Behringer 1002FX 10 Input 2 Bus Mixe

Ok I am writing this review eight years after buying this Item, so i should know a little about it.
First the Cons. No Power Switch , the mixer could use a power switch because constantly removing the power adapter is counter productive and can damage it tough as it is. The controls get a bit corroded after a while, but servicing takes care of that problem , the rubber legs become detached, but that was expected after all they were stuck with glue.
The pros. The effects work great , the EQ is useable, its small footprint allows you space for other gear while having the availability of several channels at your disposal . All in all this a well built fully functional unit that can go the distance, and gives you the assurance that it will stand up to any challenge you give it. I am satisfied with this product . As I said it is a workHorse.

der Stecker sitzt tatschlich, wie andere auch erwhnten etwas zu locker im Gert.. hatte immer mal “wackler”..
auch war bei mir (bin da sehr penibel) ein Kratzer auf der Oberflche.(s.h.Bild)
Was auch nicht so toll ist: wenn man etwas in den obersten Eingang ganz links oder ganz rechts stecken mchte, dann wackelt es, als wre es uneben. Aber das liegt daran,dass die Fe zu weit innen am Gerteboden liegen.

Gre fand ich sehr gut und die Bedienung auch, so wie de Hall Effekt.
Haptik absolut gut. hochwertig.

Ottimo mixer, compatto, con effetti digitali FX. L’unica ed incredibile pecca l’assenza di un interruttore. Non penso che avrebbe pregiudicato il progetto complessivo un piccolo basculante messo a ridosso del connettore. Non consiglio n di lasciare acceso il mixer H24, n di staccare e attaccare il connettore che non fatto per questo e i piedini rischiano di piegarsi e rompersi, consiglio di staccare la spina. L’alternativa un’interruttore a slitta o basculante da mettere in serie al cavo AC di alimentazione. ATTENZIONE: un intervento del genere tipicamente invalida la garanzia e, lavorando sulla tensione 220V, richiede comunque esperienza e attenzione. Strano anche che il cavo di alimentazione AC dell’alimentatore sia fissato all’alimentatore stesso e non connesso con uno spinotto piatto, come ad esempio quello dei notebook; vendendo il mixer su pi mercati, anche solo Europei, bisogna produrre versioni dell’alimentatore cablate con prese UK, Italiane e Tedesche ad esempio, mentre sarebbe bastato distribuire solo il cavo AC.

I use this mixer for a duo life music and it’s fine clear sound, wish more channels with eq but for my need it’s gr8. Just keep in mind it doesn’t come with on off switch but no big deal

The 100 effects are a bonus when using it with a compact synthesizer. The build quality is perfect, the controls intuitive and the lack of hum or noise is a sign of a great design.

I bought this model to replace my 6 year old Behringer 802 after it finally died. I like the effects that I can add to my mic channels although only a few are useful for my purposes. The annoying bright red-power LED that the 802 had is gone on this model, which is a nice touch. I don’t know what happened to the channel preamps, but it seems as if they have removed it from this model. I hope it lasts as long as my old 802. Time for the pros and cons.

Pros:
–It has some neat preset effects that you can add to your channels “IN and OUT”.
–Volume knob is a nice big slider which comes in handy while adjusting volume by feel.
–Dimmer LEDs than the previous models which is easier on the eyes and less distracting.

Cons:
–No more British EQ’s which I loved because the old 802 (Analog) had tone adjustments to meet my custom acoustical needs. Now I have to buy a separate, stand-alone equalizer (For the channel inputs, not the mic inputs) which means more clutter and more cables.
–Still no power button and you have to unplug it (or buy a toggle switch) from the wall in order for it to turn off.
–Preset effects are limited and there are only a handful to choose from, with several variations to each one.

A pesar de tener un precio un poco elevado, cumple con su funcin de manera excelente. Los efectos funcionan y se escuchan bastante bien. Producto totalmente recomendado.

Ein schnes kleines Mischpult fr den Heimgebrauch oder die kleine Anwendung auf einer Feier, Hochzeit etc. Das Grundrauschen ist in Kombination mit einer aktiven PA Anlage sehr leise und daher auch fr leisere Hintergrundmusik gut zu gebrauchen. Der Anschluss ist auch fr den Laien sehr einfach vorzunehmen’und die Bedienung erklrt sich ebenfalls falls von selbst. Das Mischpult hat genau die richtige gre um niemanden zu berfordern und die wichtigsten Funktionen und Anschlsse abzudecken. Einzig ein USB Eingang wre evtl. noch wnschenswert.

