The new BRESSER weather center 5-in-1 combines in a unique way a compact design with an extensive information service.
On the clearly structured display of the base station not only these values can be read but also a multitude of history data. The latter allows the internal storage and evaluation of measured data over a period of 24 hours. From the collected measured data, the weather station calculates a very reliable local weather trend forecast for the next 12 hours, depicted by six graphic symbols
on the display. For minimum and maximum values an individual alarm can be programmed, which gives an acoustic and a light signal when the defined value is reached. For outside temperatures of -3 °C and below a special alarm for frost/ice warning can additionally be activated.
A poor indoor climate often involves health risks especially for children and the elderly. The BRESSER weather center 5-in-1 offers you a smart feature to deal with this. The indoor climate indicator informs steadily about the indoor climate with a symbol. Furthermore the BRESSER weather center 5-in-1 features a radio controlled time and date setting (DCF time signal). Already a few minutes after switching the device on the current Central European Time (CET) and the date with weekday are displayed automatically. For the “moonstruckers†also the different phases of the moon are shown. An alarm function with snooze mode is also integrated.

The 5-in-1 outdoor sensor transfers reliably all measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature and precipitation rate to the base station.
The very compact and multifunctional outdoor sensor requires only little space and thus can be placed almost anywhere. A pipe clamp and screws for the attachment at poles (pipe diameter of about 25-33 mm) as well as a stand are already included!

We’ve had this in place for a year, excellent. Easy to read, full of information, a point of interest , to others in the garden. Where we live weather is always of interest. The mountains have their own weather, so this device is, value for money, smart to look at and hard wearing.
Easy to set up, it has a history feature which makes it very interesting for facts in the past week say.
Mine is on a 20 ft pole, 50ft from the house and it communicates to the base excellently. If you are interested in meteorology this is the unit for you.
My husband bought this as he always wants to the speed of the wind and I love it for weather ,temperature ,and how much rain we’ve have a good item would recommend

Bought this item but could not get the remote and master unit to speak and consequently asked for help. This was very good and eventually I was given a new unit as we could not resolve the problem. I was also allowed to keep the defective unit which is great for spare parts. Thank you for an excellent follow up and for resolving the problem.

This weather station is well made with many useful features and at a reasonable price.
Screen indoors easy to read. Can switch display from air pressure to rainfall.
Probably best when setting up to press factory reset button on both machines.
Quite pleased with this device but I do have criticisms. The wind speed ‘gust’ setting operates in steps! such as 4.5mph, 6.7mph 8.9mph. It will never show the true value between these positions, I am sure that sometimes it is say 4.6mph, or 6.5 mph. The wind direction is not a lot of value in the urban garden because of wind eddies around trees and buildings but it gives a general view because of the 5 minute previous readings indicator. The rain gauge works fine but needs careful interpretation. I like the nice clear display. I have not yet tried the alarm feature. The batteries (new ones) have lasted at least 3 months.
It is a nice compact instrument with no railing wiring to have to tidy up. It needs a compass to align it to point North, and it must be accepted that the time is EU time and there fore one hour ahead of UK time. Easy to set up the instructions are clear. If it is to be mounted on a pole it could be tricky to keep the pole vertical

Purchased to replace an old failed weather station, did wonder if it would be a bit flimsy but seems quite sturdy and being all in one doesn’t have yards of cable connecting all the bits together. The display could for my old eyes be a bit larger, bigger ones are available but as I didn’t want to plug anything in to mains I wanted a long battery life. The radio control clock is European but you can set a Daylight Saving Mode to bring it back to BST, this does mean a few times a year the DST saving has to be amended but it does mean you get the time accuracy. I already had a wall bracket but did have to purchase a new pole to fix it to. Very pleased with this purchase at a very fair price.
well firstly it’s a weather station and that’s what it does and it would appear to be very accurate. it also gives a very good coverage like wind speed and direction rain fall all past and present all in all a very good weather station.
The only thing missing was an app to few via phone or tablet. 5 way sensor well made easy to set up.
Very good bit of kit, set up easy enough, wish the mounting bracket twisted so easier to orientate north, and need to set the time so it doesn’t change, but otherwise very good and informative!

