This product is what it is, glamour, it isn’t, durability, it does protect your Apple Watch better than the straps supplied with the watch and the whole thing is one piece so the head unit of the watch just seats in the head part of this watch strap from the back so once on your wrist the Apple Watch can’t fall out.
Comfort, it’s not that supple and is noticeable while wearing and the strap doesn’t allow air flow so things can get a bit damp under the watch head and strap while working and in this unprecedented weather but then I guess most watch straps can be like that.
Charging with the Apple Watch Mag Charger, other reviews are correct it will not sit directly on the Mag Charger, unless you put a heavy book on it, but, if you actually lay the watch on the opposite side to the crown button on the watch there is this small metal plate/clip and the watch will sit on its side on that and you can just put the Mag Charger on the back of the watch as normal albeit with the watch laying on its side and then the face of the watch will turn to be in the upright position to view during the night for checking the time, just like the phones if you rotate the phone from portrait to landscape the phone screen will adapt so does the screen on the Apple Watch.
Why only 4 stars, I’ve not had it long enough to warrant 5 stars and getting the male side of the strap to go through the female buckle, on the strap I have, can be tight as there’s not hardly any room for manoeuvre so it does have to go in square or it won’t go in at all. But all in all as I say it is what it is and seems to work well and you can still operate the factory functions of the Apple Watch the power button, the crown button selector and the functions on the screen itself.
