So far so good used for swimming and it does the job and is still working.
Good app easy to use and wea
i am happy with this band, only sometimes is loosing the connection with telephone (huawei), otherwise is a great produc
Decent watch & app. Works well for me. Fairly accurate measurement of heart, sleep and fitness activity (watch relies on phone location and data, so as long you have good signal then fitness readings should be quite accurate). Good and stable Bluetooth connection. Weather and media notification works well (need to grant wide range of app permissions). As with any wrist fitness tracker, reading should be taken just as a guideline and not as 100% accurate. Battery after 1 year use still good
Good piece of kit unless you work shifts or have a sleep disorder where you sleep outside ‘nornal’ or daywalker times.
If you sleep during the day this tracker will kit recognise this as ‘sleep’. It is recorded as a nap.
Not good for anyone with N24, DPSD or any sleep disorder or those working shift patterns.
Come on guys. This should be an easy fix.
I was looking for a fitness tracker watch which could track heart rate, sleep, steps and also receive notifications and alarms. This watch does all that and slightly more.
Heart rate:- I have compared this to a samsung smart watch and it gave almost exact same results so I’d say it is accurate. It takes a reading every 5 mins unless you active a workout activity where it constantly tracks heart rate while the activity is being carried out. Based on your heart rate during the workout, it can be classed as relaxed, light, intensive, aerobic, anaerobic, VO2 max.
Step counter:- I have compared the step tracker to several other devices including my phone and it seems to be fairly accurate and they all gave approx same results. It doesn’t give elevation but does give distance which when linked with the app is very accurate.
Sleep tracker:- I am not sure how accurate this is as it doesn’t track REM sleep at all, but does track heart rate every 5 mins as I sleep. It seems to be quite reliable in judging when I go to bed and get up although if I lie still for long enough, eg. to watch TV, it thinks I’ve taken a nap.
Notifications/alarms:- gives notification if I’ve been sitting too long, and if my heart rate is too high. The limits for these can be altered in the app. ie if i’ve been sitting for longer than 30mins or if my heart rate goes over 100 bpm. I think the heart rate notification isn’t very relevant but I have noticed it vibrate during a meeting, watching a film, etc so during things which I could be nervous or excited about. Maybe it’s just for awareness or stress relief, not sure really. Alarms can be set on the app, including one off and recurring. There is a snooze and off option when the alarm goes off.
Workouts:- There are only 11 preset workouts but one of these includes freestyle which I have found to be very good for any type of activity to measure heart rate. I have used it in the swimming pool with no problems. It doesn’t automatically start or track a workout but it is very easy to start and stop on the watch. activities include walking, treadmill, outdoor running, indoor and outdoor cycling, elliptical, rowing machine, yoga, jump rope, pool swimming and freestyle
Other features:- SpO2 (blood oxygen levels), stress, menstrual cycles, breathing activities (to lower heart rate), find device (I have found this very handy when I can’t find my phone), timer/stopwatch, and it can connect with alexa for music, events, etc
Overall for the price, and the fact you don’t have to subscribe monthly, the watch and the app are very very good and I would recommend to anyone interested in a fitness tracke
Had a similar ‘Amazon fitness band’ which had a USB plug designed into the actual band…bad news as 18 months down the line it disintegrated. I purposely chose this as it has a separate magnetic charge/plug cable, so no need to keep ‘breaking off’ that strap! (what a terrible idea anyway…asking for trouble). Another reason for choosing this was as I don’t want a device that constantly pings away and connects at all times with my phone, too much trouble & not good for battery life.
Used this thing for a few months now and battery lasts for 4 or more weeks! I use steps ever day, workout feature (manually) 3-4 times a week for 45-60 mins and still goes on for 4-5 weeks! Just what I was looking for! One little suggestion, it would be great to add ‘weights’ as a workout option, currently I’m choosing ‘freestyle’ as the closest option, still provides all the data anyway. App is absolutely fine, it does what it says on a tin & updates 10 times quicker than my old one did.
I performed some extensive research prior to getting this and can say it beats all the competition in this category by a long distance!
The steps are perfect, but the sleep tracking is one day every few days (more like every 5 days). If you want this for sleep tracking it’s not reliable. I only got it for the steps and this bit works well. Didn’t look/use much of the rest. I love the breathing exercice function that is integrated also.
