This is the first time using a mattress topper – and I now I know what all the fuss is about!
This arrived rolled for convenience and we let it air for the day before using.
Placing it on and fixing it to the bed was easy as it has straps at each end to help it instantly mould to the shape of your mattress.
That first night we used this, we 100% felt the difference. It is like having a brand new mattress.
This is incredibly comfortable, even if you do feel like you’ve raised the bed a few inches in those first few days!
By the end of the week, you actually forget this is on the bed – but that comfortable feeling remains.
We make sure to rotate it every few weeks, but so far, none of us have any complaints about this.
Yes, that is a high price tag, but for the new lease of life this gives your bed, we both agree that it is worth it, especially when compared to buying a whole new set-up.

Bought it for a neighbour. They are happy with it. Fold in middle didn’t completely disappear but does not seem to affect comfort.
The topper is just like in the pictures, thick, firm and comfortable. I gave this topper to my father, who was having some problems sleeping on his mattress and this came right on time. Great back support and saves money on buying a new mattress. Great value for money!
The first challenge with this mattress topper was to get it out of the packaging! It comes both boxed & in tight plastic wrap. I decided to get this out for the first time whilst making the bed ahead of visitors staying but quickly realised that was a mistake. When unwrapped, the mattress topper had a very pronounced ridge down the middle so needed to settle a while before use. 24 hours later, the ridge had disappeared & I could put it on the bed.
The stretchy straps make it easy to secure onto the bed, and means it doesn’t move during the night. I was pleased that the chemical smell often present with such new things wasn’t overly evident. It has a zipped cover for ease of washing which is great. I have had reports of a nice comfy nights sleep on our bed with this topper on. A really great option to refresh a slightly tired mattress, and though expensive, worth the money.

I tried this topper for a month and I’m really happy with it.
This mattress topper is very soft and very easy to apply; with just the four corner holds to go onto your original mattress, so setup is easy.
Using the topper has made getting to sleep a lot easier, as it can shape around my body making me feel comfortable at all times.
The only problem I have with it that after a while the corner straps can come undone, leading to a problem when the topper will come loose and bunch to one side of the bed. This can become uncomfortable if it happens during the night, waking you up.
Only one strap has gotten loose from the mattress during this time and its always very easy to fix, but still can be a nuisance.
Be wary of how thick your mattress is, as I tested this out on a few different types. If your mattress is quite thin then this can be a great edition, but if you already have a thick mattress, then the corner straps will struggle to get around the mattress, if it manages to at all.
Overall this is a very good mattress cover, very soft and comfortable and easy to install.
It says ‘Firm’, but I never find memory foam particularly firm (except in cold weather). I would say this is more Medium firm.
This had a slight odour when unpacked. All memory foam off-gases. This does dissipate after a few weeks. Occasionally, it can take longer.
However, if you have a hard mattress then this will take the edge off and make it more comfortable. Memory foam can be a little hot to sleep on. I get round this by using a natural wool, fleece topper which is great at wicking away moisture. It has to be natural, not synthetic.
I like the fact that this topper has elasticated straps which helps it stay put.

