The safe works well. It is easy to use with a dual locking system. The safe can be accessed via a keypad or a key. Which I think this is a great idea especially if the battery goes and power is lost, you can still access the safe via the key. The keyhole is quite discreet too and not that obvious at first glance.

The safe is a decent size and great for keeping documents inside. It appears to be sturdy although to be fair I don’t necessarily have a lot of experience with safes to be a proper judge on that.

Overall it’s great for keeping items secure. It is easy to use and accessing the safe is simple to do too!

Made of 20mm high-strength thick steel.
Appears to be sturdy and strong.
Great way to keep items safe, literally.
    Easy to follow instructions.
    Simple enough to set up.
Also has two spare keys if needed.
    Looks well made.

Ok so firstly when you are shopping for a safe in this range you are not looking for something that can hold off an actual burglar indefinitely as most burglars would see this and jack it off the floor with a crowbar and be off out the back door carrying the whole thing in minutes.

The idea of a safe like this is to either deter, delay or stop an opportunist such as an unwanted guest or a child. For this the safe is great, can be used for important documents etc and also for strong medication.

The safe would slow any burglar down and if it was bolted down then it would also create noise when being removed, all these things are of benefit when protecting your goods.

If you have guests to your home who are unknown then this is also the sort of safe that deters perfectly and keeping your valuables in it is a wise idea.

The safe has a decent key pad and also comes with a backup key so that you can access it if the code is forgotten or the battery runs down. These keys can be bought online so again the key is not going to protect the safe entirely but it will slow someone down.

As far as household safes go this IS a good one.

This is a great size for a safe. It can fit a few laptops and cameras plus some paperwork. Easy to set up with a combination code. It is like ones you get in hotel rooms. Recommend

This safe box seems very solid and robust. It is also easy to use if you read the instruction provided, so I would recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced safe for the home.

I have to say I was quite excited at the fact they now have safes that you can use your fingerprint to open and close, I was a little concerned that the set up would be a nightmare, but it was actually really straightforward.

The safe itself has a great weight to it, it feels super strong, secure and durable. I ordered the black colour which looks just like the picture and I have had no issues with usability.

Great safe, good quality and very happy.

This is like the safes you get in resort hotels, so that the cleaner won’t be tempted to lift your passports and tech devices. Heavy, strong and easy to use (the battery compartment is a beggar to use, but everything else is fine).

However in the home it does prevent a dilemma – it keeps the most precious items in a single place and for burglar it screams ‘steal me’. I am sure that a motivated burglar could get into it easy enough back in the crime den. So arguably it is a bad thing to use.

But for non-burglars – trades people, cleaners, etc – it does serve a very useful purpose. A deterrent that makes it just not worth risking it.

So depending one what you are trying to achieve here, it is either good or bad 🙂

I ordered this in black. I haven’t tested this to see whether it’s fire or waterproof but it’s perfect for what I wanted it for. It fits nicely on the top shelf of my built in cupboard in my bedroom and since the cupboard back is plasterboard on brick it’s also easy to fix in place. Seems to me to be sturdy and practical and useful for storing certain things that aren’t of themselves very valuable but that you really don’t want to lose eg. my Will. I have no complaints!

There’s a lot to like about the safe. It has the mechanism for setting your passcode and also for putting batteries in belt inside of the door so it keeps it secure. It also has a removable shelf given you the flexibility along with a couple of holes in the rear if you want to mounted. They provide you with the screws also if you do want to go ahead with this. The only thing about the holes me it means that it’s less likely to be fire and water resistant as advertised especially if you choose not to mount it. It does seem healthy and robust and I quite like the fact that it is fairly easy to use and you do have flexibility in terms of the shelves inside and whether or not to mount it. Capacity is pretty generous and holds quite a lot. Currently both on sale and has a voucher making it quite good value for money at the moment at her and the 80 mark.

