The book light is an excellent product, very functional, easy-to-use, and inexpensive. I am very happy with it.
However, and there is a big however, the product arrived in Guernsey on Friday November 11th to be delivered by Evri. It was finally delivered at 17.01 on Saturday 19th. This is the second time within a month that Evri has taken more than five day to deliver a package. Extremely poor service by this delivery company.
As a big reader prone to read in preferred low light, this wee light a boon to my eyes. Can be fixed to book or better still adjacent arm of chair to enjoy books and be kinder to my eyes Needs narrow arm of inch or under to fix, otherwise attach to book.
So useful. Charges quickly then lasts for ages. Allows easy reading in the dark, clips onto book and away you go. 3 levels of light. Also handy for any room when you don’t want to turn on the light. Great to take on holiday too and brilliant for reading on a long flight. Recommended.
Better than a big lamp fits easily on any book
I liked to read in bed to get me to sleep. I had to leave the light on but now I can read with the low light and my Husband can get to sleep. Win Win all round.
There are 3 or 4 depths of light and you can move it around to suit yourself. I would recommend.

It has 3 different brightness settings that you can choose from. One is white bright, second one is white and mire toned down and then a yellow toned and soft. Good reading light.

Although small, the light kicks out plenty of brightness, and allow you to carry on with reading, doing puzzles, or whatever else you may wish to do in the dark .

Great reading light. Unlike others I’ve had in the past, it lights the whole page making it much easier to read. Battery life seems very good.
Very pleased with this product. I use it for night time reading. It clips on my books well and can be twisted to different angles. The choice of light types and brightness is great. I’ve had it a few weeks now and use it most nights and haven’t had to charge it yet.

This is a great reading light but could be used for anything and the battery lasts ages between charges.
Never had one of the before but couldn’t do without it now. Fantastic for night reading and also as a night light in general.
I have this clipped to my bed side table. I also use it for going up in the loft. And when I needed a light under my sink when I was plumbing in my dishwasher!
My first reaction was – it’s so small! I have had a battery powered reading light that I lost in a house move. This little chap does the job really well. You can clip onto the book you are reading and the three coloured light settings are useful.

Really is very bright. Lights up the entire room so you have to twist it and turn it to get the light just in your book. Husband wants to take it night fishing reckons he cam light the entire beach. Charges quickly and seems to hold the charge for weeks at a time
Best investment I’ve ever made. I love this light so much, it completely changed my reading experience. There are 3 light settings, my favourite is the yellow tone since it’s soft and easy on the eye. The clip is wide and grips a lot of pages, stays nice and put. The cord is very flexible and bendy. All in all it’s a great product!
After seeing the reviews went ahead and bought one to read at night. I am so glad I did as it’s excellent. My little boy loves it too as a light – really bright and well worth the money. Battery live is excellent too, well worth the buy.

Everything is excellent, but I just wish you could reduce the brightness even lower. The minimum setting is still a little too bright but I’m sure I can live with that.
I love this reading light – it not only lights up the page I’m reading but it can be bent to hold the page in place at the same time. It’s flexible but holds its position. Well worth the money!

Beautifully made to last a long time, its battery life is amazing, the light so versatile with the various intensities.
One small request to its manufacturer is please give us a higher quality Type-C input because these days, Micro is getting really rather old.

The product started off good but it stopped charging after 2/3 months. It seemed to have swollen and won’t charge. I’d like to receive a replacement ASAP.

I’ve bought 3 to date 2 for myself and one as a present . I have a white one and a black one. Choice of colour of light is excellent as it ability to dim or brighten the light. Lightweight so doesn’t weight your book down and saves having the bedside lamp on that can disturb a partner who is wanting to sleep whilst you read.
Lits up the whole room. Might as well put your Bedside light on.
Fab product. Attach this above my headboard for reading/soft lighting at night. Also used for my son on an airplane and on holidays as a nightlight for him.

Surprisingly great light. I bought it for my 7 years old daughter who reads in her bed every evening before going to sleep. This light is great, she can adjust the power, it is not too bright, but not too weak either. Battery life quite good, charges quickly. Really pleased with this product.
Good selection of light modes, have yet to lay in bed in dark using it for my book. Only gave it 4 stars as it’s mainly rubber which I’m allergic to