What a difference this has made to our spare single bed. It’s gone from an uncomfy, cheap guest bed to a luxurious feeling and comfy bed that I have no concerns of anyone sleeping in it when they stay.
Arrived vacuum packed, this mattress takes 48-72 hours to fully come into it’s own but I will admit, it didn’t take very long at all to go from a crumbled bit of foam to something resembling a comfy memory foam topper in no time at all! You have two options, a softer memory foam side or a firmer high density foam layer providing more substantial support. It has a removable and washable cover which is easy to do and dries really well. I’d advise you wash the cover while you wait for the topper to settle as it does have a very chemically smell to begin with which does dissipate with time.
The cover also has non slip backing and straps which prevents it from moving around – so no sliding off the mattress! It fits nicely under our fitted sheets too so no real need for replacing or buying extra deep sheets
I am so glad we tried this and am considering one for our mattress, it is that comfy. A great way to rejuvenate your uncomfy mattress without the need for spending hundreds of pounds on a new one!
I admit I was a bit concerned about this product when it first arrived. It comes rolled up in a plastic wrap in a box and before I cut open the plastic I looked at it and thought ‘this isn’t wide enough – have they sent me a single?’ (I ordered a small double). However, I checked the box and it said ‘small double’ so I opened the wrap. Then I realised it had looked small because it was folded long-ways to fit in the box. But when I unrolled and unfolded it, that long-ways fold left a very pronounced ridge all the way down the centre which also worried me – would that be uncomfortable to sleep on?
But, as it turned out, my worries were all unnecessary. I had unpacked the mattress topper during the afternoon and by the time I was ready for bed and went to put the sheets on, that longwise ridge was greatly reduced and didn’t interrupt my comfort at all and, by the time I had slept on it for the night, any sign of the ridge had completely disappeared.
I am finding it very comfortable to sleep on. The listing says it is ‘firm’, I’d probably say it was more in the ‘medium to firm’ range. It is quite supportive to sleep on but when you sit on the edge it does squish down under your bum more than I’d expect a firm mattress to do. However, I’ve slept on it for about a week now and certainly have found it comfortable and supportive and have not woken up with any complaints from my back, so I’m pretty happy.
The elastic loops at the corners hook around your mattress and hold the topper in place. One inconvenience, of course, is that the topper makes the mattress that much thicker so if, like me, you use fitted sheets, it’s a bit of a struggle to get them over the mattress/topper together and you can’t get the sheet corners fully over every corner of the mattress. I guess I’ll have to invest in some extra-deep fitted sheets.
But it is a well-structured, supportive topper for your mattress and I’ve been very comfortable sleeping on it.
This is a great item to buy if you have a mattress that isn’t that comfortable and you would like a better one but don’t want to buy a whole new one and get rid of your old one. With this, all you have to do is place it on top of your old mattress, and that’s it.
It was delivered quickly and in good quality packaging. There are two different sides depending on how hard you like your mattress. I used the soft side because I personally prefer it like that. It is so soft and super comfortable, it feels really great to lay on.
You can order this in different sizes, and I ordered the double size which fits perfectly onto my double mattress. I really cannot fault it and it is a really great item.
Overall, I highly recommend it and it is super good quality and very comfortable.
The fitted my mattress like a glove once I had taken it out of the packaging and given it a couple of hours to gain its shape.
It is super comfortable, very breathable and has certainly helped my sleep patterns.

This mattress topper came very well packaged and at first you would not think it is a big as it is.
Fits a normal double mattress and is a correct 7cm deep measurement. As seen it has straps to ensure it will stay in place once in position
Is very comfortable once you lie on, it is soft but firm.
It is not too soft
Because of the extra thickness you will need to get a ‘deep’ mattress sheet as the ‘normal’ sheets will not fit there after.
It is very heavy to manoeuvre around, but once in place it is very secure.
The line down the middle in one of the pictures is because we had it folded in half overnight prior to putting it on the bed, it went very quickly.
It isn’t memory foam which is what I personally prefer. Just a very soft but comfortable and supportive mattress
Once taken out from the box and left on the bed, took a few hours and was ready to stay on the mattress.
The mattress topper chosen is a medium-firm and I can say is amazing and can finally have a good night’s sleep. Turning my buddy on the mattress topper is good and easy.
The price at the time of review was 102.97 and I believe is a good value for money.

The mattress topper arrives curled around packed in plastic in a cardboard box. On opening the box it’ll curl out and you’ll need to remove the plastic wrapping. It does smell quite a bit on opening but as you’ve to leave it lying flat for around 48-72 hours before using, this smell will have gone completely by the time you put it on your bed. If possible leave it in a spare room that is well ventilated
The topper has 4CM memory foam and 3Czm high density foam, with one side being a soft layer and the other side being a firm layer. It has straps at each end which hook under your mattress to secure it in place
I got this for my son, his mattress has seen better days and wasn’t very comfortable for him. Now it’ll be hard to get him out of bed lol. It is super super comfortable and should last for years. I got this for my spare bed but I thought I’d try it on the floor to see how comfortable it really is. You could easily use it like this for a guest for a night or two.
It is dual layered so you can pick softer or firmer support.

