Bought this with a little skepticism, although it works brilliantly! I wouldn’t put my body weight on it, but it holds large, full coffee mugs and cans without protest. In fact, I think the air vents on my car would fail before the cup holder does, although I doubt that will actually happen. The only downside is that it’s hard to adjust the direction of air flow once the cupholder is fitted, although this shouldn’t be as much of a problem if you fit it to the bottom slat of the vent. Overall a great product, especially for the price!
