I’m a DIY’er & I’m renovating my third house. I bought this table saw as I had to relay a new wooden floor downstairs, & fit a new kitchen. Perfect for the job, cuts cleanly and accurately. I bought this one to replace a worn out one. Really is up to Bosch standards.
Very handy table saw. Have fitted into frame with wheels for manoeuvrability. Only major drawback is the amount of dust which goes everywhere even with good vac system attached. The soft start is great and it has good safety features. Would recommend
This saw sits midway between the cheap and cheerful budget brands and genuinely professional quality units costing at least 50% more.
I do most of my cutting using a track saw and MFT table top, so was after something mainly for smaller work and bevel cuts, which the track saw isn’t well suited to.
I found the saw to be well set up out of the box, with just a fine tune on the 45 and 90 stops needed. I don’t have an issue with the side fence that some do – I find that if I push at the centre of the fence rather than the end it locks square. For critical cuts it takes a couple of seconds to check it on with a square – not a big deal.
Sliding mitre is the main criticism – it’s OK for rough cuts, but will look at making a small sled at some point.
For site use or more heavy workshop use I’d recommend spending the extra on a more substantial unit, but for my needs it’s strikes a good compromise of cost, quality and size.
Out of the box I was quite impressed with this saw. It felt sturdy and well made, and all of its accessories folded away or clipped neatly under the bed. It has a nicely placed carry handle making it easy to move around, plus other ergonomic handholds for lifting it onto a table or bench.
Before using it I checked the blade for square and accuracy of the rip fence against the measure. Minimal adjustment was needed. I hooked it up to the extraction and started working through my cut list.
The stock blade is a little rough but this was ideal for rips and made short work of everything I put through it. I have a third-party mitre guide which I used for the cross cuts and this is when the blade did start tearing the wood. I’ll get a finer blade for the future. I’ve seen other people comment on the poor quality mitre guide that comes with the saw – I haven’t actually used this but it does look flimsy and poorly made.
The crown guard is of a design I haven’t seen before but I quite like it – the only issue for me is the extraction! Beneath the bed the extraction seems to have worked very well. However there doesn’t appear to be anywhere immediately obvious to connect an extractor to the crown guard, and this means quite a lot of dust ends up in every crevice in the vicinity!
This isn’t the end of the world, there is likely to be a crown guard already available that can be adapted, or I’ll fabricate one of my own. Until then, I’ll just have to pause periodically to vacuum up the worst of the dust.
The only other criticism I have is the size of the bed, but that’s the balance of space versus practicality. Overall I’m very happy with this saw.
I bought this saw quite recently and have tried it out but not used it extensively yet. I have a small workshop without enough space for lots of fixed tools so good quality portable tools are often best for me. I’ve never been disappointed by a Bosch tool and this is no exception – it’s easy to set up and does an excellent job ! I did mark it down to 4 out of 5 for manoeuvrability but this May be unfair. I’m in my early sixties and the tool is both bulky and quite heavy but this is perhaps inevitable for a well made tool to do this job. That said I’m delighted with it and have no hesitation in recommending it. I expect to get many years of trouble-free service from it. Typical Bosch !
Good does the job it was bought for but find it noisy on start up always as been but once running is good .
This is a very well built machine, quality fence and accurate
It is solidly built, relatively easy to assemble. It is heavy so take care moving it. I have only used it once to cut oak, found it to be accurate and worked well. Saw blade supplied did not have as many teeth as finer ones on the market, however cuts were excellent. This saw is more expensive than others on market, on balance rather buy a brand that has a reputation to uphold. Certainly no complaints here.
A very well made machine the fence etc are simply quality throughout easy set up nice blade didn’t need replacing straightaway like others do. Easy to adjust easy to get to the blade if it does need changing the blade guard is in two parts so you can get the fence very close to the blade and still be protected. Well worth spending more money to get great quality.
Excellent bit of kit, when connected to a dust extractor 95% + is removed. Soft start motor is a gift. Definitely best used with the bosch Pro stand.

Relatively light weight for the work it does and very easy to set up and use.
What a nice bit of kit.Bosch have always made good quality machines and I was looking for a table saw and the cheaper end of the market is just not worth it. Plus nearly all the cheaper one’s I haven’t heard of so it’s a know brainer. The saw was accurate straight out of the box.but regarding manoeuvrability I brought the one without the stand as I am building a cupboard to mount it on.

