As others have said you need to just take your time using this and it gives great results.

It arrives coiled – so take 15 mins and as you uncoil it – easy bend it back to straight line. When you lay it down – use a big screwdriver or equivalent and push down through the eyelets – to make sure no stones/rock to break the peg when you hammer down. Set aside half a dozen pegs when you layout – and these can be replacement if any break – or extra if left over.

Did this – one broken peg – great result – as a straight run of about 4 metres and curve of about 5 metres.

Use it right – great product.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersIf you do your prep work (removing stones, leveling etc,) then this can last a long time and look great.
I used one of these strips to form the circles in some landscaping I did over the previous summer. They stakes provided are plastic and can break if you have stones in the soil, but they work well.
They form good circles and are easy to use and cut to length. The results are great and would be even better if you could be bothered to properly level the ground which I couldn’t.

5.0 out of 5 stars 18 month update - Still in place and looks grea

Arrived as scheduled and packaged well. The product was robust and easy to use and easily installed. Due to the extreme heat when I used the product it warped a bit but not the products fault. Perhaps a few more pegs would be helpful as some did shatter. MAKE SURE you do a pilot hole before banging the peg In. Overall it looked good and I’m in process of ordering some more for my garden project.

I used this to edge a curved pathway and borders in my garden. As people have said straight lines are not what this produce is good for but it made a curved design quick and easy to install and it naturally made an attractive curve. The spikes were very sharp and easy to tap in even going through heavy duty landscaping fabric. It’s the right height to seperate a generous layer of slate chippings from cotswold buff gravel, though may not be high enough for something like bark chippings. It is a bit pricey but I can’t fault it in any other way.

Good value and looks good. Straightforward to lay with the plastic pegs provided. It comes coiled and it’s tricky to get it to lie absolutely straight so it’s perhaps better suited to more free-form edges. Overall though the effect is clean on our perfectly rectangular patch of lawn.