I bought this for reading at night in my camper van.
This light is very impressive.
It clips to anything and the adjustable stalk is very flexible.
You can adjust the brightness and colour temperature of the the beam of light to suit your preferences.
I have just been away for 3 weeks using the light every night for reading and not had to charge the battery yet. Still showing half charged.
I also clip the light to the curtain in my camper van at night to use as a “bedside lamp” to save putting the big bright lights on.
Very impressed with this light.
This has four modes, the dimmest yellow light mode is just right for reading at night. It would be even better if this mode could be custom dimmed (the white light mode is too bright at dimmest setting, only the yellow works at night).
I had to return the Aerson reading light which was a single mode and too bright for someone else sleeping in the room.
Have tried a few different book lights, which eventually get taken by the kids or lost! This one is still in daily use so has done well for longevity.
It’s bright enough and the three different lighting colours are a bonus as everyone’s eyes react differently to different light settings. Easy to charge and the battery life is reasonable. Only real criticism would be that the power/ function button is surprisingly fiddly and indented from the back of the light, which can be a pain if you’re trying to turn it on in the dark! Other than that, well worth the money.
This light is so useful! I’ve used it attached to my sewing machine, as a book light and also to knit and hand sew by. My daughter has used it to draw by – we fight over it 🙂 I like the different colours and brightnesses you can choose and the battery seems to last forever. Would absolutely buy this again.
Great little light. The lamp is smaller than I expected but the 3 modes cast a good amount of light, more than adequate to read by. I prefer the warm light as a bit gentler on the eyes setting but setting each is good. The lamp feels robust with good flexibility and easily manipulated. Clip feels secure on the bed headboard but can also attach to a larger book. Charging was quick.
Good points:
– The light clips nicely onto my books and stays in place
– The battery lasts well. You can get through a book and still have charge.
– There’s an easy to see indicator for battery level remaining
– 3 different light settings, as well as adjustable dimming on each if you hold the button down
– Brightness is great and lights my book pages perfectly
– Adjustable arm means I can get the perfect position for the light
– It also clips nicely onto my monitor to provide additional lighting on my office workspace
Negatives
– It doesn’t remember your light settings when you turn it off
– You have to cycle through light settings to turn off
Would I buy it again? Yes (although hopefully it will last long enough that I don’t need to)
I really could not ask for anything more in a book light. It’s lightweight, extremely flexible, and has a strong (but easy to squeeze) clip for attaching to books. The three light settings are perfect and give a degree of choice, depending on your reading preferences. What really impressed me enough to write a review, though, is the battery life. The battery lasted so long on the first charge I actually forgot it was USB-charged and started trying to figure out which replacement battery to buy. When I examined it and saw the tiny USB port on the side, I felt very silly. But then I was even more impressed, because the charge had lasted so long. I’m tempted to go ahead and buy another as a backup, just in case, because it’s a keeper. But somehow I don’t think it will wear out any time soon. It’s great value for the money.
This product exceeded my expectations. It’s bright throughout the different lights and holds a charge really well. I like how I can change the brightness of each one.
The grip is good and doesn’t easily slip and the bendy neck works wonderfully, it doesn’t droop and is completely flexible.
I use it for night time reading and my partner uses it for paint by numbers so works fabulously standing on a flat surface too.

Nifty little product! I needed a reading light that could attach to a book and was a bonus if it could attach to the thick headboard. This did the trick. I didn’t realise how flexible the lighting cable was which made it incredibly useful for all the various sitting and laying positions you find yourself in when reading a book.
Good choice of lighting mode and brightness, the yellow option means I can read a book while the other half is asleep.
The small blue dots on the clip indicating the battery life is a handy function too. Good purchase, would also make a good useful gift so will keep it in mind.
In all senses of the word this little light is brilliant! The design, the quality and its versatility all help to make this a perfect buy at a brilliant, value for money price. I only bought it in the hope that it would be good enough for bedtime reading so as not to disturb others but it has well exceeded expectations. The fact that it can actually stand alone as a little lamp with its very stable foot pad is a bonus. Could work very well as a nightlight on its lowest setting for a child or an invalid. Great purchase!
Bought this to use in the car so I can read while I’m waiting for my daughter to do her numerous clubs and activities. So far so good! I managed to clip it to the steering wheel. Easy to bend the neck to position it just right and it stays in place without drooping. Has a lot of light settings which are easy to adjust and with it being USB I can charge it from my cigarette lighter adapter while I drive about so no forgetting to take it indoors to charge (although it came fully charged so I haven’t had to do this yet). Really pleased with it.
It’s reasonably priced, well made, compact and lightweight; with multiple light and brightness settings.
It clips easily and securely to my paperbacks or hardbacks, with excellent flexibility.

Charging shows a red light and 4 blue charge indicators which when all 4 are lit shows it is fully charged. when in use the 4 blue lights decrease in number as the charge decreases. Charged with a micro USB B phone charger which is not supplied but just about everyone has one. or charge from a USB port on a PC or Laptop.
A lady was asking if it could be used a a light for a cooker hob. In my opinion it is not really bright enough but I have taken another video in the dark to show more how the light operates in the dark.
Brought this as like to read in bed but my other half states he can’t get to sleep with light on hence the purchase love that its rechargeable, and its light weight and like that you can change the brightness which is brilliant and not seen this before battery life is excellent I use it for 3-4 hrs per night and done this for 3 days now and not had to recharge but have had it on the lowest setting would definetly recommend this product as not that expensive for a rechargeable product.
Edit: Popped the front off and found the strip of LEDs had just popped loose from the plastic clips. Secured it with a little super glue and replaced the cover and now all good!
This little light is so useful. It can stand on its on base or clip onto things. I use to give extra light over art projects I’m working on or whilst studying at desk but it’s also handy to clip onto cupboard doors etc if you instead of holding a torch if your doing an odd job or whatever.
The flexible wire thing is great and you can direct light wherever you need it. Good variation in brightness levels. Lightweight, portable worth the money. Charges through a use cable which comes in box and goes from phone to laptop/desktop or you can put your own wall plug adaptor on to charge from mains directly.

In the second review the light seemed to be having problems with the battery but it turned out not to be a battery issue, it was just the charging cable that was faulty. I tried a different cable and it’s now back to being brilliant.
I can and do recommend this little rechargeable reading light. Good value, nice design and well made, with good battery life.
Altogether very impressed. I have several books on the go and now I can finish them whilst bedridden due to ill health. Happy girl!
It reminds me of the little lamp dentists use (lol). The cable that holds the light feels very gummy but it is very sturdy at the same time (for something gummy).
