This water cooler is really easy to put together and gives you cold fresh water at the touch of a button. Really good value for money. Everyone should have cold fresh filtered water. Magic
Loved the cool water and flavour, slightly large so you need a space on your work top,but having said that it does make a huge difference to ordinary tap water.
Would not want to be without it now, really collects all the particles in the top tray, so you can enjoy clear cool refreshing water. Great knowing the rubbish stays there and does not enter your body 🙂
It is nice to have cold water all of the time it saves me quite a bit of money as I used to buy the bottles of water all of the time from the supermarke
Why didn’t I think of buying this. It’s economic the cool water temperature is perfect. Lovely design can’t fault this item. I have read here that it makes a lot of noise. People will always complain no matter what. It’s like putting on your fridge, if your fridge sound doesn’t bother you then this won’t. Very good buy, no more bottled water. I will make good savings too
I bought this product to replace a water filter jug which was taking up far too much room in the door of the fridge. It works nicely, if you want a cool filtered cup of water a few times throughout the day. It doesn’t chill the entire water capacity, as you will see from the other reviews, but for us (two people), it’s perfectly fine.
Make sure when you first get it that you follow the instructions to the letter, including washing all the plastic parts thoroughly, pushing water through the tap and rinsing out the filter. On top of that, I would recommend leaving the first batch of water until the light comes on to say it’s chilled then pouring it away. For me, this avoided the plastic/chemical taste which others have referred to. No issues since then.
The only reason I knocked off a star is because it would be better if it chilled more of the water at once.
Followed the instructions, relatively easy to set up, works well. Definitely drinking more water now, very happy.
I decided to buy this because my other machine I had got old and was used a lot. Definitely worth the money the build quality is better than my old one and its easier to clean looks neat in the kitchen. On the flavour subject it can taste a bit bland when its not had chance to cool I use the water machine at the gym and It tastes nicer and is a lot colder as its plummed in to the mains which Is the type of water machine I would ideally like but it would be to much hassle and costly but all in all If your particular like me and you like your water cold enough and pure then this one of best ones you can get though there is one other issue I have with it is it each time you use it it takes nearly an hour to get cold again where as the industrial ones stay cold throughout and don’t need refilling but for what I paid It’s a good buy.
Great water machine 5 star it replaced my old one. Had now 6 months not had a problem with it.. Says what it does on the ti
It very good purchase. I am very happy with the product. But the down side is it stop filtering the water. It was my first use in one month it stick 3 times. I have to pick the top, where the filter attached. Clean and washed under the tap to make it work. Also the filter I believe highly priced compare to Brita brand. Overall I am very pleased because I am living in 3 floor with no left. carrying heavy water bottle in 3rd floor replaced with small light cartridges
Super piece of kitchen equipment. Water tastes clean an cool. Somehow different.
Looks nice at the kitchen, very easy to use,but still has a plastic taste, which annoying…(using already for one week). Hope, it will dissapears soon…
Would never go back to drinking tap water after purchasing this, you can definitely smell and taste the difference as the toxins our water are pumped with are removed. Definitely recommend it. Only thing I’d ask them to change is the tape they use as it’s a nightmare to peel off the tanks, but that’s just effecting the aesthetics.
Fantastic product. Water tastes much better and is nicely chilled. I live in a hard water area and this has made a big difference.
This item is great, keeps the water very cold 24/7, be very good for the summer for a nice cold filtered cup of water, remember this cooler is just for water.
I’ve had this cooler for five months and I’m Very pleased with it the container for the water is large produces very cold water nice looking very well made quality produc
Fantastic very nice product. & I will be buying from them again. Many thanks. From Andrew.
Great tasting water, perfectly chilled temperature and easy to use. I had to exchange my first machine due to a minor issue and Amazon’s customer service was amazing. The second machine is absolutely perfect. We used to buy bottled water and this is the perfect solution for the environment. It looks great too, Highly recommended!
Love this product makes the water cold and just love it so much
Bought this for my parents, they love it, even use it to fill the kettle, lovely chilled filtered water at the push of a button, they will save money in the longrun as used to buy bottled water.
This is a great cooler and has got me drinking more water.
I love my chiller. The water tastes so nice and just the right temperature! very nice design and add a touch to your kitchen.
The only thing that annoys me is that it is not connected to the tap and it is has a small capacity. I keep filling it with water. If you have a big family or water lovers like me then you will be bored from filling it!
1) The instructions say to soak the filter and wash the plastic container first – don’t ignore this or you will get a plastic taste. I made this mistake and only washed the top container, not realising the big BOTTOM container comes off too. Wash both considerably under HOT water for a while, then wash again with cold water, dry the outside only of the containers and put back together.
2) If you are still getting a plastic taste, you can put a sterilising tablet (what you use to clean baby bottles, home brew etc) in the bottom tray. Leave for a while then run it through the internal pipes – keep the machine unplugged when you do this. Once done, I’d clean the tray again and run fresh water through the internal pipes about 5 times or so to remove any risidual.
3) The machine will work without power – just press the button, water comes out at ambient temperature. The power is needed to chill the water only.
4) The machine will make a little bit of noise when it is chilling the water – this last about an hour for me. The noise isn’t loud at all, no more loud than a normal fridge in the kitchen so doesn’t bother me at all. Once the water is cold, the blue light comes on the front and the chiller turns off anyway.
5) It seems to store plenty of water ice cold. I was worried it may only give a glass then the rest of the water would have to be cooled but there seems to be loads.
6) As some other reviewers mention, you have to hold the button in for the water to come out – if you have slower flow of water, you need to fill it up – it’s gravity fed so there’s no pump (thus working without electric) so if you don’t have a lot of water in the upper tank, the flow will be a bit slower but with the tank over half full, the flow is acceptable.
7) The device is not plumbed in at all – you fill the top of the machine using a jug or similar. There is no waste, it has a drip tray.
8) Water capacity is good – can store a lot of water so you won’t be refilling all the time.
9) Filter needs changing every month but these seem pretty cheap and it’s easy to change them – they fit on the bottom of the top plastic tray. You push it in slightly off the oval alignment then turn clockwise to lock in. To remove, turn anti clockwise and pull down.
I hope the above is useful for people – I’m impressed with my machine but takes a bit of setting up with running the water through so be patient. Once it’s done though, it’s a doddle and filter changing is really easy so don’t have to go through the setup again.
I had looked at other brands of water filters which are plumbed in such as Virgin Pure but the price of the machine is ridiculous and then it’s either 200 a year to replace the filter (2 each year, every 6 months) and UV thing (once a year) or you can sign upto their plan thing which is 13 a month – no thanks! This machine does a similar job for a fraction of the cost.
For the manufacturer, things could work on for future models:
1) Option to automatically fill a glass so don’t have to keep button held down
2) Higher clearance between output nozzle and drip tray so it fits a larger pint glass under it
3) Option to adjust temperature – it’s ice cold but some may want it colder or slightly milder perhaps

