Wanted a 2nd cordless for upstairs. Bits of fluff from joggers, socks etc stick to my stupidly bought beige wool carpet like glue. My Dyson v8 animal works OK on them but my corded shark is best but bulky so that’s being made redundant and wanted a cheaper lightweight cordless to sit in upstairs cupboard for when needed. No plug there so wanted a separate battery charging hoover. Bought a shark first which was too heavy for arthritic wrist and refused to pick bits up without boost on. Sent it back and settled on this one but expectations were low. For 69.99 it picked up all fluff, was lightweight and the battery charged fully in 2hrs. Yes it’s not separate from head but easily charged then popped on hoover and shoved in cupboard til needed. Aluminium stick and clicks in place. Awkward to get fluff off filter guard but I use an old toothbrush. Obviously not as well made as my Dyson but for 4 x less price I’m quite impressed. Just hope it lasts
Very pleased with this purchase. After a substantial amount of online research I went for the Akitas V8 cordless vacuum cleaner. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. It is light, easy to manoeuvre, it has a high speed power button. Assembly was straightforward and it charges at a fast rate. It is a quality item at an affordable price. Speedy delivery made for a very satisfied customer.
I don’t usually write reviews but this definitely warrants it. I purchased as I was looking for something light weight for my static caravan and it’s absolutely brilliant. I have ordered others in the past and none of them have the power or keep the charge like this does. It feel like really good quality, very light weight and makes hoovering really easy. It’s that good I’m considering getting one for home. I have only charged it once so far and it hasn’t lost any of the charge yet. This would also be good for anyone who struggles with the weight of a normal vaceasy to set up and easy to clean, I can’t be believe how much it picks up
Really delighted with this hoover. Suction really good and very easy to manoeuver. Very light. Having struggled with a Henry for years, hoovering is now a doddle.Very easy to empty. Was surprised at how much it had cleaned the carpet. Won’t stand up on its own unless you dismantle the handle part but I have just propped it against the wall in the hall.Very good price too.
I’ve gotten to the age that lugging the Dyson up and down the stairs is more than a chore and with minimal carpets down stairs I wanted something lightweight and easy to use, to quickly whizz around I’m obsessed with my new toy! It charges relatively quickly and on full power mode the suction is awesome, (you know when it lifts the carpet, leaving freshly vacuumed marks) i easily go from room to room, hard floor to carpet.
With the nozzle attachment, I can get into corners and it’s great for the stairs. Today I’m going to use it in my car. This great cordless vacuum cleaner, ticks all the boxes for me. It’s as good as the vax cordless I use at work but half the price.
Light enough for quick clean ups, would not want to do a whole house with it, but room by room taking a rest between it’s easy to handle and not too heavy.
Impressed with the (head)light, and motorised roller (for the money).
Could use a bit more suck – I always use it in turbo mode but some stubborn pet hairs, etc take a few runs at to shift.
Love seeing how much dirt it has removed through the visible dust container.
Easy to empty – and I recommend you empty it after each use to keep it’s sucking power up.
Pros:
It’s very lightweight, has a cut-out system if you snarl something in the roller, lifts cat hairs out of thick & thin pile carpets/rugs, has a decent charge life and is very good value for money.
Cons:
Feels a little clumsy on the stairs and the charger cable isn’t particularly long.
Overall though very I’m pleased with the purchase and will definitely like-for-like replace it when it does finally pack in.
Bought to replace an expensive Dyson and really thrilled with the quality and versability of this product.
At least 3 times less than a Dyson and much more versatile. Bargain of the year!!
It’s great. Everything as in description. Good power in it. Works good on the carpet too. Very easy to clean. Charges in 3 hours or so. And lasts one hour which is enough for me.
The delivery for this item was quicker than I assumed, was handled with care by the curior. Very easy to use, at least 3 clicks to put it together and I was away! Would highly recommend

