter than the old 400w security light that we used to have.

Electrician installed it quickly, very bright light but if has to be cery dark before it came on.
Disappointed it couldnt be switched on manually.