Good, strong safe that’s really easy to use with either the key or the option to set two number passwords.
The shelf inside is removable which is perfect if your looking to stand folders in.
I was pleasantly surprised that it came with a black leather effect zip bag to keep more delicate items stored in.
It also has a removable thing layer of fabric on the bottom to help dampen noise when putting items in side and comes with some bolts to secure it down.
In the description it claims it is waterproof and fireproof.
I cannot see how it is waterproof as the doesn’t seem to be any sort of rubber seal around the door and the door does move in and out slightly when locked.
It may be fireproof but I am afraid I unable to test that and I would rather not have to find out if it is either .
With its three strong bolts I feel it’s perfect for home or office use and even for a small shop.
As for the price, at 139 at the time of this review I feel is reasonable and recommended for the above suggestions.

    Good, strong and safe😂

This safe is excellent quality and very well made too. It comes with full instructions on how to secure it down and how to set it up working, it did look a bit complicated to me but the hubby sorted it no bother at all. Comes in 3 different sizes and 3 different colours. You can have it set to your finger print to open it or by setting a code, we did leave the finger print as for some reason mine never works on anything (phones etc) Priced at 99.00 for the 28l safe its excellent value for money.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was pleased to get this product in order to keep items I tend to misplace inside

The product is of a good size and has plenty of storage space. It has an battery powered electronic locking mechanism doubled up with a key lock if the batteries run flat. The outer walls are all solid metal and the doors locking mechanism consists of three solid steel bars
Inside there is a shelf and also a matt. Also provide was a fire proof/waterproof a4 size wallet.

You are supplied with heavy duty screws and plugs to enable you to fix the safe in to a wall or to a wall/floor.

The only criticisms I have of this product is that it preaches that it is water and fire proof. There are pre drilled fitting holes that if you cannot use all, remain open and as such would let fire and water inside. There is no seal around the door each so I do not believe it is fully air tight. The wallet whilst fire proof does not appear to fully seal at its zip so it appears water could enter it. However it will still offer more protection than nothing at all.

Despite the two criticisms I have however I am thoroughly pleased with this item. If you are looking for somewhere to store you valuable items this product offers exactly that without breaking the bank. Therefore I am happy to recommend purchasing this item.

    Secure and decent in size

They safe has a 28l capacity so it’s perfect for your prized small possessions and heirloom jewellery or anything you really want to keep secured like birth certificates etc.

This safe is really good with lots of features making sure it can be opened the way you want it too.
Firstly, it comes with bolts to screw it down, 2 keys, a fireproof bag and a backup power bank for the keypad so you have everything you need to set it up and install it.
The safe is a nice large size with good height and depth, a removable shelf, along with a sturdy feel and strong door with 3 large locks to seal it up.
The front panel has a hidden key access as a backup, a touch screen that lights up when you touch it so you can have a combination pin code and my favourite the fingerprint sensor.
The instruction were fairly easy to follow when you find the reset button inside the door edge and then I changed my pin and set up 4 different fingerprints. Unlocking is now as simple as putting my finger on the sensor and it clicks to unlock then you turn the lock to open.
I did have a few questions around the safe and the customer support was really good and helpful which is handy to know.
Overall, for 99.99 I think it’s actually good value for a well-made solid safe and I love the ease the fingerprint access gives. Improvements would be a better battery compartment and if they could make it fireproof and the door open a little further as getting A4 documents in is a little tricky.
Take nothing away though I love the safe and I’m very happy with it.

good safe with lots of good features

Great idea to keep valuables out the way and safe.
Well made and lots of room inside.
Easy to use and comes with a set of keys for backup.
It is a well made safe but I don’t think it is quite as strong as advertised and seems a bit overpriced as well.

This safe arrived with a sheet of paper with minimal instruction, there is also a large well made zip wallet (i presume for paperwork etc..) it also has an emergency battery pack (from what i managed to work out you are able to use this battery pack if the one inside the door fails/runs out of power). There is a tiny hole underneath the display and the battery pack can be plugged in here if needed, and it also doesn’t make the safe accessible to a thief as you still need to know number combo or the users fingerprint to actually open it.