Looks like a Dyson, less glitch than a Dyson so far. Not quite as powerful but it’s a fraction of the price. Picks up just fine and the battery lasts far longer than Dyso
I’ve only had it for the past two days, but it works well so far. The suction is good, and it is easy to put it together and use it. I will say, the swivel head is a bit weak in that it doesn’t move much, or easily, but overall the vacuum works perfectly fine.
This Hoover is small but mighty! Picks up a lot, great value for money.
Can put away neatly, no crazy wires so can move around easy, it’s hoover stairs with no fuss too so definitely portable too!
I purchased this as an easy way to keep on top of cat hairs on a hard floor and I’m pleased to say, it’s perfect. It’s not got the greatest suction, but for the money, I’m not complaining. I’d give it 5 stars if the suction was that of a Dyson, but realistically it’s a quarter of the price. Pleased with my purchase and would recommend as a second, daily, hoover.
I bought another cordless Hoover with similar specifications but more expensive, thinking that probably will be better, but it stopped working after the first charge, I was completely disappointed. So I sent it back and thankfully Amazon refunded me, then I decided to try that one, if it was another failure it won’t hurt so much. But I was gladly surprised, it work nicely, lightweight, easy to clean and maintain. As I said the best shopping of the year.

It isn’t the most powerful hoover, but for the price it does the job! We have mainly wooden floors so it is perfect for these. Probably wouldn’t be powerful enough for a carpet if you have pets, but it is ideal for what we need. Charge lasts a reasonable amount of time.
Fantastic value for money. Having had 2 Dyson handhelds in the past, both of which eventually had problems with charging and holding charges, I went for this as a matter of curiosity as it was so well priced. It can’t match the Dyson for ergonomics or cosmetic build quality, but it matches and improves upon every other area. Excellent.
Purchased just for my conservatory but use downstairs as all tiled floors but I have used it on my stairs as so lightweight, tried it on my bedroom carpet but hard work as I have a thick piled carpet. I would recommend this product to anyone and such great value.
I have also bought the Shark Stratos 400 model which is slightly heavier so I use that downstairs. This cheaper one was a fifth of the price of the Shark!
This cleaner is good on laminate flooring and tiles. Needs to be put on max power for carpets and rugs. Easy to use, sits unobtrusively in the corner on charge.
Improvements would be anti hair wrap cleaning head (family memers have long hair) and perhaps a stair tool.
Summary, lightweight, easy to use, run time has been fine but used mainly on normal power – max as you would expect saps the battery faster, so for me with mainly hard floors, this works well for me.
Detatched the device is good for vacuuming around coving and getting rid of cobwebs. Attached the vacuum deals well with cleaning laminate and short pile carpet.
When stowing the vacuum its not very stable which probably wont matter if stowing out of sight.
Overall does the job well and cheaper alternative to big brands.
It’s is fantastic at picking up hair but because it’s so easy to clean and take care of – this isn’t an issue.
I would prefer the handheld connection to be a bit more robust when tackling heavier jobs like stairs and carpet edges.
My other issue is that the battery charge doesn’t last too long. I can’t compare this to a Dyson but you get about 30mins of continual use before you have to charge it again – which can become a problem for bigger houses/jobs. Or if like me you forget to put it back on charge after use.
I would recommend.
my hoover didnt come with the short suction brush accessory and when placing the hoover against walls,
if the hoover was to fall down it can leave a blue paint residue on the wall. However this is relatively easy to wipe down. Biggest issue is the missing brush which is show in the product photos
Watching family using cordless vacuum cleaner inspired me to purchase one.
Not the cheapest on market, this cleaner has to be cleaned after use, definitely by third usage.
It’s convenient, handy and pretty straightforward to assemble and use, a 15 minute task.
I think this particular cleaner would struggle with cleaning a large house, for the purpose i want it for, its reasonable.
Basic and does pretty much what it says, ideal for cleaning up the areas i need it for.

I had been looking for a cordless vacuum cleaner for my house for a while when i stumbled upon this one. My parents have a dyson at their house, which i could definitely not afford on my salary. However, this product, which i have been using for almost 5 months now, is as good as the dyson vacuum cleaner. This thing runs for a GOOD while before it discharges. Lovely suction power as well. The sound it makes isnt too loud either. Would recommend 10/10!