I thought it was going to be electric button but it’s more like a pump action and takes a long time to fill a glass
So far so good. It is a bit bulky but not enormous.. really simple to set up and does take a bit longer to filter and chill on 1st use but after that is pretty fast. I have mine by my bed and makes it wonderful to have freshly chilled filtered water whenever I like. I also have a sodastream next to it if I fancy sparkling… bye bye bottled water! Will take about a year for me before it starts paying for itself however so enjoyable to use that you might want one of these regardless… here’s hoping it lasts as the boxes it comes in are huge and I certainly do not have space to store packaging
Had previously used britta fridge jugs,&this filter not as good 4 flavour, also not cold enough, very easy set up though, great 4 getting rid of plastic waste as not buying packs anymore.teenager uses a lot more 4 diluted drinks
I need to make sure I have plenty of water. At work, we have water dispensers and coolers in lots of places, so it is easy to get fresh water. Working at home, not so easy. I have limited mobility and therefore a water cooler in my home office seemed sensible. I have had other models in the past that have failed, some in spectacular fashion. I had one that you bought 5l bottles to insert, and after about 2 years use I came downstairs to find the water bottle was a block of ice! No idea why that should happen, but there you go. I then had several iterations of the Breville version, and they all stopped working, some within the guarantee period. So, I thought I’d try this one. Many reviews say that it does not chill more than one little glass at a time, not so, we’ve just had three large glasses of nicely chilled water. The cooling process then came on, same as when we filled it but not for ages. So far so good. I will update if or when it blows up!