Awesome little mixer. If you don’t need much more then, look no further. Effects are built-in. Great value.

Excellent for my application, as advertised. Very good for an inexpensive mixer.

Lo valuto 5 stelle perch per la cifra spesa davvero un buon acquisto per gente che non ha grosse pretese. Come sempre servizio Amazon eccellente ed affidabile, consiglio questo prodotto a chi vuole iniziare ad avvicinarsi al mondo dei mixer senza spendere troppo ma avere comunque un buon punto di partenza.

I have a modest but fully featured Soundcraft desk that I love but needed something smaller and simpler for live use so picked up one of these. As with most Behringer products, build quality is actually pretty decent (not going to survive being smashed about, but what would?) and its a fantastic size to fit in a rucksack or flight case with a bunch of pedals and a drum machine. Everything is crammed in pretty tight so a bit of tape underneath the channel volume knobs is a good idea to keep track of whats going where (the input sockets don’t line up with the channels they’re feeding, you see).

The fx are not going to replace dedicated pedals or racks being as they have no editable parameters – but they are far from useless and I was pleasantly surprised at how good they are for adding a little touch of ambience to vocals, samples or clean guitar, making more of the room without sounding obviously effect-y. They would also work nicely if you’re using this mixer as a local summing board for a drum kit or rack of electronics into a main mix.

The output options are great, with headphone and control room outs in addition to the main and tape outs. There is even an option to send a 100% wet signal to the control room/headpones for vocal monitoring or interesting further processing.

There are many budget level small format mixers on the market, and all have slightly different specs so its worth thinking about what things you really need/use. For example, this model has EQ on only two channels, compared to four (if you use them as individual mono inputs) on the 802. That model has a dedicated return channel whereas on this one you sacrifice an input or two to bring external fx back. On balance the extra channel and fx make this worth the extra money. I do miss having mutes, but nothing in this format have them so I’ve already looked at building a box of kill switches to stick in front of the inputs 😉

Ich benutze das Gert um Handy, Tablet, Laptop und E-Piano abzumischen und an Bose Aktivlautsprecher (http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00CL83JVQ/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_10) anzuschlieen, Das Rauschproblem kann man zwar reproduzieren, spielt aber in der Praxis berhaupt keine Rolle, da es auf die relative Lautstrke des Rauschen zum Nutzsignal ankommt.

This little unit has served me very well, I purchased it in 2007 and never had any problems with it. It is well built and I’ve always used it at home for practising.
In summary a good unit which is excellent value for money

Ich benutze das Mischpult zu hause fr Eigenaufnahmen und zur normalen Beschallung.
Es erfllt in allem seine Zwecke und ist auch leicht zu bedienen.
Fr jemanden der nicht gerade Profimig unterwegs ist, reich dieses Pult allemal. Deswegen 5 Sterne!!!

I use it to record through my computer and it is as described. It has a ton of effects. It does not take up much space. It sounds great to me. Only downfall is that it has no on and off switch. I use a power strip switch and so far it has been working fine.

This is a great little mixer if you want to do online performances. Has 2 mic inputs with phantom power and accompanying preamps built in, sound FX built in, and multiple inputs for stereo or mono. The only drawback that I can find with it is that it does not have a power switch. You either have to leave it on all the time, or unplug it. Not a real big deal but it would have been nice to just be able to turn it off when I’m not using it. Still, for the money, this is a great little mixer and I would highly recommend it.

This unit is small and portable, lightweight, noise is minimal. Mic input EQ is excellent!
Effects for the inputs are OK..
The only BIG Con is the blue led indicating the unit is ON… OMG! so bright it hurts your eyes when you are adjusting levels or the EQ.. NO Kidding!
I’ll just put a piece of electrical insulator tape (black) on top of it….
The other issue : There is no power switch, you have to unpluggit if you will not be using it, I always store it away so this is not a big issue for me, but if you’re keeping it in a fixed location, consider pluggin it to a power strip.

I bought this mixer with my swagbuck earnings- basically got it free- so- I really cannot complain. The reverb is excellent- especially for vocalists like myself. The sound is excellent and VERY clear. The only thing I don’t like is the beaming blue led light. It’s extremely bright! Blindingly bright! I placed some black tape over it so I won’t go blind. Other than that… I love it!
