Smart Programming

When we built our house, the cabinet guy convinced my wife to build a cabinet for the refrigerator, it would look nicer he said. It does look nicer but on the hot summer days, the heat buildup in the cabinet results in the refrigerator being unable to cool the contents. (The cabinet meets the clearance specs provided by the manufacturer). I used one of these fans to help evacuate the excess heat and the problem is solved. I found that the T8-N must be installed upside down (blown air into the cabinet and flush heat underneath the refrigerator) as the refrigerator has a feeble fan that evacuates towards the floor. The fan is not as quiet as they claim (38 db maybe at level 6 but not level 10) but this fan solved the problem.

This item is loaded with quality and features more than any other product I found at a similar price point.

The only thing I can think that would make it better is to have a optional remote mountable control panel. In my situation the fans are not easily accessible and having the remote be able to be mounted even 6 feet away would make it so much nicer.

EDIT: Looks like I could have bought the T7 and gotten the remote controller. Oh well.

This is a great product. I needed a solution to help with a humidity problem in the room above a crawlspace. The crawlspace is vented to the outside but the airflow is very weak. When I opened the AirTitan it struck me that it was packaged much like an Apple product. Very carefully and thoughtfully packed with everything necessary for installation in a variety of situations. All I had to do was drill 4 holes in the concrete block around the vent and install the new fans. Very simple. Once I connected power and the temperature/humidity probe, the display showed the current environment. Programming was straightforward and problem free. The fans are set to come on when my humidity or temperature levels exceed my settings. The airflow through this fan is set to level 7 (out of 10) and it is perfect for my situation.

The product is attractive (too bad it is in a crawlspace) and is well built. Since I’ve only had it for a couple of days I can’t speak for longevity but the company provided information on how to contact their Customer Service Department for support.

Don’t hesitate to buy this product. I’ll buy more for the other areas of our home in the near future.

Works great, mounted easily. Accidentally bought the -intake- version when I needed an -exhaust- fan. Secret Pro-Tip: all you gotta do is open this thing up and flip the fans over and presto! Now it’s an exhaust fan! Working perfectly…

I have an unfinished basement that stays very dry and a finished basement that can get condensation and mold, thus I wanted to exchange air between the two. I purchased two of these — one blowing in, one blowing out and installed them in the door between the two basements. Problems solved. The fans are quiet and move air pretty good. I have not programmed them yet so I am not sure how easy it is to do so. NOTE: the fans are NOT REVERSIBLE so make sure you get the right one.

I had to flip the fan blades so the air would move in the right direction – what was super easy to do. I installed this T8-N fan in my attic over my garage. I recently installed a 2-ton air conditioner to cool the garage and the attic above it is now sealed with Foam Seal. Since the attic over the garage has to be separated from the attic over the house due to building codes, I needed a way to get air flow through this space, so I added one passive vent in one corner of the garage and the T8-N fan unit in the opposite corner.

Suggestions for Air Titan:
1. Build it so the display portion is reversible so I could see it without having to go into the attic.
2. Provide two ports for the sensor and the power. This would allow more options for the installer.

I did add a piece of 9/16″ plywood over the drywall due to the high humidity where I live. I plugged the fan into the same outlet for the garage door opener and ran the power cable to the fan through the hole the contractor made for the garage door opener sensor wires. So far, it’s working well; should be interesting to see how it works this summer.

Nice fan system; high quality unit; could use some minor design changes

This is second AC Infinity fan I have purchased. The first is a 6″ duct fan with smart controls like this one. Been in service over a year. Both work flawlessly and this intake fan has been in service at least 3 months. I have this intake fan mounted in an underpinning panel for crawlspace ventilation. Has made a positive change in air quality in crawl space. I have it on a 24 hour timer where it will shut off for 1 hour set it and forget it. These fans are reliable will order again in future if needed. Phillip

I used this wall mount fan in my basement that I had converted into a laundry room. There was too much humidity which caused a rather nasty odor. This fan helped bring in outside air which lowered the humidity by 12%. It is very quiet at speeds 1 thru 6. The fan turns on by itself when the humidity rises. Installation was challenging cause my window was larger than the face plate. I had to construct a wood frame to help hold it onto the window.

Great product, well worth the cost. I am using mine in a cabinet to keep my stereo receiver cool. Heat is the number one killer of electronics..with this fan I am able to keep my stereo receiver at a constant 76.

I bought this for my workshop in the barn. I was having a problem with humidity. In fact, some of my tools were starting to show signs of surface rust. Installed in about 20 minutes. I had to cut into my workshop wall to mount. Very easy to get up and running. Lots of options on how the device (AirTitan) can run. I left the unit in Auto mode High Humidity. So far, it seems to be doing the job.

I’ve had odor problems in my 50 year old crawlspace since I bought the house. Circulating the air with a regular fan didn’t really help. I have purchased 4 of these fans, 2 to pull air into the crawlspace and 2 to push old stagnant air out of the crawlspace. Unbelievable difference in the air quality in my crawlspace by doing this. The most amazing aspect of these fans is that you can install them with the controls facing the space or facing out of space where you can see the controls. You can unscrew the face plate, flip the fan blades if you need to change the direction of the fans. And they are pretty weather proof, but not freeze proof, so just remove the fan in the winter. Installation is very easy, they fight perfectly between 16″ on center wall studs. It took about 10 minutes per fan to install them. What an amazing manufacturer this is; product works very well, and is easy to install, not to mention how nice they look on the siding.

Decent fan, not much different from their other designs. I like their controllers and sensors, it works well once you learn how to use it properly. I think there’s very little improvements that needs to be made for this product, however I would like to see if they can make a version with the controllers that can mounted somewhere else. This would be helpful for me.

I want to express my appreciation for a product of this level of quality. It is well made and easy to use for me. I use it right now in my mobile home and it’s able to circulate air like no other. It’s controls shows a very nice and easy to read display with buttons that are self-explanatory. Overall, a nice, yet must have product.

I purchased this three months ago, and I’ve been waiting to see how it does over a longer period of time. So far so good, I am very happy to report that the fan has no issues and is working as intended. It does exactly what it says and I’m glad I went with this one over the others on amazon. I found the fans to be a little noisy when it’s a max speed but if you run the fan at lower speeds, just be sure to run it a longer and you’ll be able to get the same amount of air circulating that way.

These are mounted to the side of my wall that has moisture building up for a long time now. I’ve long had this issue and could not find a solution until I tried these fans out. The controllers gives you information on the humidity and it lets you choose the speed settings that you want to have them turned on and off. The fans are designed in a way to do well in really moist environment so don’t worry about getting them wet. One happy customer here, thanks for suggesting this Amazon.

These are just the fans that you need to dehumidifying your room. The fan is well protected by stainless steel plates. The controls are well made and the fans are designed for really wet moisture intense rooms. After a few weeks of use, my room was much easier to breath and there’s just no more odors.

This fan looks like any other fan out there but the temperature and humidity sensor works pretty well. The smart controller were easy to use and learn and the ventilation in my room has gotten much better now after installation. Good so far but after 12 months of humidity heavy environment we will see how it performs.

5 Stars so far. It is very intuitive and user friendly. I didn’t even have to read the manual to figure out the programming and options. I don’t have a crawlspace, I am actually using this in my garage to cool it down since I have side holes that look like crawlspace vents.