The water filter is very good. The filter is very easy to use and refill. Setting the water filter up was very easy aswell. Not only that when you first taste the water has a very nice taste.
We needed a new water cooler with a larger capacity, due to the amount of water we drink. The product cools rapidly and is quite once the water in the tank has chilled. Initially the water had a slightly odd taste which dissapears after the fist few glasses. I like that tall glasses fit under the spout easily.
It is really good and brilliant filter. It works and I looks really good.
The taste of the water is much nicer and I am drinking so much more water now. I wish they made it so that you could just press it and set the ml size, rather than standing there holding the button in. It’s no big deal. Would have liked to see an electric button to auto dispense though.
The machine is quiet. I was surprised when I read some reviews saying it was noisy, it’s certainly not. It only makes a sound when it’s cooling the water, which it does very fast and it’s not really loud and then it stops. I’m happy with my purchase and the machine is good value for money. It’s going to be ideal for the summer months. If you are looking for a water machine, but don’t want to be spending hundreds with a bulky unit, it’s very good.
Note to seller: When it arrived it had a scratch down the side of the clear tank. No big deal, but was a little annoyed by this. It wasn’t a crack, so didn’t return.
Water filtered with Aqua Optima filters tastes even better than the ones from Brita jugs! This mini-fridge is very cool as you have water always chilled, ready and safe to drink. No more bottles from the store! So happy with this purchase! Only con is that it gets a bit noisy when it’s the only thing powered on in the evening 🙂
We bought this as unfortunately our filter for the fridge broke. I must say I was pleasantly surprised with how good this is. However sometimes it does make a little too much sound but all in all a very good product.
Purchased this over the summer. Easy to install and use. Perfect size for bedroom or kitchen. Keeps water cool. Not ice cold but fridge cold.
The filter lasts quite a long time. The water tastes good.
This is a great buy. The water is so cold that the glass mists up after a minute of pouring water in.
Wouldn’t be without this now, I can smell the chlorine in the water from the tap, it’s not nice at all, out of the machine it tastes really nice & clean, no smell at all, I do drink a lot more water now
Does what it is intended. The water is as cool as when it is kept in a fridge. It is quite a bulky unit on the worktop but does the job well. No complaints so far. Easy to set up and the water comes out at a fair rate. Filling a 500ml glass probably takes about 10 seconds so it’s not frustrating.
This is a great little water dispenser, I’m someone who drinks alot of water but also prefers water very cold. I did have the plastic taste at first but when you fill it up for the second time it will go away. When the water is cooling, it will make quite abit of noise but when it’s cool, it’s quiet as anything. I’ve stored this in my room as it saves me having to go downstairs at night or during the day loads of times to get some water, this is because majority of the time when I’m at home, normally most of the time I’m in my room. It also comes with a filter and also a water bottle which is good which comes in handy aswell. Great taste of water aswell and if your looking at getting this item, then I highly recommend it, it’s worth the money!
great looking and produces clear cold water. Filter lifespan could be longer than 1 month
Previous reviews have complained of a plasticky taste. However, if you follow the instructions on the set up of the filter then this is not the case. I’ve just replaced the filter for the first time and no problems if set up properly.
Easy to fill the top tank and filters through fairly quickly. The water stopped filtering through a couple of times with the filter but I just removed the filter and reinserted it each time and it hasn’t done it since. It’s possible I’d managed to dislodge it somehow.
It works with or without power so if during the winter months you don’t need the water chilling as much then you just use it as a water filter.
The chilled section holds less than a litre so for really cold you would get just a couple of small glasses before chilling function restarts. It will continue to dispense though. I haven’t found it to be an issue.
If I had to make an improvement I would like a tap dispenser rather than the button which is tough on weak/arthritic hands.

The water flavour was really really weird for me at the beginning, tasting like pool water (vaguely resembling chlorine) but I guess it was either the filter that needed some initial usage or my mouth needed to adjust to the different filter type (I used to use the bottled filter), but after a week or two the water started to feel perfectly normal and I actually enjoy it a lot.
The temperature is perfect, very cold but impossible to give headache.
Couple of things that I don’t like: the lid always gets a lot of condensed water which can easily spill all over the place when you open it, also if you are drinking your standard 1-2 liters of water per day, you’ll need to refill it at least once per day.
Be careful in the summer, if it’s exposed to direct sun light, some parts of it will become warm enough for it to never stop trying to make the water cold (I think some sensor gets a bit crazy). Moving it to a different corner of the kitchen that is always away from sunlight solved the issue.
Finally, yes it is quite noisy when it makes the water cold, which happens once per day on average and takes about an hour, but we barely notice as we don’t spend much time downstairs in the kitchen anyway.

