INSTRUCTION FOR THE CONTROL BOX
1. Display
Shows the detector’s operating status and relevant information.
2. “ALL/DISC†Button
Used to switch between All-Metal mode and Discrimination mode.
3. “DISC†Knob
Used in metal object type identification/discrimination when in Discrimination mode.
4. “SENS†Knob
Used to turn on or off the detector as well as to adjust detection sensitivity. Turn this “SENS†Knob clockwise to increase the detection sensitivity or turn it counterclockwise to decrease the detection sensitivity.
CAUTION: When turning a knob, turn it lightly. Never use excessive force; otherwise damage may occur.

My grandson loves this.Keeps him busy on weekends on this beach.
Easy to assemble and seems to be able to detect as described.
This detector works perfectly.
I worried about many false alarms but we didn’t have one until now. If the alarm goes off, we always find something.
You start on all-mode, with the alarm going off on anything related to metal. After that you choose ‘SENS’ mode which should allow you to determine what kind of metal caused the alarm to go off. However this ‘SENS’ mode doesn’t work very well, often peeping on all 3 modes (3, 12 and 9 o’clock). After some time we decided to skip that mode because when detecting something it’s more advisable to dig than to discriminate on what you want to find.
We didn’t find anything of value yet but in the end the law of statistics is gonna catch up 🙂
We’re back in Hong Kong now; eager to continue the search.
