Looks the business…
Great product – not many toasters are as aesthetically pleasing at this price point. Let’s face it, it’s a toaster and it’s meant to make your bread into toast – it does this very efficiently. Haha.
The slot size is good and there is no bad smell when it is working. Takes some time to get used to the cooking time settings as it’s digital but it’s nice. I bought the kettle as well and it looks very smart.
Nice toaste
We’ve been using this toaster for a few weeks now, maybe one of two, and it’s working well. I’m enjoying making sandwiches again as the old toaster broke. Bit pricey but looks good and has lots of different levels of toastiness.

Great Toaste
Very compact and black gloss, very stylish. It does a great job with toasting all types of bread, we have granary, wholemeal, different thickness of bread it chooses how to toast. The reheat is good and you can toast buns on the top. Very pleased with it so far, works well.
I feel this toaster is of reasonable quality. It feels well built and much more solid than the one it replaces. The heating element is a bit different to most other toasters on the market. With this toaster there are no wire elements. Instead there are four glass bars, a bit like those seen on an electric fire. Two bars are in the middle and because they are cylindrical half the heat goes left and half goes right. The other two bars are positioned on the outer wall. The heat is reflected by a polished parabolic mirror towards the bread – again borrowing from the electric heater tech. I have used the toaster with frozen Warburtons bread. For this I set the browning to level 5 and activated the defrost function. The result was perfectly fine. The Warburtons bread was OK in the slot – I’d say it didn’t stick out the top. Measuring the depth it comes out at 14cm. So if you have bread that is taller than this, you could rotate it and put it in sideways as there is another centimetre or so to play with there – but there’s not much in it to be honest, it’s a pretty square toasting cavity. Heats up quickly. Tested with a second batch straight after one popped. Edged the browning down for the second batch – guessing the toaster being preheated may burn. Not the case – no need to do this. Just leave it at the same browning setting for batch upon batch. On/off button is a bit of a waste of time. Why bother? So I would recommend this.

Good stylish toaster..
Nice stylish toaster..excellent heating elements..but why Bosch complicated the toasting number settings eg..1 then 1&3 is 2,then 3 then 3&5 is 4 then 5 setting etc beats me ..why not have numerical order..however you do get use to it once fathomed out..
Great toas
This is our second toaster of this model. The first was in use several times every day for 5 years, and was still working when we replaced it with this identical one. Over time the heating elements deteriorate a bit and require more time to make the toast as brown. That said it is a well made machine and well worth the money.

A good toaste
The first toaster (same model) lasted about 9 years before the bread started emerging untoasted on one side. This is exactly the same and I hope will last as long.
It is easy to set how much to toast the bread you use, and vary it for browner or whiter, and the setting is remembered.
Simple, efficient toaster. Great value
This is a simple but brilliant toaster. I like the warming rack for croissants. Works well with standard toast and bagels. We hd it for few months and no issues. Stylish look and a power off button that is handy when you have little kids around so no concerns about accidents.

Had this model in the past and it lasted 8 years then went through two more different branded toasters which were not a patch on this so in the end we reverted back to this model and it toasts brilliantly yes it is expensive but lets face it quality costs. Highly recommended

Quality looks and performance
Bought as I wanted something that looks the part after a refurbishment of the kitchen. As a bonus it also toasts more evenly, has long slots that comfortably fit bread that’s usually a squeeze and to an extent shows progress with its LEDs. Technology is a bit different, it has round bars like an electric fire instead of the wire wrapped round mica sheets, maybe this is why it toasts so well and also doesn’t mess up if you put just one slice in. Tiny irritation is the on/off switch, would have been better if the electronics had been switched on when the toast is pushed down and off when it pops up as us usually the case.

I like this toaster very much, typical German quality in form and function. It looks great and is easy to operate. The price was also good, with an extra Prime Day discount. My only slight niggle is that the the toasting is not quite even on both sides, but that might settle down after a while. Other than that, very happy.

It roasts all breads. I buy unsliced from my local baker, slice and freeze. ( I live on my own). It roasts white to wholegrain beautifully.
Worth the Money
Best toaster I’ve had for years so worth the extra cost. Nice functionality with defrost and warming options and deep slots. Uses a different heating technology to your average toaster which is way better.
Nice toaster but broke after 4 years.
It’s a very nice looking, sleek toaster that has lasted 4 years. I purchased it more for the aesthetics at the time. It cooks evenly and never burns toast, however i’m disappointed it’s broken after 4 years. The manufacturers warranty is 2. I live alone and I have used the toaster approx 3 or 4 times a week to cook toast for breakfast , so it’s not been used excessively.
I di like the pop up function for rolls ect as i use to heat brioche and pastries but they must be tured occasionally.
I dont like about it is slightly uneven toasting on normal bread function as it has 2 halogen heating bars on one side of each slot and 1 on the other would have thought it would have made more sense to have 2 either side of the slot as this would make toasting more even.
all in all its ok but for the price i would have expected it to be better and as such i would not recommend.
I personally would have sent it back but it matches my bosch kettle which is brilliant and like how it looks on my kitchen side next to it, I did buy this as i already had the kettle and as said before if i never had it the toaster would have gone back.

I find the toaster easy to clean. I am happy with the toaster as the bread gets toasted evenly, giving it golden brown colour & you can insert thick bread easily due to the wide slots. I have not used the bun warmer yet eventhough it look modern.

I had no concerns about ordering this Bosch toaster as all my kitchen equipment is either Bosch or Panasonic and I have found those brands to be well made and reliable.
The toaster is soldid, attractive and appears to be working well, at last evenly toast bagel;s for breakfast again! That it is Bosch speaks for the quality of the piece.

Brilliant toaster, wide enough for the bread to go sideways and toast completely. Great bread roll warming piece, all attached too. Easy to set if your family are like mine and think anything above stale warm still white bread is burnt!

Nice but bulky
I like the toaster and am overall happy with the purchase, but it is a bit bulky in size. So just an fyi this isn’t a compact small devise, takes a bit of counter space.

Cool wall so don’t burn yourself easy to use one small thing when you pull down to start toasting it tips up so need to hold other end just while you do !

Upgraded from the older model which I think was better for temp control but would still buy this one again if needed.
I was a bit trepidatious about buying this toaster having read some of the negative reviews especially as Bosch do considerably cheaper models. However this one matches our kettle so eventually took the risk and am really glad I did.
It feels really sturdy, looks lovely in the kitchen and you can get the toast to exactly the level of ‘toastiness’ you desire.
We make our own bread and its handles the unusual shapes just fine…so can’t relate to some of the more negative reviews. Can’t see there would be any issues with store bought sliced and it works great with bagels, crumpets etc.
Been going fine for the month we have had it, fingers crossed it stays that way as obviously it is not the cheapest toaster on the market (but also not the most expensive either).
Basically if you want a nice looking toaster that does the job, it is worth the 59 price!