Very light material but seems designed to take whatever the seasons throw at it.
Most poor reviews are entirely due to not reading the instructions. The station is an accurate and brilliant little machine. The pressure, humidity, rainfall and temperature pretty much agree exactly with the BBC measurements all the time, and both units seem really well made and are good to look at. Unfortunately I don’t have the option to put the sensor in the middle of a field to ensure wind speed and direction are accurate, but it does its best with direction generally being in the right quarter of the compass. Against a wall or fence, within 50 metres of ANY obstruction will obviously affect this, but you can hardly lower the score when it’s not the machines fault! It also has other functions not even mentioned in the description! The forecasting function is good fun and causes some humorous discussions in our house! Get one, have a laugh, and learn stuff! Even gave it 5 stars for warmth??!
o be honest i didn’t need the lcd, i have it hooked up to a raspberry pi. I only use it for my own use. its reasonable for its price but not a professional and i’m ware of its readings. I like it though and its in use
Very impressed with this for the price and in general. Easy to set up (make sure you use new batteries especially for the remote unit) and seem to be returning data in line with general forecast. Would happily recommend or purchase again.
Excellent weather station. I have had 3, different brands, over 20 years or so. This is the best and a good price. No problem with time issue. Most data easier to access than previous ones I’ve had. I always use a brand new complete set of batteries as soon as I have a battery issue.
Absolutely brilliant for anyone that has some interest in the weather. Seen a few reviews saying it’s sets to German time. This is true but in the settings is the option to alter the time up to 24 hours either way. Certainly for the price would highly recommend.
Straight forward set up. I like this because as a keen gardener it gives accurate outdoor readings and advance weather prediction.

Excellent bit of kit. Well made. Display can be a little difficult to read at certain angles. But is loaded with features. Seems to be fairly accurate. But still early days to be sure.

Easy to install, clear instructions but the display could be brighter.
Easy enough to install – my husband extended it on a metal pole he attached to the end of the garage roof. Temperature indication is good and accurate, inside and out, as is wind direction and rain forecast. The only thing that appears not to work accurately is the wind speed indicator – the thing whizzes around unhindered, but even during gale-force winds, the highest wind-speed ever recorded by it was 5mph. Not sure about the rainfall measure either as I have nothing to measure its accuracy against. Easy to read monitor.
Bought this as a replacement for aged Maplin weather station. Bresser has a much sleeker, tidier design of external unit. Interior unit similar and slightly disappointing. Unable to have rainfall and barometric pressure displayed at the same time. There is space if explanation of Beaufort scale omitted. Iritating that time not automatically GMT but that is stated in the product description. Automatic date is positive though. Still early days but currently I think it is excellent value for money.

Very happy with it. RTL_433 allows the data to be sent out on MQTT so data can be accessed easy elsewhere.
Bought for my step dad. Had some problems with set up as instructions were not clear, but when he contacted the company they were extremely helpful and sent new instructions. It now works perfectly and we are getting daily forecasts!

ice, clear to read/follow even with my old eyes…i have given 5 for accuracy as it reads much the same as the weather reports, the wind readings are hard to get exact but give a very good indication of strength…set up was a breeze, instructions are good and if it lasts as long as my last station (until i dropped a speaker on the screen) it will be sat here for many years, too soon to talk of battery life but my last station suggested a battery life of around 3 months and i found i could get a good year out of them so hoping for similar with this one.
Well impressed with the product and accurate as far as I can tell. Only issue if you are recording monthly rainfall you have to make sure you record the rate on the last day of the month as you cannot view previous months data!
I have had this unit about 2 months and at first I had issues with the rain gauge not registering correctly. I wrote to Bresser UK direct and they swiftly wrote back giving clear instructions to how to check the main unit and reset how to reset the remote unit. which did help get reading. But for the accuracy of the unit I do not believe the rainfall is true, we also have a rain gauge (cup type) that does give a better reading. So my final feeling on this item is that it is good for the money and is a great product to get you started in basic meteorology. If you can afford a higher priced unit with good reviews I would skip this product.
Bought this for my husband as he loves watching the weather. It was very simple to set up and easy to use. We are very pleased with it.
Worked fine on bench when I installed the batteries, but once outside on the pole, lost connection,, had to lower the mounting pole to reduduce distance between units for reliable connection. Certaianly does not work over range advertised when an outside wall is in the way.

We bought this item for use at home in the garden as we are weather enthusiasts . The kit came well packed with good instructions .It was very easy and ver quick to set up .We mounted it on a pole in the garden within half an hour and the indoor unit received the signal in no time. This unit works on the DCF German time signal but you can switch that off in U.K. and set the time manually ,so no problem there .
It is a nice indoor screen unit that has a back light (orangey colour) that has all the data you might need for amateur interest. It has been pretty accurate too.
I can recommend this weather station .Why pay more ? It is good value and does what it claims to do .Very easy to set up .
Very easy to set up, seems to be accurate although the clock changed itself a few times so just turned the auto time setup (RGD) off. I would definitely recommend this weather station.
Good choice of information shown. The lag from gust to recording the gust is about 30 seconds. Screen not easy to read in poor lighting.
Looses connection occasionally and doesn’t seem too accurate when compared with other thermometers. For the price still a good buy
Very easy to install and connects automatically to the screen. Cant really comment on the accuracy of pressure etc but it looks about right, the temperature reads the same as the car thermometer.

