That much power will trip out your phase at regular home, recommend connecting it to Cooker socket as that one should be able to take more Wattage at once, thou don’t use it with cooker switched on. Beware that the unit once ON consumes electricity so better connect it trough timed switch off socket plug, so it switches off automatically after you use it. Other than it’s a brilliant device.
I tried to plug this into my main socket and the electricity kept going off! Had to send back for a refund!!! (Update on previous review) when I got my refund I spoke to the company that makes this unit and they got in touch with me. I took a chance and ordered another unit(same unit) and it’s working fine now. The company was really helpful and any questions I had were answered quickly.
Needed to convert three US 110v devices (300w photography flashes) to UK 240v. Everything worked perfectly even when the the power draw would spike REALLY high for a couple of seconds.
Only problem I had was the house RCD trips every time I turn the unit on if ANY of the US sockets had a device plugged in, even if the individual devices was turned off. The workaround was to turn the transformer on first, then plug in the individual power cords. Possibly it’s just something unique to my little world.

The U.S. plug sockets were very very stiff to use for first few times but now just a good secure tight fit
The front panel where the sockets are is a bit Flexi when you are pulling plugs out but using 2 hands and just keeping it in place does the trick nicely
At first we thought the sockets too small for our American gadgets so my husband used an adapter just in case but I just really pushed them into the sockets and they are spot on now!

Had to buy one of these as we purchased a US robot vac. Been using it for over three days now and the device doesn’t make a sound and the electric use is quite low according to our smart meter. Will definitely recommend anyone who has a US appliance that they wish to use in the UK to invest in one of these bad boys.
Works well with a Balmuda toaster that we bought from Japan.
This is one of the smaller ones in the market. I like that the top corners have rounded edge.

Bought a hoover from USA and use this to operate hoover.
Great in my home recording studio because it doesn’t may any sound as others do.

No noise whatsoever and doing the job. I use it for my ps4. Love it.
Arrived very promptly and does the job that I wanted.
I bought it for a US food processor which burned 2 adaptor fuse. But it works perfectly with this item. The only thing is a bit too big and heavy