A great way to have cold, filtered water at any time. Thoroughly recommend this.
Initially, there was an unpleasant plastics taste to the chilled water that persisted for a couple of fillings of the water tank. I was considering returning the product but the taste disappeared before I made the decision to return. I’m now happy with the Chiller and would have awarded 5 stars without the taste problem.
Excellent product and I would recommend. I live in a hard water area and this has filtered the water perfectly and with the built in cooler is perfect.
Very easy to use and handy for home and office. Filtered and cool water on one touch. Very happy with it.
Very nice cooler. Water is very tasty. If there’s a lot of people in the household than you need to refill quite often but overall I’m very happy with the purchase.
Excellent product! Looks really stylish in the kitchen. The water comes out nice and cold, it also cools very quickly after each refill. The water tastes fine, a bit odd when the filter is first used, but that soon goes. Great product, highly recommended!
This chiller has replaced our old one brilliant it is easy to use only down is the filters get airlocked easy to free just tap the filter and this clears the air works fine after that I might try a maxtra one and see if that will cure the problem otherwise nice fresh cold wate
Item as described, easy to use, chilled water that hydrates so nicely. Highly recommended.

Is been couple of weeks, it’s perfect the water cooler. The water is not cold as fridge. But still cooler then tap water. You don’t want fridge type cooler water. As you can develop cold or cough. Haven’t had any problems yet. But still early days as it’s only been few weeks had i

I was still getting a bit of a plastic taste after a few days, but then I realised that it was possible to remove the second (larger) tank too – which meant I was able to give it a proper wash in the sink with hot soapy water. The instructions don’t make it clear that the larger tank is removable too, and so I suspect that others did the same as me (deep clean on the top tank, but only a wipe down on the larger tank).
Since doing the proper clean on the larger tank, the taste is completely gone. However, if it hadn’t been – I was going to leave the tanks to soak in some diluted bicarbonate of soda overnight and then give them a second wash to remove any bicarb residue – which I believe would solve the problem easily.
Hope this helps!
Would recommend this product. I read a couple of reviews where there is a plastic taste but if you read the instructions there is an long cleaning process before even plugging the product in. After following the instructions to a T, I did have acceptably low levels of plastic taste for 2-3 more tank cycles before that taste removed completely.
Mine came with a 30-day filter.
The fan is not too noisy.
Only thing to note is that the water dispenses slowly and the capacity of chilled water is 0.8l like many other alternative products.
Does exactly as advertised, easy to set up, really noticed difference in water quality
Excellent product and here’s my tips to ensure perfectly cold and filtered water using this machine.
1) Following instructions in regards to flushing the machine out prior to use and filter preparation.
2) Ensure machine is in a open space with plenty of ventilation (does not have a compressor like a fridge) otherwise it will take ages to chill the water.
Typical time to chill .6L after use is around 10mins providing 2 is followed.
More than happy with this and can highly recommend.
Very easy to assemble and makes lovely cold water which is filtered too. I could recommend it in this hot weather it truly is a God send.
Very nice however wash before use or you will get a plastic taste also takes very long to cool
Cools and filters water there are reviews on here saying the water taste’s funny in the instructions it clearly states you wash the plastic containers down with a hot water fairy liquid and a clean cloth then rinse easy to use and simple has made me drink far more water rather then drink fizzy drinks or juice
It’s a grate product, the water it chilld perfectly and its not to loud when chilling once chilled almoast silent. Fits really well in smaller spaces, as I’ve got mine on top of my mini bar fridge in my room. My only complaints is that it can take a while to fully fill with the filter, also the filters are dee
Tip
When dispensing the chilled water into a glass or whatever, after not having done so for a while, remember to run off and discard a very small amount first as a little bit of water always remains in the pipe between the cold tank and dispensing tap which can affect the quality of the freshly dispensed chilled water. This has been the case with all the previous models I’ve had.

