AYI DRM3-600i is perfect for garden size up to 600m², with 3,500rpm cutting power- high speed motor slicing through grass more efficiently builds good foundation of healthy looking lawn.
Simple installation – Package comes with a detailed step by step instructions. Apart from a rubber mallet or hammer to pin your pegs into the ground and a pair of plier to cut boundary wire, you are all set to go.
Handy ruler can be easily pressed out of the package to measure 10cm/20cm/30cm/35cm around the garden edge or distance on type of obstacles around the garden at your convenience.
Package includes:
1 x 3 double-sided sharp blades along with additional 2 x 3 spare blades can be reverse while one side is dull.
For neat and healthy-looking lawn, sharp blades cutting is recommended, which creates clean straight cut and helps with grass recover more quickly to prevent any other disease. On the other hand, dull blades tend to tear the grass which leave ragged looking.

It lasted less than 2 years before failing. Difficult to get any form of device in the UK. Seems to have been an expensive mistake to buy this item
The Robotic mower is great. Does everything the petrol mower did previously. The Ayi customer services is not completely on the ball and it was Amazon that came to the rescue and sorted everything.
It’s amazing how quickly this little fella can start to feel like a member of the family!
Easy to install, although a few adjustments were needed to optimise the closeness of the cutting to the border edges without him falling into them, easy to programme and then just sit back whilst all your mowing needs are taken care of!
There’s something quite therapeutic about watching Little Kev start his daily work and he has been ultra reliable. You can also select from a good range of different cutting lengths too.
The app had a few issues with different time zones whereby the schedules were all correctly set for the UK but the log reporting was using a different time zone but I think that is sorted now.
Thoroughly recommended if you want an easy life and a great looking lawn.
I buried the boundary wire and set it up clockwise at first. A mistake as thr robot kept trying to leave the area. That is explained in the accompanying instructions. So I reset it counter-clockwise and now its working, BUT I have the rain sensor setting on and it seems that (although the robot is mostly covered) some splash is sensed as rain and the robot does not come out at all. Also the recharge station needs to be set on a level surface with good traction at it’s entry side else the robot just spins it’s wheels continuously trying to get in. I set some non slip rubber at this ppint to help the robot get in. Now seems to be working.