I am a huge fan of memory foam on a bed, somehow it’s just really makes me relax and does help with my sleep which can be inconsistent at times. This is a really lovely quality topper, it comes with a zipped cover which comes a very easily for washing. It’s perfectly sized to my double bed and goes on really easily with straps at each corner that go underneath the mattress. The quality is superb, it isn’t the cheapest but I think it’s a question of getting what you pay for with something like this.
The comfort is incredible, it is so lovely to live on real difference to being horizontal! It’s not so tall that you need to replace your bed linens so I find that my regular mattress covers are fine with this on. It is quite firm but for me that is perfect and I’m absolutely delighted with the quality and results of this product. Definitely recommended if you want to upgrade your bed experience!
This arrives in a nice big box and can then be slid out. I would advise opening it where you intend to lay it as it will unravel and expand quite quickly.
It is tightly sealed in plastic upon opening which needs to be CAREFULLY cut to free it.
With mine, once it was fully unfurled, there was a slightly alarming raised ridge running down the middle. However, leave it for a few hours and this will flatten out nicely by itself.
It has elastic straps on the underside to attach it to the mattress.
In use, I found this very comfortable and a bit like having a whole new mattress for a fraction of the cost!
So far have had many a good night’s sleep and it has held its position perfectly.
A soft foam mattress topper to add on top of my bed mattress to provide additional support and comfort for my back when sleeping.
The only drawback, the foam mattress can get a bit hot from sitting and lying on the same spot for a long period. My only preference is that the 2-layer foam mattress needs to be a lot firmer as I can feel my body sinking to the bed mattress.
Overall, it is a good soft foam mattress topper for people who like a very soft firm memory form mattress on top of their bed mattress.
My daughter mattress was not a great quality purchased from another place so this mattress topper has made a huge difference. Easy to apply and came neatly packed. I place the topper directly on top of the mattress then I put my mattress protector over the topper then put our fitted sheet on and it fits perfectly. The elastic straps holding it in place are great, . The topper is comfortable and does it is job, save lots of money to purchase new mattress.
This mattress topper came well packaged with it being rolled up in plastic and then in a box.
Once removed it came out well in shape although the middle was slightly bumpy. I left it for around 8 hours to expand and fully be bump me before putting my sheets and bedding on.
The topper is made from 3CM gel memory foam + 4CM high-density foam and is incredibly soft and comfy. Your body sort of molds with it but you get really good support.
Been having such amazing sleeps on it especially as it is not too bulky.

Single mattress topper comes rolled up, easy to pull out of the bag /box. Rolls out and onto the bed easily and a small elasticated band slips over on each corner.
I’m goldilocks level picky when it comes to mattress toppers in that they have to be “just right” and although this mattress topper from Aurorome isn’t the best I’ve ever had, it does provide a lot of support and comfort.
This mattress topper actively tries to avoid a “sunken” or “cloud-like” feeling, while still being a few centimetres thicker than most toppers within this price range. That might sound counter-intuitive but Aurorome attempt this through effectively having two layers of foam in their topper. They’ve got 4cm of memory foam, which effectively acts as your softer side with a lot more flexibility, while not being quite thick enough to completely suck you into it. They’ve also got a 3CM higher density foam layer which either acts as a bed for the memory foam, or a much firmer, more rigid layer if you have the topper faces that way up.
Swapping the layers can be a bit fiddly in the sense that you need to swap the cover to the preferred side, so before first time use I recommend just spending a few minutes on each side just get your initial preference and not end up having to do what I did and un-make then re-make the bed just so my partner could try the other side (after already un-making and making the bed that day to put the topper on in the first place!). The little bit of annoyance is more than worth it though, as the mattress topper’s cover not only has the “breathing stripes” and four straps that most toppers have but also has an anti slip fabric and the bottom of the cover which really does help reduce (though not completely stop) movement of the topper while in use, which is really quite handy!
The topper comes rolled and will take about a day and a half at least to unwind to a useable state. Once it’s unwound it’s obviously a lot more fiddly to move around and store but I don’t think I’ve had any more than one mattress topper spare at any given time, so perhaps that’s not an issue!
Overall, I was quite impressed with this mattress topper from Aurorome. It’s quite flexible, does a good job in performing two levels of more firmer support and although isn’t the best topper I’ve ever had, it’s far from the worst and most importantly gives this grumpy bear a pretty good sleep!