I’ve had one for about a year, and my carer was very impressed with my mine, so I ordered her one..and very nice, at the time on special offer…I do agree it is a little on the expensive side, but does the job very well.
Arrived the day after I ordered it, so easy to set up and was ready to use really quick. Nice cold filtered water that saves room and plastic bottles in my fridge. Something the whole family will enjoy
One of my best buys on amazon to date and I have amazon deliveries arriving pretty much every day! I recommend this to everybody. I drink so much more water now that I have this machine.
Fantastic item, water tastes great, does what it should, great item
What I will say is it’s not perfect by any means. I personally chose to remove the filter due to the strong flavor it can add to the water. This wasn’t the reason I bought this product as I use bottled water anyway so it’s not a big deal for me.
The other thing is the water isn’t that cold but it works nonetheless for me. You could always add some ice cubes if you wanted it colder.
A couple of design improvements that could be made.
1: add more room between the water tank and the motor so the water isn’t been heated up by the motor while it’s on.
2: don’t have the filter sitting inside the water storage tank, this just leads to the strong flavour the filter leaves behind. Ideally the water would just pass through the filter into the storage tank to prevent leaching.
3: use a stronger pump so the water flows out faster.

Very happy with my aqua Optima. It is a bit bulky and needs to be near an outlet. I would recommend this product. It filters limescale which I had a big problem with
Highly recommend this machine, water tastes amazing (and I’m fussy) and it’s lovely and cold. Reason for buying was to use less plastic, great alternative!
Cooler brill taste the difference ,but filters keep stopping water going though, have to take the filter compartment out witch is full of water so you can imagine water every ware and shake it the filter of corse so it starts letting water pass ,if this keeps up going back
Fantastic value for money, this machine is brillaint would recommend.
I bought someone this as a gift. They wanted to return it saying it was too big but forgot to send it and so have been using it for five months now. They told me they stopped using it for a couple of day as they were too lazy to re-fill it and just tap water. When they used it again, one of them just said ‘Wow! That water is amazing’. Apparently, even their house plants are thriving much better with this filter’s water. They have been so fulsome in their praise of something they didn’t want, I’ve decided to get one for myself. Their only gripe was the water flows so slowly, that instead of using it to make tea, they’re just going to buy a filter kettle.
Brilliant water cooler, my best purchase. Saving on not buying bottles of water every week.
The water is cool but not freezing, the water machine can still be used without plugging it in, as this is just to cool the water. It is fantastic!
Gets the water nice and cold. Easy to use.

Edit – been using for a few days now. I have to pour the first glass of any use out, as there is a strong plastic taste otherwise, due to the inner tubing presumably. Once that is done, the water is very tasty. I have been addicted to mineral water and this is a good trade, and cold. I pour it into a glass jug with a lid, so I can carry it to bed as I drink a lot. I bought a reusable bottle to take it with me on walks. Excellent. 5 stars despite all the niggles. I will need to ask manufacturers how to clean it properly delivery tube and all.

I would recommend. Gets water cold pretty fast, reduced the water taste.
I bought this product for home use. We just like it.
The first machine delivered developed a noisy Moyer after about 3 months but it was replaced at no cost to me. The new one is fine, so far, except the supplied filter blocked after a month. In the photo it’s the more square shaped one that jammed up. It’s way more convenient to have push button filtered water than getting it from the fridge. Now I fitted the new filter after a month and it leaks unfiltered wate
It’s great, easy to set up! Just make sure when fitting filter you hear it click into place! I didn’t at first as it seems quite tight and didn’t want to break the mount it fits on to. The only negative would be the chilled water tank is a bit small ,and after filling a 500/600ml glass the fridge has to kick in to chill the next tank full. It only a problem in a thirsty household! I wouldn’t be without this now, the water is cool and crisp!
In terms of use, it uses gravity to push the water out, and the filter is fairly standard. I quite like i
The water tastes good. We live in a hard water area, so it is good to be able to have so much filtered water on tap. I think we drink more water as a family because of it. It is good to have the water instantly at a good, chilled temperature.
I haven’t used the recycling facility yet, but am glad that there is a scheme to recycle the filters. I believe the filters need changing once a month.