Situated on the back of the door inside the safe is a compartment which takes 4x AA batteries. This powers the display.

Running along the hinge side of the door (inside) is a green reset button for factory reset and also to set fingerprint locking. (I have yet to test the number locking and instructions are confusing so once i had the fingerprint lock sorted i didn’t give the numbers thing much more thought, i wanted something that could only be opened by my fingerprint-although the safe has the ability to save up to 30 fingerprints).

As the process is a little confusing and repetetive i was happy to settle for the fingerprint rather than try and figure out how the numbers or password lock operates so can mostly tell others about that feature. I would imagine setting the numbers is not any more difficult than the fingerprint process but i dont have a lot of patience lol.
I have included pics to try and show details i would have liked to have seen when deciding whether or not to order this.

The safe also arrives with 4 big bolts and rawl plugs so you can attach it to a wall or floor if needed, there are screw holes in the floor and back wall of the safe to accomadate the screws.

Once i had set up the fingerprint it was just a case of checking and double checking nobody elses fingerprint worked, my son had been helping me try and work it out and at one stage we thought we had it set up only to discover his fingerprint also unlocked the door..
To access the display you need to keep your finger anywhere over the numbers display for a few seconds and then it will light up, you can then either type in your number, or use it to set up your combo.

You set the fingerprint lock by pressing and holding the green reset button and then placing your finger over the pad, (obviously the door is open during the process due to the need to press the green button.
You repeat this process 4-5 times and you will hear a little success ‘tune/beeping’ once done correctly.

There is also the ability to set an alarm for tampering, if anyone tries the key pad or fingerpint or rattles the safe too many times, a fairly loud alarm will sound until the correct fingerprint used or correct number is typed in.

Overall i am very happy with the item. It has a good build and size to it, more than enough for my needs and size is correctly stated in the pic descriptions.
It seems very sturdy and will be ideal for my needs.
I am able to fit a purse, my Mums old jewellry box and a good few bits and pieces but the shelf inside is removable if you jus want one large space too.

I would recommend. I haven’t yet found a permenant place for mine but i feel it will be much sturdier once screwed into something solid.

I do have to say there are also keys supplied but i couldn’t get these to work, i most likely was not using them correctly but couldn’t get them to sit in the keyhole properly (the keyhole is to the right of the fingerprint pad and is covered by a little slide off lid).

You will also need a ratchet or spanner to secure it with the bolts supplied.
Definitely a good item but maybe slightly overpriced. Time will tell but i am hoping it never actually gets put to a proper test lol.

Good once you can program it, which is a little confusing...

This Bitowat Safe Box is a good size without being cumbersome. It is all steel construction with three locking bolts and an internal shelf. There is also a fireproof A4 size zipped pouch for documents. There are two security keys and a clear, easy to follow instruction leaflet. Fittings for fixing the safe box are included too. The box is sprayed matt black and from the look of it is stove enamelled. It doesn’t catch the casual eye.

I found it easy to set up for both a password and a fingerprint lock. The pouch holds a good wodge of papers and is very good as a safe place for things like birth certificates, insurance documents or personal detail lists, etc. It’s reassuring to have all one’s information in one place and very helpful in an emergency. There’s plenty of room in the Safe for whatever you care to keep; access is easy with the password or fingerprint or you can use one of the keys provided if you’ve forgotten the first and have a bandage on the second.

The Safe Box is wellmade, good build quality and a convenient weight: light enough to pick up but you wouldn’t want to carry it very far. Obviously if you secure the Box to the floor or to the wall, weight is not a consideration. I’m pleased to have this Safe Box and think it fair value for the price. It gives me a certain peace of mind even though it is virtually empty at present.

    28L Black + Fingerprint safe:

    What’s included:
    * 28L Steel safe with affixed door control panel including number pad, fingerprint scanner and key lock.
    * Battery compartment (inside safe).
    * Detailed instructions on how to operate the safe.
    * Interior removable shelf and removable felt lining.
    * Exterior power supply in case the control panel batteries die.
    * 2 emergency Manual override keys in case the panel batteries die and you can’t find the exterior power supply.
    * Large screws with wall plugs for fixing safe to floor/wall etc.
    * Zip-up fireproof folder suitable for containing documents up to A4 size.

