So first off I really really like this mug. It’s has all of the old school charm. The details are kinda bubbly and not hand carved. For sure made with a mold. When I got it I noticed a strange white powder in it but I washed it twice before my first use. The cap didn’t open enough for me so I tried to open it more and the thing broke right off. Oh well still a good mug I’ll hand place the cap when I want. That’s what you get for being lead free I suppose although I dont know I’m not a welder. Anyway I feel like a king. After a long days work it is fun to drink from this it makes me happy. I would suggest this to a friend. Remember of those waffle houses that sprang up in the late 90s? Its reminiscent of old Germany. The one that we all understand somehow in our subconscious and then we buy a mug like this and it’s like oh yeah I know and love this. Home.
I really thought i will look cheap but i gave it a try. And surprising looks very good. This is a present for a family friend. Really worth the money
