Clever system - and it works
Read reviews about this -after I bought it(!) however follow the instructions and tighten the grub screws for a second time after a week or so and that’s it. Great system, great tap
Feels well made
Not sure the quick fit system actually saves any more time but ok. Tap itself looks well finished. Slightly stiff spout but this may free up with use.
The only negative really is that the flow rate is quite slow – not a massive issue but not as good as last tap.
Nice tap
Wanted a mixer tap with the control at the top to allow full use of the sink drainer and this fitted the bill. Tails were shorter than the old mixer so I had to extend the pipework, but apart from that it was simple to fit. The top section can be removed without disturbing the pipework so it will be easier to apply sealer behind the sink and the mixer can be replaced with another Bristan unit in the future if necessary without disturbing the pipework below the sink.

This is an attractive well made (not cheap) tap BUT it has no nozzle that can direct flow, adjust spray or make it easy to fill kettle spray round sink etc So water flow only goes downwardsWe have tried several different fittings and none of them work because of unusual size Bristan cant help
great mixer tap.
Replaced a tall U shaped tap, this is so much neater and better looking. The on/off, hot/cold lever is at the top of the column which is very convenient, not so awkward to use as those situated at the bottom. No problems with installation, and the tap is working very well. Could not be happier with this purchase.
Excelent value.
This is a first class piece of British made equipment. It is a good, solid well engineered tap with good thick chrome which should last for years. Our plumber rated it as excellent.