    Features:
    * This safe is very heavy and made of very thick steel. The instructions for setting up your password and fingerprint were straightforward and easy to follow.
    * There is an anti-tamper alarm which sounds when the wrong password has been input more than 5 times in a row. (Included video). You can turn off the alarm by simply inputting the correct code or scanning the correct fingerprint
    * There is a light inside the door of the safe which illuminates the contents when the safe is opened allowing you to see inside even when dark.
    * Having a fingerprint reader makes accessing the safe so incredibly convenient, it is the perfect option for someone who intends to store something they need to access frequently. No need to fumble for a key or put in a code each and every time, the fingerprint scanner takes no more than a second or two to unlock.
    * I love that there are multiple failsafes to help you access your valuables in the safe in case you forget your code or the batteries die. For example, you have the key, and even if you lose the key, you have an external power pack which plugs into the outside of the control panel.

    Fireproof? Floodproof?
The safe isn’t waterproof and won’t protect the contents in the event of a flood – there are holes drilled in the back and bottom to allow you to fix it to a surface, and water can enter these holes even if the door were watertight (which is isn’t). It wouldn’t be fireproof either as the control panel at the very least would definitely melt/burn in a house fire which would then allow the smoke/embers to get inside.
However, there is a fireproof folder included, so any very important documents can go in there. I haven’t tested it yet, but it theory at least that should be fireproof.

It does seem pretty intruder-proof though, It certainly wouldn’t be easy to break open and as it can be screwed down from within, it can’t be carried off either.

Overall, I’m really impressed with it, it is easy to set up, convenient, quick to access, strong and protective and not easy to lock yourself out of. I’d recommend it unless you’re really looking for something that is truly fully fire and waterproof, which this safe is not.

High quality, very convenient, but not fully fire or waterproof

Well built and solid safe which comes with fixings so can be attached to the floor or wall or placed on a shelf if preferred. The safe requires 4AA batteries and i found it a piece of cake to set up. It comes complete with 2 back up keys in case of an emergency or if the batteries suddenly died.

The safe has a handy shelf which i found easy to remove and place back in, it will hold a ton of documents, passports etc and help keep any valuables safe, my hubby has decided to use it to house his beloved cameras so he’s happy! I found the safe to be reasonably priced, it works well, i am pleased with it.

Easy to use, well built safe.

Three different opening methods, fingerprint, key or password.
Easy to set up, you will need 4 AA batteries to put in the safe door and if you want to use the battery back up unit you will need another four AA batteries.
You get heavy duty bolts included so you can attach the safe to a wall or the floor.
It is quite weighty but that’s a good thing.
Great home use safe for important documents, passports etc.
    Overall very happy.

Have plenty of batteries to hand

A good sized safe but fairly basic in operation. When bolted down and in a closed space like a wardrobe this would provide a good enough deterrent to protect valuables. The sales page stated motorised bolts, and while this looks similar to a hotel safe, this does not have motorised bolts. You need to manually turn the knob to lock the safe, likewise to open enter the code and a light on the front indicates a correct code and you turn the knob to open. When you open the door a small led light in the door hinge part adds some light inside the safe which is a nice feature.

Internally you have a max depth of 26cm When the door is closed, 36.5cm width and 29.5cm height, a shelf which is held with two plastic pegs can be removed. It comes with 4 bolts for securing with two holes with 25cm centre spacing on the rear and base. The door swings open about 100 degrees, but as the framing around the door is smaller than the opening you may need put paperwork in on an angle or bend to get through the gap, but it will accommodate A4 size.

