Why Bamix?
Multi-functionality – with four blades available Bamix allows you to prepare a variety of things: from beating eggs and mincing meat to making mayonnaise, ice cream, smoothies, milk shakes or soup.
Comfortable to use – Bamix has an alternating current and balanced motor which makes it particularly quiet. It’s open safety guard allows for optimal movement of the food being processed, and no repetitive movements are needed whatever you are preparing.
Odour resistant and grease repellent due to special coating.
Repair service available – some Bamix units have been in use for more than 30 years and they can still be repaired.
Energy efficient – The Bamix motor uses less than 200 Watts, without compromising its unequalled speed, up to 18,000 rpm depending on the model.

---|---|---|---|
SpeedAs a general rule, work on speed setting number 2 especially when working with hard kinds of food and large volume of liquids/ingredients. Work using speed setting number 1 if the liquid does not entirely cover the safety guard (with the 4 prongs) and also for all food that has to be light and fluffy. | Drawing UpRest bamix for a few seconds on the bottom of the jug. Then hold it at an angle and draw it up slowly against the side of the jug. When the ingredients are no longer drawn with bamix put it back on the bottom and repeat the process until the ingredients are whipped to the required stiffness. | Wrist MovementWhile processing, use a light rotating motion from the wrist, draw bamix up a little and let it fall on the ingredients (do not press or pound). The fineness of the result depends on the duration of the processing. | BlendingDip bamix at an angle in the ingredients, switch it on and stir very slowly. Before taking the bamix out switch off the appliance to avoid splashes. |

This is my second one the previous one lasted 20 years! Would highly recommend
Cannot say enough good things about this blender. Have had for about a year and so far not a single issue. Very powerful. Blends the smoothest soups and hummus. Bought because have burned out a series of cheaper blenders over the years and wanted something robust. So far so good.
I had a basic for years and it finally died so I’m so happy to replace it!
his is my third bamix, but unfortunately it only had I attachment my other do nit fit it they fall off
I have literally burnt out two other hand blenders. I batch cook sauces every few months – cooking vegetables until tender and then turning them to puree as a base for several dishes (the best way to get veg down a fussy three year old).
This time, I thought I’d invest in something a bit more heavy duty.
This blender handled the veggies without any issue. The sauce was smooth and ready for putting into freezer bags in no time.
I like how this does precisely what you buy it for – it’s a stick blender. It isn’t a swiss army knife with ten attachments that I will never use and abandon to the back of a cupboard. (Other fittings are available if ever I feel the need, but I doubt it).
It cleans so easily, I stand the wizzy bit in hot soapy water for a few minutes and then wipe with a dishcloth. However, the blade is tiny and easy to misplace, so make sure you have a spot for it to live in.
There was almost zero plastic packaging for this blender… But Amazon put it in a plastic bag.
Great for gifting, as I already own one & knows it works beautifully.
Build quality is excellent. We don’t use it as often as we could but it’s a wonderful gadget to have in the kitchen. When we have used it for soups controlling the speed is simple as. It’s likely to last a very long time which is why I bought it. It’s nice to have something that lasts a while as opposed to needing to replace it. Bamix are trustworthy in that department.
Regret i didn’t get it faster. Best hand blender i ever had.
Only the test of time will see if it’s up to the job
Bought my first one from the London Ideal Home Exhibition in 1970’s.
It lasted this long……
Bought this for a present, we have one and find it brilliant.
Bought to replace an old Bamix that ‘died’ after 20 plus years use, does what it says on the tin, and then some!
Like the product although with adaptor for Australia is cumbersome.
LOVE Bamix blenders. This one is awesome and Powerful with 2 press in speeds buttons.. Only one chopping assessory though but otherwise absolutely fantastic.
A well used piece of equipment in our kitchen. We wouldn’t go back to the brand we used to have. Definitely worth the extra cost: it is well-built and very easy to clean.
Perfect gift for my one-handed mother-in-law who still requested this item despite the unfortunate accident with her previous blender.
is a replacement for th one I’ve “worn out”. Delighted to have a new one to use, plus I already have the alternative blades!
This is a replacement for a unit that has sterling service over a great many years. It works very well and we are very pleased with it.
didn’t notice on the information that you need to hold down the switch
Very solid and powerful. Only issue is that the blade protrudes slightly beyond the protective sides so we now have a saucepan with a very scratched bottom. The lesson is to always keep it at a slight angle when in contact.