Great so far, only been up and running since boxing day, but easy to set up (other than a slightly odd way of inputting daylight saving). Appears to be fairly accurate and well built. Excellent number of features which should keep many amateur meteorologists happy!
Got this to replace an old weather station by Maplin and it is far superior to the old one. It is quite accurate with weather predictions
I love the rain history bar chart and the moon phase display. I always had problems on the old one with losing the signal from the outside sensors but with this one no issues at all.
To summarise this is a very good weather station and I would definitely recommend this
Comprehensive display and useful logging. Defaults to European time zone so leaving wireless clock setting means display is an hour late.
This is an extremely well thought out unit . No miriad of wires to mimick a badly designed bird’s nest. Appears very accurate, shame default time is CET not GMT, but an easy issue to deal with
Good clear display. Easy to set up. Only thing is that the auto time function needs disabling as per the instructions as it’s European time. I was aware of this before purchasing so it wasn’t a surprise. Happy with purchase.

I found the unit easy to install and set up, it looks well made and I hope it will work as I expect.
All the information I need is there at a glance and easy to understand.
Its supposed to have a five year warranty but after registering the unit I did not get an e mail confirmation so whether I have one or not I do not know.
Certainly worth the money in my opinion and I am pleased with my purchase.

Easy to set up reception. Cant get it to record BS time, -its on Frankfurt time, but deduction of one hour no problem
Info itself very accurate in all respects
This is a good solid product that provides reliable current weather data in an accessible way. You aren’t bombarded with periphera and the readout unit is unobtrusive in the kitchen. The negatives are the display stand, which is oddly clunky and needs rethinking. Also the illumination period is a little too short. Finally I suspect the wind indicator may be a little over sensitive and might be better averaged over a longer base period to minimise local bursts. Other than that this is a solid piece of kit.

of the main is good. It is to early to say if its value for money. We live in a remote area so having all the information to hand is great. I’m sure the product will come up to our expectations

I would have to say the instructions are not very clear, and no clue is given to where that sneaky reset button is – recessed under the unit, just looks like a screw hole) Now you know, buy one yourself and enjoy the weather….

Nothing to like or dislike particularly – it does the job required of it.
It is very easy to install, being a one piece transmitter assembly, and set up (as long as you can identify North direction, and it is level {for the rainfall device}). The receiver is easy to use and has a well laid out display. Remember RTM – Read The Manual. It is far better designed than my previous La Crosse weather station, I just hope it lasts longer.

Bought as a present. Gives a good reading of inside and outside temperatures, humidity and max and min temperatures experienced since it was set up. Expensive but useful and would hope it lasts. Don’t find it very easy to read at night even with the internal light switched on but a minor grievance.
It is easy to install and one can read it very easily. However the outside temperature reading LED misses part of the figure. Cannot say why. Otherwise till now it works great.

The 12 hour forecast is usually accurate and it does everything you’d expect it to do.

Good quality station, quick delivery. Only downside so far is batteries run low quickly and the time keeps changing by an hour and not worked out why yet.
Good quality unit comes complete just to set up . I had to make several attempts to set it up and connect units together but has been working very accurately since . Clear information on screen , recommended.
Readings for temperature and Barometric pressure, rainfall etc compare exactly with local weather forecaster so it seems to be accurate. Very happy with this.
To begin with, this weather station looks impressive, both the outdoor sensor and the indoor tablet. However, it is tricky to set up but once it’s working it gives full information on all sorts of weather conditions as described on the product details. I have had this unit now for about 3 months but every now and then it gives a “peep” and resets itself. The time goes back to January 1st 2013 until the RCC changes it again at 2am the following morning, but then the DST needs to be reset. Also, the historical rain data and all other history readings are lost. This has happened now several times and it’s becoming more frequent. I have emailed the manufacturers for advice but not even had the courtesy of an automated reply. I will now be investigating the return procedure with Amazon.

It is a wonderful piece of kit! It has so many features (some of which I am still coming to terms with!) I would recommend this product to anyone who is at all interested in all aspects of the weather.
The quality and feel of both the sensor unit and the main display unit are great, well built and sturdy!
I had to set the time manually on mine by disabling the RCC, but no big deal.
Its worth resetting the data (clearing) as stated in the manual, after mounting the sensor and setting it all up.
Take a peek at your local relative atmospheric pressure (Sea Level) also, and input this in the pressure settings to set a calibration point as it were.
The manual can seem a little daunting, but all becomes clear pretty soon. There are numerous alarms which can be set, but I found these confusing, apart from the ice alert one.
Last point; if the two fail to synch up when you insert the batteries, press the reset button on the sensor, then reset on the main display unit, all will be well!
Have included a pic of how I mounted the sensor, it needs something sturdy…

I have had various other makes, usually made in China (say no more!), and as this one is made in Germany, I went for it.
If anyone wants an accurate weather station, then go for this one!
It seems very accurate and communicates well with the base station, despite our solid Yorkshire stone walls.
My previous set was an Oregon Scientific, which i liked and had for 10 years until the remote unit failed. This has more details and being a sailor I like that information.