The entire front panel is plastic, with some wobble on the locking knob, doesn’t fill me with reassurance as to how secure it would be if this front panel is smashed of, I assume it wouldn’t give access to manually move the locking pins. I expect it will provide a short fire resistance likewise a splash of water but certainly not waterproof as no seals around the door. The money box included is a standard metal one, with 2 eyes and inside a coin tray. The fire wallet is 34cm x 24cm, with a zip opening of 30cm, a rubber cover over the zip when closed I assume helps prevent some water entering.

Overall for the price at the time of reviewing the safe performs fine, a good sized and fine for general use to keep items private. If you are storing a lot of valuables you may want to look at spending more for something that has a higher lever of security or metal front panel to give that extra reassurance.

Good size and works well, would be improved with a metal control panel housing

Great piece of a safe box. It’s relatively big so you can easily fit lots of stuff in it.

You have two ways to open the safe. You can open the safe with one of two keys that come with it or you can use the keypad and set your own code, bare in mind that to use the keypad you will need 2 AA batteries to be inserted in the back of the door in order for the keypad to work. Batteries not included.

Comes as well all the screws and mounts required to set the safe box on the wall if you desire.

However the safe box only weighs about 15KG which don’t seem much for a safe that big, which leads me to believe that it is build with cheap metal. It does not mean it is not a safe box nonetheless but will not the best protection if you really want to keep things safe.

This is a large safe, larger than I expected and feels very solid. The safe comes with full instructions for using the different code options. There are two keys supplied if you don’t want to use the digital combination lock, or if batteries have run out or are damaged. The option of having two codes, a master and a general is also available.

There is also a fixing kit for this safe. You get sturdy bolts that will require holes drilling into a sturdy wall so that it is a more secure fit. This means that the door will need to be open for you to also remove it. It would be more difficult for it to be removed.

The safe has an internal shelf that is a good size for fitting a jewellery box in if you have items that need locking up – not an issue for me. This shelf can be removed. There is also a fireproof bag, this makes me wonder how fireproof the safe is!

The safe is large enough for storing A4 documents in with the need to fold them, so deeds, wills, insurances and other important details are kept secure. The other option for this is to use it for ammunition storage for those with either a shotgun or firearms licence. Several boxes can be stored here safely and securely.

Overall a sturdy and good sized safe. It is a good weight and looks smart in the black finish. I do like this and it is useful for documents and other things. I would definitely recommend it.

I got the 17L version of this weighing 6.3kg. It is made of rieinforced heavy-duty carbon steel with approximately 2 inches thickness . So in a nutshell this would take some shifting should somebody break into our home

Obviously setting the pass code requires great care and attention but once done this functions perfectly.

This is great for small valuables and passports. It is compact enough not to dominate the room and can in fact be discretely hidden with a little imagination.

    Great product and fantastic value.

This safe, can easily fit A4 paper, This safe only has 4 fixing holes at the bottom of the device, allowing you to fix it on a solid floor. It comes with 4 bolts and 4 plastic plugs to help with this. It uses batteries, passwords and keys. It has good security performance, but it cannot store valuables. It can only store some simple passports, documents, etc. It can be easily opened if it is violent.

Whether this safe is going to work for you depends on the situation you will be using it in.

If you’re in shared housing and looking for a safe to keep documents private or maybe you’re involved in a club and want to keep small amounts of money safe in an office then this is perfectly fine.

We picked this up as we have people visiting from time-to-time for work purposes and such, so it’s nice to have that bit of extra protection with a safe. Any documents or passports or jewelry or video games or anything like that we don’t want people seeing or to go missing we can just chuck into the safe.

This is because the kinds of people we have visiting (contractors generally) aren’t going to go hunting for a safe, but you never know if perhaps they’ll be a bit nosey and take a look at a private document or maybe grab a passport off the side if it’s lying around. For these purposes, it’s easy enough to set a code and rest assured that everything is private.

The safe itself is fairly heavy, although easy enough to lift with a bit of effort. It is made of a fairly solid heavy-duty carbon steel and looks the part. The numbers on the front are powered by batteries (easily replaceable on the back) and allow you to access the safe with a code. Alternatively, you can you keys if you lose the code or the batteries die. There’s plenty of room inside for passports, documents, jewelry, cash, etc.