Okay…finally got to play with my table saw a couple of days after it arrived.
First let me say that I am a woodworking noob and definitely NOT a master so I was looking for a saw that would produce adequate/good accuracy DESPITE my skill level and not to compliment it. I watched many many YouTube reviews and agonized for weeks over whether to buy this, the cheapest option, or spend up to 200 more on the 10 inch XC. I finally rationalized that if it lasted me a year before I needed a better saw then I wouldn’t be too upset.
Setup was easy enough although the manual could be more helpy / friendly considering that this thing can maim or kill !!!
Got it set up and checked the blade was secure and the blade / fence alignment – perfectly square out of the box. Checked the blade bevel angle gauge and so long as I read the pointer right on the edge of the marks of the gauge, it’s spot on – again out of the box.
I’d read a lot of complaints about the mitre gauge being a bit rattly in the slides and would have hoped Bosch would have sorted this – they haven’t. However, the slides themselves are perfectly parallel to the blade so as long as you hold the mitre gauge firmly against one edge of the slide while cutting, it’s workable – best advice is to buy a better mitre gauge if you really want a precision fit.
I made some test cuts using the supplied blade and was very happy. It ripped and crosscut 18mm ply with no tear out. Likewise for soft pine. I cut a narrow groove (rabbit/rebate) in the pine to accept some thin plywood and was super happy with the result. I then took two strips of ply and ‘rabbited/rebated’ a very precise cross-halving joint – the only thing is the blade supplied has alternating direction teeth so the rebate surface is a little rough – that is just FYI, I’m really not that picky.
It does sound horrible (really horrible) when the motor starts but when up to speed it’s fine.
It’s gone back in the box for now to protect it until I get around to building a mobile cart for it with side and outfeed tables (as seen on YouTube of course).
Okay, so this has been based on just an hour or so of playing with a new toy, but I’m really happy with my decision to buy this saw despite the fact that I now have fewer excuses for crappy results!

Well built and not too heavy to move around. Everything has a positive location and even out of the box it’s reasonably accurate. But it’s also easy to adjust if you need to. The side extension slides easily and the top guard locates solidly and easily. At long last a manufacturer has put an easy to remove bottom plate on the extractor spout for those pine dust blockages.
Obviously it’s early days and my thoughts might change with some extensive use.
The one drawback that I see is that it is noisy compared to my old DeWalt one. Ear defenders are a must!

Brilliant , can hardly hear it cutting through the wood . Very impressed & if you buy it it’ll speak for itself ( if you listen carefully )
Great saw. Can use out of the box. It’s accurate and very easy to operate. I’ve used mine constantly since purchasing, it’s robust but light enough to move easily. I use it placed onto a workmate, it’s stable and doesn’t move.

I am not a professional carpenter but decided to go with this more expensive table saw instead of the lower cost 150-200 range units and am glad I did. The saw is sturdy and accurate, the cuts are really clean. There is minimal assembly required when you get it.

used for ripping small boards and perfect mitres excellent , only downside noisy startup but when up to speed ok
Great machine, little noisy and rattles when start up but cuts grea
Accuracy is slightly below what I expected, as others have found out. This is the loose fit of the adjustable angle setter.
The bolts use to put this table saw together are not fit for purpose, bolts used are the sort you would expect to find in a Chinese knock of toy. As this is a brand-new saw, I started to have accuracy problems as it kept on diffing out of 90
The big issue: I set my saw blade up and started cutting and bang the blade drop off and fell all over the place and came unattached from the positioning bracket.
Bosch has used mickey mouse pan head machine screws that barely even threaded into the lower section of the saw mounting – they both just fell out. This is utterly disgraceful and is utterly dangerous.
This is extremely disappointing as I have always bought Bosch Blue Professional tools for many years and this does not life up to the company reputation at all. Cutting costs on bolts in crucial areas were health & safety is not considered at all is totally criminal. Lucky I was not injured but it could have easily been a different story.

Great value, really happy with the quality of the cuts it gives
Arrived well boxed and on time. Instructions to set up are photos but fairly clear apart from how to set the fence extension. The motor is noisy but its nice to have a soft start. There is only one dust extraction point low down on one side so no dust collection at the top for the blade. The quality looks good, surfaces flat and smooth. The fence is well fixed once locked but you may need to check its set at true right angle first. The blade angle was 1 degree out but is easily corrected. The poor aspect is the miter slider which is small, all black plastic so hard to read. Overall for the price it seems good value compared to others. I bought and suggest you need the Bosch GTA560 stand for this.