Where I probably wouldn’t use this safe is for serious business or charity purposes where the aim will be to keep large quantities or money or high-value items. This is simply because the safe is too small, light and breakable with the right tools. No one is going to have any trouble picking this safe up, walking it to their car and breaking it open with a crowbar (with a bit of work).

So, again, whether this safe is the one for you is going to depend on your situation. If you’re looking for a fine looking, good quality, lightweight safe, that has the option of touchpad or key then this is an excellent choice. It may be a little too portable for business use, but if you’re looking for something to stash in the bottom of a wardrobe for privacy and anti-opportunistic theft reasons then this is a good option.

Good quality safe for the right situatio

I am really impressed with the safe.
You bolt into place using the supplied fixing two bolts at the bottom and two on the back wall. Inside you get a nice shelf snd at 30cm high you get a lot inside.
To open at first you use one of the two keys supplied, once the safe is in full operation the keys are just in case of battery failure ( down side is you have to hide them )takes AA batteries. You hide the key lock with a cover strip which is in the pack. ( unless you know about the key lock you wouldn’t know it their)
Really impressed with the instructions easy to follow and understand snd program.
Overall over impressed with the size, quality, security, peace of mind and price point 109 and if I move I can take it with me only took 20 mins to fit so less to remove.

    Look and feels strong

erm how would it be fire or waterproof when it has bolt holes in the back and bottom for securing to a wall or floor, hmmmmm.

anyway for me this is ideal (hence 5 stars), akin to a hotel room safe, just what I wanted, for storing hard drives and passports at home to stop an opportunist from snatching them (although thankfully this has never happened!). If that’s what you’re looking for then suffice to say, this should do the job perfectly. instruction manual is clear and precise, not that’s there’s much to explain in all honesty, plus if you don’t want to bother with the combination, you can just use the key. Construction is solid enough for me, I’d say the steel gauge is around 3-4mm thick, yes you can purchase heavier gauged 10mm safes, but they are 2 to 3 times the price and obviously a lot heavier, all comes down to your needs.

Price wise, it’s certainly veering to the top end for it’s build quality and price range, but I’ve not owned one before to compare with so I can only go by other safe reviews here on Amazo

This home safe is cool. It has 3 options to open it. Keys, code and Touch ID. This is ideal for me as I can store little valuables. The heat proof bag is really good. I tested the heat resistance and it stood up to my blow torch so works well for me. You can check the measurements but the safe is not too small or big so it could find in a wardrobe or store cupboard.

Nice upgrade to the age old safe

I liked the quality of the safe as it’s sturdy despite being lightweight and is also spacious to fit a lot of essentials. The setup was straightforward as I have inserted the batteries and changed the digital lock to my desired numbers. The safe came with two physical keys which I have stored safely in case the digital lock is inaccessible or the safe not opening for any reason.
I have also screw-fastened the safe from the bottom side to the wooden floor. I did not need to drill any holes within the safe because it came with pre-drilled holes. I would advise securing safe through this way otherwise it’s lightweight and has a risk of being carried away.

I love this safe, it’s a great way to keep all my important documents and information in one place for when we need to find them quickly. The safe is simple and easy to use and very easy to set. The instructions are lovely and clear. The safe also comes with two back up keys incase you need to access the safe in an emergency and don’t know the code or alternatively to change the batteries on the digital readout.

The same is well made, sturdy, has space made for bolting to floor or wall and it has a good amount of space inside. The colour is a champagne colour which also looks great and makes it stand out from the others for sale. Price is good, value for money excellent and overall a great product from me.

    Nice safe, great colou

    Bon rapport qualit/prix

    Gesehen bestellt.

    Was habe ich bekommen?

    Pro

    Kontra
Die Verarbeitungsqualitt ist nicht die Beste. Beim ersten gelieferten waren zwei vin drei Haltern der Schlossabdeckung gebrochen. Austausch des Teils laut Hersteller nicht mglich. Also zurckgeschickt und neu bestellt.
